Sealapex의 근관 폐쇄 효과에 관한 실험적 연구 (LONG TERM SEALING ABILITY OF SEALAPEX)

  • Sealapex was compaired with a zinc oxide eugenol sealer over a 24 - wk interval to examine solubility in an in vitro situation. After obturation with gutta percha and the appropriate sealer, speciemens were immediately immersed in a saline solution to challenge the solubility of the sealers. The solutions were changed weekly to allow for a continued dissolution of the sealers. After immersed in methylene blue solution for 3 days, the speciemens were made transparent by a clearing process. Microscopic examination was used to determine the linear penetration of dye for each speciemen. Result revealed that sealapex had no greater dissolution than ZOE(P<0.05).

  • We propose a task and motion planning algorithm for clearing obstacles and wiping surfaces, which is essential for surface disinfection during the pathogen disinfection process. The proposed task and motion planning algorithm determines task parameters such as grasping pose and placement location during the planning process without using pre-specified or discretized values. Furthermore, to quickly inspect many unit motions, we propose a motion feasibility prediction algorithm consisting of collision checking and an SVM model for inverse mechanics and self-collision prediction. Planning time analysis shows that the feasibility prediction algorithm can significantly increase the planning speed and success rates in situations with multiple obstacles. Finally, we implemented a hierarchical control scheme to enable wiping motion while following a planner-generated joint trajectory. We verified our planning and control framework by conducted an obstacle-clearing and surface wiping experiment in a simulated disinfection environment.

Short- and long-term deflections of RC building structures influenced by construction processes

  • This paper analyzes the influence of the construction process on short- and long-term deflections on a reinforced concrete structure poured on-site by a portable industrialized system. A parametric analysis was carried out by the Finite Elements Method (FEM) that considered: a) type of construction process with reshoring or clearing (partial striking); b) the number of successively shored floors and c) the number of shores used on each floor. All three factors were especially important for the values of short- and long-term deflections, which were highest in the reshoring processes with the lowest number of successively shored floors and the lowest number of shores per floor. Deflections obtained were compared with the limits laid down by ACI 318-14 and as calculated by this code's simplified method. The long-term deflections were seen to be almost double than those obtained by applying the ACI 318-14 code's simplified method and in some cases these deflections were above the established limits. It can thus be concluded that the load history of a building under construction should be taken into account in order to satisfy a structure's in-service conditions and durability.

Design of Direct-Current Fuzzy Controller for Mitigating Commutation Failure in HVDC System

  • Commutation failures can deteriorate the availability of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) links and may lead to outage of the HVDC system. Most commutation failures are caused by voltage reduction due to ac system faults on inverter side. The commutation failure process can be divided into two stages. The first stage, from the occurrence to the clearing of faults, is called 'Deterioration Stage'. The second stage, from the faults clearing to restoring the power system stability, is called 'Recovery Stage'. Based on the analysis of the commutation failure process, this paper proposes a direct-current fuzzy controller including prevention and recovery controller. The prevention controller reduces the direct current to prevent Commutation failures in the 'Deterioration Stage' according to the variation of ac voltage. The recovery controller magnifies the direct current to speed up the recovery of power system in the 'Recovery Stage', based on the recovery of direct voltage. The validity of this proposed fuzzy controller is further proved by simulation with CIGRE HVDC benchmark model in PSCAD/EMTDC. The results show the commutation failures can be mitigated by the proposed direct-current fuzzy controller.

수종의 분산 염료 및 환원염료에 의한 Polyester microfiber의 고견뢰 염색기술 (High Fastness Dyeing Technology of Polyester Microfiber with Several Disperse Dyes and Vat dye)

  • Polyester microfiber has usually greater dye uptake than normal denier polyester fiber in same dyeing condition. In spite of this high dye uptake dyed microfiber fabric has not only low visual colour depth but also poor washing fastness property. In order to study high colouring dyeing technology and high washing fastness of polyester microfiber, dyeing property of polyester microfiber was investigated according to the dye solubility and particle size of used disperse dyes in aqueous dye solution. After disperse dyeing, dyed fabric with disperse dye was redyed with a vat dye without reduction clearing in order to obtain a high washing fastness property. The result were as followings ; A small particle sized disperse dyes such as C. I. Disperse Blue 56 and Red 60 showed high rate of initial exhaution compared with a large particle sized disperse dyes like C. I. Disperse Blue 165 and Red 343. In study of dyeing property of polyester microfiber with C. I. Vat Blue 1, polyester microfiber could achieve high dye uptake at a given optimum vatting process conditions. On the other hand, in consecutive dyeing with disperse and vat dye, K/S value of polyester microfiber with a small particle sized disperse dye increased without reduction clearings, but K/S value of polyester microfiber with a large particle sized disperse dye decreased with reduction clearings.

