다문화가족지원센터 이용자 만족도 척도 개발 (The Development of a Client Satisfaction Questionnaire on Multicultural Family Support Services)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to develop and examine the psychometric properties of the Client Satisfaction Questionnaire on multicultural family support services. Methods: The Client Satisfaction Questionnaire was designed to address key elements of the client's satisfaction with the services (i.e., family education, gender equality education, human right education, and social integration education) provided for multicultural families. The nationwide data were collected from 5,335 clients who participated in family education, 4,582 clients who participated in gender equality education, 4,777 clients who participated in human right education, and 5,547 clients who participated in social integration education at the multicultural family support center. Results: In general, the psychometric properties of the Client Satisfaction Questionnaire were satisfactory. Specifically, social validity was supported by 13 professors and local multicultural service center professionals and construct validity was tested and confirmed using a series of exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses. The split-half reliability and internal consistency of the questionnaire were also highly acceptable. Conclusion: The sound psychometric properties of the Client Satisfaction Questionnaire indicates that the it can be a useful tool for evaluating client satisfaction with the services provided by multicultural family support centers.

SUV39H1 is a New Client Protein of Hsp90 Degradated by Chaetocin as a Novel C-Terminal Inhibitor of Hsp90

  • Hsp90 is often overexpressed with activated form in cancer cells, and many key cellular proteins are dependent upon the Hsp90 machinery (these proteins are called "client protein"). Nowadays, more client proteins and more inhibitors of Hsp90 are being discovered. Chaetocin has been identified as an inhibitor of histone methyl transferase SUV39H1. Herein, we find that Chaetocin is an inhibitor of Hsp90 which binds to the C-terminal of Hsp90α. Chaetocin inhibited a variety of Hsp90 client proteins including AMl1-ETO and BCL-ABL, the mutant fusion-protein in the K562 and HL-60 cells. SUV39H1 mediates epigenetic events in the pathophysiology of hematopoietic disorders. We found that inhibition of Hsp90 by Chaetocin and 17-AAG had ability to induce degradation of SUV39H1 through proteasome pathway. In addition, SUV39H1 interacted with Hsp90 through co-chaperone HOP. These results suggest that SUV39H1 belongs to a client protein of Hsp90. Moreover, Chaetocin was able to induce cell differentiation in the two cells in the concentration range of Hsp90 inhibition. Altogether, our results demonstrate that SUV39H1 is a new client protein of Hsp90 degradated by Chaetocin as a novel C-terminal inhibitor of Hsp90. The study establishes a new relationship of Chaetocin and SUV39H1, and paves an avenue for exploring a new strategy to target SUV39H1 by inhibition of Hsp90 in leukemia.

WWW에서 계층적 WBI 문서 생성기를 이용한 수준별 원격교육시스템 개발 (A Developement of Group-Level Distance Education System Using the Generator of Hierarchical WBI Documents on the WWW)

  • 최근 인터넷 웹을 이용하는 원격교육시스템 사용자가 급격히 늘어나고 있다. 본 논문에서는 CGI를 이용한 계층적 WBI 문서 생성기가 고안되었고, 이를 수준별 영어회화학습을 위한 원격교육 시스템을 개발하는 데 적용하였다. 이는 많은 시간과 비용이 들어가는 기존의 개발방법의 문제점을 극복하였다. WBI 문서생성을 위해서 서버에 계층적 구조로 저장된 각 문서마다 키(key)를 부여하여 클라이언트에게 전달하고, 클라이언트는 다음 문서 요청 때 이 키를 서버에 전달함으로써, 서버는 클라이언트가 요구하는 문서가 무엇인지 알 수 있다. 인터넷 웹을 기반으로 하는 학습 프로그램인 WBI(Web Based Instruction) 문서를 생성해주는 생성기는 클라이언트에서 전달한 키를 판별하여 전송할 문서를 자동으로 생성하여 전달한다.

