Minimizing the cylinder wear and the consumption rate of cylinder oil in a large two-stroke diesel engine is of great economic importance. A motor-driven cylinder lubricator for Sulzer RT-flex large two-stroke diesel engines developed by authors is in need of mounting a quill system to lubricate cylinder parts for a smooth operation. In order to apply the common-rail lubricating system to the developed cylinder lubricator as the second research stage, the mechanical quill system with a progressively quantitative distributor (M.D.S.) is improved in the electronically controlled quill system with an accumulating distributor (E.D.S.). In this study, the effects of lubricator motor speed, plunger stroke and cylinder back pressure on oil feed rate and inequality rate are experimentally investigated by applying E.D.S. to the developed cylinder lubricator. It is found that the oil feed rate of E.D.S. is higher than that of M.D.S. because of the increase of delivery speed and volume by changing the role of accumulator in the same experimental condition. It can be also shown that, in E.D.S., the inequality rate is decreased a little or hardly unchanged as the cylinder back pressure and plunger stroke is elevated, while the inequality rate increased in M.D.S.. The inequality rates of E.D.S. and M.D.S. are lowered as the lubricator motor speed is increased.

Purpose : This study was performed to identify longitudinal changes in the prevalence of organisms isolated from urinary tract infection(UTI) and in the pattern of Escherichia coli susceptibility to antibiotics during the past 10 years in children with UTI. Methods : We performed a retrospective study of a total of 192 urine cultures from children with UTI in the Department of Pediatrics, Seoul Adventist Hospital over two periods(1st: 1995-2000, 2nd:2001-2005). Antimicrobial susceptibility of the isolates was compared between the two groups. Results : The pathogens of UTI in the two groups were similar. In the first period, E. coli was the leading uropathogen(66.2%) followed by Klebsiella pneumoniae(7.8%), Enterobacter cloacae(6.5%), and others(19.5%). In the second period, E. coli was the leading uropathogen(67%) followed by K. pneumoniae(12.2%), E. cloacae(3.5%), Enterobacter aerogenes(3.5%), and others(13.8%). The susceptibility pattern of E. coli to amoxicillin/clavulanate(87.5%, 81.0%) did not present any statistically significant difference between the two periods(P>0.05). The susceptibility of E. coli to TMP/SMX(52.4%, 50.0%) was still low with no significant difference between the two periods(P>0.05). Conclusion : Our results suggest that the use of amoxicillin/clavulanate is still an excellent therapeutic option in children with UTI. The low rate of susceptibility to TMP/SMX against uropathogens suggest that TMP/SMX may be reevaluated as the first-line therapeutic drug for UTI.

본 논문은 이온 선택성 전극을 모듈화한 MACS를 사용하여 시스템의 크기를 축소할 수 있었고, PDA를 사용함으로써 측정된 데이터를 장소에 구애받지 않고 분석할 수 있는 휴대용 전자혀 시스템을 개발하였다. MACS는 ${NH_4}^+$, $Na^+$, $Cl^-$, ${NO_3}^-$, $K^+$, $Ca^{2+}$, $Na^+$, pH의 7종의 이온 선택성 전극을 이용하여 구성하였으며, 초기화 및 교정과정과 완충용액에 의한 안정화 과정을 거친 후 MACS로 시료에 대한 각각의 이온선택성 전극의 변화를 측정한다. 이렇게 각 전극으로부터 측정된 데이터를 이용하여 신경회로망 알고리즘으로 측정된 시료의 종류를 구분할 수 있다. 실험은 분류가 어렵다고 알려진 고급양주와 저급양주를 분류하는 것으로 진행되었으며, 성공적이며 우수한 실험 결과를 얻었다 이로부터 사용된 알고리즘이 휴대용 전자혀 시스템에 적절히 사용될 수 있음을 밝혔으며, 실제 휴대용 전자혀 시스템에 간단한 학습에 의해 적용될 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

가축분뇨 액비인 SCB 액비를 논토양 조건의 포트에 시용하였을 때 자외선에 의해 분변성 대장균의 사멸효과가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구결과로 볼 때 가축 분뇨의 퇴 액비화시 유해 미생물 제거에 광의 이용 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다. 그러나, 여러 종류의 가축분뇨 퇴 액비를 직접 농경지에 시용하였을 때 외부 환경의 건전성 유지와 환경 위해성을 관리하기 위해서는 향후 농경지 시용에 대한 현장 실험이 보완되어야 할 것이다.

In this paper we first evaluate the conditional Wiener integral of certain functionals using a Park and Skoug's formula. and we also evaluate the conditional wiener integral E(F│$X_\alpha$) of functional F on C[0, T] given by $F(x)=exp\{{\int_0}^T s^kx(s)ds\}$ for a general conditioning function $X_\alpha$ on C[0,T].

In this system we consider that respondents are generally reluctant to answer in a survey to get sensitive information targeting employees, customers, etc.

In this paper, a butterfly Log-MAP decoding algorithm for turbo code is proposed. Different from the conventional turbo decoder, we derived a generalized formula to calculate the log-likelihood ratio (LLR) and drew a modified butterfly states diagram in 8-states systematic turbo coded system. By comparing the complexity of conventional implementations, the proposed algorithm can efficiently reduce both the computations and work units without bit error ratio (BER) performance degradation.
