This paper proposes a method of detecting the license plates of vehicles. The proposed technology applicable to different formats of license plates detects the numbers by standardizing the images at edge points. Specifically, in accordance with the format of each license plate, the technology captures the image in the character segment, and compares it against the sample model to derive their similarity and identify the numbers. Characters with high similarities are used to form a group of candidates and to extract the final characters. Analyzing the experimental results found the similarity of the extracted characters exceeded 90%, whereas that of less identifiable numbers was markedly lower. Still, the accuracy of the extracted characters with the highest similarity was over 80%. The proposed technology is applicable to extracting the character patterns of certain formats in diverse and useful ways.

There are various kinds of patterns on Li brocade textile of Hainan province in China. Those patterns are rich and colorful. Li (黎族) traditional brocade is an ancient exquisite craftsmanship and a world cultural heritage. This study analyzed and categorized Li brocade pattern of traditional Chinese textiles. Li (黎族) traditional brocade is an ancient exquisite craftsmanship. Based on the research of classifications of Li brocade patterns, expound the application of women's costume. The patterns of Li brocade textile of Hainan province analyzed through three levels: design transforming, meaning prolongation, and refining spirit. The patterns were explored the feasibility way to inherit the patterns of Li brocade for the modern fashion product design. The results showed that Li brocade textile pattern of Hainan province were images sourced from local environment and geographical terrain. They contained the nation's history memory, religion, hope for life of the Li nationality. Those patterns can be categorized as human figure pattern, animal pattern, geometric pattern, appliance or architecture pattern, and Chinese character pattern.

In this research, adapted was the 'Image Layered Technique(ILT)' to determine the character-line of the nose. Moreover, to derive the image of the front and side views of the nose, analyzed were the heads of animals and transportations. Presented was the pattern with the image to determine the volume with a front outline. Also, the image to be suggested to 'ILT' was applied to a front character design.

The Purposes of this study were to find complementary connectible new factors that analyzed correlation relate of Sasang Constitution and GCM Body Type in Static Posture and Dynamic Hyper/Hypo-mobility Pattern. Method of this study was asymtomatic volunteers 232(unmarried man and women), conducted from September 1 to December 31. In this main study progressing step diagnosised first, Constitution of Sasang medicine after being classified into four groups of Soyangin, Taeumin, Soeumin, Taeyangin diagnosis of GCM Body Type and progressed that related Static Posture and Dynamic Hyper/Hypo mobility Pattern. The results are as follows. Distribution of Sasang Medicine Constitution proved to be Taeyangin 13, Soyangin 66, Taeumin 67, Soeumin 86 respectively. Distribution of GCM Body Type proved I Body Type 72(31.0%), II Body Type 54(23.3%), III Body Type 89(38.4%), IV Body Type 17(7.3%). The distribution of Sasang Constitution according to GCM Body Type was that; I Body Type was distributed in the order Soeumin 34.7%(25), Taeumin 31.9%(23), Soyangin 30.6%(22), Soeumin 34.7%(25) is the most people. II Body Type was distribution of in the order Soeumin 42.6%(23), Soyangin 5.9%(14), Taeumin 24.1%(13), Soeumin 42.6%(23) is the most people. III Body Type was distribution of in the order Soeumin 37.1%(33), Taeumin 30.3%(27), Soyangin 28.1%(25), Soeumin 37.1% is the most people. IV Body Type proved high distribution each of Soeumin 29.4%(5) and Soyangin 29.4%(5). In case of main left side posture character of spine and limbs about I Body Type 72 persons with left scapular and ilium forward tilted pattern proved in the order high distribution iliac crest thigh and scapular high 70(97.2%), gluteal fold high and scapular abduction 69(95.8%), lumbar scoliosis 65(90.3%). Also, in case of right side posture character proved in the order high distribution deep gluteal fold 69(95.8%), umbilical deviation 68(94.4%). Incase of main left side posture character of spine and limbs about n Body Type 54 persons proved in the: order high distribution knee hyperextension 50(92.6%), shoulder deviation 49(90.7%) etc. Also, in case of right side posture character proved in the order high distribution pelvic deviation 53(98.1%), iliac crest thigh 52(96.3%), hip flexion and ankle inversion 51(94.4%) etc. In case of main left side posture character of spine and limbs about III Body Type 89 persons proved in the order high distribution shoulder deviation 87(97.8%), scapular abduction 86(96.6%), scapular high 85(95.5%) etc. And in case of right side posture character proved in the order high distribution pelvic deviation and iliac crest thigh 86(96.6%) etc. In case of main left side posture character of spine and limbs about IV Body Type 17 persons proved in the order high distribution pelvic deviation, lumbar sciliosis and lumbar lordosis increase 15(88.2%) etc. Also, in case of right side posture character proved in the order high distribution wrist dorsiflexion 16(94.1%), thickened achilles tendon etc.

