1. Objectives This study is about a Soeumin Atopic Dermatitis Patient. In this study, we report the effects of Sasang constitutional treatment to this patient. 2. Methods This patient was treated by Soeumin's constitutional medications and acupunture according to the result of Sasang constitutional diagnosis. 3. Results and Conclusions This patient's chief complaints were edema, palule, erythema, squama and pruritus. By using Gwakhyangjeonggi-san, she showed positive response about her symptom. This study shows that Gwakhyangjeonggi-san has effect to Atopic Dermatitis in Soeumin.

Objectives This study is about a "Taeumin" parkinson's disease patient with bradykinesia, tremor, weakness and dysautonomia etc. In this case, we evaluated the effect of Yuldahanso-tang gagam for parkinson's disease. Methods This patient was treated by Sasang constitutional herbal medication based on "Donguisusebowon". Acupuncture and west medications were used together. We evaluated the clinical progress through two methods, DITI(Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging) and VAS(Visual Analogue Scale). Results During 11months treatment, chief complaints and symptoms of this patient were improved. Conclusions This study shows that Yuldahanso-tang gagam is an effective treatment for "Taeumin" parkinson's disease patients.

1. Objective This study is about a Soeumin patient who had Yul Gyuk similarity with anorexia, nausea, sialism. In this study, we report the effects of Sasang constitutional treatment to this patient. 2. Methods This patient was treated by Soeumin's constitutional medications and acupunture according to the result of Sasang constitutional diagnosis. 3. Results and Conclusions This patient's chief complaints were anorexia, nausea, and sialism. By using Gyejibanhasaenggang-tang mainly, he showed positive response about his symptom. This study shows that Gyejibanhasaenggang-tang has effect to Yul Gyuk similarity in Soeumin.

we clinicallly observed 48 patients with allergic rhinitis who visited Kyoung-Won univ. Oriental hospital from 1996. 3 to 1998. 4. Their chief complaints were nasal obstruction, sneezing, watery rhinorrhea. They were also troubled with itching sensation of eye ball, dryness of nasal cavity or throat, photophobia and lacrimation, ect. The results were as follows: 1. In the classification of Sasang constitution, Taeum-group patients visited most frequently and ,the treatment to the taeum-group patients was most effective. 2. There were no differences between inhalant and climatic factor at the improvement rate of allergic initiator. 3. During the aflected time, the shorter termwas the higher improvement rate was. 4. The patients with no complication were treated better than those who accompanied with other nasal diseases.

A 40-year-old man was admitted with chief complaints of sudden hearing loss, ear fullness and tinnitus of 12 days duration developed following SCUBA diving. An exploratory tympanotomy was done on 16th day of onset, and a small leakage of clear fluid was found on the anterior portion of the stapediovestibular joint, which was sealed off by small piece of fatty tissue from the ear lobe. Postoperatively, his PTA's was improved from 85㏈ to 15㏈, however high tone was remained unchanged above 4KHz. More exploration of the middle ear will be helpful to find the labyrinthine fistula causing sudden type of hearing loss.

This study is aimed to verify effects of Walking in treating hospitalized patients with low back pain in the Korean medicine hospital. The method of this study is choosing patients whose chief complaints were low back pain in the Korean medicine hospital in Gyeonggi Province. People who agreed to take Walking treatment were classified into experimental group and control group. Both experimental group and control group were treated with Korean medicine. In addition, experimental group performed Walking program more often. Changes of temperature difference taken by digital infrared thermal imaging(DITI) were used as measuring tools. The summary of this study's result is as in the following. There was significant difference in the experimental group which performed Walking treatments but not in the control group resulting from examining the change of temperature difference between left and right Yongchon. As known from the results above, Walking program is meaningful in curing the low back pain.

Endodermal sinus tumor[EST] of the mediastinum is a rare germ cell neoplasm. It usually arises from the ovaries and testes but also arises from multiple extragonadal site including the mediastinum. Characteristically, alpha feto protein level is high and used for monitoring the clinical course. EST of the mediastinum is poor prognosis because of its direct invasion. The patient was 18 month old female with chief complaints of cough and fever. In the chest X-ray and CT, large encapsulated, 7x6cm sized, mass of anterior med-iastinum was found, and we could excise it completely because it was well encapsulated and not invaded but only adhered to aortic arch, pericardium and left upper lung. And confirmed it as EST by histopathology. Pre-operative alpha feto protein[AFP] level as 41,748ng/ml and decreased to 2, 663ng /ml at 14th postoperative day, 644ng /ml at 31th postoperative day. From 17th post-operative day, chemotherapy was started and keep going now.

From August 1990 to October 1991, we performed operation on 5 patients with cardiac myxoma, which was located in the left atrium, There was 1 male and 4 female patients ranging in age 45 years to 61 years. Chief complaints included exertional dyspnea, palpitation, cough, orthopnea, general weakness. M-mode and two dimensional echocardiography provided an accurate diagnosis in all cases which was utilized as safe, reliable and noninvasive imaging modalities. In all cases, myxoma was excised successfully. Follow up is current. No recurrent myxoma has been identified clinically or by echocardiography. In this series, excellent results were obtained by simple excision of the tumor, with or without a margin of normal atrial septum.

Primary tumors of the heart are extremely rare, and about 25 per cent of primary cardiac tumors are malignant. Recently, We experienced a case of primary cardiac liposarcoma occurred on the right ventricular outflow tract and extended into the main pulmonary artery. The patient was 57 year-old man and the chief complaints was severe exertional dyspnea. Emergency operation to relieve the right ventricular outflow tract obstruction was performed under cardiopulmonary bypass. The tumor was 5$\times$4$\times$3 cm in size and infiltrated into the right ventricle and ventricular septum. The tumor in the main pulmonary artery was removed without any difficulty but the on the right ventricular outflow tract was difficult to remove completely. The patient was recovered without any specific problems. After successful surgical resection and postoperative radiotherapy the patient discharged with good condition. Herein, the clinical characteristics of cardiac liposarcoma, the problems in differential diagnosis, the prognosis and current therapy are reviewed.

Objectives This case is about a Soyangin cerebellar atrophy patient. In this study, we report the effect of Sasang Constitutional treatment to this patient. Methods This patient was treated by Soyangin's constitutional medications and acupuncture according to the result of Sasang Constitutional diagnosis. We used Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) and Equilibrium Function Test. Results and Conclusions This patient's chief complaints were dizziness. By using Hyeungbangjihwang-tang, she showed positive response about her symptom. This study shows that Hyeungbangjihwang-tang has effect to cerebellar atrophy in Soyangin.
