신뢰 영역 검출 및 시차 지도 재생성 기반 경계 보존 스테레오 매칭 (Boundary-preserving Stereo Matching based on Confidence Region Detection and Disparity Map Refinement)

  • 본 논문에서는 신뢰 영역을 검출하고 이를 이용하여 미스 매치된 영역에 대한 홀을 채우고 적응적으로 시차 지도를 조정하여 경계를 보존하는 스테레오 정합 방법을 제안한다. 초기 시차 지도 추정을 위해 비용 계산은 색상(CIE Lab)과 경사도(Gradient)를 결합하여 이용하였고, 두 번의 비용 결합 함수를 적용 하여 시차 지도를 추정 하였다. 화소 불일치 영역을 검출하기 위해 왼쪽/오른쪽 교차 검사를 수행 하였다. 두 픽셀 위치에서의 차이가 1보다 크면 폐색 영역이거나 잘못된 매칭으로 판단하고 왼쪽 시차 지도에 표시 하였다. 초기 시차 지도에서 깊이 불연속성으로 인한 에러값을 구별하기 위해 Mean-shift segmentation을 사용하여 신뢰 지도를 구하고 초기 시차 지도 영상에서의 에러값을 줄이기 위해 신뢰 지도 결과를 이용하여 시차 지도 조정을 수행한다. 실험 결과 제안하는 방법이 기존의 다른 방법들과 비교하여 비교적 높은 정확도를 보이는 시차 지도를 생성 하는 것을 보였다.

백색 LED 응용을 위한 YAG:Ce3+ 형광체의 광학특성 (Photoluminescent Properties of YAG:Ce3+ Phosphors for the application of white LED)

  • GaN계 청색 여기용 광원으로 최적인 $Y_{3}AI_{5}O_{12}:Ce$계 phosphor를 고상반응으로 제조하여 white LED용 yellow 형광체로 신뢰성을 검토하였다. 출발시료는 metal hydrous oxide로 합성한 분말에 활성제로서 $Ce^{3+}$ 이온의 농도를 변화시키면서 로내의 온도와 시간을 변수로 하여 형광체를 제조하였다. 그 결과 $1650^{\circ}C$에서 2시간 소성시킨 분말의 경우, 입자 크기가 $3{\mu}m$이하인 순수 YAG 형광체를 얻을 수 있었으며 $Ce^{3+}$이온농도를 변화시킨 결과 0.03~0.05mol% 일 때가 가장 우수하여 해외제품수준을 능가하는 우수한 발광특성을 나타내었다. 이때 CIE1931 색좌표 값은 x=0.385, y=0.433으로서 green yellow 색을 나타내었다.

The Impact of Ripening Time on Technological Quality Traits, Chemical Change and Sensory Characteristics of Dry-cured Loin

  • The effect of ripening time on the technological quality traits, fatty acid compositions and sensory characteristics of dry-cured loin was studied. Pork loins (n = 102) at 24 h post-mortem were used to produce dry-cured loins. The dry-cured loins were assessed at 30, 60, and 90 days of ripening for the aforementioned characteristics. Our results showed that the water activity ($a_w$) decreased (p<0.05) up to 60 days and did not change thereafter. The lipid oxidation and weight loss levels significantly (p<0.05) increased with increased ripening time. The Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage (CIE) $L^*$ decreased for 90 days while CIE $a^*$ increased for 60 days and did not increase thereafter. More noticeably, the levels of most of unsaturated fatty acids and total polyunsaturated fatty acids significantly decreased as increasing ripening time up to 90 days. The 30 days-ripened loins had lower (p<0.05) color, flavor and overall acceptability scores than the loins ripened for 60 and 90 days, however, no differences in sensory traits occurred between the 60 and 90 day-ripened samples. Based on the results obtained in the present study, it is suggested that the ripening duration between 30 and 60 days could be more appropriate for producing dry-cured loin product with higher quality and economic benefits.

색 영역의 확장을 위한 LED 구동회로에 대한 연구 (Study of a LED Driver for Extension of Color Gamut)

  • 본 논문에서는 LED의 색 영역을 확장하기 위해서 Hybrid LED 구동회로와 제어 기법을 제안하였다. 제안된 Hybrid LED 구동회로는 고 전류에서는 스위칭 레귤레이션 동작을 하고 저 전류에서는 리니어 레귤레이션 동작을 함으로써 LED에 일정한 정 전류를 공급하였다. 또한 고 전류와 저 전류의 크기를 각각 CC 제어기법과 PWM 제어기법으로 제어하였다. 제안된 구동회로와 제어 기법으로 RGB LED 각각의 전류를 가변하였고, 전류가 최대 전류대비 2%까지 선형적으로 제어됨 실험을 통해 확인하였다. 게다가 출력된 광색을 CIE1931 색도좌표로 측정하였다. 그 결과 기존의 표현할 수 없었던 색이 균일하게 출력됨을 확인하였으며, 제안된 구동회로와 제어 기법이 저 전류제어가 가능함으로 색 영역 확장이 가능함을 증명하였다.

