Although many classification models have been used to classify binary data, none of the classification models dominates all varying circumstances depending on the number of variables and the size of data(Asparoukhov and Krzanowski (2001)). This paper proposes a classification model which uses information on marginal distributions of sub-variables and its maximum entropy distribution. Classification experiments by using simulation are discussed.

Detecting outliers in a linear regression model eventually fails when similar observations are classified differently in a sequential process. In such circumstances, identifying clusters and applying certain methods to the clustered data can prevent a failure to detect outliers and is computationally efficient due to the reduction of data. In this paper, we suggest to implement a clustering procedure for this purpose and provide examples that illustrate the suggested procedure applied to the Hadi-Simonoff (1993) method, reverse Hadi-Simonoff method, and Gentleman-Wilk (1975) method.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the present condition and business convergence of TV home shopping markets. This study is focused on the current situation and promotion plans of TV home shopping markets to make it better. This thesis shows the distribution characteristic and circumstances of korean distribution market and share of market. Using analysis data, the conclusion of thesis is that TV home shopping company will increase their business sector by appling T-commerce under the Ubiqutious era.

In this study, we analyze space alternation, which is shown pre-development and post-development in the reconstruction apartment. We point out problems in terms of the city and dwelling environment, and in looking for drawing up a plan for improvement as well. As a result of our research, we offer some important observations and conclusions. Ourdoor space of the site after the reconstruction caused inconvenience to the residents due to the plan for high-storeys, high-density, And the building shape and arrangement provide changeable conditions form line figures to variable figures due to courtyard patterns. The courtyard space changes into a parking area ; therefore the outdoor site gives worse circumstances.

The measures of leverage in linear regression has been extended to nonlinear regression models. We consider several curvature measures of nonlinearity in an estimation situation. The relationship between measures of leverage and statistical curvature are explored in nonlinear regression models. The circumstances under which the Jacobian leverage reduces to a tangent plane leverage are discussed in connection with the effective residual curvature of the nonlinear model.

Polarity correlation is a simplified version of the usual, having a possibility of real-time processing without any reduction of precision. In this paper, its applicability in deterministic signals is first explored generally, by theoretical or numerical analysis of four kinds of the typical signals. Then, based on the results, its two applications are proposed, that are detection and demodulation of FSK signals in digital communication, and time delay estimasion in ultrasonic A-mode measurement. The effectiveness of the proposed applications is confirmed by its superior implementation ability and the results of numerical experiments under practical circumstances.

A two-dimensional positioning system by use of an M-array is proposed. An M-array pattern, which is known as one of the two-dimensional pseudorandom array, is attached on an object to be positioned. The M-array pattern is observed by a TV camera and crosscorrelated with the reference M-array. The maximum of the two-dimensional crosscorrelation function is sought by two-dimensional servo system. This method of positioning can be used in very noisy circumstances.

A robust monitor AGC(Automatic Gauge Control) system for a hot strip mill plant of POSCO Is designed by minimizing the H.inf. norm of a so called mixed sensitivity function. In order to solve the mininizatlon problem, a polynomial approach proposed by Kwakernaak[5] is used. The controller performance is tested by a computer simulation under various circumstances.

Wireless technology appears promising as a method to promote group performance in circumstances dependent on time, but not member proximity. However, the success of wireless technology in group decision-making situations has not yet been proven. This paper seeks to learn whether wireless technology affects the performance of group decision-making tasks that should be resolved urgently and/or sources of idea are disconnected with on-line network.
