  • This study was conducted with the budgetary support of the Gyeonggi Provincial Government Department of Education as curriculum preparation (frequently revised since 2007) for the enhancement of teacher professionalism in Clothing, Food, and Housing Life education. This study promotes changes in student learning through the enrichment of Home Economics content and the classroom-learning environment through the reinforcement of teacher professionalism and attitudes towards Clothing, Food, and Housing Life education. This study enhances the comprehension of Home Economics and understanding by educators on the importance of Home Economics. The training program was evaluated through an analysis of the motive of application, level of satisfaction with the program, change in the view of Clothing Life education, and level of expectation and contributions of the program towards the curriculum development of teaching. The trainees were motivated by the opportunity to practice, uniqueness of the curriculum of the training program, and expectations for professional enhancement. The level of satisfaction is very high. Regardless of subjects, trainees recognized the necessity of practical exercise, cultural & artistic approach, and integrated teacher training in Clothing Life education. The teachers of other subjects recognized the importance of Home Economics and the historical background of Clothing, Food, and Housing Life.

Comparison Between South and North Korean Terms, Related to Clothing and Textiles

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the differences in terminologies used in South and North Korea, to describe objects or activities related to clothing and textiles, as a part of a bigger project that aims at developing an educational program in provision of reunification of the Koreas. In this study, a total of 176 North Korean terms that differ from South Korean terms were collected from various sources, including dictionaries that are developed to compare South-North Korean languages as well as texts such as magazines and news articles, about North Korean daily life. The terms were classified into sub-categories: materials for clothing, clothing management, construction and design, garment names, body parts, description of physical appearance or state of hygiene, and apparel industry. Many of the North Korean terms were derived from native expressions, rather than adopting foreign terms or terms in Chinese characters. Some North Korean terms did not have any corresponding words in South Korean terms or vice versa. We expect the terminology list to become a useful educational resource in establishing a clothing and textiles curriculum in preparation of reunification, by allowing the students to familiarize with the differences in the usage of terms.

노년기 여성의 자아지각과 의복관심과의 상관연구 (A Study on the Relationship between Perception of Self and Clothing Interest for A Group of Elderly Women in Seoul)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between Perception of self anp Clothing Interest, and to determine the difference of Clothing interest and Perception of self by the demographic variables. Perception of self was measured with Perception of self test from Choi's Perceptual Orientation Scale. Appearance, Clothing comfort, Fashion, Psychological dependence, Clothing economics were measured with items from Gurel's Study and Creekmore's for method of measuring clothing variables, items were drawn from preceding measures and, slightly modified. Data were affected from 305 purposively selectee! elderly women over sixty dwelling in Seoul by means of interview and questionnaire. For statistical analyses, frequency distribution, ANOVA, Duncan's multiple Range test, Pearson's Correlation coefficients were used. The results were as follows; 1. The three groups classified, by Perception of self were Positively Correlated to Appearance, Fashion and Psychological dependence. 2. There was partially significant difference between clothing interest and demographic variables. Education and socioeconomic status affected Psychological dependence. Demographic variables not affected Clothing comfort. 3. There was partially significant difference between Perception of self and demographic variables. Age, education, marital status and socioeconomic status affected Perception of Self. 4. There was partially significant relationships among subscales of the Clothing interest. Appearance was positively correlated to clothing comfort, Fashion and Psychological dependence, clothing comfort was positively correlated to Appearance, Psychological dependence. Fashion was positively correlated to Appearance, Clothing comfort and, Psychological dependence.

고령 여성의 착의 실태와 건강 관련 착의 인식에 대한 질적 연구 (Qualitative Research on Wearing Conditions and Health-Related Wearing Perception of Older Women)

  • The purpose of this qualitative research was to examine the behavior patterns and activities related to the clothing of older women. A total of 31 older women were interviewed regarding indoor/outdoor wearing conditions, thermal sensation indoors, and their clothing perception related to health. The final outcomes were as follows. Firstly, interviewees viewed indoor temperature as neutral in the spring and fall. Many people felt cool or warm in the summer and warm or cold in the winter. Secondly, they controlled indoor temperature with an air conditioner and/or fan and by opening the window and/or wearing less clothing. In winter, most respondents used a heating system and wore more clothing. It seemed that the level of dependence on clothing was higher in winter. Thirdly, the number of garment layer indoors was similar among the four seasons, and many wore underwear. However, there were individual variations. Fourthly, interviewees tended to perceive clothing in relation to health. Textile materials appropriate to the season were firstly viewed as related to health, followed by climate adaptability, clothing pressure, UV protection, and aesthetic satisfaction. Fifthly, respondents showed positive attitudes towards health improvement by clothing even though they lacked information on it. From this research, older women showed positive the perception and attitudes regarding clothing from a health perspective. Since they lacked information, education is needed regarding the bases and ways to improve health through clothing behavior.