Characteristics of Bovine Teeth Whitening in Accordance with Gas Environments of Atmospheric Pressure Nonthermal Plasma Jet

  • Currently, teeth whitening method which is applicable to dental surgery is that physician expertises give medical treatment to teeth directly dealed with a high concentration of hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide. If hydrogen peroxide concentration is too high for treatment of maximized teeth whitening effect [1], it is harmful to the human body [2]. To the maximum effective and no harmful teeth whitening effect in a short period of time at home, we have observed the whitening effect using carbamide peroxide (15%) and a low-temperature atmospheric pressure plasma jet which is regulated by the Food and Drug Administration. The gas supplied conditions of the non-thermal atmospheric pressure plasma jet was with the humidified (0.6%) gas in nitrogen or air at gas flow rate of 1000 sccm. Also, the measurement of chemical species from the jet was carried out using the optical emission spectroscopy (OES), the evidence of increased reactive oxygen species compared to non-humidified plasma jet. We have found that the whitening effect of the plasma is very excellent through this experiment, when bovine teeth are treated in carbamide peroxide (15%) and water vapor (0.2 to 1%). The brightness of whitening teeth was increased up to 2 times longer in the CIE chromaticity coordinates. The colorimetric spectrometer (CM-3500d) can measure color degree of whitening effect.

색상 그룹핑과 클러스터링을 이용한 회화 작품의 자동 팔레트 추출 (Automatic Color Palette Extraction for Paintings Using Color Grouping and Clustering)

  • 화풍을 효과적이고 객관적으로 기술하는 한 방법으로 팔레트 추출에 대한 수학적 모델을 제시한다. 이 모델에서는 팔레트를 허용 오차 범위 내에서 회화 작품의 영상을 표현할 수 있는 주요 색상의 집합으로 정의하고 색상 그룹핑과 주요 색상 추출의 두 단계를 거처 팔레트 색상을 추출한다. 색상 그룹핑은 주어진 회화에 대해 적응적으로 색의 분해능을 조절하여 각 회화 작품을 이루는 기초 색상을 추출하며 다음 주요 색상 추출 단계에서 이것과 이것이 차지하는 영역에 대한 정보를 바탕으로 K-Means 클러스터링 알고리즘을 적용하여 팔레트를 얻는다. 실험을 통해 유명 화가의 작품을 대상으로 RGB와 CIE LAB 색상 모델을 사용하여 추출한 팔레트를 3차원 색 공간에 표시하였다. 팔레트 색상의 거리를 사용한 화가 분류 실험과 실사 영상의 색채 변환 실험 통해 이 방법이 화풍 분석과 그래픽 분야에 적용될 수 있음을 확인하였다.

유기셀레늄강화버섯 폐배지의 급여수준에 따른 거세한우 채끝육의 육질특성 (Effects of Organic Selenium Supplementation on Meat Quality of Hanwoo Steers)

  • The current study was conducted to investigate the effect of organic selenium in mushroom cultured media (MCM) on beef quality. Each five of 20 Hanwoo steers(20 - 24 month, approximately 613 kg) were assigned to four levels of the selenium content(O.l, 0.3, 0.6, 0.9 dry matter based ppm), and the feeding treatments were enforced for 12 weeks. The results showed that m. longissimus from the 0.1 ppm feeding supplementation had greatly higher intramuscular fat content than other treatments(13.1 %). In meat color, the 0.1 ppm treatment showed the lowest lightness(CIE $L^*$)(P< 0.05) and had a tendency to have lower redness(CIE $a^*$). The treatment had no noticeable effect on moisture, protein, and ash content, cooking loss, water-holding capacity and purge loss. The 0.3 ppm treatment resulted in the toughest meat(assessed by WB-shear force) with 4.54 kg / inch', while other groups showed a similar toughness ranging from 3.3 to 3.7 kg/ inchl . Sensory characteristics in juiciness and flavor intensity had a tendency of increasing as organic selenium concentration increased, but tenderness was not influenced by the contents. The result indicated that the organic selenium feeding affects meat qualities to different extent, and further study is required to examine anti-oxidant effect of selenium in vivo.

