An electromagnetic flowmeter(EMF) was developed and its characteristics were compared with a commercial EMF. The developed EMF was designed as the 100 mm nominal diameter. A signal processing circuit was also developed for generating the magnetic field and converting the flow signal to flowrate and flow quantity. In order to obtain a more stable and reliable flow signal, the double magnetizing frequency was adopted for magnetizing the coil of the EMF. For the characterization of the developed EMF, the uncertainty of calibrator was estimated within $\pm$0.5 %. The evaluation procedure of the uncertainty followed the ISO Guide to the Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement. It was found that the flow signals between the electrodes were about $\pm$60-$\pm$300$\mu$V, which were sufficient for the discrimination of flowmeter and the protection of noise. The test results against the calibrator showed the good linearity in the range of 3 ㎥/h and 70 ㎥/h. A commercialized design of the EMF based on the current study will be technically more competitive in domestic and foreign market.

Perception between real object and recognized subject of human on objective subject is not the same. The reason Is that individual perception of visual design components are transmitted as the image of whole. It is required process of visual perception. Therefore, I developed the vision of seeing image of pattern which is based on Gestalt visual perception theory in clothes. The summary of this study's results is like followings. Extremely antagonistic terms which are specialized by formative characteristics of formative components are clearness and blur of outline/ fixed shape and non-fixed shape/ visuality and tangibility of representation/ simplicity and complexity of structure/ invariability and variability of mobility/ symmetry and asymmetry of arrangements singularity and plurality of group number. The expression of motive shows that clearness, fixed shape, visuality and simplicity pursuit Determination image, and blur, non-fixed shape, tangibility and complexity pursuit Ambiguity image. The arrangements of motive shows that invariability, symmetry and singularity pursuit Order image, and variability asymmetry and plurality pursuit Disorder image. Therefore, the standard of the coordinator of Pattern image positioning is established as Determination and Ambiguity of motive are X-axis, and Order and Disorder of pattern are Y-axis. As the frame of Pattern image positioning, four separated dimensions have made.

This study concentrates on the relationship between the early 20th century italian artists and their works in the field of clothing design. They advocated the creation of art for life and introduced a new type of work of art which I will call 'experimental clothing for art'. The experimental clothing for art showed its dynamic characteristics in the field s of line and form, color, pattern, and material. The Italian artists made simple and functionalistic dresses, using asymmetric, geometric cuts. in pattern making. They employed dynamic patterns in textile design and favored brilliant colors which they debunked as storage and traditional. With regard to material, they used unusual materials such as metal, net, wire, and paper and inexpensive materials. To investigations of the visual expression of experimental clothing for art in Italy have led us to the internal expressions which are avant-garde, dynamic & speed, functionality & popularity, ephemeral & transformable, and warlike. As a result of the reflection of the times and the artists's will and roles the experimental clothing for art in Italy implicated contemporary clothing in the early twentieth century and it was only laboratory art that underwent various experiments in canvas but a model of efforts for the at of living, which was anti-traditional. It offered a new future and created a new environment. It is left for future research how the experimental clothing for art developed in countries other than Italian.

This study is to organize the frame of measuring inventory for housing quality related to mental health in foreign literature reviews. In the first step, many housing quality contents or items are extracted from empirical studies, including housing environment quality and mental health. In the next step, extracted contents and items are classified by space scope (house and neighborhood unit) and WHO housing properties (safety & security, health & sanitation, efficiency/convenience, comfort/amenity). Almost all housing properties follow the WHO standard, but some properties, sustainability and economic characteristics, do not follow the standard. These reflect on current Korean housing environment. They are energy saving and environment friendly effort, property value and economic burden, identity expression, and school district. So they need to be added to the Korean housing quality measurement related to mental health.

Superimposition is a transforming technique that can facilitate the creation. Superimposition in previous studies, however, has only been fragmentary described as an expression technique, so the studies have not been conducted on the basis of its aesthetic value. The purpose of this study is to investigate how superimposition is applied and expressed in terms of forms of modern fashion based on multi-dimensional features of design processing. The codes of togetherness, ambivalence, sense of space and tension in dress were determined by using the expressional Superimposition. The forms of superimposition were limited to superimposition of clothing, superimposition of body and clothing and superimposition of body and Phenomenal body. This study found that superimposition has developed, in fashion forms/types, a new 'form' by overlapping various forms and thus provides a visual shock and a sense of mystery by using mismatched and arbitrary properties among the forms. Such a superimposition influences a methodology of fashion design through a designer's subjective tendencies, as well as influences a change in the view of the world. Also, a superimposition is expected to have a definite influence on new fashion trends.