상황과 소비자 특성의 추구 혜택자 선호 브랜드 유형에 대한 영향 (Interactive Effects of Usage-Situations and Personal Characteristics on Benefit Soughts of Clothing and Preference of Brand Type)

  • The purposes of this study were 1) to test the interactive effects of usage-situation (wedding receptions, home, and vacation) and personal characteristics (age, income, education, job or self-monitoring) on clothing benefits sought and 2) to identify brand type preference of consumer groups segmented by age, income, education, job or self-monitoring within a situation. The data were collected via a questionnaire from 601 housewives of ages 20's∼ 50's living in Seoul, Korea. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, repeated measure two-way ANOVA and Chi-square test. The results of this study were as follows. First, by repeated measure tow-way ANOVA, there were significant interactions of age and situation, and interactions of education and situation on Youth/Fashion benefits and Brand-value benefits. And interactive effects of education and situation on Self-expression benefits and Economic-value benefits were significant by repeated measure two-way A NOVA. Second, based on x2-test, brand type preference was significant difference between consumer groups segmented by age, education and job within a situation. And preferences of brand type were different among usage situations.

  • The purposes of the study were to compare the characteristics among five segments of the population (innovative communicators, innovators, opinion leaders, followers, indifferents) which were divided according to their fashion opinion leadersship and innovativeness. Thirty-one variables (thirteen fashion-related variables, five social variables, nine psychological variables, four demographic variables) were included in the analysis (analysis of variance, chi-square test). Data were obtained from 446 women living in Seoul area by self-administered questionnaire. The results of the study were as follows: there were significant differences among groups in most of fashion-related variables (fashion interest and clothing importance, four dimensions of clothing values, marketer-dominated and neutral information sources) and psychological variables (eight self-image variables) and in some of social and demographic variables (social activity, social stratum, education).

의생활자원 관점에서의 실과(기술ㆍ가정) 환경교육방안에 관한 연구 (The Strategy for the Environmental Education through the Practical Arts(TechnologyㆍHome economics) Subject in a viewpoint of the Clothing & Textiles resources)

