Color Change Redox Behavior of the 1,3-Squaraine Dyes

  • The 1,3-bis(4-aminoaryl)squaraines showed color, change behavior, they were found to undergo reduction with sodium borohydride in solution to give colorless leuco compounds, which oxidized readily in air back to the colored squaraine dye. We have shown that initial observations indicated that the derivatives synthesized gave new donor-acceptor chromophores. It is also interesting to note than the oxidation of the leuco squaraines did initially produce a species absorbing about 630-680 wavelengths. The 1,3-squaraines have found many uses as near-infrared absorbers, laser dyes and photoconductive materials. Furthermore their color-change redox behavior has potential in the area of peroxidase-based bioassaysas oxidation sensitive indicator systems were investigated.

Planfulness Ability as a Mediator of the Relationship between Learning from Supervisor and Readiness for Change: Empirical Evidence from India

  • The present research aims to examine whether learning from the supervisor influences readiness for change with the mediating impact of planfulness. Drawing upon the theory of planned behavior, it is hypothesized that learning from the supervisor positively impacts planfulness ability in individuals, which in turn enhances the readiness for change. Through using convenience sampling, the sample of 451 was collected from employees working full-time in the manufacturing and I.T. service organizations in India. Structural equation modeling and regression analysis indicate that learning from the supervisor is positively associated with readiness for change and planfulness. Additionally, planfulness fully mediated the relationship between learning from the supervisor and readiness to change. The findings of the present research highlight that continuous support and learning from the supervisor enhances the planfulness ability of the individual and consequently enhances individual readiness for change. The current research is pioneering in testing the hypothetical model associating learning from the supervisor, planfulness, and readiness for change.

대학생들의 모바일 앱을 이용한 금연정보탐색과 행위변화 (Information Seeking and Behavior Change for the Smoking Cessation of College Students Utilizing Mobile Applications)

  • 본 연구는 금연을 실천 및 유지하는 소비자들의 정보요구와 정보탐색행태를 조사하고, 다양한 단계에서 얻은 건강 정보가 건강 행동 변화에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 특히 이 연구에서는 소비자가 건강에 해로운 행동을 변경하는 데 도움이 되는 모바일 건강 애플리케이션(건강 앱)을 사용하는 방법과 금연 앱 사용이 건강 행위 변화에 미치는 영향을 조사했다. 이 연구는 금연 앱을 사용하는 대학생을 대상으로, 2017년 12월부터 2018년 7월까지 7개월 동안 참여자의 흡연 행동 변화를 관찰하고 대면 인터뷰를 실시했다. 실천단계의 참여자들에 따르면, 금연 기간, 건강 상태 변화, 금연으로 인한 비용 절감 등의 시각화된 정보가 금연을 독려했다. 유지 단계의 참여자들은 금연 앱이 제공하는 커뮤니티를 통해 다른 금연시도자들과 자신의 경험 및 사회적 지원을 공유함으로써 금연의 중요성과 성취를 인식하는 데 도움이 된다는 것을 강조했다. 이 연구는 행동 수정 과정에서 모바일 앱을 사용하는 건강 정보 소비자의 정보 요구 및 정보탐색행태의 유형을 식별했다는 점에서 정보 행위 분야에 이론적 함의를 제공한다. 연구 결과는 금연 시도자의 정보 요구를 반영한 금연 앱의 콘텐츠 설계에 기여할 수 있으며, 나아가 건강 행위 변화에 효과적인 정보 중재 전략을 촉진하는 건강 정보 서비스에 대한 실질적인 통찰을 제시할 수 있다.

