Distance learning for students with intellectual disabilities can prove beneficial, particularly if adjusted to their educational characteristics and needs. This study seeks to identify the views of parents living in Saudi Arabia, regarding the opportunities offered by distance learning for students with intellectual disabilities, alongside their challenges during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research employed qualitative methods using semi-structured interviews with six parents of students with intellectual disabilities. The results revealed a number of both opportunities and challenges, including issues related to the family, in addition, the data highlighted difficulties related to the educational process (i.e. a lack of variety of educational methods) and technical issues related to access to the Internet and the insufficient computer skills of both teachers and students. The findings have several important implications for future practice, including the need for training workshops for parents concerning the online platform, as well as further research to determine students' perspectives of their experiences with distance learning.

RFID has fundamental influences on today's business management. This research seeks to formulate the opportunities and challenges, the strengths and weaknesses and the perceived benefits of RFID implementation in three industries: manufacturing, medical-service, and distribution. Ten companies of successful RFID deployment in Korea are presented. Field interview and panel discussion were used to explore the research purpose. The core challenges include RFID readability issues, lack of best practices, increasing prime cost, visible ROI, implementation cost, and employee's resistance. The strengths include IT infrastructure, system integration competency, RFID business model creation ability, executive's support. There is little weakness in Korea companies, there are many perceived benefits in three industries. The most distinctive finding is that the visible ROI was found out in the manufacturing industry, not in the distribution industry. The opportunities and challenges, the strengths and weaknesses and the perceived benefits are some different in three industries, which provide valuable guidance for Korean companies in seeking the RFID opportunities. This case study represents a pioneer research of RFID adoption in Korea.

When it comes to construction, the UAE leads the way. The UAE's construction industry is valued at US$ 221 billion (about AED 811.73 billion) - the highest in the region. The construction boom has caused a shortage of both manpower and materials, leading to rise in input prices not only in UAE but in the entire region. The prices of materials have reportedly increased more than manpower. Consequently, there has been an escalation in project costs, which have increased by 10-20 per cent since last three years. This paper examines the opportunities and challenges faced by the developers, consultants, contractors and suppliers due to the construction boom at UAE for the last five years. The paper summarizes that inspite of challenges faced, UAE expects the construction and real estate sectors to remain upbeat for the next ten years.

Objectives: The coronavirus disease pandemic affected people's lives in different ways, including child education and parent-child interactions. The present study aimed to identify the educational opportunities of children and challenges of parents during this pandemic. Methods: This study was conducted using a qualitative and phenomenological method. The participants were 23 parents of children aged 7-12 years, selected by purposive sampling method. Data were collected by semi-structured interviews, which continued until data saturation was reached, and then classified and processed following Strauss and Glasser's approach. Results: The findings were classified as parenting transformation, attachment challenges, and parenting challenges due to macro-systemic changes. Online education and changes caused by social distancing were the most significant parenting challenges. Moreover, children did not have the necessary space to be independent and self-sufficient. Conclusion: For many children, adapting to virtual education has been challenging; therefore, parents should change their parenting control and support. The emergence of such challenges has led to the creation of more opportunities in the field of child education.

In this paper we will outline the opportunities for flexible OLED devices, both for display and solid-state lighting applications. We will present our recent data, and discuss future challenges, for low power consumption phosphorescent OLED technology fabricated on flexible substrates to enable a new generation of energy efficient electronic devices.

The unique features of HTS offer opportunities and challenges to a number of applications. In this paper we focus on NMR and MRI magnets, illustrating them with the NMR/MRI magnets that we are currently and will shortly be engaged: a 1.3 GHz NMR magnet, an "annulus" magnet, and an $MgB_2$whole-body MRI magnet. The opportunities with HTS include: 1) high fields (e.g., 1.3 GHz magnet); 2) compactness (annulus magnet); and 3) enhanced stability despite liquid-helium-free operation ($MgB_2$whole-body MRI magnet). The challenges include: 1) a large screening current field detrimental to spatial field homogeneity (e.g., 1.3 GHz magnet); 2) uniformity of critical current density (annulus magnet); and 3) superconducting joints ($MgB_2$magnet).

Technology and tourism have become inseparable, and technological innovations propose new services to the tourism industry. During the current pandemic, service robot usage has increased more than at any other time which comes with advantages and disadvantages. This paper discusses the opportunities and challenges of utilizing service robots in the service industry during and after the pandemic crisis. The study follows a content analysis methodology. Findings indicate that service robots are easy to access, offer an alternative form of communication, reduce costs and boost operational safety; in contrast, robotics increase unemployment and cause anxiety and depression among the demoralized employees.

The purpose of this paper is to explore how the Confucius Institute Chinese international promotion could better promote the development of China's foreign trade, by analyzing the distribution of the Confucius Institute worldwide, based on the theory of language economics, using SWOT analysis to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the internal environment, opportunities and challenges of the external environment of Chinese international promotion of Confucius Institute. The following findings were gathered: as a language teaching institution and information exchange platform, Confucius Institute has the ability to share trade information and increase trade opportunities; to improve cultural identity and reduce transaction costs; to promote cultural communication and integration, and drive the development of related industries. The internal disadvantages were mainly reflected in the mismatch between the global regional distribution structure of Confucius Institutes, and the economic and trade structure, such as, the asymmetry between language, culture output, and demand. In addition, the management mechanism was not perfect. External opportunities were mainly new opportunities brought by economic globalization, cultural diversity, and the development of the Belt and Road initiative. External challenges were mainly influenced by the China threat theory and the fierce cultural competition among countries. The corresponding countermeasures were put forward based on the advantages of the platform and grasping the external opportunities: improving the quality of operation and speeding up the localization process; respecting cultural differences and realizing cultural common learning; seeking multilateral cooperation and enhancing the capacity for independent development.

In this knowledge based society, the debate on ICT has permanently shifted from 'why' ICT for development, to 'how' comprehensive and holistic ICT policies can unleash human potential and enhance people's capabilities to improve their lives. Recognizing this untapped potential and development strategies incorporating ICT are being increasingly promoted and launched across the developing countries. While the potential advantages of ICT for development are enormous in developed countries, national policies of developing countries are yet to adequately reflect truly comprehensive and integrated strategies for harnessing and exploiting this potential. This paper presents an analysis of National ICT policy of Bangladesh. Through the examination of ICT policy, in particular in the field of agriculture and rural development and analysis of applied policies and strategies implemented in these area, this paper identifies challenges and opportunities which provides lessons for policy-makers and practitioners involved in the field. This analysis reveals that the policy is inadequate to impact positively on the agriculture and rural development of Bangladesh. The policy places little emphasis on the integration and infusion of ICT in the country's agriculture and rural development. Policy implications and suggestions are offered to ensure maximum use of ICT potentials in the country's agriculture and rural development.
