쿠멘 생산 공정의 경제성 최적화를 위한 샘플링 및 추정법의 비교 (Comparison of Sampling and Estimation Methods for Economic Optimization of Cumene Production Process)

  • 이 연구는 벤젠과 프로필렌의 기상반응을 통해 쿠멘을 생산하는 쿠멘 생산 공정의 경제성 최적화에 대한 것이다. 최적화의 목적함수는 제품 판매 이득에서 자본비용, 유틸리티 비용, 원료 비용을 뺀 연간 조업이득이고, 설계변수는 6개이다. 설계변수의 변화에 따른 조업이득의 계산을 위해 Unisim Design과 Matlab을 연동하였다. 최적화는 3단계로 수행되었다. 설계변수를 샘플링한 후 조업이득 데이터를 얻고, 이 데이터로부터 설계변수와 조업이득의 관계를 추정 모델로 표현하고, 이 모델을 이용하여 최적화하였다. 추정모델로는 반응표면법에서 사용되는 2차 회귀 다항식과 비선형 모델인 support vector regression을 비교하였다. 설계변수의 샘플링 방법으로는 중심합성계획과 Hammersley 순차 추출법을 비교하였다. 각각 얻어진 모델을 이용한 최적화 결과, 추정방법으로는 SVR이, 샘플링 방법은 Hammersley 순차추출법이 더 정확하였다. 최적화된 조업이득은 연간 17.96 MM$로, 기준 조건에서의 연간 16.04 MM$에 비해 12% 증가하였다.

Nonlinear bending analysis of functionally graded CNT-reinforced composite plates

  • In this paper, a nonlinear numerical method to solve the large deflection problem is introduced. And the non-dimensional load-deflection behavior of functionally graded carbon nanotube-reinforced composite (FG-CNTRC) plates is parametrically investigated. The large deflection problem is formulated according to the von Kármán nonlinear theory and the (1,1,0)* hierarchical model, and it is approximated by 2-D natural element method (NEM). The shear locking phenomenon is suppressed by the selectively reduced integration method. The nonlinear matrix equations are solved by combining the incremental loading scheme and the Newton-Raphson iteration method. The proposed method is validated from the benchmark experiments, where the propose method shows an excellent agreement with the reference methods. The nonlinear behavior of FG-CNTRC plates is evaluated in terms of the non-dimensional load-deflection curve, and it is parametrically investigated with respect to the existence/non-existence and gradient pattern of CNTs, the width-to-thickness and aspect ratios of plates and the type of boundary conditions. The non-dimensional central deflection is significantly reduced when CNTs and added, and it decreases with the volume fraction of CNTs. But, it shows a uniform increase in proportion to the width-to-thickness and aspect ratios. Both the gradient pattern of CNTs and the type of boundary conditions do also show the remarkable effects.

Electrochemical Investigation of Acetaminophen with a Carbon Nano-tube Composite Film Electrode

  • Electrochemical behaviors of acetaminophen at a muti-wall carbon nano-tube composite film modified glassy carbon electrode were investigated by cyclic voltammetry, linear sweep voltammetry and chronocoulometry. Compared with that obtained at the unmodified electrode, the peak currents were enhanced significantly, and the oxidation peak shifted towards more negative potential with the reduction peak shifted positively. The peak-to-peak separation turned narrow, and suggested that the reversibility was improved greatly. Experimental parameters, such as scan rate, pH and accumulation conditions were optimized. It was found that a maximum current response can be obtained at pH = 5.0 after accumulation at -0.50 V for 80 s. The oxidation peak current was found to be linearly related to acetaminophen concentration over the range of $5.0{\times}10^{-7}\;\sim\;1.0{\times}10^{-4}$ mol $L^{-1}$ with a detection limit of $5.0{\times}10^{-8} $mol $L^{-1}$. A convenient and sensitive electrochemical method was developed for the determination of acetaminophen in a commercial paracetamol oral solution. Its practical application demonstrated that it has good selectivity and high sensitivity.

실험계획법을 이용한 전자부품 위치정렬장치 최적 운영조건 사례연구 (A Study on Optimal Operation Conditions for an Electronic Device Alignment System by Using Design of Experiments)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to design a systematic method to estimate optimal operation conditions of design variables for an electronic device alignment system. Method: The 2-level factorial design and the central composite design are used in order to plan experiments. Based on the experiment results, a regression model is established to find optimal conditions for the design variables. Results: 3 of 5 design variables are selected as major factors that affect the alignment system significantly. The optimized condition for each variable is estimated by using a sequential experiment plan and a quadratic regression model. Conclusion: The method designed in this study provides an efficient and systematic plan to select the optimized operation condition for the design variables. The method is expected to improve inspection accuracy of the system and reduce the development cost and period.

