IPA에 의한 추자지역의 도서관광 선택 속성 분석 (Analysis on Selection Attributes of Chujado as Island Tourism using IPA)

  • This study was focused on tourists visiting the Chujado, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province as island tourism. First, this study collected the selection attributes visiting Chujado from literature review and applied the IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis)with the attributes to this research. The results are as follows: First, in the area I, the attributes (climates, exotic atmosphere, tourism information, reservation service, a variety of food, clean food etc.) both with high importance and high performance need to be kept continuously. And, in the area II, the IPA map showed that other attributes (accessibility, a variety of food, accommodation, affordable price etc) with high importance and low performance) need to be improved in the future time. These results can give the implications for establishing an appropriate policy of Chujado tourism development.

Amphipods(Crustacea: Malacostraca) fauna from Chujado Island in Korea

  • A faunal study on Amphipods belonging to the class Malacostraca was conducted 26-29 August 2021 at 12 sites in Chujado Island, Korea. This study found that 68 amphipod species in 39 genera, 19 families were living on Chujado Island. Among these 19 families, the family Caprellidae (20 species) showed the highest abundance. Ampithoidae (7 species) and Dexaminidae (6 species) were subdominant families. The species Stenothoe valida Dana, 1852 (found at 10 of 12 sites) was the most frequent and widespread species. Caprella scaura Templeton, 1836 was identified at 9 of 12 sites and had the highest frequency of appearance among 20 species of Caprellidae. Among the 68 species, Ampithoe waialua J.L. Barnard, 1970 and Melita nagatai Yamato, 1987 are newly recorded species in Korean fauna. These newly recorded species are fully illustrated and compared with related species. We provide an amphipod fauna in Chujado Island with a list, figures, and a table.

추자도 조간대 저서 대형무척추동물의 공간적 종다양성 (Spatial Species Diversity of Benthic Macroinvertebrates on the Intertidal Zone of Chujado , Cheju Islands)

  • A soudy on the distrobution and seasonal changes of the benthic macrovertebrates community was performed on the 5 intertidal rocky shores of Chujado in the Cheju-Channel during four seasons from March 1996 to February 1997.The macroinvertebrates identified in Chujado totally composed of 9 phyla, 18 classes, 38 orers, 147 species. The macroinvertebrates idetified according to the stations were 9 phyla, 138 species in Sinyangri(ST. 1); 8 phyla, 134 species in Younghungri(ST. 4);and 8 phyla, 131 species in Daeseori(ST. 5); The species diversities of the lower intertidal zones were higher than those of middle and upper intertidal zones, however, the seasonal appearance in number of species was not different among the stations. The vertically distributed dominant species in intertidal zone were; Nodifittorina exigua and Nerita japponica in the supralittoral zones; Monodonta labio labil and Buccinulum ferrea in the upper zones; Septifer keenae and Lunella coronata corensis in the middle zones; Purpura clavigara, S. keenae and Pomatoleios krausii in the submiddle zones; and Actinia mesembryanthemum, Tetracliata squamosa japonica and N. schrenckii in the lower zones. The intertidal community structures between Chujado and Cheju coast showed that Chujado composed of fewer number of species and lower value of species diversity and richness indices than Cheju coast.

A Taxonomic Study on Marine Sponges from Chujado Islands, Korea

  • A taxonomic study on the marine sponges was conducted with the materials collected from Chujado Island, Korea during the period June 2001 to May 2005 by SCUBA and hands. They were classified into 63 species, 31 genera, 25 families, seven orders in a class. Among them, Antho (Arcania) manarensis Carter, 1880 and Eurypon lendenfeldi Hentschel, 1912 were newly added to Korean Fauna. Two species, Biemna chujaensis and B. jeolmyongensis, were new to science.

추자도(제주도) 지역의 관속식물 (The vascular plants of Chujado Island (Jeju-do), Korea)

  • 본 연구는 제주도 제주시 추자면에 위치한 추자도의 관속식물상을 조사하기 위해 2013년 4월부터 동년 9월, 2018년 5월부터 동년 9월까지 총 11회에 걸쳐 현지조사를 수행하였다. 조사 결과 추자도의 관속식물은 총 97과 311속 481종 2아종 65변종 10품종의 558분류군이 조사되었다. 한반도 특산식물은 7분류군이며, 희귀식물은 8분류군이다. 식물구계학적등급종은 109분류군이었으며, 귀화식물은 62분류군으로 확인되었다. 추자도와 인접한 7개 지역과의 식물상 유사도는 생일도가 51.7%로 가장 높게 나타났다.

