Recently, Information systems (IS) outsourcing has been becoming a viable strategic alternative in the management of information systems. Accordingly, the demand of research in practice has been changed from how to decide IS outsourcing to how to manage IS outsourcing. However, there is little known about the management of IS outsourcing in existing literature. Moreover, the existing studies suggest conflicting solutions in accordance with their own perspectives : competitive relationship vs. cooperative relationship. The purpose of this study is to address this conflicting result, and consequently to enhance an understanding of IS outsourcing management by introducing the concept of interorganizational control. To meet this purpose, this study adopts Lee(2003)'s integrative model of IS outsourcing management based on the existing literature from different management disciplines and different perspectives, and then conducts four case studies. The result reveals that users, as well as IS manager, play a critical role in controlling IS outsourcing. Moreover, they implement a portfolio of control modes including both informal and formal modes. The result also suggests that the choice of particular control mechanism depends on client, supplier, task, and relationship characteristics.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the link between health and welfare service and barrier's factors by reviewing the connection between the public health center's visiting nurse and social welfare center's social workers Method: A survey by mail or a face-to-face interview of 151 visiting nurses in 25 public health centers and 48 social welfare workers in general social welfare centers in Seoul, was preformed from Feb. 12, 2001 to Mar. 15, 2001. The data were analyzed with frequency, percentage, mean value, paired t-test and independent t-test using SPSS/WIN 7.5 program. Result: 1. ‘The necessity and degree of cooperation with social welfare workers of visiting nurse’ scored average 4.49 and 3.19, and ‘The necessity and degree of cooperation with visiting nurse and social welfare workers’ scored average 4.81 and 3.15 on the five-point scale ; there was a significant difference between the two variable in visiting nurse and social welfare workers. 2. In barrier's factors which health and welfare service offer to, visiting nurses showed statistically significant higher score than social welfare staff; ‘job factor’, ‘resource factor’, ‘clients factor’, ‘individual ability factor’ Conclusion: In order to provide link system that hold clients in common in public health center and social welfare center, it is recommended a case management team should be constructed and educate visiting nurses for case manager.

A Project planning is one of the most important processes that determines success and failure of a project. Scope management for a project planning is also essential job in system integration project. However project planning is very difficult because lots of factors and their relationships should be considered. Therefore project planning of system integration project has been done by project manager's own knowledge and experience. It is necessary to develop an algorithm of WBS(Work Breakdown Structure) identification & document selection along to project's specificity in project management system using AI technique. This study presents a methodology to cope with the limitations of the existing studies that have uniformly been customizing the methodology by only project complexity. We propose PPSM(Project planning support module) based on determination rules regarding route maps and document levels, and CBR(Case-Based Reasoning) for WBS identification.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to establish the standards for duty of Medical Care Client Managers and analyze the extent of accomplishment, importance, and difficulty according to the standards. Methods: The draft for duty of Medical Care Client Managers was formed by the method of developing a curriculum (DACUM) and data were collected from 185 Medical Aid Client Managers in 234 areas to evaluate the actual frequency of accomplishment, importance and difficulty in comparison with the standards for duties. Results: The standard duty draft for Medical Care Client Manager is composed of five separate groups of duties and thirty five tasks. The five duties are Case Management, Extension Approval, External Cause of Injury, Duplicate Claims and Other Administrations. Seven Tasks are allocated to each duty such as Case Management, Extension Approval and External Cause of Injury. Five tasks are allocated to 'Duplicate Claims' duty and nine tasks are allocated to 'Other Administrations' duty. Conclusion: From the results of analysis for duties, it was apprehensive about overburdened responsibilities and carelessness in professional duties. It was necessary to establish specific guidelines for duties because of redundent application or regional variation in frequency of accomplishing other administrative duties. It was necessary to relieve a regional disparity of business charge and also was necessary to propose an alternative plan to relieve the overburdened responsibilities.

