지반 및 원형기초의 특성이 기초의 동적거동에 미치는 영향 (Dependency of Dynamic Behavior of Circular Foundation on Ground and Foundation Characteristics)

  • 지반 및 원형기초의 물성이 그 기초의 수직 동적거동에 미치는 영향이 해석적 해와 수치해석을 통해 연구되었다. 해석적 해로는 반무한체 지반 위 원형기초의 거동을 나타내는 간략 해가, 수치해석방법으로는 선대칭 유한요소법이 consistent transmitting 경계조건과 함께 사용되었다. 균일한 지반의 물성으로서의 전단파속도는 원형기초 동적거동의 공명진동수에 영향을 주었으나 공명진동시의 최대반응값에는 영향을 미치지 않았다. 같은 경우에 지반의 밀도는 공명진동수와 최대반응값에 모두 영향을 주었다. 균일한 지반 위 원형기초의 크기와 질량도 원형기초 동적거동의 공명진동수와 최대반응값 모두에 영향을 주었으나 균일 지반의 포아송비는 큰 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 지반이 균일하지 않고 층이 존재할 경우에 각 층의 물성으로의 전단파속도들의 상관관계는 원형기초의 최대반응값에 영향을 주었다.

  • Recently construction work in Korea, demands of favorable condition ground had been increased with industrialization acceleration and economic growth. However, because of limited land space, it was so hard to ensure favorable condition grounds that construction work proceeds until soft ground area on plans of road, railroad and industrial complex. In this case, soft ground improvement was required such as a stone column method. Stone column method, making a compaction pile using crushed stone, is a soft ground improvement method. However, stone column method is difficult to apply to the ground which is not mobilized enough lateral confine pressure because no bulging failure resistance. Hence, in present study, evaluates the stone columns reinforced by geogrid for settlement reduction and wide range of application of stone columns. Triaxial compression tests were conducted for evaluation which is about behavior characteristics of stone column on replacement rate. Then, 3-dimensional numerical analysis were conducted for application of stone column reinforced by geogrid as evaluate behavior characteristics and settlement reduction effect of stone column reinforced by geogrid on reinforcing depth change of geogrid.

해안구조물 축조를 위한 해양연약지반의 강제치환 특성에 관한 원심모형실험 (Centrifuge Model Tests on Characteristics in Forced Replacement Method for Soft Ocean Ground to Build Coastal Structures)

  • This paper shows theresults of centrifuge model experiments to investigate the behavior of a replacement method in dredged and reclaimed ground. For this experimental work, centrifuge model tests were carried out to investigate the behavior of a replacement method in soft clay ground. Basic soil property tests were performed to find the mechanical properties of clay soil sampled from the southern coast of Korea, which was used for the ground material in the centrifuge model tests. The reconstituted clay ground of the model was prepared by applying reconsolidntion pressure in a 1 g condition with a specially built model container. Centrifuge model tests were carried out under the artificially accelerated gravitational level of 50 g. Replacement material of lead with a certain degree of angularity was used and placed until the settlement of the replacement material embankment reached a state of equilibrium. Vertical displacement of the replacement material was monitored during tests. The depth and shape of the replacement, especially the slope of the penetrated material and the water content of the clay ground were measured after finishing tests. Model tests for investigating the stability of an embankment after backfilling were also performed to simulate the behavior of a dike treated with replacement and backfilled with sandy material. As a result of the centrifuge model test, the behavior of the replacement, the mechanism of the replacement material being penetrated into clay ground, and the depth of the replacement were evaluated.

비정상 흐름장의 인공어초 침하특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (A Study of Artificial Reef Subsidence in Unsteady Flow Field)

  • The subsidence characteristics of artificial reef in the unsteady flow such as tidal flow were investigated. The scour and subsidence characteristics were confirmed in the steady flow field, wave field and steady flow-wave field. In a main study, the interaction of Flow-Sediment Movement-Structure Behavior and scour.subsidence mechanism were discussed in the unsteady flow field and the unsteady flow-wave field. Most of all, the continuous artificial reef subsidence from the scour was occurred by periodic behavior of artificial reef. This behavior is result from the asymmetric ground, and is influenced by maximum velocity, duration time and direction of flow.

복합지반의 침하에 대한 영향인자의 평가 (Evaluation of the Influence Factor on the Settlement of Composition Ground)

  • 쇄석말뚝은 느슨한 사질토지반이나 점토지반에 치환법에 의해 다져진 자갈이나 쇄석을 연약한 지반에 삽입하여 개량하는 공법이다. 쇄석말뚝 공법은 흙과 말뚝 접촉면에서 압밀거동이 다양한 인자에 의해 영향을 받게 되어 정량적인 해석에 많은 어려움이 있다. 본 연구에서는 재하시험을 통해 선단지지 군말뚝의 거동에 대한 다양한 인자의 영향을 조사하였다. 궁극적으로 연약지반의 개량 특성과 설계인자의 영향력을 PR값을 사용하여 평가하였다. 실험결과와 계산된 PR 값으로부터 쇄석말뚝의 침하거동이 근입비나 매트의 설치여부 보다는 말뚝의 직경이나 복합지반의 치환율에 의해 영향을 받고 있음을 알 수 있다.

