제주도의 서귀포와 모슬포의 수심 30m 지점에서 채집된 불가사리류를 동정 분류한 결과, 현대목에 속하는 반점검은띠불가사리(Luidia Maculata Muller et Troschel, 1842)와 푸른불가사리(Linckia laevigata Linne. 1758)가 한국 미기록종으로 밝혀져 보고한다. 제주도 해역에 분포하는 불가사리류는 18종이 된다.

제주도에서 채집된 부채게류에서 3종, 작은옴부채게(Novactaea pulchella), 산호숨이부채게(Calvactaea tumida), 털손네톱니부채게(Pilumnopeus granu-latus)가 한국 미기록종으로 판명되어 재기재하고 보고한다. 지금까지 기록된 한국산 부채게상과의 종은 모두 3과 29종이 된다.

1997년부터 1998년 사이에 제주도를 포함한 남해연안의 25개 지점에서 채집된 올챙이새우류를 동정한 결과 4과 13종이 동정되었다. 그들 중 Nannastacidae (꼬마올챙이새우)과에 속하는 3 한국미기록종, Campylaspis pumila Gamo, 1960, Cumella alveata Gamo, 1964 그리고 Cumella glaberata Gamo, 1962가 확인되어 보고한다. 이들 가운데에, C. alveata의 암컷에 관한 기재는 학계에 처음으로 보고되는 것이다. 또한 이들 3종의 구기부에 관한 새로운 정보를 추가한다.

This study was made on the relationships among production structures, biomass and Soil proper-ties of grassland types in Chejudo. The results of this investigation were obtained as foolows. The annual productions of the grasslands of Zoysio, Imperata, Themede, Miscanthus and Pteridium types were 40.36~144.00, 168.28~272.44, 58.24~138.44, 156.12 ~714. 12 and 157. 18~398.40g /m$^2$, respectively. The production structures of those grassland types were different from one another. The water contents, organic matter, total nitrogen and available phosphorus were different levels between grasslands had a simple correlation at 5% level and the organic matter contents were a higher significant at the partial correlation. 제주도 주변 해역에 대한 많은 해수 특성 연구와 최근의 해류 관측 결과들은 제주도 서쪽 및 북쪽 해안에 연중 존재하는 시계 방향의 잔류가 있 음을 시사해 준 다. 제주도 동편 해역에서는 쓰시마 해류가 북쪽과 북동쪽으로 흐른다. 이 논문에서 는 2차원 비선형 천해방정식의 수치해로부터 구한 제주도 주변의 조석 잔차류가 관 측된 잔류를 어떻게 설명할 수 있는 가를 고찰하였다. 계산된 조석 잔차류는 섬 주 위에서 우선 회순환을 나타내며 섬 주위의 해저 경사 위에서만 2-4cm.s$^{-1}$의 크기로 현저히 나타나고 섬에서 멀리 떨어진 외해에서는 무시할 정도로 작다. 또한 제주도 주변의 잔류 순환에 대한 쓰시마 해류의 영향을 보기 위해 모델에 항류를 도입하여 수치 실험을 시도 하였다. 이러한 수치 실험 결과, 조석 잔차류와 쓰시마 해류에 기인된 항류의 복합된 효과가 제주도 서쪽 및 북쪽 해안에서 관측된 우선회 잔류와 섬의 동쪽 해역의 북향류를 잘 설명할 수 있음이 밝혀졌다.

1997년 8월에 거제도의 거미상을 조사하였다. 그 결과 20과 56속 92종을 채집하였으면 꼬마거미과, 왕거미과 그리고 늑대거미과 등이 우점종이고 일반적으로 일본산과 공통적인 종이 82종 (90.1%), 중국산과 공통적인 종이 75종(82.4%)으로 조사되었다. 또한 거제도와 덕적군도, 제주도, 울릉도, 진도, 백령도, 고금도의 거미상과 비교하여 그 유사성을 조사하였다.

1994년부터 1999년까지 한국의 거제도와 제주도에서 채집 (SCUBA)된 다골해면류를 동정ㆍ분류한 결과 왜핀셋해면 (Forcepia japonica)과 덮게크렐라해면 (Crella incrustans)의 두 종이 한국 미기록종으로 밝혀져 보고한다.

남해도와 인근해의 해산 태형동물 27종을 보고하며, 이중에서 줄항아리이끼벌레(Hippothoa distans)는 한국미기록종이다. 이들 중 23종은 제주도 해역에도 분포하는 종이고 10종은 동해에도 분포하고 있었다. 이와 같은 사실은 남해도의 태형동물 분포상이 쓰시마난류와 북한한류의 영향을 받고 있음을 나타낸다.

Chejudo, because of its location off the south coast of the Korean peninsula, has a varied marine mollusk fauna. As a preliminary step in an attempt to enumerate and study the mollusks of the island, a field trip was made by the authors to the Songsan Ilchulbang area on february 20, 2001. The purpose of the trip was to survey the mollusk fauna of the shoreline west of Songsan. (omitted)