벌선의 항해학적 고찰 (A Study on the Navigation of Fishing Raft)

  • For the purpose of estimation of navigational method and ability about fishing raft, we have practical navigation of her from Chujado on Oct, 7 to Maryang-ri , Kangjin-kun, Jeonranman-do on Oct.10. The results obtained are as follow : 1. Ancient navigation of her is thought to over to an isolated island in the vicinity with a good informations and experiences. 2. Speed of her in outward voyage is 1.34 knots, but is varied with structure and shape of her and ability of fishing raftman. 3. The lee way(U) of her with sail of hight 2.5m and breadth about 1.2m according to windspeed(W) is U=$0.038{\times}W$ 4. We could estimate to take only three days to go over from Chujado to Maryang-ri, Kangjin-kun. Jeonranam-do by her with sail, and make a voyage total 55 miles for thirty-four hours and ten minutes i, e, mean speed is 1.6knots resulty.

추자도 마이크로그리드 구축에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Establishment of the Microgrid in Chujado Island)

  • 현재 국내 소규모 섬들은 주로 디젤발전기를 이용하여 전력을 공급하고 있다. 그러나 디젤발전기는 부하변동에 대한 속응성이 느리기 때문에 계통을 불안정하게 할 수 있고, 화석연료 사용에 의한 탄소가스 배출로 환경문제를 야기한다. 이러한 문제를 극복하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 주전원을 디젤발전기를 통하여 전력을 공급받고 있는 추자도에 태양광발전, 풍력발전, 에너지저장장치를 도입하여 최적의 마이크로그리드를 구축하는 방안을 제안한다. 이때 각 분산형 전원의 경제적 최적용량은 HOMER(Hybrid Optimization Model for Multiple Energy Resources) 프로그램을 이용하여 산정하였고, 이를 계통의 안정성을 분석할 수 있는 PSCAD/EMTDC(Power Systems Computer Aided Design/ Electromagnetic Transients including DC) 프로그램을 활용하여 제안한 마이크로그리드의 타당성을 입증한다.

  • 특히 한반도 주변해역의 해수면과 해수면온도의 상승률은 지구평균 상승률 보다 높다. 보통 해수면과 해수면온도는 여름철과 가을철에 높게 나타나고 봄과 겨울에는 낮은 분포를 보인다. 스펙트럼분석을 통해서 뚜렷한 연주기 성분이 나타났으며, 반년주기와 계절적 원인에 의한 주기 성분도 나타났다. 위성자료와 실측자료와의 비교에서 해수면은 연안에 위치한 묵호(0.323)를 제외하고는 추자도와 울릉도에서 각각 0.686, 0.780으로 높은 상관성을 나타냈으며, 해수면온도는 묵호, 추자도, 울릉도에서 각각 0.92, 0.894, 0.815로 모두 높은 상관성을 나타냈다. 해수면온도와 해수면간의 상관성 분석은 1993년에서 2000년까지 비교하였다. 그 결과 두 자료간의 상관성은 0.77정도로 나타났고, 해수면온도 값이 해수면 값보다 보통 1개월$\sim$3개월 정도 빠르게 나타났다.

Two New Species of the Halichondriidae(Demospongiae: Halichondrida) from Korea

  • Two new marine species of the family Halichondriidae, Ciocalypta sasuensis n. sp. and Epipolasis maraensis n. sp., are collected from Chujado Island and Jejudo Island, Korea during 2000-2005. Ciocalypta sasuensis n. sp. is closely related to C. penicillus(Bowerbank, 1864) in the type of shape and ectosomal skeleton. However, C. sasuensis n. sp. is larger than Ciocalypta penicillus. Epipolasis maraensis n. sp. is similar to E. suluensis(Wilson, 1925) in the type of skeleton, but is different in size of spicule and growth form. Its oxeas and raphide are smaller than E. suluensis's. The growth form of this new species is semispherical and massive, but E. suluensis is lamellated.

Two Species of Callyspongiidae (Demospongiae: Haplosclerida) from Korea

  • Two marine species of family Callyspongiidae, Callyspongia mookriensis n. sp. and Siphonochalina truncata, were collected from Chujado Island and Jejudo Island, Korea during 2005-2007. Callyspongia mookriensis n. sp. is similar to Callyspongia flabelliformis Tanita, 1968 in type of spicule, habitat and growth form but differs in spicule and mesh size. The new species has longer oxea and broader mesh than Callyspongia flabelliformis's. The overall shape and skeleton of Siphonochalina truncata are nearly identical with specimens described by Lindgren (1897).