  • 산업시설이 국가 경제에 기여하는 바를 고려할 때 지진에 대한 운전성 확보는 매우 중요하다. 그러나, 현행 내진설계의 기본 개념은 대규모 지진에 대해 주로 시설물의 연성거동을 허용하며 붕괴방지를 목적으로 구조적인 안전성만을 고려한다. 산업시설의 운전성 확보를 위해, 산업시설물의 구조거동 특성에 따라 운전성을 유지하기 위한 내진성능수준이 다양할 수 있으며, 이를 만족하기 위한 내진설계방법이 필요하다.본 연구에서는 평저형 저장탱크에 대한 비선형 응답이력 해석으로 비선형 지진거동 특성(R-μ-T)을 분석하고 이를 바탕으로 신뢰도 기반의 성능기반 내진설계 방법을 새롭게 제안하였다.

  • In this study, visualization of in-cylinder spray behavior and spark channel stretching by air flow characteristics depending on engine operating conditions were investigated. For in-cylinder spray behavior, increase in engine rpm did not alter the counter-clockwise air flow direction and location of in-cylinder dominant air flow but increased average air flow velocity, which hindered spray propagation parallel to the piston surface. When injection timing was retarded, direction of in-cylinder dominant air flow was changed, and average air flow velocity was reduced resulting in an increase in spray penetration length and change in direction. For spark channel stretching, increase in air flow speed did not affect spark channel stretch direction but affected length due to increase in spark channel resistance and limitation of energy ignition coil can handle. Change in air flow direction affected spark channel stretch direction where the air flow was obstructed by ground electrode which caused spark channel direction to occur in the opposing direction of air flow. It also affected spark channel stretch length due to change in air flow speed around the spark plug electrode from the interaction between the air flow and ground electrode.

Sheet Pile 설치에 따른 SCP개량지반의 거동 (Behavior of SCP Improved Ground with Installation of Sheet Pile)

  • The paper is to show the behavior of composit ground which is installed with sheet pile in soft soil improved by sand compaction pile. The results of load-settlement relationship, earth pressure, stress concentration characteristics, and final water content were obtained by centrifuge model test. Two cases of tests, installation of sheet pile on the corner and both side of the loading plate for the improved SCP ground which was designed twice of the footing width, were performed for the tests under the vertical and horizontal loading and both side of corner. Finite element program(CRISP) for sand compaction pile using elasto-plastic model and numerical analysis for soft soil using modified cam-clay constitutive equation were compared and analized with the results of model tests. The result of analysis show the increased bearing capacity of soil after, SCP and sheet pile was installed.

  • Inelastic model of Second Jindo Bridge is investigated to perform nonlinear dynamic analyses with various earthquake ground motions. The modal analysis is performed to obtain dynamic characteristics of the bridge and verify the model. It proves that the model has an appropriate dynamic characteristic and its natural frequency is relatively low. Four ground motions are chosen for time history dynamic analyses; El Centro, Kobe, Taft, and Mexico earthquake. Each ground motion multiplied by specified factors to investigate damages of the structure. The analyses prove that responses of the bridge depend on the duration time and the frequency characteristics of ground motion, not only peak acceleration. Static push-over analysis of steel pylon shows that the dynamic analysis over-estimates the seismic behavior of steel pylon definitely. Nonlinear spring hinge model is suggest to improve the shortage of the inelastic model could not deliberate local buckling damage. According to the time history analysis of nonlinear spring hinge model, it is proved that the inelastic beam element analysis overestimate the seismic capacity of steel pylon unquestionably with a large amount of errors.

수평하중이 작용하는 단독말뚝의 배면지반의 저항거동 특성 (Behavior of Back Ground of the Laterally Loaded Single Pile)

  • 본 연구에서는 균질 지반에 매설된 단독말뚝에 수평하중이 작용할 경우 말뚝 배면지반에서 발생되는 여러 가지 거동 특성, 즉 말뚝 배면지반의 변형영역, 파괴면의 경사각, 그리고 회전절점과 같은 거동 특성을 모형실험을 통하여 규명하고자 모형실험을 수행하였다. 이는 말뚝의 휨력에 대한 저항력 산정에 매우 중요한 사항이다. 그 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 수평하중이 작용하는 단독말뚝 배면지반에서 쐐기 파괴면은 거의 선형적인 거동 특성을 나타내고, 말뚝과 파괴면이 이루는 경사각은 말뚝 길이, 말뚝 두부의 변위에 상관없이 지반의 상대밀도 증가에 따라 조금씩 증가하다 일정한 값으로 수렴하는 경향을 나타낸다.