Egg Shell and Oyster Shell Powder as Alternatives for Synthetic Phosphate: Effects on the Quality of Cooked Ground Pork Products

  • This study aimed to determine the optimal ratio of natural calcium powders (oyster shell and egg shell calcium) as synthetic phosphate replacers in pork products. Ground pork samples were subjected to six treatments, as follows: control (-) (no phosphate added), control (+) (0.3% phosphate blend added), treatment 1 (0.5% oyster shell calcium powder added), treatment 2 (0.3% oyster shell calcium powder and 0.2% egg shell calcium powder added), treatment 3 (0.2% oyster shell calcium powder and 0.3% egg shell calcium powder added), and treatment 4 (0.5% egg shell calcium powder added). The addition of natural calcium powders resulted in an increase in the pH values of meat products, regardless of whether they were used individually or mixed. The highest cooking loss was observed (p<0.05) in the negative control samples, whereas the cooking loss in samples with natural calcium powder added was similar (p>0.05) to that in the positive control samples. CIE $L^*$ values decreased as the amount of added egg shell calcium powder increased. CIE $a^*$ values were higher (p<0.05) in samples containing natural calcium powder (treatments 1, 2, 3, and 4) than in the positive control. The combination of oyster shell calcium powder and egg shell powder (treatment 2 or 3) was effective for the improvement of textural properties of the pork products. The findings show that the combined use of 0.2% oyster shell calcium and 0.3% egg shell calcium should enable the replacement of synthetic phosphate in the production of cooked pork products with desirable qualities.

GDI 호스트-도펀트 형광체를 이용한 청색 OLED의 제작과 특성 평가 (Fabrication and Characterization of Blue OLED using GDI Host-Dopant Phosphors)

  • The blue emitting OLEDs using GDI host-dopant phosphors have been fabricated and characterized. In the device fabrication, 2-TNATA [4,4',4'-tris(2-naphthylphenyl-phenylamino)- triphenylamine] as a hole injection material and NPB [N,N'-bis(1-naphthyl)-N,N'-diphenyl-1,1'-biphenyl-4,4'-diamine] as a hole transport material were deposited on the ITO(indium thin oxide)/glass substrate by vacuum evaporation. And then, blue color emission layer was deposited using GDI602 as a host material and GDI691 as a dopant. Finally, small molecule OLEDs with structure of ITO/2-TNATA/NPB/GDI602:GDI691/Alq3/LiF/Al were obtained by in-situ deposition of Alq3, LiF and Al as the electron transport material, electron injection material and cathode, respectively. Blue OLEDs fabricated in our experiments showed the color coordinate of CIE(0.14, 0.16) and the maximum power efficiency of 1.1 lm/W at 11 V with the peak emission wavelength of 464 nm.

Quality properties of various dietary fibers as isolated soy protein (ISP) replacements in pork emulsion systems

  • This study aimed to investigate the possibility of replacing the isolated soy protein (ISP) as a binding agent for wheat, oat, and bamboo shoot dietary fibers. Dietary fibers and ISP were added to manufacturing process of pork emulsion, respectively, for investigate quality properties. Moisture contents of pork emulsion added wheat fiber-treated group was significantly higher than ISP-treated group (p < 0.05), and protein contents of dietary fiber-treated group were significantly lower than ISP-treated group (p < 0.05). Raw pork emulsion CIE a value of oat, bamboo shoot fiber-treated group were significantly lower than ISP-treated group (p < 0.05). After cooking pork emulsion CIE L value of dietary fiber-treated group were significantly higher than ISP-treated group (p < 0.05). Raw pork emulsion water holding capacity (WHC) of wheat, oat fiber-treated group were significantly higher than ISP-treated group (p < 0.05), and cooked pork emulsion WHC of wheat, bamboo shoot fiber-treated group were higher than ISP-treated group (p < 0.05). Cooking loss of ISP-treated group was significantly higher than dietary fiber-treated group (p < 0.05), and viscosity of ISP-treated group was lower than dietary fiber-treated group. Hardness of ISP-treated group was significantly lower than dietary fiber-treated group (p < 0.05); however, cohesiveness of ISP-treated group was significantly higher than dietary fiber-treated group (p < 0.05). In conclusion, dietary fiber added as binding agent to manufacturing process of pork emulsion was suitable to replacing ISP.
