소형궤도차량 운전시격에 관한 고찰(1) (A Study on the Headway for PRT System)

  • In a signal control of the railway system, the first objective is to guarantee a safety of the train operation, and the second is to increase a frequency(a capability of the transportation) of the train operation. In order to express the capability of the transportation a terminology what is called a railroad line capacity is employed. The railroad line capacity means a maximum frequency of the train operation in a possible schedule of the one way operation for one day. During the last several years an improvement in the facilities of the train operation (railroad line extension, improvement in the stations, improvement in the signal facilities) has been achieved to increase the railroad line capacity. In this paper the authors deal with the case analysis which try to shorten headway and which has an impartible relation with increasing of the railroad capacity

스톤컬럼 공법의 지내력 증진 효과에 대한 연구 (The Study of Improvement Effect of Ground Settlements and Bearing Capacity by Stone Columns)

  • 스톤컬럼 공법의 침하량 저감과 지지력 증진 효과를 파악하고자 연약한 준설매립 지반에 쇄석재료와 슬래그 재료를 이용하여 시험시공 후 지하수위계측 및 현장시험을 진행하였다. 현장실험 결과, 지지력 증진 및 침하량 저감 효과가 파악되었으며 상재하중 없이도 지하수위는 저하되는 양상을 보였다. 이는 스톤컬럼 공법이 밀도증가 측면과 더불어 액상화 저항에 우수함을 나타낸다. 일반적인 이론식을 이용하여 원지반 및 복합지반에 대한 침하량과 지지력 산정 결과, 스톤컬럼 공법은 2.7~5.7배의 지지력 증진 효과와 2~3.5배의 침하량 저감 효과가 있는 것으로 판단되었다.

  • Line capacity calculation has been used to determine optimum efficiency and safe train service for train scheduling plan and investment priority order throughout detecting bottleneck section. Because of some problems of Yamagisi and UIC methods for line capacity calculation, developing of the method of line capacity caculation and evaluation for the Korea circumstance is important. This paper deals with the reliability improvement on the integrated system of TPS(Train Performance Simulator), PES(Parameter Evaluation Simulator), LCS(Line Capacity Simulator) and simulation and sensitivity analysis for line capacity.

공공기관 관리감독자 전문성 향상에 영향을 미치는 안전역량강화교육 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Factors of Safety Competency Enhancement Education Influencing the Improvement of the Professionalism of the Supervisor of Public Institution Management Supervisor)

  • This study analyzed effective capacity building education plans for public institution management supervisors. A survey was conducted on 635 management supervisors of public institutions (99 institutions) subject to the safety management rating system to understand the characteristics of educational participants and the impact of educational satisfaction on professionalism improvement after capacity building education. As a result of statistical analysis, the professional improvement according to the affiliation of educational participants was higher in the workplace and construction site divisions than in the research facility division, and the professional improvement according to the working period was higher for more than 15 years than for less than 5 years and less than 15 years. In addition, the quality of education had a significant positive (+) effect on the degree of professional improvement. This study can be used as basic data for further research related to capacity building education for public institution management supervisors

Square footing on geocell reinforced cohesionless soils

  • Ground improvement with use of geosynthetic products is globally accepted now. The present paper discusses the improvement in bearing capacity of square footing placed at surface of cohesionless soil reinforced with geocell. Mohr-Coulomb failure criterion has been used in the observations. To study effects of geocell with respect to planar geogrid, model tests were conducted on planar reinforcement also. A comparative study of unreinforced soil and soil reinforced with plane geogrid and geocell has also been made. Numerical analysis results obtained by PLaxis have been compared with those obtained from model tests and were found to be in good agreement. A parametric study revealed the role of length of reinforcement, spacing between layers, placement of reinforcement from top surface etc. on bearing capacity. A design example given in paper illustrates the savings in cost of construction of footing on reinforced sand. The study shows that there is improvement in bearing capacity with respect to unreinforced soil which is of the order of 86%. Similarly settlement reduction is 13.07% for single layer of geocell which for double layers of geocell is 693% and 86.48% respectively. The cost reduction in case of reinforced soil is 35% as compared to unreinforced soil.

