Objectives This study was purposed to develop the clinical practice guideline for examination of Sasangin disease and diagnosis for Sasang Constitution. Methods "Donguisusebowon" and many articles were reviewed and examined for developing clinical practice guidelines. And "Guideline for Educating Public Health Korean Medical Doctors on Diagnosis of Sasang Constitution" was basically used to develop clinical guidelines. Results & Conclusions By researching and discussing the examination of Sasangin disease and diagnosis for Sasang Constitution, we make the principle of the clinical practice guideline, including methods using body shape, facial shape, vocal characteristic and personality etc.

Objectives This research was proposed to present Clinical Practice Guideline(CPG) for Soyangin Disease of Sasang Constitutional Medicine(SCM): Diagnosis and Algorithm. This CPG was developed by the national-wide experts committee consisting of SCM professors. Methods We searched the literature and articles related to Soyangin Symptomatology diagnosis and algorithm. For developing diagnosis and algorithm, we searched the classification, ordinary symptom, present symptom of the Soyangin Symptomatology. Results & Conclusions We classify the Soyangin Symptomatology by 4 steps: Exterior-Interior disease, favorable-unfavorable pattern, mild-moderate-severe-critical pattern (initial-advanced pattern). And at the unfavorable pattern, ordinary symptom is very important. So doctors need to focus on the symptom of unfavorable's ordinary symptom such as temperament inclined symptom, diarrhea, and diurnal body fever.

Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) is the fifth most common cancer worldwide (fifth in male, seventh in female) and the third most common cause of cancer mortality. Since 2001, the various research group in the United States, Europe and Asia have published clinical practice guidelines for HCC. In Korea, a clinical practice guideline for HCC have been published by The Korean Liver Cancer Study Group in 2003, revised in 2009 and 2014. In China, oriental medicine clinical practice guideline have been published for the first time in 2014, and in the oriental medical profession of Korea, there is growing need for the guideline. This study will introduce the methods of diagnosis and the medical therapeutics which is commonly utilized for HCC in Korea, and existing korean medicine clinical practice guideline for Disease Analysis and Treatment(辨證論治) and herbal therapy of HCC. Further clinical research about various herbal medicines are needed to develop more advanced guideline of HCC.

Objectives The purpose of this study is to review pre-existing clinical practice guidelines for autism spectrum disorders, and refer those in developing a new practice guideline. Methods A total of 9 existing clinical practice guidelines for autism spectrum disorder developed from 2010 to 2016 were searched by Google scholar and Pubmed, and were reviewed those literatures in three parts: general, diagnosis & evaluation, and intervention. Results There were no consistency in the recommendation methods of 9 clinical care guidelines (such as the method of rating and recommendation intensity for diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment). However, in the diagnosis and evaluation section, frequently used evaluation and diagnostic tools are mentioned in most clinical practice guidelines, and the types of pharmacologic and non-pharmacological treatments that are mainly recommended in treatment are equally mentioned in most clinical practice guidelines could confirm. Conclusions 1. Some guideline recommendations are graded according to each criterion. Recommendations presented in various databases were based on systematic reviews or other literatures. The most utilized database were PsycINFO, CINAHL, Cochrane. 2. DSM-5 and ICD-10 were the most common used diagnostic criteria, and DSM-IV was used as a diagnostic standard in the guideline published before 2013. The tools used for diagnosis and evaluation were also varied. However, most recommended ones were ADI-R, ADOS-G, and DISCO. 3. Treatment was largely divided into pharmacological intervention and non-pharmacological intervention. In some guideline, the interventions were divided into pediatric and adult. Most of the pharmacological interventions were not recommended due to lack of evidence, but in cases in which specific symptoms were aimed, they recommended to seek professional help. 4. In addition to interventions, each guideline referred to supportive interventions that may be helpful in the daily life of patients with ASD, which may need to be addressed in future clinical guidelines.

The American Academy of Pediatrics and American Academy of Family Physicians developed the clinical practice guideline on the management of acute otitis media. The American Academy of Pediatrics, American Academy of Family Physicians, and American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery developed the clinical practice guideline on the diagnosis and management of otitis media with effusion. These two guidelines provide evidence-based recommendations.

Background : The atopic dermatitis patient and their families are looking for safer herb-medicine treatments that possess therapeutic effects, but without the recurrence of symptoms and long-term harmful consequences that can result from other treatment. However, for many reasons, including methodological difficulties and lack of high quality study like randomized clinical study and systematic review, there are no consistent clinical guide line for atopic dermatitis in Traditional Korean Medicine. Objectives : Evidence-based clinical practice guidelines support clinical decision-making by making recommendations to guide clinical practice. The purpose of this study was to develop Traditional Korean Medicine clinical practice guideline for atopic dermatitis Result : The future guide should be based on scientific evidence and include the followings: (1) diagnosis of atopic dermatitis (2) the pattern identification of atopic dermatitis (3) classification of Sasang Constitution (4) efficacy assessment (5) treatment guideline (6) education for patients and care givers Conclusion : The development of Traditional Korean Medicine clinical practice guideline for atopic dermatitis is needed.

And we classified the Taeyangin Symptomatology by 3 steps: Exterior-Interior disease, favorable-unfavorable pattern, mild-moderate-severe-critical pattern. At the unfavorable pattern, ordinary symptom is very important. So doctors are considered to need to focus on the symptom of unfavorable's ordinary symptoms.

The incidence rate of cervical cancer in Korea is still higher than in other developed countries, notwithstanding the national mass screening program. Cervical cancer prognosis is good due to an effective treatment such as surgery or radiation therapy, concurrent chemotherapy in the early stage. However, it is still a poor prognosis when advanced stage or recurrent. Some studies said that combined oriental and western medicine can improve the survival, quality of life, immune function, and decrease side effects in cervical cancer. In the western medical part, clinical practice guideline was published in 2006, 2007 and 2010 in Korea. In China, oriental medicine clinical practice guideline have been published in 2014. But there is no Korean medicine clinical practice guideline. This study will introduce the methods of diagnosis and the medical therapeutics which is commonly utilized for cervical cancer in Korea, and existing Korean medicine clinical practice guideline for Disease Analysis and Treatment (辨證論治). This study will be a meaningful study to establish clinical practice guidelines of Korean Medicine for cervical cancer.

Objectives This study was aimed to develop the clinical practice guideline for Soyangin symptomatology. It discussed the principle and method of application of clinical practice guideline for Soyangin symptomatology which focuses on symptomatology, not disease. Methods Based on the previous guidelines, we assessed the guidelines by Appraisal of Guidelines for Research and Evaluation (AGREE II). After AGREE II assessment, we chose and revised the clinical practice guideline. Member of writing committee reviewed and examined "Donguisusebowon" and many articles for developing clinical practice guidelines. Draft of clinical practice guideline was reviewed by advisory committee and approved by Society of Sasang Constitutional Medicine. Results & Conclusions By researching and discussing the Soyangin symptomatology, we establish the evaluation criteria for diagnosis including classification, definition and develop diagnostic algorithm and treatment assessing tool.
