A $1{\frac{1}{2}}$-starcompact space has one of the most curious properties among the spaces of starcompactness. It is not too far away from countably compact spaces and may be considered as the first candidate for extending theorems about countably compact spaces. Unfortunately, $1{\frac{1}{2}}$-starcompactness is not so easy to be recognized as 2-starcompactness which will follow from countable pracompactness. We investigate some properties around $1{\frac{1}{2}}$-starcompact spaces.

In this paper, we observed an electrode structure that is an important element that decide life of compact fluorescent lamp. We measured winding and application type of electron emission material and electrode damage with SEM(Scanning Electron Microscope). From now on, we need to measure rather several difference aging-time sample than analyze a relation electrode between life

The purpose of this paper is to give a proof of a generalized convex-valued selection theorem which is given by weakening a Banach space to a completely metrizable locally convex topological vector space, i.e., a Frechet space. We also develop the properties of upper semi-continuous singlevalued mapping to those of upper semi-continuous multivalued mappings. These properties wil be applied in our further consideraations of selection theorems.