Improvement in uplift capacity of horizontal circular anchor plate in undrained clay by granular column

  • A numerical study has been conducted to examine the improvement achieved in the ultimate pullout capacity of horizontal circular anchor plates embedded in undrained clay, by constructing granular columns of varying diameter over the anchor plates. The analysis has been carried out by using lower bound theorem of limit analysis and finite elements in combination with linear programming. The improvement in uplifting capacity of anchor plate is expressed in terms of an efficiency factor (${\xi}$). The efficiency factor (${\xi}$) has been defined as the ratio of ultimate vertical pullout capacity of anchor plate having diameter D embedded in soft clay reinforced by granular column to the vertical pullout capacity of the anchor plate with same diameter D embedded in soft clay only. The variation of efficiency factor (${\xi}$) for different embedment ratios and different diameter of granular column has been studied considering a wide range of softness of clay and different value of soil internal friction angle (${\phi}$) of the granular material. It is observed that ${\xi}$ increases with an increase in diameter of the granular column ($D_t$) and increase in friction angle of granular material. Also, the effectiveness of the usage of granular column increases with decrease in cohesion of the clay.

Influence of Evjenth-Hamberg Stretching on the Lung Function of Adults with Forward Head Posture

  • This study was conducted to examine the effects of Evjenth-Hamberg stretching of the sternocleidomastoid, upper trapezius, and pectoralis major on the lung function of adults with forward neck posture. The subjects were 20 adult students in P university located in Pohang, Korea, whose degree of head forward displacement measured according to NEW YORK state posture test was mild. The subjects were randomly and equally assigned to the Evjenth-Hamberg Stretching group (EHSG, n=10) and the control group (CG, n=10). Their forced vital capacity (FVC), slow vital capacity (SVC), and maximal voluntary ventilation (MVV) were measured before and after the experiment. In within-group comparison, only the EHSG experienced statistically significant improvement in FVC, forced expiratory volume in the first second (FEV1), and peak expiratory flow (PEE) after the experiment, compared to before the experiment (.05

중국 지방정부 역량이 대기오염 개선성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Local Government Capacities on the Improvement of Air Pollution in China)

  • 이 연구는 중국 지방정부 역량이 대기오염 개선에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 2007년부터 2014년까지 중국 성급 행정단위를 대상으로 $SO_2$, $CO_2$, 분진 등 대기오염 물질과 지방정부 역량에 관한 자료를 이용하여 동적패널모형을 구축하였다. 분석 결과는 지방정부의 역량 중에서 환경인력, 환경예산, 환경기관 평균규모 등 조직역량이 가장 중요하고, 제도역량이나 사회역량은 대기오염 개선에 대한 영향이 미미함을 보여준다. 조직역량 이외의 지방정부 역량 중에서는 사회역량인 환경단체의 활동성만이 부분적으로 대기오염 개선에 영향을 미치고 있다. 지역 여건과 관련해서는 재정의 수직적 의존도 및 1인당 GDP, 인구 밀도 등이 대기오염 개선에 부정정적인 영향을 미친다. 이러한 연구결과는 대기오염 개선을 위해 중국 지방정부들이 어떤 역량을 특히 강화해야 하는지에 대한 시사점을 제공한다.

맥문동탕(麥門冬湯)이 폐활량 개선에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Maekmundong-tang on the Improvement of Lung Capacity)

  • Objectives : This experiment was performed in order to study the effect of Maekmundong-tang on dyspnea patients. Methods : This study involved 14 dyspnea patients from March 1, 2012 to May 31, 2012. Lung capacity of the patients is evaluated with Peak flow meter. Results : Maekmundong-tang administration was revealed effect on dyspnea patients' lung capacity. Conclusions : It was found that Maekmundong-tang administration was effective on dyspnea patients' lung capacity. The mean degree of improvement was 21.79(L/min). It was shown that the more mild dyspnea level was, the more effective and short-term administration more effective.

  • 성토지반의 지지력을 향상시키기 위하여 지반개량이나 다짐과 같은 일반적인 방법들이 많이 이용되고 있다. 하지만, 최근에는 내구성이 크고 강한 합성수지와 같은 재료들이 개발되어 실용화됨으로서, 보강토공법이 널리 적용되고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 한층의 지오텍스타일로 보강된 모래지반상의 대상기초에 대한 모형실험을 평면변형률 상태에서 실시하여, 지오텍스타일의 설치위치와 길이, 강도의 변화에 따른 지지력의 증대효과와 지반의 거동을 관찰하였다.
