  • In this paper we consider inverse problem for a general class of nonlinear stochastic differential equations on Hilbert spaces whose generating operators (drift, diffusion and jump kernels) are unknown. We introduce a class of function spaces and put a suitable topology on such spaces and prove existence of optimal generating operators from these spaces. We present also necessary conditions of optimality including an algorithm and its convergence whereby one can construct the optimal generators (drift, diffusion and jump kernel).

  • In most of the existing literature, the definition of the class label has the following characteristics. First, the class label of the samples from the same object has an absolutely fixed value. Second, the difference between class labels of the samples from different objects should be maximized. However, the appearance of a face varies greatly due to the variations of the illumination, pose, and expression. Therefore, the previous definition of class label is not quite reasonable. Inspired by discriminative least squares regression algorithm (DLSR), a noisy label based discriminative least squares regression algorithm (NLDLSR) is presented in this paper. In our algorithm, the maximization difference between the class labels of the samples from different objects should be satisfied. Meanwhile, the class label of the different samples from the same object is allowed to have small difference, which is consistent with the fact that the different samples from the same object have some differences. In addition, the proposed NLDLSR is expanded to the kernel space, and we further propose a novel kernel noisy label based discriminative least squares regression algorithm (KNLDLSR). A large number of experiments show that our proposed algorithms can achieve very good performance.

  • Green microalgae from the class Chlorophyceae represent a major biodiversity component of eukaryotic algae in continental water. Identification and classification of this group through morphology is a hard task, since it may present cryptic species and phenotypic plasticity. Despite the increasing use of molecular methods for identification of microorganisms, no single standard barcode marker is yet established for this important group of green microalgae. Some available studies present results with a limited number of chlorophycean genera or using markers that require many different primers for different groups within the class. Thus, we aimed to find a single marker easily amplified and with wide coverage within Chlorophyceae using only one pair of primers. Here, we tested the universality of primers for different genes (tufA, ITS, rbcL, and UCP4) in 22 strains, comprising 18 different species from different orders of Chlorophyceae. The ITS primers sequenced only 3 strains and the UCP primer failed to amplify any strain. We tested two pairs of primers for rbcL and the best pair provided sequences for 10 strains whereas the second one provided sequences for only 7 strains. The pair of primers for the tufA gene presented good results for Chlorophyceae, successfully sequencing 21 strains and recovering the expected phylogeny relationships within the class. Thus, the tufA marker stands out as a good choice to be used as molecular marker for the class.

  • Like many other mechanical dynamic systems, flexible manipulator systems experience stiction or sticking friction, which may cause input-dependent instabilities. Manipulator performance can be enha nced by identifying friction but it is hard and expensive to measure friction by direct and precise sensing of contact displacements and forces. This study addresses the problem of identifying flexible manipulator joint friction. A dynamic model of a two-link flexible manipulator based upon finite element and Lagrange's method is constructed. The dynamic model includes the effects of joint compliances and actuator dynamics. Friction is also incorporated in the dynamic model to account for stick-slip at the joints. Next, the friction parameters are to be determined. The identification problem is posed as an optimization problem to be solved using nonlinear programming methods. A genetic algorithm is used to increase the convergence rate and the chances of finding the global optimum. The identified friction parameters are experimentally verified and it is expected that the identification technique is applicable to a system parameter identification problem associated with a wide class of nonlinear systems.

  • Ship identification systems currently employed provide the underwater sound analysis, analyzed data saving and user interface with comparison function. But final analysis and identification depend only on experts. Therefore, the reliability of these identification systems relies on user's ability on information recognition. This paper presents the method of recognition for the purpose of providing the basic data for an automatic ship class identification. we get the underwater sounds using the PC. We use Matlab in order to reduce ambient noises, take out an acoustic characteristics using the pattern recognition, and classify the ships.

  • 본 논문은 스마트기기용 선박 안전 모니터링 시스템을 위한 AIS(Automatic Identification System) 메시지 처리 방법과 AIS-PPWC(Pilot Plug to Wi-fi Converter) 개발에 대한 내용을 다룬다.

  • This comparative study on the confucian characteristics of the space for men on the upper-class house took two approaches. Firstly, even though Korea and China accepted same Confucianism, they developed their own Confucian cultures and differentiated house types. Therefore, the process of developing various type of house can be observed as to adopting Confucianism. Secondly, identification of each country can be appeared by looking into the house developing process. Preceding studies about traditional houses of Korea and China usually focused on style analysis. However, this study approaches to house arrangement through understanding the base of each culture and people.

  • Radio frequency identification (RFID) is an emerging wireless communication technology which allows objects to be identified automatically. The tag anti-collision is a significant issue for fast identifying tags due to the shared wireless channel between tags and the reader during communication. The EPCglobal Class-1 Generation-2 which uses Q algorithm for the anti-collision is widely used in many applications such as consumer electronic device and supply chain. However, the increasing application of EPCglobal Class-1 Generation-2 which requires the dynamic environment makes the efficiency decrease critically. Furthermore, its frame length (size) determination and frame termination lead to the suboptimal efficiency. A new anti-collision algorithm is proposed to deal with the two problems for large-scale RFID systems. The algorithm has higher performance than the Q algorithm in the dynamic environment. Some simulations are given to illustrate the performance.

  • This study aimed to understand students' learning in elementary science classes in terms of participatory perspective. Participatory perspective is based on the participationist views on learning. Based on the participatory perspective, this study used two concepts of participationism: 'the changes of learning on commognition' of Sfard (2007) and 'the identity' of Wenger (1998/2007). Based on these concepts, four episodes of an elementary science class were analyzed. The results showed that students carried out their learning from objective-level learning to meta-level learning. And students defined who they are by identifying and negotiating scientific meaning during the learning. These results showed students become members of science community through their participations in science class.

  • The main purposes of this study investigate as a cultural brand Oriental Medicine Cosmetics which has identification what images building up and which brand strategies are enforced refer to brand images of market. Follow this purpose, we want to investigate a concept of "Oriental Medicine Treatment" can become a brand or not through the Cosmetics. According to this purpose, we want to investigate that a concept of "Oriental Medicine" will be able to be Brand through the cosmetics. The Brand is emphasized the cultural value more than price and quality of the product. In case of "Oriental Medicine Cosmetics", above-mentioned fact is more important. Because "Oriental Medicine Cosmetics" is hard to divide into it's physical property and cultural character. What we want to comprehend through this investigation is, point out limitations of traditional marketing and the strategy of brand marketing which is possible to apply both the character and the history of "Oriental Medicine Cosmetics". Most important facts for this model, first, search for intermediately meanings for identification of "Oriental Medicine Cosmetics". Second, make a detailed plans after included the strategy of marketing communication at the inner part of cultural meanings. Should have done that, brand strategy and public relation tactics are composed in order identifiably with cultural. Finally, brand selling is able to move through the dimensional class. But it is necessary powerful mega brand for making a different level exceeding it's class.