타원 섬유가 포함된 복합재료에서의 탄성 해석 (Elastic Analysis in Composite Including Multiple Elliptical Fibers)

  • 체적 적분방정식법(Volume Integral Equation Method)이라는 새로운 수치해석 방법을 이용하여, 서로 상호작용을 하는 등방성 또는 이방성 타원 함유체를 포함하는 등방성 무한고체가 정적 인장하중을 받을 때 무한고체 내부에 발생하는 응력분포 해석을 매우 효과적으로 수행하였다. 즉, 등방성 기지에 다수의 등방성 또는 이방성 타원 함유체의 중심이 1) 정사각형 배열 형태 또는 2) 정육각형 배열 형태로 포함되어 있는 경우에, 다양한 타원을 포함하는 원형 실린더 함유체의 체적비에 대하여, 중앙에 위치한 타원 함유체와 등방성 기지의 경계면에서의 인장응력 분포의 변화를 구체적으로 조사하였다. 또한, 체적 적분방정식법을 이용한 해를 유한요소법을 이용한 해 및 해석해와 비교해 봄으로서, 체적 적분방정식법을 이용하여 구한 해의 정확도를 검증하였다.

곡선섬유를 이용한 복합재료 평판의 구조적 성능 향상 (Structural Performance Improvement of Composite Plates By Using Curvilinear Fiber Format)

  • 항공우주산업에서 무게를 증가시키지 않고 비행구조물의 구조적 성능을 증가시키는 것은 굉장한 잇점을 갖는다. 본 연구에서는 복합재료 평판의 무게를 증가시키지 않고 좌굴하중과 인장 파단하중을 동시에 증가시키는 혁신적인 설계 방법에 대해서 연구하였다. 원공이 있는 복합재료 적층판에서 곡선 섬유층과 직선 섬유층을 조합하여 적층판을 구성할 때 좌굴하중과 인장파단 하중이 동시에 증가되는 현상에 대하여 유한요소 해석을 사용하여 알아보았다. 원공의 크기와 적층 순서를 달리하면서 곡선섬유를 이용한 효과가 얼마나 되는지 알아보았다. 또한, 각각의 경우에 대해서 파단이 어떻게 일어나는가도 관찰하였다. 곡선섬유 평판을 제작하기 위해서는 연속적이고 부드럽게 변하는 fiber path가 필요하다. 여기서는 유한요소로 구한 섬유 방향을 사용하여 제작이 가능한 부드럽게 이어지는 fiber path를 구하는 간단한 방안을 제시하였다.

  • This study proposes the generation mechanism of various design matrix using generalized linear model for design of experiment. Design generation method of GLM analysis, factorial design(FD) with center points, ANOVA design with lack-of-fit test, and response surface design are introduced. In central composite(CC) design, orthogonal blocking and fractional factorial design(FFD) are presented. We compare the design of Box-Benhken(BB) and face-centred central compsite design.

  • The dynamic behavior of graphite/epoxy laminated composite shell structure due to low-velocity impact is investigated using the finite element method. In this analysis, the Newmark's constant-acceleration time integration algorithm is used. The impact response such as contact force, central deflection and dynamic strain history form shell structure analysis are compared with those form the plate non-linear analysis. The effects of curvature, impact velocity and mass of impactor on the composite shell are discussed.

수직하중을 고려한 자전거 프레임의 다중목적 최적설계 (Approximate Multi-Objective Optimization of Bike Frame Considering Normal Load)

  • Recently, because of the growth in the leisure industry and interest in health, the demand for bicycles has increased. In this research, considering the vertical load on a bike frame under static state conditions, the deflection and mass of the bike frame were minimized by satisfying the service condition and performing optimization. The thickness of the bicycle-frame tube was set to a design variable, and its sensitivity was confirmed by an analysis of means (ANOM). To optimize the solution, a response-surface-method (RSM) model was constructed using D-Optimal and central composite design(CCD). The optimization was performed using a non-dominant sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA-II), and the optimal solution was verified by finite-element analysis.
