Recently Digital-TachoGraph(DTG) was mounted mandatorily in commercial vehicles(Taxi, Bus, etc.). DTG records accurate and detailed information of the running state of vehicles related to traffic accident, such as Time, Distance, Velocity, RPM, Brake ON/OFF, GPS, Azimuth, Acceleration. Thus those standardized data can play an important role in traffic accident investigation and reconstruction. To develope the accurate and objective method using the DTG data for the reconstruction of traffic accident, we had conducted several tests such as driving test, high speed circuit test, braking test, slalom test at Korea Automobile Testing & Research Institute(KATRI), and collision test at Korea Automobile insurance repair Research and Training center(KART) with the vehicle equipped with several DTG. Development of the program which enables the reading and analysis of the DTG data was followed. In the experiments, we have found velocity error, RPM error, brake signal error and azimuth error in several products, and also non-continuous event data. The cause of these errors was deduced to be related to the correction factor, the durability of electronic parts and the algorithm.
This paper presents the research of Low Pass Filter(hereinafter called "LPF") which is the part of Chopper Gate Control Unit on the electric rolling stock. Chopper Gate Control Unit controling the propulsive equipments of electric rolling stock consists of several electronic parts, PCB, Power Supply, Gate Circuit Amp, Freon Cooling Device, and has been used the parts made by japan manufacturer Mitsubish. But these parts recently have been more broken down and slow down performance because of long-term use, deterioration. Most of the malfunctions are low performance of LPF. Furthermore, it is physically impossible to repair LPF. Because it is molding type part and no longer manufactured. Also it needs high cost for custom-building. Therefore, it is now making up for through self-developed LPF and operating on Busan metro 1st after on-board testing. This research performed the PS Pice simulation testing, analysis of self-developed LPF performance and the wave form characteristic by multi-function synthesizer, spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope.
In the normally, exit sign is always lighting on status by the connected to normal electrical source. So, there are happened to rise of the economical cost such as power consumption, maintenances and repair replacement of lamp etc. This paper are study on the new exit sign circuits by using high efficiency LED that is available for remote control and reduceible to power consumption, maintenance cost by the way of compensation fluorescent and incandescent lamps. As a results on the study, exit sign lamp is capable of control and supervisory in trigger angle by the remote control switch, widely and easily. Demand for high power motors is rapidly increasing as the 4th industry and convergence technology has recently emerged. In order to produce high-strength permanent magnets, the magnets used for magnetization have been increased from DC 300V in the 1970s to DC 2.5kV in the 2010s, Up to DC 10kV in the 2030s, It is expected that higher voltage will be used to magnetize. However, in the case of a magnetizer using an existing electric signal control device, it is necessary to use a control device with a high-voltage insulation function in case a high voltage used for magnetization is leaked to the control device. If a short circuit accident occurs, the controller must be shut down and serious problems such as excessive repair costs arise. In this study, a control system adopting optical communication method instead of electric signal control method is proposed to prevent leakage currents in high-voltage magnetizer. We design a transmitter(Tx) and a receiver(Rx) device for the optical communication control device and implemented a prototype connecting the optical cable. In order to demonstrate the utility of high-voltage magnetizer using the optical communication control device, we analyzed the initial cost and the yearly cost for the years to analyze the net present value. As a result, In the case of the low-voltage magnetizer, the electric signal control method cost less, As the operating voltage of the magnetizer becomes higher. It is confirmed that it takes less cost when the optical communication control device is used.

It was constructed safety management network system of various infrastructure to improve efficient management and operation for many infrastructure. Integrated safety management network system of infrastructure consisted of the real-time structural health monitoring system of each infrastructure, integrated control center, measured data transmission using i of tet web-based, collecting data using sf ver, early alarm system which the dangerous event of infrastructure occurred. Integrated control center consisted of conference room, control room to manage and analysis the data, server room to present the measured data and to collect the raw data. Early alarm system proposed realization of warning and response within 5 minute or less through development of sensor-based progress report and propagation automation system using the media such as MMS, VMS, EMS, FMS, SMS and web services of report and propagation. Based on this, the most effective u-Infrastructure Safety Management System is expected to be stably established at a less cost, thus making people's life more comfortable. Information obtained from such systems could be useful for maintenance or structural safety evaluation of existing structures, rapid evaluation of conditions of damaged structures after an earthquake, estimation of residual life of structures, repair and retrofitting of structures, maintenance, management or rehabilitation of historical structures.

