Purpose: The purpose of this study is to shopping medium determinants and consumer behavior differences based on the value of consumption. Methodology: The subjects of the survey were adult men and women in their 20s or older living in Korea, and 283 valid responses were obtained. A Logit model was used to identify consumption value factors and shopping medium choices. A t-test was conducted to analyze the differences between consumer behavior based on preferred shopping medium (on/offline). Results: The inclusion of community-oriented factors such as eco-friendliness and social contributions lead to higher likelihood of choosing offline shopping. In addition, consumers who value self-expression and who are price sensitive are more likely to choose online stores. Conclusions: It was found that community-oriented factors lead shoppers to choose offline shopping, and the need for self-expression lead shoppers to choose online stores.

드라마 제작에 있어서 스타배우의 기용은 드라마 수익의 중요한 요건인 시청률 확보에 있어서 중요한 원천이 되지만 이와 동시에 드라마 비용 상승의 중요한 원인이 되기도 한다. 그러므로 어떠한 상황에서 스타배우를 기용하는가에 대해 조사하는 것은 드라마 기획 과정에서 불확실성을 관리하는 방식에 대해 파악하는 단서가 될 수 있다. 본 연구는 한국에서 방영된 텔레비전 드라마를 대상으로 하여 드라마의 스타배우의 기용에 영향을 미치는 요인들에 대하여 분석하였다. 분석 대상으로 2014년 1월부터 2017년 12월까지 공중파 방송 3사와 케이블 방송사에서 방영이 완결된 288편 드라마를 선정하였다. 스타배우 기용에 영향을 미치는 요인으로서 드라마의 방영기간, 즉 드라마의 횟수에 주목하였으며 원작 유무, 외주제작 여부와 PD의 수상 경력의 조절효과도 조사하였다. 그 결과 단편드라마의 경우 스타배우가 기용되며 특히 원작이 존재하는 단편드라마가 원작이 있는 경우에 스타배우를 더욱 기용하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 광고 수익의 가능성이 큰 스타배우를 기용하는 것에 따르는 높은 출연료의 부담을 덜기 위한 불확실성 감소의 수단으로 방영기간이 짧고 스토리가 검증된 원작을 사용하는 드라마 제작이 이루어지는 것으로 해석된다.

In this paper, details of the design and implementation of a voice source simulator using Simulink and Matlab are discussed. This simulator is an implementation by model-based design concept. Voice sources can be analyzed and manipulated through various factors by choosing options from GUI input and selecting pre-defined blocks or user created ones. This kind of simulation tool can simplify the procedure of analyzing speech signals for various purposes such as voice quality analysis, pathological voice analysis, and speech coding. Also, basic analysis functions are supported to compare the original signal and the manipulated ones.

This paper discusses about how to build up mixed-effects model for analysing ordinal response data by using cumulative logits. Random factors are assumed to be coming from the designed sampling scheme for choosing observational units. Since the observed responses of individuals are ordinal, a proportional odds model with two random effects is suggested. Estimation procedure for the unknown parameters in a suggested model is also discussed by an illustrated example.

In this Study, we analyzed fare rates of railway by calculating the price elastic of railroad freight. The transportation means of each section needs competitive carriage charges in market price. There are many factors when choosing the means of freight transportation. Therefore the main objective of this paper lies in the study of price elastic theory and evaluating elastic of goods rates of railway.

In case of the big city, choosing the adequate root of which we can reach the destination can affect the driver's condition and driving time. so it is quite important to find the optimal routes for arriving the destination as considering the factors, such as driving conditions or travel time and so on. In this paper, we develop route choice model with considering driving conditions and travel time, and it can search the optimal path which make drivers reduce their fatigues using genetic algorithm.

