Through reinvestigations of early years of King Young-Joe provincial castles, Jeonju Eupsung, this study seeks to broaden the understanding of castle construction of the later period of Chosun Dynasty. Jeonju Eupsung was established by reform-minded king and his loyalist Cho, Hyun Myung. Their new conceptual framework for reconstruction of Jeonju Eupsung was affected by Yoo, Hyung Won, a realist scholar of 17th century. It is obvious that adopted new administrative systems of financing, building and maintaining of Jeonju Eupsung were based on the his theories of castle. This study demonstrates that Jeonju Eupsung built by Cho, Hyun Myung, during the early years of King Young-Joe were based on those new concepts and systems of the new age. The study shows that the designer of this castle had in mind efficient construction design and execution and effective defense of provincial towns located on flat ground. And, the study explains how those original designer sought higher productivity through greater localization of securing resources and more detailed and improved organization of construction responsibilities. In short, this study seeks to prove that the provincial castles of the early 18th century reflected the new thinking on practicality that was spreading throughout the society of Chosun Dynasty at the time.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to review the prevention of pre- or syncope by acupuncture of "Geum Chim Mae Hwa Si Cho" Methods : 1. The authors reviewed "Geum Chim Mae Hwa Si Cho" and several literatures related with pre- or syncope by acupuncture. 2. We investigated the causes and signs of pre- or syncope by acupuncture, and the mechanism and clinical usefulness of the prevention of pre- or syncope by acupuncture. Results and Conclusions : 1. Pre- or syncope by acupuncture is a kind of Myung Hyun phenomenon resulted from patients' failure of reception of acupuncture treatment. 2. "Geum Chim Mae Hwa Si Cho" said not to be confused by pre- or syncope, and suggested 8 items for prevention of pre- or syncope by acupuncture. 3. "Geum Chim Mae Hwa Si Cho" especially argued to give doctor's whole mind to patients, and relax the mental tension of patients. 4. Yang Myoung meridian occupies the biggest part in acupoints used for the first aid.

본 논문에서는 최적화를 적용하여 독립형 마이크로그리드 내에서 신재생 발전원의 설치 비율을 산정한다. 계통과 독립되어 있는 마이크로그리드에서의 발전원을 신재생 에너지원인 풍력 및 태양광, 그리고 에너지저장장치(Energy Storage System, ESS)만으로 가정하여 마이크로그리드의 부하규모에 맞는 신재생 에너지 발전원의 비율을 제시한다.

Our ancestors had done their best for the moral training and home management, further more for the governing a country through observing the decorums. The 4 main decorums, i. e. the Coming-of-Age Ceremony, Wedding Ceremony, Funeral Rites and the Ancestor worship Ceremony during the Chosun Dynasty had guided well our ancestors'life harmoiously. The Wedding Ceremonies of them was one of the most happy events in their lives meaningful of the filial piety and the union of two families. The Wedding ceremonies consist of the 6 etiquetes, i. e., Eui-Hon (matchmaking), N뮤-Chae (present), Nab-Pye(bride's presents to her parents-in-law), Chung-Gi(ask the other part about an auspicious day), Moon-Myung(choice of an auspicious day), Chin-Young(take and meet a bride) in order of sequence. Chin-Young consists of Cho-Hon, Sa-Dang-Go-Woo, Sung-Bok, Cho-Rye, Boo-Myung-Ji & Mo-Song, Jun-An-Rye, Hab-Geun-Rye, Sin-Bang-Chi-Reu-Gi, Hyun-Goo-Rye, Myo-Hyun and Jae-Haeng ete, considerably complicated programs in order.

We show that every ultrapure space is weakly star reducible, and that every countably compact weakly star reducible space is compact. We also pose open problems.

Objective : The purpose of this study is to compare the effect of two other groups(Group A and B) which were treated with two other auricular acupuncture therapy to quit smoking. Methods : Seventy three high-school students were devided in two groups. Group A was treated with auricular acupuncture therapy by burying a needle in one side ear. Group B was not only treated with auricular acupuncture therapy by burying a needle in one side ear, but also treated with venesection on the other side ear. The effects of auricular acupuncture therapy to quit smoking were evaluated at two weeks and six months after the therapy. Results : Group A's score to quit smoking after the auricular acupuncture therapy was higher than Group B's score. Conclusions : Treating with auricular acupuncture therapy by burying a needle in one side ear and venesection on the other side, was effective neither on decreasing the amount of smoking nor on decreasing the desire to smoke compared with the only needle burying treatment.