The causes of motor burnout include overload, phase loss, restraint, interlayer short circuit, winding ground fault, instantaneous overvoltage, and the rotor contacting the stator, leading to insulation breakdown, leading to breakdown or electrical accidents. Therefore, equipment failure causes not only loss due to cost required for equipment maintenance/repair, but also huge economic loss due to productivity decrease due to process stop because the process itself including the motor is stopped. The current level of technology for diagnosing motor failures uses vibration, heat, and power analysis methods, but there is a limit to analyzing the problems only after a considerable amount of time has passed according to the failure. Therefore, in this paper, a device and algorithm for measuring insulation resistance using DC AMP signal was applied to an industrial motor to solve this problem. And by following the insulation resistance state value, we propose a diagnosis of deterioration and failure of the motor that cannot be solved by the existing method.

Background: Surgery for Stanford type A aortic dissection shows a high operative mortality rate and frequent postoperative brain injury. This study was designed to find out the risk factors leading to operative mortality and brain injury after surgical repair in patients with type A aortic dissection. Material and Method: One hundred and eleven patients with type A aortic dissection who underwent surgical repair between February, 1995 and January 2005 were reviewed retrospectively. There were 99 acute dissections and 12 chronic dissections. Univariate and multivariate analysis were performed to identify risk factors of operative mortality and brain injury. Resuit: Hospital mortality occurred in 6 patients (5.4%). Permanent neurologic deficit occurred in 8 patients (7.2%) and transient neurologic deficit in 4 (3.6%). Overall 1, 5, 7 year survival rate was 94.4, 86.3, and 81.5%, respectively. Univariate analysis revealed 4 risk factors to be statistically significant as predictors of mortality: previous chronic type III dissection, emergency operation, intimal tear in aortic arch, and deep hypothemic circulatory arrest (DHCA) for more than 45 minutes. Multivariate analysis revealed previous chronic type III aortic dissection (odds ratio (OR) 52.2), and DHCA for more than 45 minutes (OR 12.0) as risk factors of operative mortality. Pathological obesity (OR 12.9) and total arch replacement (OR 8.5) were statistically significant risk factors of brain injury in multivariate analysis. Conclusion: The result of surgical repair for Stanford type A aortic dissection was good when we took into account the mortality rate, the incidence of neurologic injury, and the long-term survival rate. Surgery of type A aortic dissection in patients with a history of chronic type III dissection may increase the risk of operative mortality. Special care should be taken and efforts to reduce the hypothermic circulatory arrest time should alway: be kept in mind. Surgeons who are planning to operate on patients with pathological obesity, or total arch replacement should be seriously consider for there is a higher risk of brain injury.
A 14-year-old male patient with previous surgical repair of tetralogy of Fallot was admitted with hemodynamically significant ventricular tachycardia (VT). On preoperative electrophysiologic study (EPS), the morphology of documented VT was RBBB of vertical axis with 320 msec cycle length. The endocardial mapping during VT delineated the origin of VT at right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT), where the patch was attached. The clinical VT had a clockwise reentry circuit around the patch with the earliest activation at the same site seen during the preoperative EPS. The previously placed right ventricular outflow patch and fibrous tissue were removed. During a postoperative EPS, it was no longer possible to induce the VT. Ventricular tachycardia following repair of tetralogy of Fallot seen in this patient was caused by a macro-reentry around the right ventricular outflow patch. We were able to ablate the VT with the aid of a detailed mapping of its epicardial activation sequence.

With progress in industrialization, facilities for generating, delivering, and receiving high levels of electric power are in great demand. The scale of electric power equipment is increasing in both size and complexity. This has contributed to the development of our modern, high-tech and information-based society. However, if the generation of electric power is suspended due to unexpected accidents at power facilities or power stations, a range of equipment the operations of which are dependent on electric power can be damaged, causing substantial socioeconomic losses in an industrial society. A great deal of time and money would be expended to repair damaged facilities at a power station, causing enormous economic loss.In order to detect the deterioration processes of power cables, and to prevent the destruction of power cables, the operation status of power cables should be monitored on a regular basis. We have installed equipment at Korea Western Power Co., Ltd., located in Taean, in order to predict and prevent the destruction of power cables. This is an entirely new installation: a set of equipment invented specifically to measure the insulation resistance of power cables. Installation of the equipment does not cause the flow of earth fault current. This ensures accurate measurement of insulation resistance values by the equipment. We have been studying this equipment in order to develop preventive technology that would show the deterioration processes of power cables.
