This review aimed to evaluate the quality of case reports where acupotomy was performed according to the CAse REport (CARE) guidelines and the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) critical appraisal checklist. Case reports on acupotomy published in Korea from 2013 to October 2020 were included in this review. A total of 28 acupotomy related case reports were selected, and a quality evaluation was verified using the CARE guidelines and JBI critical appraisal checklist. Among the case reports, spinal conditions/diseases were most commonly reported. The overall complete reporting rate for each study was relatively high (median of 63.4% according to the CARE guidelines and 73.4% according to JBI critical appraisal checklist for case reports and 62% for case series). However, low reporting rates were determined in several subcategories namely, "Intervention adherence and tolerability," "Timeline," "Diagnostic challenges," "Patient perspective," and "Adverse or unanticipated events" for case reports, and "Reporting of the presenting site/clinic," "Demographic information," "Statistical analysis," and "Clear criteria for inclusion" for case series. When reporting cases where acupotomy was performed, it is recommended that the CARE guidelines are followed to improve the quality of research. In addition, new guidelines and tools for the clinical situation of Korean medicine should be developed.

This is a case report of hemangiopericytoma on lower lip. Hemangiopericytomas are very rare tumors of vascular origin featuring pericytes distributed about vascular spaces. Approximately one third occur in the head and neck, but the oral hemangiopericytomas are very rare and occur on tongue, mandible, maxilla and lip etc. The histogenesis is uncertain and there is no feature to distinguish the benign from the malignant variants. Complete excision is mandatory to avoid recurrence. A review of the literature and a report of a case of the oral hemangiopericytoma is presented.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report a case of traditional Korean Medicine effect on a patient with rhabdomyolysis who appealed leg pain, numbness and weakness. Methods : A patient received traditional Korean Medicine including acupuncture, herbal medicine, moxibustion, and cupping therapy daily. We evaluated the clinical results by observing the patient's symptoms, NRS(Numerical Rating Scale), MMT(Manual Muscle Test) grade and DITI(Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging). Results : After traditional Korean Medicine, the patient's pain and numbness decreased from NRS 10 to 1~2 and weakness improved from Gr3- to Gr4. And CPK(creatine phosphokinase) numerical value decreased from 330(IU/L) to 164 and body heat status improved. Conclusions : Traditional Korean Medicine can be effective in reducing rhabdomyolysis patients' symptoms and changing examination numerical value. And further studies on traditional Korean Medicine of rhabdomyolysis should be carried out.

Sialolithiasis is the common pathology of salivary gland. The size of sialoliths vary from 1 mm to a few cm, but most of that are less than 10 mm. Large sialoliths (larger than 15 mm) are extremely rare. It is called Giant sialolithiasis or megalith. Symptom of the giant sialolithiasis is similar to that of regular sialolithiasis. First choice of treatment is removal of the stone. Many literatures reported various methods to remove the sialoliths. For this case report, we accidentally found the giant sialolith on the computed tomography taken for dental implant, and successfully removed the stone by minimal invasive surgical approach. Base on this result, we report this case with literature reviews.

Adenoid cystic carcinoma is rare and one of the bronchial adenoma. This is a case report of adenoid cystic carcinoma in a 28 years old female patient, which was treated surgically in chest surgery department of Severance hospital, Yonsei University. The tumor was located in cervical trachea with wide base and obstructing the lumen almost completely. The tumor was resected and End-to-End anastomosed. The tumor was confirmed to be adenoid cystic carcinoma histopathologically.

Objectives: This report reports a clinical case of a patient with recurrent aphthous stomatitis (RAS) for 10 years who was completely cured using Korean medicine. Methods: A male patient with terribly severe RAS was hospitalized, and then treated with Jibaekpalmi-hwon, indirect moxibustion (KI 1 and CV 4) and acupuncture. The clinical outcome was observed by self-reported VAS measurement and macroscopy. Results: The severity of stomatitis became improved gradually and completely recovered during 17 hospital days, and RAS has not recurred for three months as an outpatient. The blood test including complement activity was in the normal range. Conclusions: This case report provides information about a therapeutic effect of Jibaekpalmi-hwon and Korean medicine on RAS.

The authors report a case of ganglioglioma in unusual site, the hypothalamus. The tumor was completely removed and no recurrence was noted on the follow up. Ganglioglioma usually occurs in the temporal and frontal lobe, but is rarely found on the hypothalamus. We report this case with pertinent literatual reviews.

Objective : This study reports the effect of Bekhogainsam-tang on psoriasis. Methods : This is a case report on a patient who has been suffering from psorasis. According to Diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions, Bekhogainsam-tang was provided for 47 days. The severity of psoriasis was evaluated by PASI score and pictures. Results : After taking Bekhogainsam-tang for 47 days, PASI score decreased $1.4{\rightarrow}0.2$ Conclusions : This case report showed an effectiveness of using Bekhogainsam-tang according to Diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions on psoriasis.

Objective : This case report presents the effect of Soshiho-tang on Atopic Dermatitis. The patient was diagnosed with Yangmyung-byung based on Shanghanlun provisions. Methods : According to Shanghanlun six meridian patterns diagnostic system, we dianosed the patient as Yangmyung-byung and he had trouble getting out of bed and nighttime itch. The patient was treated with Soshiho-tang. We evaluated the results of treatment by Objective SCORAD Index and pictures. Results : After the treatment, Objective SCORAD Index decreased from 61 to 21.5. And he became to have no trouble in getting up and also nighttime itch vanished. Conclusions : This case report sowed and effectiveness of using Soshiho-tang according to Diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions on Atopic Dermatitis.

Objective : This case report aims to show the effect of Huini-san on depressive disorder. the patient was diagnosed with Soeum-byung based on Shanghanlun provisions. Methods : According to Diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions, the patient was diagnosed with Soeum-byung and the patients are treated with Huini-san. We evaluated the results of treatment by Korean Version of the Remission from Depression Questionnaire. Results : After taking Huini-san decoction for 2 month, the symptoms of patients improved Conclusions : This case report shows that effectiveness of using Huini-san according to Diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions on depressive disorder.