Housing supply ratio in Ulsan area has soared up to 91% recently. Therefore, developing a successful marketing strategy is an essential part of apartment sales success in Ulsan area. The purpose of this study is identifying the status of satisfaction level, moving motivation, the level of housing choosing behavior, and housing needs of the apartments for making a marketing strategy. The survey uses questionnaires which are delivered to the 545 housewives who live in 20 pyoung or 30 pyoung apartment in Ulsan area. The research uses a survey questionnaire for gathering a set of statistically-reasonable number of data among one million population of Ulsan metropolitan area. The frequency test and F-test are used for the analysis of the results. The results of empirical analyses provide the following major findings： 1) housing satisfaction of Buk-ku residents is higher than that of the residents of the other area, 2) neighborhood environment improvement and physical environment improvement are important factors of housing moving motivations, 3) view and lighting are important requirements of the housing, 4) the level of housing choosing efforts are more active in the residents of Joong-ku and Dong-ku than those of Nam-ku and Buk-ku.

본 연구는 지역사회 주민이 치과의료기관을 선택할 때 중요하게 작용하는 요인을 파악하고, 향후 치과의료기관의 합리적인 경영전략을 수립하는데 필요한 기초적인 자료를 얻고자 주민 238명을 대상으로 자기기입식 설문지를 이용하여 조사 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 치과의료기관 선택 시 치과의사의 성실성, 친절 등에 대한 평판을 가장 높게 고려하는 것으로 나타났고, 치료의 질은 두 번째로 높게 고려하였으며, 치과의사의 연령이나 성별은 가장 낮게 고려하였다. 2. 남녀 모두 의료기관의 외적요인보다는 의료기관의 내적요인을 더 높게 고려하는 것으로 나타났고, 남자보다는 여자가 외적요인, 접근성, 그리고 내적요인 모두 더 높게 고려하는 것으로 나타났지만 통계적으로 유의하지는 않았다. 3. 연령이 46세 이상인 군이 23세 이하, 24-35세인 군에 비해 치과의료기관 선택요인 중에서 접근성을 통계적으로 유의하게 높게 고려하였다.

Background: Alcohol and tobacco use are two major behavioral risk factors implicated in increased morbidity and mortality. Since both substances are widely used in Korea, a concerted effort is currently underway to reduce the use of tobacco and alcohol in Korea. Objectives: Efforts directed toward preparing health promotion planners and health educators from local health departments to organize and implement community-wide interventions to reduce the proportion of people smoking and reduce the average level of alcohol consumption in the community. Methods: Comprehensive multi-media health promotion materials were developed based on health behavior theories and strategies. The materials were developed to introduce a user-oriented developmental approach by making messages more persuasive and organizing content in a user-friendly manner. Health educators from all local health departments in the country were trained in the use of the materials, to enable them to develop community interventions to reduce smoking and drinking. Implications for Practitioners: The process followed in developing the health intervention materials is described in detail to assist practitioners who need to develop effective programs to reduce the use of tobacco and alcohol. Sections of the report explain health intervention theories, specific program activities to include in an intervention, development, organization, evaluation, choosing a target audience, choosing goals of an intervention, and methods of making program content vivid and persuasive.

The purpose of this study is to understand the characteristics and improvements of Korean foods by using the ISA (Importance Satisfaction Analysis) targeting Korean students in international schools in the Seoul Metropolitan area. It also analyzes the difference in the importance and satisfaction of Korean foods, and to provide basic data for developing various healthy diets which are suitable for target students. Target groups are 7 to 12 graders which consist of 62 male students and 42 female students, and most of them had lived in the United States with duration of staying abroad from 1 year to less than 3 years and duration of attending schools from 1 year to less than 2 years. Most of their family structures are the nuclear family, and most of their fathers work in management positions and mothers are mostly full-time housewives. The most favored and consumed food is fruits and the least favored is seaweeds. Perceptions regarding Korean foods are mainly positive and more female students than male students consider Korean foods as well-being foods. The important factor for choosing Korean food is the flavor, and the highest satisfaction lies in the cleanliness of food and tableware, and food temperatures appear to be less important than other factors regarding both importance and satisfaction aspects. The flavor turns out to be the most influential when consuming Korean foods, and information on Korean foods is mostly acquired from advices of those around and through words-of-mouth, and many comments point out that the levels of sanitation should be improved. The result of ISA regarding determinant factors in choosing Korean foods by Korean students in international schools shows that efforts for aggressive improvements should be made in areas for 'the amount of food', 'the price of food', and 'the curiosity on food'.