  • 초 중 고등학교의 컴퓨터의 보급이 증가함에 따라 컴퓨터를 이용한 수업이 증가하고 있다. 컴퓨터를 사용한 수업이 여러 가지 장점이 있으나, 학생들을 통제할 수 없다는 단점도 있다. 수업을 위해 강의 홈페이지에 접속할 때, 교수자의 위치에서는 학습자의 모니터를 볼 수 없기 때문에 강의 홈페이지가 아닌 다른 웹사이트에 접속을 하여도 이를 통제할 수가 없다. 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터를 이용한 수업을 보다 효율적으로 하기 위한, Client/Server에 기반한 효율적인 원격 학습 교육 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

인간의 감정을 자동 인식하는 전자메일 클라이언트의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of E-mail Client based on Automatic Feeling Recognition)

  • 현대에는 인터넷과 휴대폰의 대중화로 인해 일반 국민들도 전자메일 클라이언트를 통해 통신이 매우 자유롭다. 전자메일의 사용은 개인적인 일은 물론 기업 사무, 광고 메일, 뉴스, 광고 메일 등 폭넓게 이용되고 있으나 여러 문제점들이 나타나고 있다. 이제는 전자메일 클라이언트에 자연언어 처리 기술의 고급 기능의 탑재와 컴퓨터 바이러스 혹은 스팸 메일을 방지하는 고기능이 임베디드 되어야 한다. 이 기술을 이용하여 전자메일의 내용에 포함된 작성자의 "즐거움", "성남", "슬픔"등 인간의 감정 표현을 여섯 가지의 감정 속성(전달 내용, 말투 표현, 불쾌 표현, 기쁨 표현, 슬픔 표현, 상대방 입장)으로 자동 매핑 하여 메일 클라이언트의 송신과 수신 프로세서에서 보다 정밀한 사람의 감정을 이해하고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 메일의 송신 전에 문서의 내용 중에 불쾌한 표현이 존재하면 제거하도록 문서 교정을 독려하는 지능적인 전자메일 클라이언트 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다.

실무수행능력 중심의 교육모형 및 측정도구 개발 (The Development of Nursing Education Model and The Instrument for Improving Clinical Competence)

  • The revolution of nursing curriculum has been focused on clinical competency for nursing graduates to flexibly respond to changes in societal health needs and disciplinary requirements. In this trend, the study was designed to identify basic concepts of nursing education that reflects the changes in societal needs and nursing discipline, and to develop the instrument to measure performance level in each dimension of clinical competency. The study was conducted in two phases. In phase 1, principal concepts consisted of nursing education were determined through literature review as well as series of discussion sessions on nursing philosophies and educational objectives among researchers. Though the process, the conceptual framework of competency based nursing curriculum was constructed with nursing process and professional role as horizontal threads, client, health needs, and nursing interventions as vertical threads. Then, items were developed to represent each dimension of competency : client and health need, nursing process, professional role, and nursing interventions. The total of 273 items were included as to represent clinical competency required for BSN graduates. In phase 2, questionnaires were distributed to nursing faculties of 41 BSN programs to validate the 273-item Instrument developed to measure competency. The total of 34 subjects returned the questionnaire with 81% of response rates. The subjects of the study had an average of 42 months of clinical experience and 13 years of education experience in various nursing areas with an age range of 30 to 52 years. The data were analyzed by utilizing SPSSWIN and the results are as follows. 1) The mean score of the nursing process dimension was supported most with the mean of 3.60(SD=0.32) compared to client and health need dimension(M=3.49, SD=.40), professional role(M=3.41, SD=.44), and nursing interventions(M=3.57, SD=.34). 2) The dimensions of competency were moderately correlated to each other with a range of r=.433 to r=.829, confirming that four dimensions of competency were related but distinct concepts. 3) The items of each dimension were analyzed based on its appropriateness. 'Assessing risk factors of the clients' were most highly supported in client and health need dimension. Most items of nursing process dimension were considered appropriate, while items related to efficient communication were well supported in professional role dimension. In nursing intervention dimension, items on basic nursing skills were highly supported while items on specific nursing interventions such as music therapy or art therapy were considered relatively inappropriate to competency for BSN graduates. The findings clearly showed that the current nursing education more emphasizes nursing interventions based on nursing process than other dimensions of competency. There is a need to reconceptualize nursing curriculum that is able to reflect more of nursing professional role and client/health need dimensions. Further research to validate the instrument by confirming competency dimensions of nursing graduates who are currently working at the hospital has been suggested.