  • 본 연구는 기업 구성원의 장기지향성이 변화 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향 및 감성활용의 매개효과를 살펴보았다. 홉스테드 연구에 의하면 동아시아국가 중 한국은 장기 지향성이 높은 국가로 나타났으며, 절약, 장기적 관계 및 소속된 집단의 화평을 중요하는 문화라고 볼 수 있다. 이와 관련 선행 연구들은 학교 및 국가별 차원에서 연구되었으며, 개인차원의 자발적 역량인 변화 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향을 검증한 연구는 많지 않다. 또한 글로벌 환경의 급격한 변화에 노출된 구성원들의 감성활용 능력은 조직의 구성원으론 매우 중요한 개인 역량으로 평가된다. 이런 현상을 바탕으로 본 연구는 대기업의 구성원들의 감성 활용 능력이 장기지향성과 변화 조직시민행동을 매개 할 것이라 예측했다. 본 연구는 홉스테드 문화차원을 개인적 차원으로 설문화한 Yoo's Cultural Value Scale (CVSCALE) 사용하여 통계프로그램인 SPSS 21.0을 통해 국내 S전자회사의 임직원 200명을 상대로 설문 및 분석했으며 결과는 다음과 같다. 장기지향성은 변화적 조직시민행동에 유의한 (+) 영향을 미친다고 나타났으며 개인의 감성활용이 장기지향성과 변화 조직시민행동을 완전 매개한다는 결과가 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 감성활용이 기업의 구성원의 변화 조직시민행동에 긍정적 영향을 준다는 점을 검증하였으며 구성원들의 감성 활용 훈련 및 교육을 통해 조직효율성을 높이고 자발적 행동역량인 변화적 조직시민행동도 높일 수 있다는 가능성을 제시한 점에 의미가 있다.

조직변화 수용성의 선행변인 및 결과변인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Antecedents and Consequences of Acceptance of Organizational Change)

  • 본 연구는 본 연구는 구성원의 조직변화 수용성의 영향요인과 결과 요인을 밝히는데 있다. 이를 위해 혁신지원적 조직문화, 분권화된 조직, 조직변화 수용성, 혁신행동, 정서적 변화몰입 간의 관계를 검토하고 그 관계에 있어서 조직변화 수용성의 매개효과를 검증하였다. H자동차 261명을 대상으로 실증분석을 위한 자료를 수집하였고, 가설검증을 위해 SPSS 20.0과 AMOS 20.0을 이용하여 분석하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫 번째, 혁신지원적 조직문화는 조직변화 수용성 및 정서적 변화몰입에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 두 번째, 분권화된 조직은 조직변화 수용성에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났지만, 분권화된 조직은 혁신행동에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 세 번째, 조직변화 수용성은 정서적 몰입 및 혁신행동에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 네 번째, 조직변화 수용성은 혁신지원적 조직문화와 정서적 변화몰입의 관계에서 부분매개를 수행하는 것으로 나타났고, 조직변화 수용성은 분권화된 조직과 혁신행동의 관계에서 완전매개를 수행하는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 혁신지원적 조직문화와 분권화된 조직은 조직변화 수용성을 통해 정서적 변화몰입과 혁신행동에 긍정적 영향을 준다는 것이 확인되었다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 한계점과 향후 방향이 제안되었다.

인슐린 의존성 당뇨병 학생을 대상으로 실시한 영양교육의 효과 (Evaluation of Nutrition Education for Insulin Dependent Diabetic Students)

  • This study was conducted to evaluate changes in nutritional knowledge, attitudes, behavior intention and behavior in a sample of 27 insulin dependent diabetic students participating in diabetics' camp. Nutritional knowledge related to diabetes, attitudes toward diabetes treatment and behavior intention about dietary changes were tested before and after nutrition education. Six months after nutrition education, an open ended questionnaire about their actual behavior changes was mailed to all participants and 17 of them responded. Pre-and post-testing showed that nutrition education was effective in significant changes in knowledge and in promoting positive attitudes and behavior intention. Increases of knowledge were consistently the same regardless of sex, level of education, regularity of diet, and duration of disease. Compared to male students, female students showed more positive change in knowledge, attitudes and behavior intention. It also appeared that middle school students showed more positive improvement in knowledge, attitudes and behavior than elementary and high school students. A follow-up test showed that their actual behavior changes were not squared with their behavior intention. They pointed out difficulties in having proper amount of meals and snack and the conflict with school time schedule as the major reason for discordance. These findings suggest that nutrition education for diabetics can be effective to improve their knowledge, attitudes and behavior intention and understanding about barriers to behavior change is important for better compliance to the disease.