  • 본 연구는 의생활 영역의 환경문제를 해결하고자 의생활자원관점에서 실과(기술ㆍ가정) 교과에서 환경교육적 방안을 제시하는데 목적을 두고 수행되었으며 이를 달성하기 위하여 의생활 자원의 소비, 의생활자원의 환경문제 및 이에 대한 정부의 정책과 규제와 기업의 섬유환경기술, 환경교육에 관한 자료를 고찰하였다. 연구의 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구에서는 의생활 자원 관점에서의 환경교육 체제는 학교교육을 중심으로 한 정부, 가정, 기업, 환경단체의 상호연계 체제로 이루어져야하며, 아울러 의생활 자원 관점에서 환경교육은 실과(기술ㆍ가정) 교과에서 담당하는 것이 가장 타당하다는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. 둘째로, 실과(기술ㆍ가정) 의생활 영역에서 다루어져야 할 환경교육내용을 '의생활 환경자원의 인식(섬유소비량 생산과 환경문제)', '의류의 마련과 계획 및 구매(계획, 구매)', '의류의 관리(피복재료의 이해, 인체와 환경, 세탁과 환경오염, 정리와 보관)', '의류의 재활용 및 폐기(기부, 리디자인, 리사이클, 폐기)'의 4개영역의 12개 하위요소를 추출하여, 실과(기술ㆍ가정) 의생활 영역 환경교육내용의 분석 준거로 삼았다. 셋째, 의생활 영역에서 다루어져야 할 환경교육내용을 준거로 현행 실과(기술ㆍ가정)교과를 분석한 결과, 의생활과 관련한 환경 교육은 중학교 과정에서 가장 많이 담당하고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 의생활과 관련한 환경교육 내용면에서는 초ㆍ중등 모두 재활용 부분에 집중되어 있으며 나머지 영역에서는 미흡한 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 실과(기술ㆍ가정) 교과에서의 의생활영역의 환경교육 내용을 분석한 후 실과(기술ㆍ가정) 각 의생활 단원에서 다루어지지 않았거나 미흡한 내용의 환경교육 강화 방안을 제시하였다. 행동은 물론 과잉 행동에 직, 간접적으로 유의적인 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 결과는 어머니의 식생활 환경은 아동의 영양 관리 및 아동의 성장, 발달 및 행동과 학습 행동에 중요한 영향력을 미칠 수 있는 것으로 나타나 어머니의 식생활 환경의 중요성을 강조하여야 할 것이다.재 사용비율은 경기도, 충남에서는 거의 50% 수준에 육박한다. 골재 석산은 경기도, 경북, 경남, 충북에서 거의 비슷한 비율로 분포하며 오히려 전북에서의 골재 석산의 수는 적은 편에 속한다. 강원도가 골재석산의 수가 가장 적은 편이다.지렁이와 토양 미생물에 아무런 영향을 미치지 않았고 토양 중 반감기도 15일 이내로 토양 중에 노출 시 매우 신속하게 분해 소실되어 그 위해성은 매우 낮은 수준인 것으로 판단되며, 작물 재배지에서 밭고랑의 잡초 방제를 위해 비산방지 기구를 이용하여 살포할 경우에는 재배 작물에 안전한 것으로 판단되었다.0.65% 첨가했을 때 WG, SGR, FE, PER이 가장 높았으나, 이전의 실험(Takeuchi, 1980)과 동일한 수준인 n-3와 n-6를 각각 0.5%씩 첨가한 실험구와는 유의적인 차이를 보이지 않았다. 이렇게 볼 때, 뱀장어 치어의 필수지방산은 LNA (n-3), LA (n-6)이고, 그 적정수준은 각각 0.35-0.5%, 0.5-0.65%임을 보여준다.George W, Bush)가 새로운 지도자로 취임하여 얼마 되지 않은 2001년 9월 11일 사상 초유로 본토에서 알 카에다 테러리스트 조직에 의해 공격받게 되었다. 뉴욕의 세계무역센터 빌딩 2개가 완전히 붕괴되고, 펜타곤에 민간 여객기가 충돌하여 많은 사람이 살상 당하고, 전체적으로 세계 80여 개국으로부터의 6천여 명이 살상되었다. 전 세계와

혼합현실 기술 사용자 체험이 플로우와 지속사용의도에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of User Experience on Perceived Flow and Continuous Intentions to Use the Mixed Reality Technology)

  • This study aims to predict causal relationships between experience economy, perceived flow, and continuous use intention in the mixed reality (MR) environment. A virtual fitting mirror with two modes (i.e., avatar and self-image) was selected for this study. A total of 200 samples was obtained in two sample frames: virtual fitting users in avatar mode (group 1, n = 119) and self-image mode (group 2, n = 81). The results showed that the experience economy consists of entertainment, education, esthetic, and escapism. The entertainment and esthetic experiences had positive effects on perceived flow, leading to continuous use intentions. For avatar mode, the entertainment and esthetic experiences had positive effects on continuous use intentions through the mediating effect of flow; and the education experience had a positive effect on the continuous intentions to use the MR technology. For self-image mode, the flow mediated the effect of entertainment on continuous use intentions, whereas education and escapism directly affected the intention to use the MR technology. The paper also discusses the theoretical and managerial implications of using MR technologies in fashion retailing.

성별과 연령층에 따른 병.의원의 의류 제품 소비 경험 -환자복 및 의료보조용품 개선 방안 도출을 위해- (The Hospital-Clothes Consumption Experience of Consumers According to Gender and Age -A Suggestion for the Improvement of Patient Gowns and Medical Supplies-)

  • This study investigates the actual hospital-clothes consumption experience of consumers according to gender and age. An all age survey was conducted among male and female ex-patients in Korea nationally. From data collected during April and May 2009, a total of 513 responses were analyzed using descriptive statistics, chi-square analysis, two-way ANOVA, and MANOVA using SPSS 10.1.4. The results are as follows. The hospitalization ratio was higher in the male group than in the female group and increased with age. Many hospitalizations were taken to the department of orthopedics, internal treatment, obstetrics and gynecology, and surgery. The satisfaction with patient gowns was low regarding size, fabric touch, color and pattern, Psychological comfort, and holistic satisfaction, Specifically, the stiffness of the fabric, cheerless colors, and the limited number of sizes were the main complaints; size dissatisfaction was expressed strongly by females. About 35% of respondents showed a positive attitude to wear premium patient gowns. Various medical supplies were used and different items were utilized according to gender and age of patients. Uncomfortableness of medical supplies were highly related to laundry and fabric touch.
