  • In this paper, recently, it is described to the piezoelectric transformer technology develops, because it was have to favorable characteristics such as electromagnetic-noise free, compact size, higher efficiency, and superior power density, flux linkage, noiseless, etc. its resonance frequency was used to output waveform of a sine wave. A rotor speed identification method of induction motor based on the theory of flux model reference adaptive system(FMRAS). The estimator execute the rotor speed identification so that the vector control of the induction motor may be achieved. The improved auxiliary variable of the model are introduced to perform accurate rotor speed estimation. The control system is composed of the PI controller for speed control and the current controller using space voltage vector PWM techniuqe and DC-DC converter. High speed calculation and processing for vector control is carried out by digital signal one chip microprocessor. Validity of the proposed control method is verified through simulation and experimental results.

  • The author present a modified multi-loop algorithm Including feedforward for controlling a 55kW stepdown chopper in the power supply of Maglev The gains of the control algorithm were selected based on pole locations formulated from a prototype Bessel transfer function model. The design incorporate tradeoffs in DC-to-DC converter hard-ware para-meters and pole locations. This perturvation is derived by subtracting the desired output voltage from the actual output voltage. The proportional and integral action stabilizes the system and minimizes output voltage error. In order to verify the validity of the proposed multi-loop controller, simulation study was tried using Matlab simulink.

  • In this study, it has been aimed that the accuracy of position control be increased by microstep drive to the 2 phase 8 pole HB type prototype of linear pulse motor of which winding are applied sine wave current and the vibration and noise in the lower speed region be decreased. The fixed off-time method which controls the exciting current bandwidth, was applied to the microstep current controller. When the LPM was driven 1/8 microstep its accuracy of position was 0.109[mm] (=tooth pitch 3.5[mm] ). Also, the elimination method of harmonics in the static thrust force is proposed. It was confirmed that the position error range of the prototype LPM was $\pm$0.2[mm].

The second term consists of the difference between the slowly moving inductor current and output current. The third term consists of proportional and integral terms involving the perturbation in the output voltage. This perturvation is derived by subtracting the desired output voltage from the actual output voltage. The proportional and integral action stabilizes the system and minimizes output voltage error. In order to verify the validity of the proposed multi-loop controller, simulation study was tried using Matlab simulink.

  • When the magnetic levitation system(MAGLEV) initially rise, The MAGLEV has a weak point that is very large variation of the electric current. In this paper, The author applied the multi-loop-control to stably control the magnetic levitation system(MAGLEV). The gains of the control algorithm were selected based on pole locations formulated from a prototype Bessel transfer function model. The design incorporate tradeoffs in DC-to-DC converter hard-ware para-meters and pole locations. In order to confirm the superiority of the proposed pole selection md controller, MATLAB simulation and experiment results are presented.

  • The degradation of durability and increase of fatigue on the ship are mainly caused by vibration of the engine and rotating machineries. The damper to minimize the influence from vibration is usually attached between the machineries and its base. General damper applied on the vessel is passive damper which is designed to attenuate specified frequency signals, i.e, high frequency vibration signals. But it is hard to anticipate its performance for low frequency signals. In this research, active vibration isolator using VCM is developed to suppress wide band vibration signals. Routh-Huritz's stable condition, ultimate sensitivity method and parameter tuning are applied to derive PID parameters and 2 and 4 phase choppers are also adapted to drive VCM. Simulation and experiments are executed to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed control schemes.
