대도시 주변 면소재지 중심가로 경관분석을 위한 기초 연구 - 광주광역시 인근 10개 소재지를 중심으로 - (A Basic Research on the Streetscape in Rural Town Around Large Cities - Focused on 10 Small Towns near Gwangju Metropolitan City -)

  • As a portal to rural town, Myeon near large cities is expected to represent image of the rural area. But, the landscape are changing rapidly due to development pressure and to the expansion of the transportation network. For visitors and transit traffic, Recognizing that the characteristics of the streetscape is an important task for the vitalization of the rural district. In particular, it was found that the visual quantity of the central street in the location of the town was closely related to the preference of the streetscape, and the visual quantity of trees and the visual quantity of the building showed an inverse relationship of + and - respectively. Since this is not a simple ratio of the sky to the building, but a relative factor, the possibility of landscape improvement can be improved through management of public facilities or green spaces and maintenance of open spaces or gaps between buildings. It seems that it is necessary to secure separate means for the management of the architectural landscape, such as the establishment of a special landscape plan or establishment of ordinances.

  • 글로벌화라는 세계적인 흐름 속에 각국의 도시들은 각 도시의 인지도와 이미지를 제고시키기 위해 도시경관의 정체성을 확립하고자 노력을 기울이고 있으며 이러한 흐름 속에 서울도 도시경관의 정체성을 확보하기 위한 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 그러나 일부 도시경관의 문제점 파악과 그 개선방향에 대한 연구가 주류를 이루고 있어 현재 구축된 도시경관 자체의 정체성을 확보하는 연구는 아직 미진한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 인터넷 설문조사를 수행하여 인지도 및 인식 차이를 기반으로 도시경관을 분석하고 이를 시각화하는 분석틀을 제안한다. 본 분석틀의 가장 핵심이 되는 도시경관에 대한 인식 및 인지도 차이 분석은 설문조사의 응답에서 추출한 정답률과 명답률에 의해 이루어지며 시각화는 이들의 상관관계를 통해 도출되는 정확률을 도식화하는 방법으로 수행된다.

Relations between Scenic Desirability and Landscape Component of the Copse in the City Park

  • Civic participation in managing the work of a park is a natural experience, and urban culture has a role in forming and communicating ideas. However, when it comes to managing a copse, there is no clear scenic image. In this study, my intention was to determine a desirable scene involving a copse and suggest a target image for managing work from a scenic perspective. I selected 12 photographs and listed 10 pairs of adjectives that were judged to reflect the effect produced by the copse scene using the repertory grid development technique. In addition, I performed a scenic evaluation using the semantic differential(SD) method with each pair of adjectives. Factor analysis was performed based on questionnaire survey results, such that the scenic structure of the copse had a clear definition. In addition, the physical characteristics of the photographs were analyzed using Adobe Photoshop 6.0 and the correlations between the results of the questionnaire survey were understood using multiple regression analysis. A desirable scenic image of the copse became clear through this process and I was able to suggest various options of scenic images. Taking the aspects of urban culture into consideration, park improvement projects(including their planning stages) should be implemented by involving residents, which will lead to further development of park planning and maintenance theories and projects giving due consideration to residents' opinions.

Actual Situation Analysis of Walking Environment in Chongqing, China - Case Studies of First Experimental Elementary School and Zaozilanya Elementary School -

  • This study is about the investigation of the walking environment of the First Experimental Elementary School in Shapingba District of Chongqing City and the Zaozilanya Elementary School in Yuzhong District and the analysis of the pedestrian's consciousness. The improvement plan is obtained by comparing and analyzing the walking environment around the school. The survey results are as follows. According to the survey results of the walking environment around the school, the sidewalks of the two schools are relatively narrow, and there are more pedestrians crossing the road. There is a phenomenon of parking in both schools. The phenomenon of parking in Zaozilanya Elementary School is even more serious. In investigating the most important elements of the school's pedestrian environment, the setting of the signpost, the setting of the crosswalk and signal lights, the setting of the fence, the setting of the vehicle's deceleration facilities, and the control of the school gate are all necessary. Therefore, in order to create a safe and comfortable improvement plan for the surrounding environment of the school, first of all, in the improvement of the facilities around the school, the setting of the fence, the setting of the speed bump, the improvement of the crosswalk and the signal light. Second, in terms of restrictions, the scope of protection around the school needs to be expanded, and restrictions on parking and restrictions on vehicle traffic need to be implemented. Third, in terms of education and publicity, it is not only necessary to provide safety guidance for students to go to school, but also to provide drivers with driving safety education and publicity.