원격교육을 위한 클라이언트/서버구조의 웹 기반 시뮬레이션 환경 : SimDraw (A Web-based Simulation Environment based on the Client/Server Architecture for Distance Education: SimDraw)

  • 최근 인터넷 및 초고속네트워크의 발전과 더불어 원격교육도 활발히 이용되고 있다. 온라인 강의(교수-학습)툴에 대한 상대적으로 많은 연구와는 비교되게 가상실험 툴에 대한 연구는 미진하다고 할수 있다. 본 논문에서는 원격교육용 가상실험실로 사용될 수 있는 웹 기반 시뮬레이션 툴, SimDraw를 설계 및 구현한다. 웹 기반 시뮬레이션기술을 원격교육에 적용시키기 위해서는 다음과 같은 몇 가지 요구사항이 만족되어야 한다. 첫째, 시뮬레이션 툴의 사용자 인터페이스가 간단해서 학생들이 쉽게 사용할 수 있어야 한다. 둘째, 원격 학생들의 다양한 컴퓨터 환경에서도 일관되게 실행될 수 있을 정도로 이식성이 있어야 한다. 마지막으로 셋째, 시뮬레이션 프로그램이 충분히 가벼워서 학생들이 설치 없이 사용이 가능하거나 혹은 설치가 매우 간결하고 쉽게 이루어질 수 있어야 한다. 이러한 요구조건을 만족시키기 위해 SimDraw는 클라이언트/서버구조에 기반하고 있다. 클라이언트프로그램은 모델작성 및 애니메이션 기능만을 가지고 있으므로 자바 애플릿으로 구현이 가능하고 웹 브라우져 내에서 실행될 수 있다. 즉 설치가 전혀 필요 없다. 서버프로그램은 원격컴파일, 모델저장, 라이브러리관리, 사용자관리 등의 기능을 클라이언트 측에 제공한다. SimDraw의 기능을 평가하기 위해 RIP(Routing Information Protocol) 라우팅 프로토콜의 가상 실험을 예로 들어서 시뮬레이션 과정을 보였다.

  • With the rapid development of the Internet over the recent years, in conjunction with the transmission protocol TCP/IP and the latest version of hypertext(HTML) facilities, new opportunities have come into existence for the use of the network for the remote control of experiments and the other practical systems in engineering education. Using graphical software environments in client-server systems, remote control and monitoring system can be easily designed. Client-server systems have some general advantages when compared with simple Remote-Access Systems. In this paper we present a client-server architecture for the distributed measurement system of instrumentation over the Internet. The proposed solution allows multi-user, multi-instruments sessions to be obtained by means of a queuing process and provides instrument lock capability. Client applications can be easily developed by using conventional high-level programming languages or well-assessed virtual instrumentation frameworks.

국내 아동간호학 분야의 연구개념 고찰 Ⅱ- 간호실무, 대상자 간호사, 환경 영역을 중심으로 (An Analysis of the Concepts in Child Health Nursing Studies in Korea (2) : The Practice, The Client-Nurse, The Environmental Domain)

  • The main purpose of this study is to examine the concepts appeared on research and provide future research directions in field of child health nursing. 205 studies of the total 318 studies had been analyzed first for the concepts of the client domain and this time 113 studies were analyzed for the practice, the client-nurse and the environmental domain in nursing. The practice domain includes mentalistitic, enactment, knowledge utilization, role related phenomenon, the client-nurse domain includes touch, communication, interaction phenomenon, and the environmental domain includes physical, social, symbolic environment. All were originally published between 1990 and 2000 in Korea. An analysis of concepts for this study was used the metaparadigm framework for nursing proposed by H. S. Kim(2000). 1. 103 studies belonged to the practice domain. Among them, 56(54%) studies used concepts related to enactment phenomenon like education(21.4%), giving information(7.1%), breast feeding(5.4%), caring(5.4%), airway suction(5.4%), nonnutritive sucking(5.4%). 44(43%) studies used concepts related to knowledge utilization like program development and evaluation of smoking, mother-infant interaction, home health nursing, obesity management. And only 3(3%) studies used role related concepts like quality of nursing, direction of health education, contents of child health nursing education. 2. Only 2(0.006%) studies belonged to the client-nurse domain. One concept is empathy in communication phenomenon and the other concept is role conflict in interaction phenomenon. 3. 8(0.02%) studies belonged to the environmental domain. Among them, 3 studies related to physical environment like space, noise and 5 studies related to social environment like social support, home environment. But the concept of symbolic environment was not used. The findings of this study provide the evidence that research related to the client-nurse domain and the environmental domain should be conducted actively to improve the practice of child health nursing. So that the research in field of child health nursing should be dealt with the concepts of four domains to develop knowledge systematically.
