인터넷과 정보통신 기술이 빠른 속도로 발전함에 따라 B2B 또는 B2C 전자 상거래에 이용되는 전자 카탈로그는 인터넷 공간에서 가장 효과적으로 기업의 상품 및 제품의 특성을 잘 표현할 수 있는 중요한 요소 중 하나이다. 그러나 전자 상거래에 중요 기술기반이라 할 수 있는 전자 카탈로그의 작성과 적용에 관한 표준 부재와 서로 상이한 시스템을 구축하고 있어 전자상거래에 참여하는 시장 참여자는 전자 카탈로그 정보를 교환 및 거래에 사용할 수 없는 여러 문제점이 발생하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 통합적으로 상품의 정보를 처리할 수 있는 전자 카탈로그 문서 구조를 정의하고 거래에 참여하는 사용자가 정의된 전자 카탈로그 문서를 전자 상거래에 이용할 수 있도록 통합형 전자 카탈로그 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 본 시스템은 Web Services와의 연동을 통하여 Web Services가 갖고 있는 서로 다른 환경 내에서의 비즈니스 통합 및 상호 운용성 등 다양한 장점과 카탈로그 문서로부터 얻을 수 없는 유용한 정보를 Web Services를 얻을 수 있도록 하였다.

Electronic catalog is a kind of electronic document to exchange product and service data for B2B or B2C EC(electronic commerce). Up to date a lot of selution/service providers which develop EC systems such as shopping malls, have constructed electronic catalogs. However, they use different contents, formats, and exchange methods without a standardized concept and consistent definition of components. This causes problems that time and cost to develop catalogs are duplicated and data exchange across e-marketplaces is difficult. In order to resolve these problems, standardization works for electronic catalog are carried out inside and outside the country. In this paper, we introduce types of standards concerned with electronic catalog, trends of standardization activities, and domestic standardization activities by industry such as electronics, automobile, shipbuilding, heavy industry, steel, electricity, construction, distribution, biomedical, and textile.

The questionnaire survey was carried out to analyze the difference of consumers perception on apparel products presented in catalog, cable TV home shopping program, and internet shopping site. 676 men and 728 women participated in this survey and they were members of catalog shopping or cable TV home shopping companies or netizen. The results of this study show that the shoppers perception on apparel home shopping differed by the direct shopping media that they frequently utilize and by their demographic characteristics. The cable TV home shoppers had higher reliability on product quality than the shoppers using paper catalog or the internet shoppers. The cable TV home shopping members perceived that the apparel products available in cable TV home shopping were diverse and the information about the products was sufficient to decide purchase. The married women tend to think that the TV home shopping program provides diverse apparel products in the aspects of color, design, size and the information about the materials including fabric.

이 연구는 부산 울산, 경남 지역 23개 대학도서관의 온라인목록 검색시스템을 분석하였다. 이 도서관 목록들의 검색을 위한 자료 유형 구분, 검색을 위한 접근점, 자료검색의 조건들(검색어 조합방식, 검색어 일치방식, 검색의 상세 수준)은 다양하고 서로 달랐다. 이러한 결과와 그 평가를 토대로 온라인목록 검색시스템의 자료 유형 구분, 접근점 종류, 검색조건 표준화를 위한 방안을 제시하였다.

XML(eXtensible Markup Language) based electronic catalog is very useful for searching target information because of its structural and contents based searching support capability. And XML document editing is easier than HTML because of XML document is divided by structure, contents and presentation. This paper is to present a prototype of XML based Electronic Catalog Management System(ECMS) whose system consists of data input, output and manipulation system for inserting, updating, editing and deletion. A proposed system could resolved the problems at virtual intermediary shopping mall invloved in the difficulty of interoperability when customer try to compare similar products at mixed shopping mall and reduced web service costs at independent shopping mall by using XML format. The proposed ECMS offers rapid response capability for product data change of electronic catalog and easy and friendly interoperability among similar products.

The population of consumers who purchase goods through electronic commerce(EC) is increasing due In the advance of Internet. They can purchase goods freely without time and space restriction and can have variety of choices of goods. Now most of e-Catalogs rely on the simple texts or images to present information on goods. As such, there is limitation in describing goods in detail, which might not make consumers interested in those goods. To solve the problem, more advanced e-Catalogs are demanded compared with the existing ones, requiring research on the e-Catalog authoring techniques that utilize dynamic multimedia data such as audios or videos in addition to the conventional texts and images. In this paper, we describe development of an e-Catalog authoring tnol that is based on SMIL(Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language) which is one of XML applications.

In this study, statistical analyses implemented in the EPRI EQHAZARD programs were employed to estimate the sismicity parameters in the Korean peninsula based upon an combined Korean earthquake catalog. The combined earthquake catalog was prepared by performing earthquake clustering analysis on the collected earthquake catalogs provided by experts of the seismic panel during the PSA for Yonggwang Units 1 & 2. The duplicate earthquake events and secondary events in earthquake clusters have been successfully screened. The resultant earthquake catalog was analyzed to quantitatively assess the incompleteness of the earthquake catalog for specified earthquake magnitudes and time periods. The result shows that the earthquake catalog of the Korean peninsula is complete for the times periods of 1392 ~ 1750 and 1905 ~ 1989 (AD) and earthquake magnitude above 4.5. The PSHA methodology of EQHAZARD features the estimation of inhomogeneous a-and b-values within a seismic source. This study shows various results of a-and b-value is well constrained lying between o.6 and 1.0. Also the confidence of estimated a-and b-value for a specifed location was assessed by quantifing the uncertainty of these parameters using bootstrap simulation.

The computer related techniques have been developed rapidly in the field of metal removal industry. The electronic catalog for mechanical elements is one of such developments realized in recent years. As the emergence of the electronic catalogs in the 90s, it breaks the restriction of the traditional catalog and becomes a helpful and efficient tool in the field. In this paper, we develop an electronic catalog for the cutting tools of the Korea Tungsten Co. Ltd. The catalog consists of three parts: a preprocessor for tool selection, a database for tool, and a postprocessor for search result. A preprocessor for tool selection is developed under a user-friendly consideration. A database for tool consists of milling, drilling, and reaming tools with a list of cutters, inserts, and components. A postprocessor for search result consists of weight, dimension. drawing, product order number etc. of the tools. It also suggests the optimized cutting condition of the selected tool using a neural network technique which is done by an independent research group.

We compile a near-infrared photometric and polarimetric catalog for the $5{\times}9$ fields (${\sim}39^{\prime}{\times}69^{\prime}$) in the eastern side of the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC). The photometric and the polarimetric data were obtained in J, H, and Ks bands using JHKs-simultaneous imaging polarimeter SIRPOL of the InfraRed Survey Facility (IRSF) in 2008 December and 2011 December. We estimate quality of the data using the method and the result from the IRSF Magellanic Clouds point source catalog which was published on 2007 June. In this poster, we present configuration of the catalog and the results of the verification.

In this study, the Chaeg-mog-nog was analysed and studied. Chaeg-mog-nog is one of the rare book catalog which written purely by Hangul character. In this catalog, 89 kinds (over 500 books) were recarded, included 21 kinds of Korean Hangul novels. Except the 30 kinds of boohs, many similar and same titles and contents of works are remained. The compiler of this book catalog was unknown. But, according to the characteristic of the collection and the calligraphic style of this catalog, the compiler shall be woman who may have some connection between the royal palace.
