We consider an M$_1$, M$_2$/G/1/ K retrial queueing system with a finite priority queue for type I calls and infinite retrial group for type II calls where blocked type I calls may join the retrial group. These models, for example, can be applied to cellular mobile communication system where handoff calls have higher priority than originating calls. In this paper we apply the supplementary variable method where supplementary variable is the elapsed service time of the call in service. We find the joint generating function of the numbers of calls in the priority queue and the retrial group in closed form and give some performance measures of the system.

Background: The purpose of this study were to identify the physical therapist's turnover experience in Busan Metropolitan city and its related general factors, and to investigate the turnover, moving-in and out rate. Methods: First Data were collected from 102 physical therapists who working in Busan Metropolitan city using structured questionnaires and then second data collected from who call to directly. Results: Physical therapists expressed high level of turnover experience. Physical therapist's turnover experience was significantly different by their age, marital status, sex, working place and career. In proportion of the total increasing rate of physical therapist and turnover rate was increased. Conclusion: To prevent or reduce physical therapist's turnover rate, more research about causal relationships of physical therapist's turnover should studied.

본 논문에서는 서비스업 종사자들의 감정노동에 따른 언어폭력의 실례를 파악하여 보고자 한다. 폭력은 외부로 가해지는 신체적 상해로 인지하고 있으나 언어폭력에 대한 인식은 상대적으로 미약하다. 외적으로 드러나는 상해가 아니어서 언어적 폭력의 강도는 더욱 심해지고 있으며, 자신의 감정 해소를 위한 수단으로 악이용되는 사례도 다분하다. 언어폭력이 미치는 영향 및 잘못된 인식 개선과 사회적, 제도적 대응 방안 마련 등 문제 제기를 통해 앞으로 심층적 연구를 하고자 한다.

In this paper, a new type of passive energy dissipating system similar to added damping and stiffness (ADAS) and triangular added damping and stiffness (TADAS) is proposed and implemented in the analytical model of a building with hybrid structural system in the structure's base which we call it; Telescopic column. The behavior and performance of a high rise R.C. structure equipped with this system is investigated and compared with conventional base isolation systems such as rubber isolator bearings and friction pendulum bearings. For this purpose a series of ground acceleration records of the San Fernando, Long Beach and Imperial Valley earthquakes are used as the disturbing ground motions in a series of numerical simulations. The nonlinear numerical modeling which includes both material and geometric nonlinearities were carried out by using SAP2000 program. Results show suitable behavior of structures equipped with telescopic columns in controlling the upper stories drifts and accelerations.

This study is focused on the rules for resolving documentary credits disputes. First, International Chamber of Commerce published Documentary Credit Dispute Expertise Rules on October 1, 1997. The DOCDEX Rules are the International Chamber of Commerce(ICC) response to a clear call from the international banking community for a rapid, cost effective, expert-based dispute resolution mechanism for documentary credit practice, including bank-to-bank reimbursement issues. Next, The International Center for Letter of Credit Arbitration was established in September 1996. The Center was founded as a result of an initiative from within the letter of credit community and has been co-sponsored by the United States Council on International Banking(USCIB) and the Institute of International Banking Law and Practice Inc. In September, ICLOCA adopted its "Rules of Arbitration for Letter of Credit Disputes." Therefore, parties to letter of credit disputes should choose a appropriate dispute resolution mechanism under the circumstances in the future.

We demonstrate the operation of an apparatus that we call the laser scanning confocal microscopy. It is valuable tool of the investigations for imaging process. We measured the thin metal structure through the SCM manufacture. Confocal microscopy offers several advantages including shallow depth of field, elimination of out-of-focus glare, and the ability to collect serial optical sections from thick specimens than conventional optical microscope. This research is manufactured of scanning confocal microscopy and after measured of metal materials structure.

This paper is intended as a basic study in which the purpose is to provide understanding of the workings of man in relation to his information resources. Such understanding would prove of value in formulating the policies of an inoformation center serving the fields of science and technology. The information problem of the scientific community was assessed in the lights of the characteristics of the information (cumulativeness, currency versus obsolescence, volume versus redundancy, interrelationships, and foreign literature)and the flow of information and communication patterns covering the use of the variety of media and the information gathering habits of scientists. What can be done to ease the problem was sought in the improvements and innovations which call the attentions of the scientists and the technologists as producers and users of the information, of the professional organizations of various disciplines and of government.

The Chinese algebraic method, the tian yuan shu, was developed during Song period (960-1279), of which Li Ye's works contain the earliest testimony. Two 18th century editors commentated on his works: the editor of the Siku quanshu and Li Rui, the latter responding to the former. Korean scholar Nam Byeong-gil added another response in 1855. Differences can be found in the way these commentators considered mathematical objects and procedures. The conflicting nature of these commentaries shows that the same object, the quadratic equation, can beget different interpretations, either a procedure or an assertion of equality. Textual elements in this paper help modern readers reconstruct different authors' understandings and reconsider the evolution of the definition of the object we now call 'equation'.

현재 VoIP(Voice over IP) 기술의 발전을 주도하고 있는 SIP(Session Initiation Protocol)은 IETF에서 표준화된 프로토콜로서 인터넷 컨퍼런스와 인터넷 텔레포니 등 멀티미디어 응용을 위한 기술이다. 이 프로토콜은 텍스트 기반의 시그널링을 통하여 넓은 확장성과 다양한 응용성을 제공하면서 기존의 H.323 을 대체하는 기술로서 주목을 받게 되었다. 그러나 사실상 현재의 인터넷 기술을 이용하여 기존의 음성 전화서비스와 동일한 품질의 서비스를 제공하기에는 아직도 해결해야 할 기술들이 많은 실정이다. 특히, 서비스 품질(Quality of Service)을 보장하는 문제는 VoIP 기술의 성장을 위해서 필수적이다. 이에 본 논문은 QoS 제공 망에서 SIP UA 가 QoS 가 제공되는 콜(call)을 설정하기 위하여 확장되어져야 하는 모듈 및 메소드와 변화되는 시그널링 절차등에 대하여 설명하고, 이를 실제 VoIP 응용에 적용하기 위한 설계 및 구현 작업에 대하여 기술한다.

Different countries create their own green building rating system to be in line with sustainable development as a response to the urgent call for solution for Climate Change and degradation of the environment due to rapid population growth and economic development. This study conducts a critical review on the Philippine national voluntary green building rating system, BERDE, in comparison with South Korea's national voluntary green building rating system, G-SEED and U.S. rating system LEED. Their categories, building types assessed, and assessment methods were compared side by side to seek better practice(s) for green building rating assessment for Philippine green building projects.