  • Three essential components of self-regulating capital market includes trading clearing and regulation. These three procedures have to be excuted in accurate, prompt, and orderly way so that the markets can provide individual investors with confidence. In this study, we review these procedures and discuss how the quality service of them can be related to investor confidence. We will also discuss the details of regulatory process and especially how to monitor the stock price and volume for the detection of their unusual movements as the first procedure of regulation.

  • 원자력 발전소의 증기방출계통에는 상당수의 산업공정에서 보여지는 바와 같이 배관을 통해 응축성 기체를 침수 분사시켜 응축시키는 과정이 포함된다. 본 연구에서는 증기방출계통 파이프와 지지문의 설계에 사용되는 동적 하중을 계산하기 위하여 증기방출 과도현상에 대한 해석을 특성기법을 사용하여 수행하였다. 해석모델은 마찰이 존재하는 균일한 배관을 통해 증기가 수조로 방출되는 경우에 대하여, 증기유량 및 배관 내에 원래 존재하고 있는 공기와 물의 방출유량 등을 고려하였고 압력 및 열원, 밸브, 분지관 등을 포함하였다. 배관의 유동 특성과 동적 하중을 계통 압력, 배관 길이 및 침수 깊이의 변화에 따라 계산하였다. 계산 결과 공기와 물의 경계에서의 배관의 동적 하중, 배관 내의 물 제거 시간 및 물 이동 속도 등은 계통 압력뿐만 아니라 배관 길이 및 침수 깊이의 영향을 받는 것으로 확인되었다.

양양의 자연재해 취약지 추정 (Developing a Nature Hazard Vulnerability Map of Yangyang and its Vicinity)

  • Yangyang Gangwon-do has begun the clearing of upland forested areas for development. This process has caused great damage from natural hazards such as landslides and flooding for many years. Moreover, proper hazard prevention strategies have not Yet been prepared. To provide useful information for developing hazard prevention strategies this study attempted to detect areas vulnerable to flooding in Yangyang using data such as topology, meteorology, history, land use, soil, hydrology, and society. It was found that roughly 30% of the study area was vulnerable to flooding. Also it was discovered that where the vulnerability index was high, there was increased amounts of flooding. The most vulnerable areas were where forests were cut and near livers. In addition, areas where frequent hazard events were reported had a high index of vulnerability. The results of this study will provide useful information in developing hazard prevention strategies.

A House Design Method of Normative Modules adopting Hanok and Traditional Building Framing Skills

  • In this paper, we try to verify a normative module based house design procedure consisted of several sequential steps. The first step is to suggest formalization of designing so that we could clarify each phase and operation we are adopting in our design process. The second step is the clearing up the conceptual schema of traditional skills that we adopt and utilize from traditional Hanok framing techniques. The third step is to formulate adequate modular kits for the assembly of house design solutions for the schematic, conceptual and preliminary phases of designing. The fourth step is to implementing our ideas and methods to a proper computational platform such as Unity3D. The final step is to verify our symbolic descriptions of design formalization with the output of our experiments so that we have better understanding of design reasoning characteristics such as in house design.

송전선이용료를 반영한 전력거래의 내쉬협상게임 해법 (A Nash Bargaining Solution of Electric Power Transactions Reflecting Transmission Pricing in the Competitive Electricity Market)

  • It has been a basic model for the present electric power industry that more than two generators compete, and thereby the market clearing price and the generation schedules are determined through the bid process. In order for this paradigm to be applicable to real electric power systems and markets, it is necessary to reflect many physical and economic constraints related to frequency and transmission in the dispatching schedule. The paper presents an approach to deriving a Nash bargaining solution in a competitive electricity market where multiple generators are playing with the system operator who mitigates the transmission congestion to minimize the total transaction cost. In this study, we take the effect of the line flows and the role of system operator into the Game. Finally, a case study has been demonstrated to verify the proposed cooperative game.
