  • The Joseon dynasty had close communication with the Ming and Qing dynasties on multiple levels. In the development process of furniture modeling design, the same cultural source and mutual communication, and the same factor was reflected in each other's furniture modeling. In this paper, "Furniture in the later Joseon Period" and "Ming style furniture" are taken as the research noumenon, table furniture as the specific research object, and from the perspective of "similarity" in the history of exchanges between the two countries, the overall modeling design and the local modeling design are selected to discuss the modeling design of traditional furniture in the two countries. In the analysis of specific research cases, there are similar genes in the overall modeling design of table furniture such as soban, warp bed and inkstone bed in the later Joseon Dynasty and table furniture such as kang, square table, wine table and incense table in the Ming and qing dynasties. In terms of local modeling, the appearance of similar desktop, cloud horn, leg, foot and other modeling designs better confirms the similarity in modeling design between the two countries. In this paper for "type of air hole" formative source speculated that traditional furniture is for Korean peninsula a tentative study of cultural studies. Considering the fact that the exchanges between Korea and China are expanding in many aspects, exploring the similarities in the traditional furniture will help to analyze the cultural exchanges between the two countries and promote the exchanges.

  • Recently, with the urban redevelopment and the spread of the planned cities, there is increasing interest in the wind environment, which is related not only to design of buildings and landscaping but also to the comfortability of pedestrians. Numerical analysis for wind environment prediction is underway in many fields, such as dense areas of high-rise building or composition of the apartment complexes, a precisive 3D building model is essentially required in this process. Many studies conducted for wind environment analysis have typically used the method of creating a 3D model by utilizing the building layer included in the GIS (Geographic Information System) data. These data can easily and quickly observe the flow of atmosphere in a wide urban environment, but cannot be suitable for observing precisive flow of atmosphere, and in particular, the effect of a complicated structure of a single building on the flow of atmosphere cannot be calculated. Recently, drone photogrammetry has shown the advantage of being able to automatically perform building modeling based on a large number of images. In this study, we applied photogrammetry technology using a drone to evaluate the flow of atmosphere around two buildings located close to each other. Two 3D models were made into an automatic modeling technique and manual modeling technique. Auto-modeling technique is using an automatically generates a point cloud through photogrammetry and generating models through interpolation, and manual-modeling technique is a manually operated technique that individually generates 3D models based on point clouds. And then the flow of atmosphere for the two models was compared and analyzed. As a result, the wind environment of the two models showed a clear difference, and the model created by auto-modeling showed faster flow of atmosphere than the model created by manual modeling. Also in the case of the 3D mesh generated by auto-modeling showed the limitation of not proceeding an accurate analysis because the precise 3D shape was not reproduced in the closed area such as the porch of the building or the bridge between buildings.

  • 3D scan technology can utilize real spatial information as it is in virtual space, so it can be usefully used in various fields such as reverse engineering of buildings and process management. Recently, with the development of ICT technology, more precise scan data can be obtained, and scan processing time has also been greatly reduced. In addition, the combination of software and scanning equipment used in 3D scanning technology is very diverse, and results are very different depending on which technology is used. Accordingly, there is a problem that it is difficult for a user who has no experience in 3D scanning technology to determine which technology and equipment should be used to obtain good results. In this study, 3D scan technologies mainly used at home and abroad are investigated, classified, and tested at actual construction sites to suggest considerations and suitable 3D scan methods when using 3D scans in construction sites. The test results were analyzed to evaluate the time it takes to scan, the final quality, and the user's convenience according to each technology method.

  • When LPG leaks from the storage tank, the gas try to sink to the ground because LPG is heavier than air. The gas easily creates vapor clouds causing aggressive accidents in no airflow. Therefore, It is important to prevent in advance by analyzing the damaged range caused from LPG leakage and vapor clouds. So, this study analyzed the range of damaged by LPG leakage and vapor clouds with consideration of the cold air flow which is generated by the topographical characteristics and the land use status at night time in the Jeju Hagari. As a result of the cold air flow using KLAM_21, about 2 m/s of cold air was introduced in from the southeast due to the influence of the terrain. The range of damaged by LPG leakage and vapor cloud was analyzed using ALOHA. When the leak hole size is 10 cm at the wind speed of 2 m/s, the range corresponding to LEL 60 % (12,600 ppm) was 61 m which range is expected to influence in nearby residential areas. These results of this study can be used as basic data to prepare preventive measures of accidents caused by vapor cloud. Forward, it is necessary to apply CFD modeling such as FLACS to check the vapor cloud formation due to LPG leakage in a relatively narrow area and to check the cause analysis.

  • One of the powerful data management tools is Building Information Modeling (BIM) which operates through obtaining, recalling, sharing, sorting and sorting data and supplying a digital environment of them. Employing SHM, a BIM in monitoring systems, would be an efficient method to address their data management problems and consequently optimize the economic aspects of buildings. The recording of SHM data is an effective way for engineers, facility managers and owners which make the BIM dynamic through the provision of updated information regarding the occurring state and health of different sections of the building. On the other hand, digital transformation is a continuous challenge in construction. In a cloud-based BIM platform, environmental and localization data are integrated which shape the Internet-of-Things (IoT) method. In order to improve work productivity, living comfort, and entertainment, the IoT has been growingly utilized in several products (such as wearables, smart homes). However, investigations confronting the integration of these two technologies (BIM and IoT) remain inadequate and solely focus upon the automatic transmission of sensor information to BIM models. Therefore, in this composition, the use of BIM based on SHM and IOT is reviewed and the economic application is considered.

  • 3D scanning began in the field of manufacturing. In the construction field, a BIM (Building Information Modeling)-based 3D modeling environment was developed and used for the overall construction, such as factory prefabrication, structure construction inspection, plant facility, bridge, tunnel structure inspection using 3D scanning technology. LiDARs have higher accuracy and density than mobile scanners but require longer registration times and data processing. On the other hand, in interior building space management, relatively high accuracy is not needed, and the user can conveniently move with a mobile scan system. This study derives considerations for the development of Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM)-based Scan Backpack systems that move freely and support real-time point cloud registration. This paper proposes the mobile scan system, framework, and component structure to derive the considerations and improve scan productivity. Prototype development was carried out in two stages, SLAM and ScanBackpack, to derive the considerations and analyze the results.