  • This paper introduces an emotional behavior decision model based on linear system for intelligent service robots. An emotional model should make different behavior decisions according to the purpose of the robots. We propose an emotional behavior decision model which can change the character of intelligent service robots and make different behavior decisions although the situation and environment remain the same. We defined each emotional element such as reactive dynamics, internal dynamics, emotional dynamics, and behavior dynamics by state dynamic equations. The proposed system model is a linear dynamic system. If you want to add one external stimulus or behavior, you need to add just one dimensional vector to the matrix of external stimulus or behavior dynamics. The case of removing is same. The change of reactive dynamics, internal dynamics, emotional dynamics, and behavior dynamics also follows the same procedure. We implemented a cyber robot and an emotional head robot using 3D character for verifying the performance of the proposed emotional behavior decision model.

입원한 관상동맥질환자의 건강행위 영향 요인 (Health Behavior and Influencing Factors in Patients with Coronary Artery Disease Admitted to Hospital)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the impact that health motivation, stage of change and cardiac risk factors have on health behaviors in Korean patients with coronary artery disease(CAD) admitted to hospital. Method: The participants in this study were 127 patients with CAD hospitalized between May 2008 and July 2009. A structured questionnaire with personal interviews and chart reviews were used to collect data. Data were analyzed using the SPSS. Results: Of the relatively significant factors, including a stage of change, self efficacy, modifiable risk factor score, and perceived barriers, stage of change was found to be the most significant predictor of health behavior in patients with CAD. These variables accounted for 48.2% of the variance in health behavior. Conclusion: The results of the study indicate the necessity of developing a cardiac rehabilitation program for use in their daily lives after discharge from the hospital. Stage of change should be assessed for all patients with CAD being discharged from acute care hospitals.

  • The major purpose of this study is to find level of financial management behavior and relation factors. In addition, It is also to suggest how to overcome family financial problems on urban housewives' in the time of economic crisis and to provide the fundamental data to improve economic stability. Consequently, in the times of economic crisis, housewives' change-oriented family finance management behavior appeared to be more desirable. Through change-oriented family finance management behavior, housewives needs try to find reasonable solution to improve family cohesion and financial stability. Specially, housewives have to make use of financial information for effective financial management behavior and the financial stability of family members.

차이연령에 따른 감각추구 성향과 패션 탐색적 행동 (The Sensation Seeking Tendency and the Fashion Exploratory Behavior according to the Difference Age)

  • To pursue youth and agelessness can be regarded as a global trend today. The younger a woman recognizes herself to be, the more sensation seeking tendency and the more active fashion exploratory behavior of younger generation she would show. This study attempted to empirically examine the relationship between sensation seeking behavior and fashion exploratory behavior according to the difference age in women in their 30's to 50s'. After the survey, a total of 480 questionnaires was used for data analysis. The results of this study are as follows, 1. It was found that there was a very high correlation among cognitive ages, and the lower cognitive age a woman had, the higher difference age she showed. 2. Sensation seeking tendency of adult women was shown in two factors of change seeking and artistic sensation seeking, and these factors accounted for 73.99% of the total variances. Fashion exploratory behavior had 4 factors such as fashion leadership, behavior of hedonic shopping, behavior of clothing communication and behavior of clothing purchase with taking a risk, and these four factors accounted for 75.87% of the total variances. 3. The higher difference age and the higher tendency of sensation seeking an adult woman had, the higher fashion exploratory behavior was shown, and the higher the difference age, the higher tendency of change seeking and artistic sensation seeking.