This study is significant in determining the reduction of safety accidents by applying PDCA's theory by subdividing it into a case analysis technique for construction sites by PDCA's theory. For this study, accidents accounted for the largest proportion of each type of disaster in the construction site were considered, and safety accidents were reduced through the PDCA theory through prior research. The analysis method of this study derived improvement plans by applying PDCA techniques to plan, implement, confirm, review, and improve disaster accidents at construction sites. The conclusions of this study are as follows. In the plan, first of all, measures shall be taken to prepare a safety management plan, to verify the implementation of the plan, and to verify the degree of implementation by the field manager. In the implementation, first of all, it is necessary to introduce a safety education history system to strengthen the safety education curriculum to suit the site, as long-term work is impossible for field workers depending on field conditions. First of all, it is necessary to strengthen the installation of safety facilities, including "work scaffolding" and "conducting prevention facilities" at construction sites. In management review and improvement, the risk assessment system for construction sites needs to be expanded first°.

As we enter the era of the 4th industrial revolution, information and communication technologies, including artificial intelligence and big data, are converging throughout society. Especially, as the importance of the social foundation of hyper-connection grows, the social influence of IoT, a network of connecting objects, people, and various entities, is also gradually expanding. In addition, as a pandemic, COVID-19, continues, interests in untact-oriented technology and service development are growing more than ever, and each company is trying to establish a core competency strategy to gain an edge in competition in the changing society. This study is a case study centered on Dawon DNS, a company that provides an IoT-based AI smart plug platform. Dawon DNS is broadening its services while developing products by applying advanced technologies, and this study is aiming to investigate the core competencies of the business evolution process. The obtained result of this study will provide implications for companies to become more competitive by suggesting the attitudes and strategies that startups should have during the transforming business environment.

Poor safety management in construction management may adversely affect cost, schedule and quality of a project. Heavy fines upon safety offence becomes a burden to the budget; losing working hours as a result of safety incident impacts on the schedule, and compromising quality is always an indirect consequence when workers perform duties in an unsafe site environment. Therefore, promotion of safety management becomes the top priority in any construction manager's agenda. Working safely will benefit construction project and lead to a "real" success. This paper is a case study, based upon "Geller's 10 principles for achieving a total safety culture", reviewing how a Hong Kong leading construction company fosters the safety culture and possesses a pleasant safety record over years. Its safety performance is not only well ahead the local industry, but also ranges top within the Asia Pacific region and comparable to those mature Western industries. The review concluded that safety culture is one of the major components in construction management and collaboration is the essence to realize this positive culture within an organization. Safety management is not merely a "top down" approach, but requires the positive "bottom up" actions from the other end. The successful story of this company can demonstrate the contribution of safety management in construction management.

실시간 시스템은 서버와 같은 공유자원들에 대해서 보다 높은 우선순위 활동의 최악 블록시간(worst case blocking time)을 결정해야한다. 현재까지 분산 시스템을 위한 여러 서버 모델들이 제안되었으며 이러한 서버모델들에 우선순위 규약을 적용하여 실시간성을 높이고 있다. 본 논문에서는 RT- Mach에서 실시간성을 향상시키기 위한 새로운 모델을 제시하여 우선순위 반전 문제를 해결하기 위해 동적 스레드 관리자(dynamic thread manager) 를 제안하였다. 기존의 여러 서버 모델들과 달리 서버마다 동적 스레드 관리자를 두어 작업자 그룹내에서 유혹 스레드(idle thread)와 바쁜스레드 (busy thread ) 판별하여 적절한 스레드를 선정, 조정하고 서버로부터의 요구에 대해 최상위 우선순위를 할당하여 서버간의 우선순위 반전을 중이고 실시간성을 향상시키고자 했다.

Comparing two pharmaceutical companies which one is adopted a leading-edge information technology for years but the other is still operated by the traditional business styles. This study presented the power of the importance of information technology for improving business foundation for improving business foundation and the top manager have to control the resources of information technology more efficiently for rapid enterprise growth. Information technology adoptions should be considered as an assessing models which could performance the effects of user satisfaction productivity, performance and concentration on the job. The study results revealed that positive attitude toward usage and perceived behavioral control on information technology and helped more other than specific elements in the business. All the outcomes positively related to attitudes toward usage of information technology and its devices.

The purpose of this study is to analyze menu-related research. The findings are as follows. First, menu-related studies have concentrated on menu engineering, menu management, menu development. Therefore, researchers must be diversified the field of researches. Second, methodology of menu-related studies has concentrated on survey research and literature research. Therefore, experiment research and case study must be done. Third, the objects of menu-related research have centered on hotels and family restaurants, so researchers should study diverse objects. Finally, techniques of statistics must be applied in various ways.
