This study selected brand logos of six South Korean and Chinese banks including KB, IBK, SH, ICBC, ABC, and SISB, conducted Eye Tracking experiment among 36 South Korean and Chinese university students(Nine male and female students, respectively), and analyzed the difference of visual attention of consumers on bank brand logo, symbol, Korean/Chinese character logo types as well as the difference of visual attention of these consumers on English logo types. Results were represented by using statistics and visualization including GAZEPLOT, HEATMAP, and visual expression. Results showed that most generally gazed logo types more often and longer than symbols when they watched bank brand logos. A slight difference was observed between both groups in terms of gazing English logo types. This study has a implication that it proposed the possibility of drawing quantitative and reliable outcomes by utilizing eye tracking device and approaching in an objective standpoint beyond a methodological aspect on bank brand logo primarily leaning over the analysis of case research or design development. Moreover, findings are expected to serve as basic data for proposing the direction of special bank brand logo design and marketing strategies.
In the survey of Korean and Japanese female students at the age of $20{\sim}22$, the conceptions of Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Western daily foods were recorded by SD and factor analysis and their perceptions about cuisine of their own countries and other countries in the diets of young people were figured out on the basis of their conceptions. The results are given below. The trends of perceptions about cuisine of their own countries and about Chinese and Western cuisine were coincided in both the Korean and the Japanese. The perceptions of their own countries‘ cuisine might seem to be traditional, familiar, cheap, and delicious. About Western cuisine, they felt that it seemed to be elegant and expensive but not familiar or delicious. Furthermore, the Korean had stronger perceptions about it than the Japanese had. For Chinese cuisine, the Korean felt the same as they did toward the Japanese foods just as the Japanese felt that the Korean cuisine was similar to the Chinese cuisine. The Japanese have thought that the Korean food-style was similar to that of their own country and Kimchi and Bulgogi have emerged in popular Japanese cooking. Also, they felt that the Korean cold noodle dish and Bibimbab were very familiar. On the other side, the Korean have become familiar with sushi, grilled meat, and Japanese noodles, but they were not familiar with other foods.
Objectives: The study aimed to examine whether healthy diet score was associated with stress and social support among 472 Chinese college students in Korea. Methods: The study participants were 472 (187 male, 285 female) Chinese college students in Gyeong-gi area. From April 2013 to Oct 2013, participants were asked to fill out questionnaires on healthy diet score (20 questions), stress (20 questions), and social support (20 questions). Each question was scored by a 5-point Likert scale (total scores of each questionnaire were ranged from 20 to 100). Questions on healthy diet were sub-categorized as 'Healthy food eating (HFE)', 'Healthy eating habits (HEH)', and 'Avoidance of unhealthy food (AUF)'. Reliability test was conducted with Cronbach's ${\alpha}lpha$ (${\alpha}=0.79$). Results: Healthy diet score was higher in participants who stayed longer in Korea, who spoke Korean language fluently, and who assessed his or her own health status as very good. Adjusted means of healthy diet scores were estimated after adjusting for age, gender, body mass index, duration of staying, and Korean language fluency. According to tertile categories, participants with low tertile stress but high tertile social support showed the highest score of healthy diet ($72.59{\pm}1.45$), whereas participants with high tertile of stress but low tertile of social support had the lowest score of healthy diet ($59.22{\pm}1.54$). As for the three sub-categories of healthy diet score, the score of HFE increased as the score of social support increased. Conclusions: Our findings suggested that social support system is beneficial to alleviate stress and to improve healthy diet score.

This study was performed to compare the color emotion and preference of Koreans and Chinese for a two-color combination by dyeing cotton fabric with persimmon and indigo and to establish prediction models of color preference. Nine specimens prepared by combining two different colored fabrics (persimmon and indigo) were evaluated for color emotion and preference by Korean and Chinese groups of female college students. Koreans described most specimens as natural and traditional, whereas the Chinese described them as more pleasant and elegant as well as warmer and lighter than Koreans did. The contrast tone was the most preferred combination by both groups, whereas it was perceived as more modern and less warm by Koreans. Relationships between physical color variables and color emotions were quantified; these relationships were applied to establish a prediction model of color preference with tone combination types for each group. These results could help in making the design of fashion textiles more preference- and emotion-oriented for Korean and Chinese consumers.
