직접토크제어에 의한 리럭턴스 동기전동기의 고성능 제어시스템 (A High-Performance Control System of Reluctance Synchronous Motor with Direct Torque Control)

  • This paper presents a high-performance control system for Reluctance Synchronous Motor (RSM) drives with direct torque control (DTC). The system consist of stator flux observer, rotor position/speed estimator, torque estimator, two hysteresis band controllers, an optimal switching look-up table, IGBT voltage source inverter, and F240/C31DSP controller by using fully integrated control software. The stator flux observer is based on the combined voltage and current model with stator flux feedback adaptive control that inputs are current and voltage sensing of motor terminal with estimated rotor angle for wide speed range. The rotor position is estimated by the observed stator flux-linkage space vector. The estimated rotor speed can be determinated by differentiation of the rotor position used only in the current model part of the flux observer for a low speed operating area. To prove the suggested control algorithm, we have a simulation and testing at actual experimental system. The developed digitally high-performance position sensorless control system are shown a good motion control response characteristic results and high performance features using 1.0Kw RSM.

  • This paper presents a digital speed sensorless control system for Reluctance Synchronous Motor (RSM) drives with direct torque control (DTC).   • Gate poly-silicon critical dimension is a prime characteristic of a metal-oxide-semiconductor field effect transistor. It is important to achieve the uniformity of gate poly-silicon critical dimension in order that a semiconductor device has acceptable electrical test characteristics as well as a semiconductor wafer fabrication process has a competitive net-die-per-wafer yield. However, on gate poly-silicon critical dimension, the complexity associated with a semiconductor wafer fabrication process entails hierarchical variance components according to run-to-run, wafer-to-wafer and even die-to-die production unit changes. Specifically, estimates of the hierarchical variance components are required not only for disclosing dominant sources of the variation but also for testing the wafer-level uniformity. In this paper, two experimental designs, a two-stage nested design and a randomized complete block design are considered in order to estimate the hierarchical variance components. Since gate poly-silicon critical dimensions are collected from fixed die positions within wafers, a factor representing die positions can be regarded as fixed in linear statistical models for the designs. In this context, the two-stage nested design also checks the wafer-level uniformity taking all sampled runs into account. In more detail, using variance estimates derived from randomized complete block designs, Duncan's multiple range test examines the wafer-level uniformity for each run. Consequently, a framework presented in this study could provide guidelines to practitioners on estimating the hierarchical variance components and testing the wafer-level uniformity in parallel for any characteristics concerned in semiconductor wafer fabrication processes. Statistical analysis is illustrated for an experimental dataset from a real pilot semiconductor wafer fabrication process.

음향방출기법을 이용한 열교환기 누설검출시스템 개발 (Development of Leak Detection System of Heat Exchanger using Acoustic Emission Technique)

  • Acoustic emission(AE) technique has been applied to not only mechanical property testing but also on-line monitoring of the entire structure or a limit zone only. Although several AE devices have already been developed for on-line monitoring, the price of these systems is very high and it is difficult for the field to apply yet. In this study, we developed a specially designed PC-based leak detection system using A/D board. In this paper, AE technique has been applied to detect leak for heat exchanger by analyzing the characteristics of signal obtained from leak. It was confirmed that the characteristics of the signal generated by the turbulence of gas in the heat exchanger is narrow band signal having between 130-250kHz. Generally, the amplitude of leak signal is increased as the leak size increasing, but showed no significant change at frequency characteristic. Leak source location can be found by determining for the paint of highest signal amplitude by comparing with several fixed sensors. In this paper, AE results are compared with the PC-based leak detection system using A/D board.

  • 초음파탐상법을 이용하여 마이크로미터의 크기 작은 결함을 검출하기 위해서는 높은 공진주파수와 큰 분해능의 초음파 변환기가 필요하다. 초음파 변환기의 공진주파수와 분해능은 변환기에 사용된 압전소자의 두께, 후면재 및 탐상 시스템 간의 전기 임피던스 정합과 밀접한 관련이 있으며, 이 중 전기 임피던스 매칭은 초음파 변환기와 초음파탐상 시스템 사이의 서로 다른 입 출력단을 연결하는 과정에서, 두 연결단의 전기적 임피던스 차이에 의한 에너지 반사와 손실을 줄이는 중요한 역할을 한다. 임피던스 정합에서 흔히 많이 사용하는 방법은 LC-정합회로이다. 이러한 LC-정합을 통해 탐상 시스템과 초음파 변환기의 전기 임피던스를 $50{\Omega}$으로 맞추어 두 연결단 사이의 임피던스 차이를 보정해 줌으로서 초음파 변환기에서 발생되는 전기신호의 손실을 줄 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 15 MHz의 공진주파수를 가지는 광대역 수침형 초음파 탐촉자를 제작하고 광대역 특성을 갖는 초음파 변환기를 위한 LC 임피던스 정합법을 적용하였다.

고속철도차량용 팬터그래프의 공력특성 평가를 위한 실모형 풍동시험 (A Real-scale Wind Tunnel Testing on a Pantograph for High-speed Train to Assess the Aerodynamic Characteristics)

  • 본 연구에서는 고속주행 시 팬터그래프에 가해지는 공기역학적 특성을 평가하기 위하여 고속철도차량용 실모형 팬터그래프에 대한 풍동시험을 수행하였다. 시험에 사용된 풍동은 공군사관학교의 중형아음속풍동으로서 폭 3.5m $\times$ 높이 2.45m $\times$ 길이 8.8m의 시험부를 가지며, 시험 모형은 하단의 차체부착용 브라켓에서 50cm의 수직 스트럿을 통해 풍동 바닥면에 지지되어 자유류가 시험부 바닥을 지나면서 성장하는 경계층의 영향을 제거하였다. 시험모델은 표준높이와 최소높이 및 풍동의 시험부를 고려한 최대높이에 대하여 정상주행방향 및 역방향 시의 조건을 바꾸어가며 수행되었다. 각각의 조건에 대해서 팬터그래프가 가선에 미치는 압상력을 측정하였으며, 시험 조건에 따른 압상력의 변화에 대하여 분석하였다.

  • MEMS를 적용한 추진기관용 점화안전장치를 설계하고 제작하였다. MEMS는 일반적인 기계요소 설계 방식을 따라 설계하였다. 제작된 시료에 대한 검사 결과와 설계 데이터를 비교해 본 결과 스프링의 비선형 요소에 의한 영향과 가공오차 등으로 인하여 설계된 성능 값과 근사한 차이를 나타냈다. MEMS가 결합된 점화안전장치의 성능 시험을 실시함으로써 MEMS 적용 가능성을 입증하였다.

  • This paper presents the derivation of model parameters against a comparatively small industrial power plant, and validates its model parameters using the stored data measured at the time of on-site generator characteristic testing. Dynamic models such as generator, excitation system, and turbine/governor are mainly dealt in this paper. For the purpose of validation of derived model parameters, the measured results are compared with simulation results. Those of the comparisons between measured results and simulation results show good match.

  • When designing an engine part the designer has to choose the proper material and to define the dimensions of the part. in the most rudimentary case he has available as guidelines the collective experience from similar applications. The performance of the part is tested on occasion of the trial runs for the full system, and possibly occurring deficiencies are corrected until a satisfactory usable life and safety of operation is achieved. This procedure is time consuming and costly, and the learning effect is minimal. These requirements have to be condensed into characteristic values ameanable to computation. Since testing and computation are complementary we have to look at the currently existing mathematical models for engine bearing performance.