본 연구는 시트 커버지로 선호하는 직물의 특성을 파악하고자 하였다. 직물디자인의 평가 요소 중 pattern에 초점을 맞추었으며 부수적으로 색상에 대한 선호도 평가를 수행하였다. 직물 pattern 디자인은 PP(Primitive pattern)와 RPU(Repeated pattern unit)의 세부항목에 대한 평가를 통해 전체 직물패턴에 대한 평가가 가능하다. Pattern 특징 평가를 위한 1차 설문에서 소재와 색상의 요인들의 영향을 최소화하기 위해 sample 직물을 gray-scale image로 제시하여 세부항목을 평가하였다. 1차 설문결과로써 pattern 특성을 대표하는 4개의 직물샘플을 선정하였다. 2차 설문에서 4개의 대표 sample을 열차용 시트에 rendering 하여 선호도 평가를 수행하였으며, 색상 선호도 평가는 5가지 색상 군집에 대한 선호를 평가하였다. 선호도 평가 결과 시트 커버지로 선호하는 직물의 특징은 PP의 특징에 상관없이 RPU의 돌출성이 적은 pattern이었다 또한 색상은 초록색과 파랑색을 선호하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 추후 이러한 결과를 통한 시트 커버 직물의 디자인 및 선택이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

요즘은 브랜드전쟁의 시대라고 한다. 정보와 기술발달에 의한 21세기 시장환경 하에서 기업간 경쟁요소와 소비자의 선택기준이 변화함에 따라 브랜드자산은 기업의 가치를 결정하는 중요한 요소로 등장하게 되었다. 소비자의 머릿속에 브랜드의 변별력을 제고하는 방법으로써 TV광고를 통한 브랜드광고에서의 캐릭터 사용은 일반적이고 유용한 방법으로 오래전부터 활용되어 왔다. 마케팅차원에서 브랜드의 인지도를 높이는 수단으로서 캐릭터의 역할과 가능성을 좀더 상세히 알아보고 미국 광고대행사인 FCB사의 그리드 모델을 통해 TV광고에서의 카테고리별 캐릭터 사용패턴과 관여도와의 상관관계를 분석해 보았다. 또한 캐릭터 사용소재별 분석, 그리고 표현양식에 따른 분석을 통해 최근의 카테고리별 캐릭터 사용태도와 기법 등을 조사하였다.

본 논문에서는 흑백 CCD 카메라로부터 입력되는 2가지 인쇄체(바탕, 돋움) 영문자를 인식하여 편집 가능한 텍스트 형식으로 변환하는 시스템을 구현하였다. 입력된 인쇄체 영어 문장 영상을 이진화 처리 후. 히스토그램 기법을 적용하여 수평 투영으로 각 문장의 행을 분리하고 수직 투영으로 개별 문자를 분리하였으며, 문자의 높이를 48픽셀로 변환하여 정규화 하였다. 정규화 된 개별 문자에 노노그램 퍼즐 원리를 역으로 이용하여, 픽셀을 단위로 하는 작은 사각형들로 구성된 사각형으로 문자를 덮은 후 문자의 특성을 노노그램 퍼즐의 수치 정보로 나타내어 표준 패턴 정보와 비교하여 인식하게 하였다. 바탕체 2609개, 돋움체 1475개의 문자를 대상으로 실험하여 100% 인식률을 얻었다.

The purpose of this study is to find the character of Cleopatra (69 B.C-30 B.C) by analyzing materials about Cleopatra, and to figure out symbolism and costume presented in movie . Costume of the main character, Cleopatra, compound the type of Egyptian traditional clothes, the change of it, and the trend in the 1960's. And, the symbolic meaning of it is also reinforced by adding ancient Egyptian myth to it. This kind of symbol is usually represented in Cleopatra clothing, especially in weaving pattern, embroidery, and ornament. And color of the clothes not only have their on predominance, but also can have their meaning fade away by mixed with each other, and also the shape has relation with the meaning of color. To sum up, the color and pattern of ancint Egyptian Cleopatra as alive formalize the power that come from coherence with the sun god in the center, which a used to maintain the power of the king. Costume in movie also contained color and pattern as a symbol of religion to symbolize the absolute power of king. These kinds of symbols are reemerging through historical recurrences and exotic interests.

본 논문에서는 한글의 형태소 분석에 기초한 청각장애자용 수화영상 변환시스템을 제안하였다. 제안된 시스템은 입력 문자열에 대해 형태소 분석에 의한 음운성분과 접속정보를 추출한 다음, 이에 대응한 수화영상을 구축된 수화영상 데이터베이스를 통하여 정확히 출력한다. 효과적인 수화영상변환을 위해 입력문자열에 대한 형태소 분석부와 수화패턴 참조를 위한 수화언어기술부로 이루어진 언어정보기술사전을 구성하였다. 수화패턴은 중복을 피하기 위해 기본수화, 복합수화 그리고 유사수화단어로 분류하여 작성하였으며, 실험을 통해 제안된 시스템의 유용성을 확인하였다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the fashion style in the drama 'sex and the city's character. Frist of all, mixing and matching style is one of Carrie's signiture styles, namely her ability to combine haute couture fashion with high street bargains and vintage buys to make ingenious ensambles. There are two main ways to go with this seperates look, the equal look, when tops are put with equally fabulous bottoms, and the unequal look, when fabulous tops go with less fabulous bottoms. Second, nowadays vintage style is one of fashion trend. The 'Sex and the city' has define trends when it comes to jewellery, it is the 'Carrie' nameplate and the Hermes's horseshoe necklaces, especially pearls were a big hit for vintage style. Also it takes a floral pattern and various hat makes a vintage style. Third, Sexual style shows a halter and sleeveless dress with long earing and splendid necklaces. And it takes a leopard pattern. Fourth, romantic style, one of the 'Sex and the city"s character's favourite garments is the dress. Its makes romantic moods a delicate with handbags, Manolo Blahnik's and Jimmy Choo's high hill shoes and corsages. The romantic pattern is floral and material is chiffon.ffon.