For last four or five years, the number of Korean students have gone on increasing awfully. After the year 1997 when they will flow in, our field and government will be undergone a big shock and social problems. Therefore, thorough grasping and the method of provision is expeced to need. 1. The situation, According to the data published from the year 1993 to 1997, their results are great different. But recent Korean embassy in China examined the situation of the Korean students, whose result was investigated as follows: about 1500 persons, their average age is 24 to 44, the ratio of male and female students is 3 to 1, that of their academic background which is a graduate of university : that of college : that of highschool is 1.6 : 1 : 4.7, and that of their class attitude which is direct : common : indirect appears the percents 30.4 : 52.8 : 16.8. 2. The controversial points (1) A lowering of standards on Chinese medical treatment is expected by the imprudent studying abroad without qualification. And because of excessive production of herb doctors, the amount of treatment may be above people's demand. Besides owing to the impossibility of prediction on the number the counterplans of our government may fall into utler confusion. (2) The curriculum, the teaching schedule and contents are so different that the graduates seem not to be given real education of chinese medicine from the point of Korean view. (3) In the wrong national examination, the important thought of china, and the system of WTO in Korea, when China will become mighty rival above problems contain the negative sides. 3. The counterplans - what should be performed soon. (1) Illegal contents about studying abroadl in China ought to inform sidely that students might not go on increasing. Before they form nam-power, the government and the field of chinese medicine should cope with such a situation together. (2) The law of regulation about agents should be legislated and they should be surpervised. (3) The exact numbers of students, their situation, and the present condition of each university should be examined. (4) After investigating the problems of the present system of national test, its enforcement and many counterplans is requisite. (5) The cooperating confrontation with the conference of dentistry is in need. (6) Since the problems are possibility to be developed to diplomatic questions, the effort of both nations is needful. - what need middle of long time. (1) The effort that suppress the more establishment of the college of oriental medicine is necessary. (2) After comparing with the system of foreign test, the government should make the system of test in accord with the mutualism and the principle of indiscrimination among nations and cope with such a many issues thoroughly.
Background: This study aimed to understand the relationship between knowledge level and behavior on breast care in Chinese students, so as to provide strategies for improving the health education of breast care and subsequently for aiding in breast cancer prevention. Materials and Methods: A self-designed questionnaire was used to evaluate breast care knowledge level and characterize related behavior. Correlation analysis was conducted for the knowledge level and behavior. The study was carried out using 597 female undergraduate students in medical and non-medical colleges in Wuhu, China. Results: The average score of breast care knowledge was $5.32{\pm}1.68$ ($5.62{\pm}1.68$ and $5.00{\pm}1.68$ for medical and non-medical students, respectively), with a greater score value for sophomores ($5.59{\pm}1.72$) than freshmen ($5.18{\pm}1.65$). The average score of breast care behavior was $2.21{\pm}1.13$, again with a greater value in sophomores ($2.37{\pm}1.15$) than freshmen ($2.21{\pm}1.13$). A significant positive correlation (r=0.231, p<0.01) between knowledge scores and behavior scores was observed. In addition, various factors, including paying attention to breast care information, receiving breast self-examination guidance, TV program and Internet, were found to influence breast care knowledge. Conclusions: In general, female undergraduate students lack of self-awareness of breast care with a low rate of breast self-examination. It is necessary to carry out health education to improve early detection of breast cancer.
The research analyzs characteristics of body types for the Chineses women based on the different life style and to compare the differences of body type with Korean women. The measurement had took in Beijing and Seoul in 1999. As a result of comparing Chinese and Korean women'body measurements, it was found that Chinese women are shorter and obser than Korean women. Besides, chinese arms and upper body are shorter, and their body is thicker compared with their relatively flat chest. After all, Cheinese women'chests are more voluminous, while their shoulders are drooped more, although their shoulder size is almost as same as Korean women'. By used factor analysis, 8 factors were extracted from body measurements : body obesity, vertical body size, ankle and knee sizes, head size, front upper body length, shoulder size, form and size of neck and upper chest, drooping of shoulders, and size of hip. It was found that Chinese college women are obser with larger vertical body length and front upper body length. And their shoulders are more drooped with larger hip. But two nations'female students did not show any differences in the sizes of ankles, knees, head and shoulders.