열수지를 활용한 서울시 열환경 개선을 위한 공간 유형화 (Spatial Typification based on Heat Balance for Improving Thermal Environment in Seoul)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the spatial types for thermal environment improvement considering heat flux and its spatial context through empirical orthodox formulas. First, k-means clustering was used to classify values of three kinds of heat flux - latent, sensible and storage heat. Next, from the k-means clustering, we defined a type of thermal environment (type LHL) where improvement is needed for more comfortable and pleasant thermal environment in the city, among the eight types. Lastly, we compared and analyzed the characteristics of each classified thermal environmental types based on land cover types. From the study, we found that the ratio of impervious surfaces, roads, and buildings of the type LHL is higher than those of the type HLH (relatively thermal comfort environment). In order to improve the thermal environment, the following contents are proposed to urban planners and designers depending on the results of the study. a) Increase the green zone rate by 10% to reduce sensible heat; b) Reduce the percentage of impermeable surfaces and roads by 10% ; c) Latent heat increases when water and green spaces are expanded. This study will help to establish a minimum criterion for a land cover rate for the improvement of the urban thermal environment and a standard index for the thermal environmental improvement can be derived.

지속가능한 발전을 위한 통합적인 도시 평가 (An Integrated Assessment of Urban for Sustainable Development)

  • The purpose of this study is to assess the sustainability in 45 cities of all over Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk using weights and assessment system developed in leading research. The materials of assessment used statistical data and spatial data were standardized for the systematic result. The assessment score was established using the normal distribution from 25 to 125 for removal of the very smallest and maximum value. According to the results, Tongyeong was assessed the highest by 82.5 score in environmental sustainability index. In economical sustainability index, Pohang, Gumi, Changwon, Yangsan were more than 79 score but Busan, Daegu, Andong were less than 70 score. Ulsan, Geoje, Yangsan were assessed higher in society-institutional sustainability index and Jinju, Munkyeong, Changnyeong were showed higher than other cities by more 79 score in quality of life(QOL)'s sustainability index. In case of integrated sustainability index, Jinju that was the highest sustainability in QOL was assessed by first city. However, Ulsan was assessed the lowest city among others. Therefore cities which have high sustainability will prepare a politic investment program for maintaining current conditions. Cities which have low sustainability will grasp closely the environmental characteristics of urban and present the improvement direction through monitoring continuously. Overall, these results can be used as tools to assess the current cities and predict the future one. It is also necessary to establish a systematic urban planning for livable and sustainable city.

가로공간 보행증진을 위한 보행만족도 평가 - 행정중심복합도시 1지구 상업·주거지역을 대상으로 - (Satisfaction Evaluation for the Pedestrian Improvement of Street Spaces - Focused on the Commercial and Residential Areas in the First District of Administrative-Centered City -)

  • 여성, 아이, 노인, 장애인 등 보행약자를 위한 보행친화가로를 조성하기 위하여, 차량 중심에서 보행자 중심으로 바뀌고 있는 도시환경변화의 패러다임을 반영시켜야 하며, 이를 통해 도시 가로의 보행환경의 질을 높이고, 보편적 이동권을 확보하여 사회통합을 유도해야 한다. 본 연구는 세종특별자치시 행정중심복합도시 1지구에 위치한 상업 주거지역 주변의 가로공간을 대상으로 보행도로 현황을 분석하고 파악하여, 보행환경을 향상시킬 수 있는 보행증진방안을 제안하고자 수행하였다. 연구 대상지의 물리적 환경을 파악하기 위해 위성지도와 수치지도를 사용하였으며, 조사 지역의 기본자료에 대해서 정리하고, 가로 현황과 보행 환경에 대하여 현장 조사를 결과를 바탕으로 사용자에 대하여 의식과 만족도를 평가하기 위해 설문 조사를 진행하였다. 총 315부의 설문지가 분석되었으며, 조사 대상지 4곳의 보행서비스 수준은 모두 최상급인 A급이었으며, 녹지 시설의 배치도 비교적 충분한 것으로 파악되었다. 연구 분석 결과, 요인분석을 통해 영향력 있는 요인들은 높은 순서에 따라 디자인>편리성>가로수 및 휴게시설>안전성>안전 보호시설>교통 및 안내시설>연속성>노면 기본상태>쾌적성 이다. 주거지역: 교통 및 안내 시설>노면 기본 상태>쾌적성>편리성>연속성>디자인>조명 및 범죄 방지시설>안전성>가로수 및 휴게시설로 나타났다.

