The Comparison of X-ray Response Characteristics of Vacuum Evaporated (진공증착된 CdTe와 $Cd_{0.85}Zn_{0.15}Te$ 필름의 X선 반응특성 비교)

  • The study of photoconductor materials is demanded for development for flat-panel digital x-ray Imager. In this paper, We investigated the feasibility of application as x-ray image sensor using Cd(Zn)Te compound with high stopping power on high radiation. These Cd(Zn)Te samples were fabricated by vacuum thermal evaporation method to large area deposition and investigated I-V measurement as applied voltage. The experimental results show that the additional injection Zn in CdTe film reduced the leakage current, for the $Cd_{0.85}Zn_{0.15}Te$ detector, the net charge had the highest value as $144.58pC/cm^2$ at 30 V.

Study on Growth and Opto-Electrical Characterization of $CdS_{1-x}Se_{x}$ Thin Film using Chemical Bath Deposition Method (CBD 방법에 의한 $CdS_{1-x}Se_{x}$ 박막의 열처리에 따른 광전기적 특성)

  • Polycrystalline $CdS_{1-x}Se_{x}$ thin films were grown on ceramic substrate using a chemical bath deposition method. They were annealed at various temperature and X-ray diffraction patterns were measured by X-ray diffractometer in order to study $CdS_{1-x}Se_{x}$ polycrystal structure using extrapolation method of X-ray diffraction patterns for the CdS, CdSe samples annealed in $N_{2}$ gas at $550^{\circ}C$ it was found hexagonal structure which had the lattice constant $a_{0}=4.1364{\AA}$, $c_{0}=6.7129{\AA}$ in CdS and $a_{0}=4.3021{\AA}$, $c_{0}=7.0142{\AA}$ in CdSe, respectively. Hall effect on these samples was measured by Van der Pauw method and then studied on carrier density and mobility depending on temperature. We measured also spectral response, sensitivity(${\gamma}$), maximum allowable power dissipation and response time on these samples.

Neuronal Phenotypes and Gene Expression Profiles of the Human Adipose Tissue-Derived Stromal Cells in the Neuronal Induction (신경 분화 유도한 인체 지방조직 유래 간질세포의 신경 표현형과 유전자 발현)

  • Purpose: Human adipose tissue-derived stromal cells(hADSCs) can be expanded in vitro and induced to differentiate into multiple mesenchymal cell types. In this study we have examined various neuronal phenotypes and gene expression profiles of the hADSCs in the neuronal induction. Methods: The hADSCs were isolated from human adipose tissue and they were characterized by the flow cytometry analysis using CD13, CD29, CD34, CD45, CD49d, CD90, CD105 and HLA-DR cell surface markers. We differentiated the hADSCs into the neuronal lineage by using chemical induction medium and observed the cells with contrast microscopy. The immunocytochemistry and western blotting were performed using the NSE, NeuN, Trk-A, Vimentin, N-CAM, S-100 and ${\beta}$-Tubulin III antibodies. Results: The hADSCs were positive for CD13($90.3{\pm}4%$), CD29($98.9{\pm}0.7%$), CD49d($13.6{\pm}6%$), CD90 ($99.4{\pm}0.1%$), CD105($96%{\pm}2.8%$) but negative for CD34, CD45 and HLA-DR. The untreated cultures of hADSCs predominately consisted of spindle shaped cells and a few large, flat cells. Three hours after the addition of induction medium, the hADSCs had changed morphology and adopted neuronal-like phenotypes. The result of immunocytochemistry and western blotting showed that NSE, NeuN, Trk-A, Vimentin, N-CAM, S-100 and ${\beta}$-Tubulin III were expressed. However, NSE, NeuN, Vimentin were weakly expressed in the control. Conclusion: Theses results indicate that hADSCs have the capabillity of differentiating into neuronal lineage in a specialized culture medium. hADSCs may be useful in the treatment of a wide variety of neurological disorders.

Dynamics and Bleaching of Ground State in CdSe/ZnS Quantum Dots

  • For resonant excitation of the ground state $1s^e-1S^h_{3/2}$, dynamics of 'the electron-hole pair in a CdSe quantum dot was investigated by degenerate pump-probe measurement. At low e-h pair densities, the decay of $1s^e-1S^h_{3/2}$ state is dominated by radiative recombination. As the number of the electron-hole pairs increases, new decay features become significant. Theoretical comparison suggests this is attributed to the bi-molecular and Auger-type scattering.

Growth and Properties of $Cd_{1-x}$$Zn_x$/S Films Prepared by Chemical Bath Deposition for Photovoltaic Devices (Chemical Bath Depsoition법에 의한 $Cd_{1-x}$$Zn_x$/S 박막의 제조 및 특성에 관한 연구)

  • Structural, optical and electrical properties of Cd$_{1-x}$ Zn$_{x}$S films deposited by chemical bath deposition(CBD), which is a very attractive method for low-cost and large-area solar cells, are presented. Especially, in order to control more effectively the zinc component of the films, zinc acetate, which was used as the zinc source, was added in the reaction solution after preheating the reaction solution and the pH of the reaction solution decreased with increasing the concentration of zinc acetate. The films prepared after preheating and pH control had larger zinc component and higher optical band gap. The crystal structures of Cd$_{1-x}$ Zn$_{x}$S films was a wurtzite type with a preferential orientation of the (002) plane and the lattice constants of the films changed from the value for CdS to those for ZnS with increasing the mole ratio of the zinc acetate. The minimum lattice mismatch between Cd$_{1-x}$ Zn$_{x}$S and CdTe were 2.7% at the mole ratio of (ZnAc$_2$)/(CdAc$_2$+ZnAc$_2$)=0.4. As the more zinc substituted for Cd in the films, the optical transmittance improved, while the absorption edge shifted toward a shorterwavelength. the photoconductivity of the films was higher than the dark conductivity, while the ratio of those increased with increasing the mole ratio of zinc acetate. acetate.

