흡광도측정법에 의한 황백과 제제 중 프로토베르베린 알칼로이드의 정량 (Determination of Protoberberine Alkaloids in Phellodendri Cortex and Preparation by Spectrophotometric Method)

  • The Phellodendri Cortex of Phellodendron amurense (Rutaceae) is known to contain a number of isoquinoline alkaloid, and berberine, palmatine, jateorrhizine, phellodendrine and magnoflorine are the major constituents of protoberberine alkaloids. For the determination of protoberberine alkaloids from Phellodendri Cortex and berberine chloride from the preparation, the new spectrophotometric method was developed with a simple and selective sample clean-up using thiocyanatocobaltate[II] complex ion. Samples were extracted with 0.1 mM hydrochloric acid, potassium biphthalate reagent, thiocyanatocobaltate reagent and 1.2-dichloroethane for 60 min. The absorbance of protoberberine alkaloid complexes in 1.2-dichloroethane solution was measured at 625 nm. Calibration curve for berberine was linear over the concentration range of 0.05~0.30 mg/ml 1.2-dichloroethane. The method proved to be rapid, simple and reliable for the determination of protoberberine alkaloids from Phellodendri Cortex and berberine chloride from the preparation.

  • Decing agent with chloride promote frost damage of concrete structure in winter period. From the safetyside, however, it is difficult to stop using chloride. Therefore, the durable concrete is required from now on. In this paper, long-term freezing and thawing test was carried out using the freezing water containing $CaCl_{2}$ to consider the concrete scaling according to the kind of binders, such as OPC, Flyash, Slag+Fa. and Slag As a result, it was found that the degree of scaling is different with containing slag being considered to prevent the penetration chloride ion and according to each binders.

  • Worldwide, Certification systems for standard of material and quality of product exist very variously. Korean industrial Standard (KS) is most representatively certification systems in Korea. But laboratory of korea uses often ASTM, RILEM and JIS and these standards do not get into unionization. so, Granted that experiment is same, result still can different. Therefore, this research measured chloride amount of hardened concrete using identical material and wished to improve accuracy of chloride estimation as that comparison evaluate to each examination.

Temperature effect on multi-ionic species diffusion in saturated concrete

  • This study presents the mathematical model for predicting chloride penetration into saturated concrete under non-isothermal condition. The model considers not only diffusion mechanism but also migration process of chloride ions and other chemical species in concrete pore solution such as sodium, potassium, and hydroxyl ions. The coupled multi-ionic transport in concrete is described by the Nernst-Planck equation associated with electro-neutrality condition. The coupling parameter taken into account the effect of temperature on ion diffusion obtained from available test data is proposed and explicitly incorporated in the governing equations. The coupled transport equations are solved using the finite element method. The numerical results are validated with available experimental data and the comparison shows a good agreement.

  • Corrosion of the rebar embedded in concrete has a fundamental role in the determination of life and durability of the concrete structures. Researches have demonstrated that artificial neural networks (ANNs) can effectively predict issues such as expected damage in concrete structures in marine environment caused by chloride penetration, the potential of steel embedded in concrete under the influence of chloride, the corrosion of the steel embedded in concrete and corrosion current density in steel reinforced concrete. In this study, data from different kind of concrete under the influence of chloride ion, are analyzed using the neural network and it is concluded that this method is able to predict the bond strength between the concrete and the steel reinforcement in mentioned condition with high reliability.

  • A procedure for the preparation of peptizable pseudoboehmite has been described in detail based upon a process of neutralization of an aqueous aluminum sulfate or chloride solution with aqueous ammonia. In order to obtain peptizable pseudoboehmite products, carefully controlled conditions were required in the whole processes of neutralization, aging, washing, and drying. The optimum conditions experimentally found are the following. The aluminum salt solution is neutralized with aqueous ammonia until the final pH of the solution reaches 10.0 to 10.8 or 9.0 to 9.3 for the sulfate of chloride, respectively. The alumina gel formed is subjected to aging at $80^{\circ}C for about 3 hours and washed with water more than 5 times to reduce the residual sulfate or chloride ion in the final products to less than 4%. The pseudoboehmite gel thus obtained should be dried oven at 80 to $100^{\circ}C for a few to several hours depending on the selected temperatures.

  • In the present investigation, the chloride ion penetration resistance of nuclear power plant concrete with varying water-to-cement ratios was assessed. A comparative analysis was conducted on concretes that do not incorporate supplementary cementitious materials, such as fly ash, using permanently decommissioned nuclear structures as a reference. The objective is to employ this acquired data as a fundamental resource for the evaluation of the residual service life of nuclear power plant structures in subsequent studies.

철근의 영향을 고려한 콘크리트 구조물의 염소이온 확산해석 (Influence of Reinforcements on the Chloride Diffusion Analysis of Concrete Structures)

  • 염해 환경에 노출된 철근 콘크리트 구조물의 내구수명 산정은 일반적으로 철근의 위치까지 염소이온이 확산하여 임계농도에 도달하는데 걸리는 시간으로 추정해 오고 있다. 염소이온의 확산해석 방법은 많은 연구들이 콘크리트만을 고려한 염소이온 확산해석을 수행하여 염소이온의 분포를 예측하곤 철근 깊이에서의 염소이온 농도가 임계농도에 도달하는 시간을 내구수명 예측에 사용하는 방법을 제시하고 있다. 콘크리트에서의 염소이온의 확산 해석에서 콘크리트 내의 철근을 고려하지 않은 염소이온 확산해석은 실제 철근의 염소이온 확산 계수가 거의 '0'인 점을 고려하면 실제 염소이온의 확산 거동을 제대로 반영하지 못한 것이다. 따라서, 본 연구는 철근의 영향을 고려한 염소이온 확산 해석을 통하여 철근이 염소이온 확산 거동에 미치는 영향을 규명하고 합리적인 철근 부식 시작 시간을 예측하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는, 또한 시멘트 성분과 배합 특성에 영향을 받는 염소이온의 구속효과를 고려하여 확산해석을 수행하였으며, 염소이온 확산 해석의 주요 변수는 실제 구조물에서 염소이온의 확산해석에 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상되는 철근의 직경, 철근 덮개 크기, 시멘트 종류 그리고 배합 등의 다양한 변수를 고려하였으며 철근을 고려하지 않은 경우와 비교 분석하였다.

  • 실내촉진실험과 동시에 현장폭로실험을 병행하였기 때문에 연차별 실험계획에 따라 최근 5년차의 현장실험체 분석을 수행하고 모델을 업그레이드하는 과정에서 모델 검증을 위해 준공된 지 30년 가량된 방조제의 배수갑문콘크리트의 염화물 침투프로파일을 분석하였다. Zhang의 연구결과에서 언급된 표면에 가까운 콘크리트내부 염화물 농도를 기본모델의 표면염화물농도 대신으로 적용하였다. 장기간 노출되는 실험체의 염화물 측정자료 분석에서 확산계수의 변화분석을 통하여 Maage의 제안식을 기본모델에 적용하였다. 이렇게 보완된 수정모델을 통하여 예측된 자료와 현장자료를 비교하고, 임계시점, 즉 보수시점을 도출함으로서 본 연구의 제안모델과 유지보수 시스템이 간만대 염화물 침투프로파일 추정과 적정보수 시점 및 비용 예측에 사용될 수 있음을 보였다.