This study researched the changes in everyday wear in China since the mid-20th century. The study was conducted by interviewing 13 Chinese persons who were familiar with the public awareness and donning practices of the Chinese from 1949 to now, and the results were analyzed through categorical analysis and subject analysis. First of all, due to the influences of Zhongshan-zhuang, Liening-zhuang and Bulaji, political characteristics were represented the most during the reconstruction time, and during this time, Jieyueling also became famous. Second, during the period of the Cultural Revolution, the government used many mechanisms to control people's thought, so Junfu/Junbianfu and sailor shirt were the most common clothing. Third, information from the West began to enter the Chinese market and it started to influence and change the Chinese thinking. Suit, bat wing sleeves, colorful skirt, flares and jeans became more and more popular in the reform and open times. Fourth, during the personality expression time, people not only copied fashion icons' styles, but also created new styles like sexy, cute, ethnic, K-pop, street, and DIY style, in order to show their personality. Finally, during these 60 years, the changes of Chinese everyday wear were characterized by de-politicization, ready-made, diversification and individualization.

A single-phase tapped-inductor boost converter has been proposed previously. However, detailed characterization and performance analysis were not conducted. This paper presents a detailed characterization, performance analysis, and design expressions of a single-phase tapped-coupled-inductor boost converter. Expressions are derived for average and RMS input current as well as for RMS input and output capacitor current ripple. A systematic approach for sizing the tapped-coupled inductor, active switch, and output diode is presented; such approach has not been reported in related literature. This study reveals that sizing of the inductor has to be based on current ripple requirement, turns ratio, and load. Conditions that produce discontinuous inductor current are also discussed. Analysis of a non-ideal converter operating in continuous conduction mode is also conducted. The expression for the voltage ratio considering the coupling coefficient is derived. The suitability of the converter for high-voltage step-up applications is evaluated. Factors that affect the voltage boost ratio are also identified. The effects of duty ratio and load variation on the performance of the converter are also investigated. The theoretically derived characteristics are validated through simulations. Experimental results obtained at a low power level are included to validate the analytical and simulation results. A good agreement is observed among the analytical, simulation, and experimental results.

Fashion needs to be understood as practicality and creative behavior and various movements of paintings act as inspirations of original design for fashion designers. This study seeks to find sources of fashion designs in the works of Mark Rothko who is in the center of color-field abstract. Color-field of Rothko provides infinite inspirations as colors are identically treated as shapes and lighting and textures are all included on top of it. In this study, the purpose is to create color focused artistic fashion design by exploring the possibility of expression with the colors of Rothko as the main motive. The study method is as follows. First, the concept and significance of color-field abstract are researched through documented data. Works of Rothko is divided into three periods according to their characteristics. The background of the formation of color-field abstract of Rothko is understood by analyzing the trends of the works in each period. Second, twenty representative works from 1949 to 1969 are selected and analyzed in formative components of color, shape and textures in order to more accurately understand shape of colors, brilliance, simplicity that appear in the mature color-field abstract of Rothko. Third, preexisting methods of color-field of paintings developed into motives of clothing are studied focusing on the collections from 1997 to 2006. Examples of applications of color-field images in modern fashion designs are analyzed. Fourth, motives are selected based on general characteristics of color-field abstract of Rothko and the results of the formative analysis. Clothing is produced that expresses the colors of the paintings of Rothko more effectively. As the results of the study, restrained shapes and textures and various forms of color combinations shown in color-field abstract of Rothko provided deep inspirations on material composition and color planning for fashion design focused on colors. Additionally, needle-punching technique using wool for the production technique enabled relief texture expressions of materials by colors and effective applications of soft and warm atmosphere of color-field abstract of Rothko on clothing. Especially, the ideology of color-field abstract of Rothko of shaping of colors could be expressed and the direction of the development of motives could be presented at the same time by specifically applying color combination method using horizontal division of atypical color-field from the formative characteristics of color-field abstract of Rothko.

This study verified what differences in screen golf content characteristics, intention to reuse, customer satisfaction and economic value experienced by consumers according to the image feeling, expression method, and image color provided by screen golf graphic content. In addition, the purpose of this study was to analyze what kind of influence the content characteristics of screen golf have on the economic value and what kind of influence the intention to reuse and customer satisfaction have in this process. From September 1, 2021 to September 30, 2021, a survey of 225 copies of consumers using the screen golf course was conducted. For data processing, frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, cluster analysis, chi-square analysis and 3-step mediated regression analysis were performed. The research results are as follows. First, the preferred image feeling showed a high level of clean and sophisticated feeling and the preferred expression method showed a high realistic image. In addition, the preferred image color showed a high level of green color. Second, there were differences in competitiveness, ease of use, sense of solidarity and realism according to the degree of consideration of graphic content and differences in consumer's intention to reuse, customer satisfaction, and economic value. Third, in the relationship between screen golf content characteristics and economic value, customer satisfaction and re-use intention had a mediating effect. Through this study, by providing basic data to derive the graphic design model of screen golf, the operating entity suggested a way to improve economic benefits and tried to contribute to the growth of the screen golf industry.

Today, as a means of online communication, the use of emoticons is activated in SNS. Emoticon is an important element to share impact effects and fun together with various content design attempts. In this paper, we analyze the expression patterns changed through development process of emoticons, and analyze characteristics and effects of emoticons which are combined with traditional culture among the types of emoticons currently used.