In order to investigate the eating out behavior of university students, this survey was conducted using the questionaires for 710 students(369 male, 341 female) from 11 universities in Seoul. It was revealed that 39.4% of the subjects spent $60,000{\sim}100,000$ won for monthly eating out cost and 57.8% of them ate out more than once a day. Most of them expended less than 3,500 won for lunch, while 36.5% of them spent $4,000 {\sim}5,000$ won for dinner. Dinner was regarded more important than lunch. Korean foods were the most preferred menu for eating out with friends and fast foods were the second. But Boonsik(snack bar foods), Chinese foods and Japanease foods were rarely selected. Frequency of selecting fast foods was 8 times greater than that of Boonsik. This indicates that the preference of western flavor and the pursuit of convenience is getting more obvious. While dating, western foods were preferred, followed by Korean foods, fast foods. The 80 kinds of foods were reported as favored eating out foods. Although 50 among 80 were Korean foods, the rest of them were Koreanized foreign foods most of those were western style. This may suggest that when the students become adults, they will be much fond of western dish for their dinning out. This tendency of preferring western flavor were much apparent in foods for dinner compared with lunch. In both sexes, the standard of food choice was in the order of taste, price, mood, hygiene, service and brand name. But male students were more conscious of price and service while female students were more concerned about taste and hygiene. Most unsatisfying feature in restaurant was unstable atmosphere for both sexes. Taste was the most important sensory factor in selecting the foods, followed by appearance, smell and texture. Major source of restaurant information was recommendation by friends or relatives. But the use of internet or magazine was negligible. Female students had more positive attitude, compared with male students, in using restaurant information and pursuing eating out for gourmet. The dining out menu of which price ranges about $3,000{\sim}5,000$ won could be preferable foods for most people. Therefore, instead of blaming them for eating too much fast foods, new menus which fit the food preference and affordability of the students should be developed.
This study was designed to understand purchase motivation for clothing, evaluation criteria for clothing, evaluation criteria for stores depending on average monthly expense for clothing among female college students in Yanbian, China. Questionnaire was used for measurement tools to study the subject of the thesis. Each question was rated in 5 point scale, where 1 means 'not at all' and 5 means 'definitely'. The main study was conducted against 300 female college students from May 17 to June 5, 2001. The data for the study were analyzed using SAS PC program for frequency distribution, percentage, t -test. The purchase motivation for clothing, evaluation criteria for clothing, evaluation criteria for stores are affected by average monthly expense for clothing. The result was showed as follows : A significant difference was showed in the purchase motivation, evaluation criteria for clothing, evaluation criteria for stores, preferred stores between lower group and higher group depending on monthly expense on clothing. A meaningful difference was showed in 4 areas'to try a new trend, impulsive buying at the store display, for a change of mood, for stylish appearance'in the purchase motivations for clothing depending on the monthly expense for clothing, in 2 areas'brand, trendy fashion'in evaluation criteria for clothing depending on the monthly expense for clothing, in 3 areas 'after service, hospitality of sales person, brand awareness' in the evaluation criteria for stores depending on the monthly expense for clothing, And Respondents of a high expense group for clothing showed higher means compared to a low expense group for clothing in all areas. A significant difference was showed among groups regarding preferred stores based on the monthly expense on clothing.
China's huge population and industrial diversification have driven increased demand for IoT, and in a social environment where IoT technology is changing all aspects of personal and family life, including smart shopping, this study was conducted in Changchun, China. The study aimed to find ways to meet the Fashion needs of female college students living in the country and promote the development of the fashion product industry by improving the service quality of Chinese fashion product live commerce. The analysis results are as follows. First, the service quality characteristics of Chinese fashion product live commerce had a positive effect on customer satisfaction. Second, the service quality characteristics of Chinese fashion product live commerce had a positive effect on reuse intention. Third, customer satisfaction had a positive effect on reuse intention. Based on these results, it can be concluded that improving the service quality of live commerce can directly promote product sales and create direct economic benefits. In addition, based on the results of the study, which show that the service quality of fashion product live commerce affects customer satisfaction and reuse intention, it is judged that it will provide useful information in establishing marketing strategies for live commerce platforms by region and target.