Estimation of Pollution Degree of Surface Sediment from Incheon H Wharf (인천 H항 표층 퇴적물의 오염도 평가)

  • In this study, physico-chemical properties and pollution degree of surface sediments collected at 5 stations(S1~S5) of Incheon H wharf in March 2014 were investigated. From particle size, surface area, XRD and XRF analyses, the sediment samples consisted of similar oxides and minerals. Considering total score of COD, AVS and IL, pollution level ranged between 2 and 3 based on domestic standards. In case of heavy metal contamination, Cd, Ni and Pb were classified as moderately polluted by USEPA standards. However, Cu, Zn and Cr were classified as heavily polluted. With geoaccumulation index value($I_{geo}$), Cd contamination was estimated as class 3. In addition, the calculated enrichment factors of Cd, Pb and Zn were exceeded a value of 1. Site S4 was high as 3.1 in total enrichment factor.

  • 반도체 나노결정은 양자구속효과(quantum confinement effect)에 의한 광학적인 특성을 갖기 때문에 광전자공학(optoelectronic), 광전지(photovoltaic)분야에 응용하려는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 고순도의 CdTe 나노결정을 1-thioglycerol 표면 완화제(surface stabilizer)로 사용하여 수용액 상태로 합성하였다. 모든 실험은 $N_2$ 분위기의 삼각플라스크에서 실험하였다. Cadmium 소오스로는 Cd(CIO$_4$)$_2$.6$H_2O$(Cadmium perchlorate hydrate-Aldrich)를 사용하였고 Tellurium 소오스로는 A1$_2$Te$_3$(Aluminum telluride-CERAC)와 H$_2$SO$_4$가 반응하여 H$_2$Te gas가 주입되도록 하였다. 합성된 CdTe 나노결정은 core-shell 형태로 존재하며 결정크기에 따른 특성분석을 위해서 High Resolution Transmission Electron Microscope (HRTEM), Photoluminescence spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction(XRD), UV-vis absorption spectra 분석을 하였다 또한 CdTe 나노결정을 나노와이어로 제작하여 CdTe 나노결정을 이용한 태양전지 제작에 응용하고자 한다.

CIGS 박막 태양전지용 CdS버퍼층의 제조 조건에 따른 특성 변화

  • CdS는 2.42 eV의 밴드 갭을 가지는 직접 천이형 반도체로서 CdTe계와 CGIS계 태양전지의 접합 partner로 많이 이용되어 왔다. 태양전지의 광투과층으로 사용되는 CdS 박막의 필요한 물성으로는 높은 광투과도와 얇은 두께이다. 광투과층으로 사용되는 CdS 막의 광투과도가 높아야 많은 양의 빛이 손실 없이 투과하여 광흡수층인 CIGS에 도달할 수 있다. 특히, CdS막의 두께가 얇으면 밴드 갭 이상의 에너지를 가지는 파장의 빛도 투과시킬 수 있어 태양전지의 효율의 증가을 얻을 수가 있다. 그러나 CdS 막의 두께가 얇을 경우, pinhole이 생성되는 등 막의 균질성이 문제가 되기 때문에 얇으면서도 pinhole이 없는 CdS 박막을 만들기 위한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 높은 변환 효율을 갖는 CIGS 박막 태양전지 제작에 적합한 chemical bath depostion(츙)법을 이용하여 CdS 박막을 제조하였다. 또한 반응온도, Cd 및 S source 비, 반응용액의 pH와 같은 증착 조건에 따른 박막의 구조적, 광학적 특성을 조사하였다.

  • CdS는 $CuInSe_2$계, CdTe계 이종접합 태양전지의 junction partner로 많이 이용되어 왔다. CdS는 전극으로 쓰일 뿐만 아니라 빛을 투과시키는 창문층으로 사용되어 높은 변환 효율을 나타낸다. 이종접합 태양전지에서 창문층은 가시광 영역에서 광투과율이 높고, 전기적으로 비저항이 낮아야 에너지 손실 없이 태양광을 광흡수층까지 투과시킬 수 있다. CdS 박막은 CBD법(solution growth technique), 진공증착법(vacuum evaporation), 스퍼터법(sputtering), 스프레이 열분해법(spray pyrolysis), 전착법(electrodeposition)에 의해 제조되고, 그 중 용액성장법(solution growth technique)이라고도 불리는 CBD법(chemical bath deposition)을 이용하여 CdS 박막을 제조하였다. CBD법은 다른 방법에 비해 제조 과정이 비교적 간단할 뿐만 아니라 제조 단가가 저렴하고, 넓은 면적의 박막 제조가 가능하며 재현성도 우수하다는 장점이 있다. CdS 박막을 제조하기 위한 cadmuim 이온공급원으로는 $CdSO_4$를 사용하였고 sulfur 이온공급원으로는 $SC(NH_2)_2$를 사용하였다. CBD법에서 박막의 물성에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 요인인 sulfur 이온공급원과 cadmium 이온공급원의 비, 용액의 온도, pH를 변화시켜 CdS 박막을 제조하였다. 각각의 조건에 의해 제조된 CdS의 박막의 두께는 Tencor P-1을 이용하여 측정되었고, UV-Visible spectrometer를 이용하여 파장에 따른 광투과율을 측정하였다. CdS 박막의 결정 구조를 조사하기 위해 X선 회절분석(XRD ; X-ray diffraction)을 하였고, AFM(Atomic Force Microscope)으로 표면 특성을 관찰하였다.