인공지반의 녹화에 의한 도시의 재생 (Urban Renewal with Green on Impermeable Surface)

  • How far of natural regeneration of the city and improvement on the urban environment will be possible in the replanting on the impermeable surface? The replanting of what kind of form will be obtained in order to realize it? The regeneration of the nature is possible, if it can be realized at the thin soil layer in which the result of being equivalent to the natural soil function. Using the light artificial soil with the water retentiveness, it is possible that green on the artificial ground reinforces the green skeleton of the city. The green of artificial ground improves the thermal ambience of the city and demonstrates stormwater runoff depression effect. It is necessary to built the landscape which continues with the surrounding green. Ecologically stabilizing green has the high amenity. The development of replanting technology of the artificial ground which fosters the city culture is desired.

창덕궁 전각권역의 해설 프로그램 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improvement of Commentary Program on the Building Concentration Area of the Changdeokgung Palace)

  • 본 연구는 창덕궁의 전각권역을 대상으로 건축과 조경에 대한 해설 프로그램의 개선 방안을 제시하는데 목적을 두었다. 연구 과정에서 해설 현장에 연구자가 참여하여 2회의 녹취를 시행하였다. 녹취자료를 통해 해설 시간과 내용을 분석하고 사실성과 현장과의 연계성 등의 적합성을 평가하였다. 또한 도면과 현장조사를 통해서 해설 및 관람 동선을 파악하고, 주요 시설물의 위치와 현황을 분석하였다. 현장조사와 분석을 통해서 건물과 이와 관련된 인물, 역사에 관한 사실과 일화가 해설에 담겨 있음을 확인하였다. 해설은 1시간 내에서 이루어지고 있었다. 그러나 해설 동선에 따라 배치된 건물과 외부공간 특히 전통조경시설에 관한 해설이 매우 부족함을 발견하였다. 또한 해설과 관람 개방이 필요한 구역도 있음을 확인하였다. 분석을 기반으로 해설 프로그램의 개선안을 작성하였다. 해설지점을 신규로 추가하고 기존 해설을 수정해서 건축물, 외부공간, 전통조경시설의 해설을 강화할 수 있도록 했다. 개선안에 대해 기존 해설의 속도로 낭독을 실시하여 소요시간을 검토하였다. 이를 통해서 개선안이 현행 해설 프로그램과 동일하게 운영될 수 있음을 확인하였다. 연구결과로 관람객들에게 양질의 해설 정보와 보다 더 흥미로운 경험을 제공할 수 있는 실질적인 개선방안을 제시한 것에 의의가 있다.

시가화지역 토지이용유형별 피복현황 분석을 통한 생태면적률 적용 방안 연구 (A Study on the Adaptation Method of Biotope Area Factor by Land-use Type in the Built-up Area)

  • The objective of this study is to analyze the propriety of the Biotope Area Factor's(BAF) application and propose an improvement plan. The BAP system, initially started by Seoul metropolitan city, is being settled in Korea. The BAF originated from the Biotop $Fl{\ddot{a}}chen$ Faktor(BFF) system of Berlin Germany. It was established as part of the Landscape Plan for the ecological function recovery in the high density built-up area with a sense of environmentally friendly urban management. The study compared the BAF's present condition of Ganddong-Gu, Seoul with Seoul's BAF system. Some problems appeared from the system application. Firstly, it may cause ecological damage if the site ranges are more than current BAF system limits. Secondly, the application of the current BAF system has the possibility of general redevelopment, but the partial improvement considering current standards of the high density built-up area's paving section is impossible. Lastly, division of the application object and application type are not divided well. In addition, the Seoul BAF which is currently applied across the board is based on the destruction of the natural area and low density built-up area. Accordingly, to improve these problems requires a complementary system protecting the ecological function prior to the application of the BAF and with restricted application to high density of BAF system built-up area.
