Purpose: Bell's palsy is a nerve paralysis disease that causes functional impairments and affects psychological and aesthetical parts. This study aimed to examine whether acupressure massage had positive effects on facial paralysis, subjective symptoms, and depression in Bell's palsy patients. Methods: This study was conducted by a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. Participants were 60 patients with Bell's palsy. 30 patients were assigned to the experimental group and the remaining 30 patients were assigned to the control group. The period of the study was from October 1, 2008 to July 30, 2009. Acupressure massage was offered to the experimental group for 20 minutes per day for two weeks (a total of six times). A SPSS/Win 12.0 program was used for data analysis. Results: A difference in Digital Infrared Thermographic Imaging (DITI) between affected and unaffected sides was less in the experimental group having acupressure massage than in the control group and the score of the recovery of facial paralysis was also increased in the experimental group. The Facial Nerve Grade Systems by Brackmann score that is a more objective index showed a significant difference between two groups (F=26.81, p<.001). Subjective symptom and depression scores were more decreased in the acupressure massage group than in the control group. Conclusion: Based on the results, it is considered that acupressure massage can be applied to Bell's palsy patients as an alternative therapy. It can be used as an evidence-based East-West nursing intervention to improve patients' physical and mental functions.

The typical sea-weeds such as laver, Sea tangle, tangle have been artificially polluted to measure the contents of mercury through the cooking methods of washing and immersion in acetic acid. The content of mercury of non-mercury treated laver sold in the market is $0.052{\pm}0.002\;ppm$, sea tangle, $0.048{\pm}0.005\;ppm$, and tangle, $0.078{\pm}0.010ppm$. Tangle showed the highest degree of pollution after 24 hours immersion in the 1ppm mercury solution, to be followed by sea tangle and laver. The effect of solution and dehydration in economic sense is in the order of Sea tangle, tangle and laver. In case of initial immersion in 1ppm $HgCl_2$ solution to be reimmersed in 1%, 3%, and 5% of HAC solution the residue mercury does not show much effect in density in laver, sea tangle and tangle.
The purpose of this study was to analyse the effects of youth depression and aggression and the effects of peer alienation in the process. To that end, the hierarchical regression analysis was used for 869 male teenagers and 800 female teenagers based on the data 7th wave of Korean Youth Panel Survey. Filly, In order to verify the meadiating effect of Peer Reject, bootstrapping method was used. The first seven panels Major analysis results are as follows. First, depression directly affected school adjustment of male and female adolescents. it turns out that the more depressed the young men and women are, the more aggressive they are. Second, In terms of depression and aggression among young men, peer alienation plays a role as a medium and that it does not work in the case of female. It also demonstrated that men's peer rejection has a media-effect in both gender depression and aggression and recommended discriminatory intervention based on gender.
The purpose of this research is to find out the service quality dimensions and detailed elements of a call center, and to study what relationship the service quality dimensions have with service recovery and customer royalty. This research set up the hypothesis and the research model to verify the relationship between the call center service quality and the service quality customer royalty for 139 people surveyed who experienced dissatisfactions. The result of the hypothesis verification shows that it has an influence on the counselors' service quality and service recovery processes of 3 call centers. The service recovery has en influence on the customer royalty. The result quality as a result remained for a customer after counseling can be called the ultimate purpose of using the call center for a customer, and the research shows that it has the largest influence on the service recovery of 3 dimensions of the call center service quality. In the relationship between the service recovery and the customer royalty, the service recovery has a meaningful influence on the customer royalty.

It was proven to have positive effects on stress coping by intervention in a short time. Through the results of this study, time management behavioral therapy program was proven to have positive effects on self-esteem, stress coping of school maladjusted adolescents.
Studies of elder abuse are increasing in our country since the 1990s. But few studies have researched how older people may perceive and give meaning to the phenomenon of elder abuse. Old people have been alienated from their own problems. Elder abuse was constructed as a social problem by experts, not by older people themselves. The purpose of this study was to explore the older people's perceptions ell the meaning of elder abuse and interventions for it, using a qualitative approach based on the grounded theory. The findings from in-depth interviews with 10 the elderly were as follows: The elderly participated in this study has been constructing the aged as independence, privacy, and carer, which conflicts the existing social construction of the aged. They also had their own definition of elder abuse. They perceived all the psycho-emotional sufferings as major elder abuse. So, they understood that elder abuse was the pervasive problem which everyone would experience. They proposed that desirable interventions for it was to guarantee and to sustain their existing independent living.
Background: In this study, we investigate the image quality of virtual monochromatic images synthesized from dual-energy computed tomography (DECT) at voltages of 80/140 kV and 100/140 kV. Materials and Methods: Virtual monochromatic images of a phantom are synthesized from DECT scans from 40 to 70 keV in steps of 1 keV under the two combinations of tube voltages. The dose allocation of dual-energy (DE) scan is 50% for both low- and high-energy tubes. The virtual monochromatic images are compared to single-energy (SE) images at the same radiation dose. In the DE images, noise is reduced using the 100/140 kV scan at the optimal monochromatic energy. Virtual monochromatic images are reconstructed from 40 to 70 keV in 1-keV increments and analyzed using two quality indexes: noise and contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR). Results and Discussion: The DE scan mode with the 100/140 kV protocol achieved a better maximum CNR compared to the 80/140 kV protocol for various materials, except for adipose and brain. Image noise is reduced with the 100/140 kV protocol. The CNR values of DE with the 100/140 kV protocol is similar to or higher than that of SE at 120 kV at the same radiation dose. Furthermore, the maximum CNR with the 100/140 kV protocol is similar to or higher than that of the SE scan at 120 kV. Conclusion: It was found that the CNR achieved with the 100/140 kV protocol was better than that with the 80/140 kV protocol at optimal monochromatic energies. Virtual monochromatic imaging using the 100/140 kV protocol could be considered for application in breast, brain, lung, liver, and bone CT in accordance with the CNR results.

When temporary spent fuel storage pools at nuclear power plants reach their capacity limit, the spent fuel must be moved to an alternative storage facility. However, radioactive materials must be handled and stored carefully to avoid severe consequences to the environment. In this study, the risks of three potential accident scenarios (i.e., maritime transportation, an aircraft crashing into an interim storage facility, and on-site transportation) associated with the spent fuel transportation process were analyzed using a probabilistic approach. For each scenario, the probabilities and the consequences were calculated separately to assess the risks: the probabilities were calculated using existing data and statistical models, and the consequences were calculated using computation models. Risk assessment software was developed to conveniently integrate the three scenarios. The risks were analyzed using the developed software according to the shipment route, building characteristics, and spent fuel handling environment. As a result of the risk analysis with varying accident conditions, transportation and storage strategies with relatively low risk were developed for regulators and licensees. The focus of this study was the risk assessment methodology; however, the applied model and input data have some uncertainties. Further research to reduce these uncertainties will improve the accuracy of this model.
The purpose of this study was to examine the knowledge of nursing students on methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), and the compliance level of infection prevention during their clinical practice. The data was collected using a questionnaire from the 234 senior nursing students with previous clinical practice experience from October $14^{th}$ to November $30^{th}$, 2016. According to the result, the mean MRSA knowledge score was 52.0 points out of 100 and the compliance level for MRSA infection prevention was 89.41 points out of 100. As for the factors affecting compliance of MRSA infection prevention, education of MRSA and awareness about the possibility of MRSA infection during the clinical practice were significant. In order to promote compliance of MRSA infection prevention, it is necessary to develop educational programs centering on the contents applicable to clinical practice, including awareness on possible infection.
