Electrocatalysis of Oxygen Reduction by Au Nanoparticles Electrodeposited on Polyoxometalate-Modified Electrode Surfaces

  • The effect of polyoxometalate monolayers on the electrodeposition of Au nanoparticles (AuNPs) on glassy carbon (GC) surfaces was examined by electrochemical and scanning electron microscope techniques. The presence of $SiMo_{12}O^{4-}_{40}$-layers resulted in average particle sizes of ca. 60 nm, which is larger than AuNPs deposited on bare GC surfaces. AuNPs electrodeposited on $SiMo_{12}O^{4-}_{40}$-modified GC surfaces for 20 s exhibited the best electrocatalytic activity for oxygen reduction. This system exhibited similar or slightly better efficiency for oxygen reduction than a bare Au electrode. Rotating disk electrode experiments were also performed and revealed that the catalytic reduction of oxygen on AuNPs deposited on $SiMo_{12}O^{4-}_{40}$-modified GC electrodes is a two-electron process.

  • In this paper, a voltage and current control scheme of a three-phase voltage source inverter for UPS is described. The inverter provides pure sinusoidal output voltage with very low THD(Total Harmonic Distortion). The proposed controller is designed to robust against the load change, parameter variations, and disturbances using PI controller. The switching pattern is determined to Space Vector Modulation. Finally, the performance of the proposed inverter is shown and discussed by simulation.

  • This paper presents a design of a charge pumping circuit for LCD Driver IC. The charge pumping circuit consists of a control block, a VCIOUT generating block, a DDVDH generating block, a VGH/VGL generating block, and VCL generating block. It generates various higher and lower voltage than supply voltage using external control input. Simulation results show that voltages of DDVDH, VGH, VGL, and VCL satisfy the target voltage, and the output DDVDH drives the output current 7mA.

  • 소프트웨어 개발 환경이 빠르게 변화함에 따라 시스템의 복잡성이 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 크고 작은 소프트웨어의 버그를 피할 수 없게 되며 이를 효율적으로 처리하기 위해 Bug report 를 사용한다. 하지만, Bug report 에서 개발자가 해당 Bug report 의 우선순위를 결정하는 과정은 노력과 비용 그리고 시간을 많이 소모하게 만든다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 Bug report 내의 Stack trace 를 기반으로 Bug 의 우선순위를 자동적으로 추천하는 기법을 제안한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 첫 번째로 Bug report 로부터 Stack trace 를 추출하였으며 Stack trace 의 3 가지 요소(Exception, Reason 그리고 Stack frame)에 TF-IDF, Word2Vec 그리고 Stack overflow 를 사용하여 특징 벡터를 정의하였다. 그리고 Bug 의 우선순위 추천 모델을 생성하기 위해 4 가지의 Classification 알고리즘을(Random Forest, Decision Tree, XGBoost, SVM)을 적용하였다. 평가에서는 266,292 개의 JDK library 의 Bug report 데이터를 수집하였고 그중 Stack trace 를 가진 Bug report 로부터 68%의 정확도를 산출하였다.

폐광산 인근 논토양과 수도의 비소함량 조사 (Concentration of Arsenic in Rice Plants and Paddy Soils in the Vicinity of Abandoned Zinc Mine)

  • 토양중 비소함량이 식물체내 이동에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위하여 아연 폐광산 근처 논토양과 벼에 함유된 비소함량을 조사하였다. 논토양 중 비소는 total As의 약 52.9%, extractable As의 74%정도가 iron oxide phase에 bound된 비소(Fe-As)였으며 수용성 비소(Ws-As)는 대부분 검출한계 이하였다. 비소의 연속추출 결과, extractable As fraction중 Fe-As가 1 N-HCI 가용성 As와 가장 높은 상관을 나타내었고, 이것은 토양중 Fe-As 의 함량이 많기 때문으로 생각된다. 식물체 부위별 비소의 농도는 뿌리>잎 줄기>곡실순이었으며 곡실 중에 함유된 비소농도는 FDA 식품기준 1.08mg/kg 이하였다. 토양중 As fraction과 식물체 부위별 As함량간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과 Al-As fraction이 뿌리와 0.821, 줄기 0.888, 잎 0.777로 비교적 높은 상관계수를 나타내었고, 작물에 가장 잘 이용될 수 있는 비소의 형태는 Al-As fraction인 것으로 판단된다.

  • A control scheme for the Voltage-sourced PWM converter based on space vector equations is introduced. The main advantages of this new control scheme are that sinusoidal line currents with nearly unity power factor, ripple-free DC voltage output are achevied without current sensors. The dynamical equations with battery model is derived. The proposed scheme is verified by computer simulation.

  • A new method of model reduction, based on the differentiation of polynomials, is Introduced by Gutman(1982). Without the reciprocal transformation, and the differentiation of the numerator and denominator polynomials of the transfer function, used by Gutman, the lower-order system can be obtained by the permutation of the order of numerator and denominator and the number of differentiation.

  • 이 시스템은 미래 혁신 기술로 각광받고 있는 블록체인 기술의 특징을 이용하여 사용자들의 거래 내역을 블록화 하여 보안성을 강화하고 결재정보나 개인정보를 보호해서 안정성을 추구하며 블록체인에서 구현하기 어려운 결제의 불완전성을 극복하려는 시스템이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 시스템을 설계한 과정 중에 일부분인 블록체인의 유효성검사, 블록 저장한 화면들을 보여주고 설명하고 있다.

Effect of Mixed Treatment of Urea Fertilizer and Zeolite on Nitrous Oxide and Ammonia Emission in Upland Soil

  • Ammonia loss from urea significantly hinders efficient use of urea in agriculture. The level of nitrous oxide ($N_2O$) a long-lived greenhouse gas in atmosphere has increased mainly due to anthropogenic source, especially application of nitrogen fertilizers. There are reports in the literature showing that the addition of zeolite to N sources can improve the nitrogen use efficiency. This study was conducted to evaluate nitrous oxide ($N_2O$) and ammonia ($NH_3$) emission by mixed treatment of urea and zeolite in upland crop field. Urea fertilizer and zeolite were applied at different rates to study their effect on $N_2O$ emission during red pepper cultivation in upland soils. The $N_2O$ gas was collected by static closed chamber method and measured by gas chromatography. Ammonia concentration was analyzed by closed-dynamic air flow system method. The total $N_2O$ flux increased in proportion to the level of N application. Emission of $N_2O$ from the field increased from the plots applied with urea-zeolite mixture compared to urea alone. But urea-zeolite mixture treatment reduced about 30% of $NH_3$-N volatilization amounts. These results showed that the application of urea and zeolite mixture had a positive influence on reduction of $NH_3$ volatilization, but led to the increase in $N_2O$ emission in upland soils.

  • The spinel $LiMn_2O_4$ has been synthesized by solid-state reaction. $LiMn_2O_4$ which includes 3 mix $Li_2CO_3$ or $LiNO_3$ and $MnO_2$ prepared by Prelim heating at $350^{\circ}C$ for 24hr. $LiMn_2O_4$ fired at temp range from $600^{\circ}C$ to $800^{\circ}C$ for 48hr. The structure a electrochemical characteristics of spinel $LiMn_2O_2$ wh fabricated by changing sintering condition from st materials are investigated. The spinel $LiMn_2O_4$ prepared by the mixture of L CMD at $800^{\circ}C$ for 48hr showed an initial charge ca of 146mAh/g. The spinel $LiMn_2O_4$ prepared by the m of $LiNO_3$/CMD at $600{\sim}800^{\circ}C$ for 48hr stabilized ch discharge capacity after 50th cycles.
