오염총량관리 할당부하량 초과지역의 최종 평가기준에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Final Evaluation Criteria of Allocation Exceedance Regional in Total Maximum Daily Load)

  • The Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) is a watershed management system that involves the establishment of the target water quality, the calculation of permission loading (allocation loading), and the control of total pollutants for each unit watershed. Allocation loading is assessed through the comprehensive implementation assessment of the previous year's plan. Assessment results are used for follow-up management measures such as the limit of development and updating of TMDL Management Implementation Plans for the next planning period. Although detailed assessment criteria are important, they are not currently available. Therefore, we suggested assessment criteria by comparing two methods('integration method' and 'separation method') using combination point and non-point discharge loading. We also examined the penalty criteria considering controllable load local government and updating methods of the TMDL Management Implementation Plan for the next planning period.

강풍 피해에 따른 피해비용의 효율적인 산정을 위한 분류체계 개발 (Development of Categorization System for Efficient Calculation of Damage Cost according to Strong Wind)

  • In this study, the plan to construct a disaster information categorization system that can be objectively and efficiently performed was suggested in order to perform disaster management task systematically. Recently, the damage of natural disasters is gradually growing larger and faster, increasing the economic loss. Especially, as for the domestic storm damage, the damage from strong wind was found to be greater than the damage from torrential rain. Also, strong wind was found to be inflicting a great damage on human life, property and agricultural crops, so the necessity to study damage restoration from strong wind is increasing. Nevertheless, the damage items categorized in the domestic disaster year book are often comprehensive or unclear in criteria, and thus fail to reflect items or matters due to actual disaster damage. It is difficult to aggregate damage accurately such that it does not correspond to the national compensation scope or the damage amount is calculated according to subjective judgment of the investigator in charge. As such, if the disaster information management is inadequate by not applying accurate categorization criteria from damage amount calculation, there can be an issue with fairness when paying the damage support aid. Therefore, this study suggested a categorization plan for objective and efficient execution of disaster information management task in order to resolve such issues. It is expected that quick and efficient execution would be possible in disaster information management and task procedure domestically by constructing systematic categorization system related to disaster information.

Simulation of Evacuation Route Scenarios Through Multicriteria Analysis for Rescue Activities

  • After a disaster happens in urban areas, many people need support for a quick evacuation. This work aims to develop a method for the calculation of the most feasible evacuation route inside buildings. In the methodology we simplify the geometry of the structural and non structural elements from the BIM (Building Information Modeling) to store them in a spatial database which follows standards to support vector data. Then, we apply the multicriteria analysis with the allocation of prioritization values and weight factors validated through the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process), in order to obtain the Importance Index S(n) of the elements. The criteria consider security conditions and distribution of the building's facilities. The S(n) is included as additional heuristic data for the calculation of the evacuation route through an algorithm developed as a variant of the $A^*$ pathfinding, The experimental results in the simulation of evacuation scenarios for vulnerable people in healthy physical conditions and for the elderly group, shown that the conditions about the wide of routes, restricted areas, vulnerable elements, floor roughness and location of facilities in the building applied in the multicriteria analysis has a high influence on the processing of the developed variant of $A^*$ algorithm. The criteria modify the evacuation route, because they considers as the most feasible route, the safest instead of the shortest, for the simulation of evacuation scenarios for people in healthy physical conditions. Likewise, they consider the route with the location of facilities for the movement of the elderly like the most feasible in the simulation of evacuation route for the transit of the elderly group. These results are important for the assessment of the decision makers to select between the shortest or safest route like the feasible for search and rescue activities.

  • Precise propulsion shafting alignment of ships is very important to prevent damage of its support bearings due to excessive reaction forces caused by hull deflection, forces acted on propeller and crankshaft, and so forth. In this paper, a new iterative shafting alignment calculation procedure considering the interaction between shaft deflection and oil film pressure of Sterntube Journal Bearing (SJB) bush with single or multiple slopes is proposed. The procedure is based on a pressure analysis to evaluate distributed equivalent support stiffness of SJB by solving Reynolds equation and a deflection analysis of shafting system by a finite element method based on Timoshenko beam theory. SJB is approximated with multi-point biaxial elastic supports equally distributed to its length. Their initial stiffness values are estimated from dynamic reaction force calculated by assuming SJB as single rigid support. Then, the shaft deflection and the support stiffness of SJB are sequentially and iteratively calculated by applying a criteria on deflection variation between sequential calculation results. To demonstrate validity and applicability of the proposed procedure for optimal slope design of SJB, numerical analysis results for a shafting system are described.

가상착의 시스템을 이용한 여고생의 보디스 원형 개발 (Development of the High School Girls Bodice Pattern Using Virtual Garment Simulation)

  • This study develops a bodice pattern for high school girls aged 17 to 19 that use virtual garment simulation. The study developed a bodice pattern based on the fit evaluation result for two selected bodice patterns. The basic formula of the design method based on the result of 3 times of fit evaluation is as follows: waist back $length=stature/8{\times}1.85cm$, waist front length=waist back length+bust/40+0.7cm, front bust girth=bust/2+4cm, back bust girth=Chest/2+3cm, armscye depth=Chest/4+0.5cm, back interscye length=bishoulder length -1.2cm, front interscye length=back interscye length -1.2cm, front neck width=back neck width -0.3cm. The developed bodice pattern used Bishoulder Length as a criteria for the calculation formula of back interscye length, and back interscye length as a criteria for the calculation formula of front interscye length. The fit evaluation showed the relevance of the bishoulder length, front interscye length, and back interscye length based on a comparison of the calculated figure. A bodice pattern with great body suitability and fitness to high school girls was developed through 3D virtual garment simulation that calculated the application of body proportion to width. This study only analyzed the evaluation result of a virtual model only in a representative form; however, a pattern study is also proposed to compare and analyze the design methods of patterns by body type.

지방중소도시의 누수관리방법에 대한 효율성 평가 (Efficiency evaluation of water leakage management methods in local small and medium cities)

  • This study set up the estimates of leakage management efficiency evaluation and leakage management goal that could be used in local water distribution networks efficiency business and modernization business. The data were analyzed using data envelopment analysis and multiple regression analysis. To this end, with leakage management input indices concerning leakage reduction activities (e.g., aged pipe replacement, water meter replacement, leakage restoration, and leakage detection) and leakage management calculation indices (e.g., the increase of revenue water ratio and the reduction of leakage ratio), the data on 22 K-water consignment local water supply systems were analyzed for the years from 2004 through 2018. Using the results of efficiency analysis by data envelopment analysis, the other DMUs (Decision Making Unit) benchmarked the DMU with the highest efficiency to maximize the leakage management efficiency for all DMUs. Through this, leakage management goal estimates were drawn with the input indices of four leakage reduction activities and calculation indices of the increase of revenue water ratio and the reduction of leakage ratio by multiple regression analysis for each group based on the revenue water ratio and leakage ratio. The correlation coefficients of the leakage management goal estimate for the criteria for the revenue water ratio amounted to 0.553 and 0.771. The correlation coefficients of the leakage management goal estimate for the criteria for leakage ratio were 0.397 and 0.865. Accordingly, we estimated the quantity and priority of four leakage reduction activities for the target leakage ratio and revenue water ratio.

Age Estimation Based on Mandibular Premolar and Molar Development: A Pilot Study

  • Purpose: The dental age estimation of children is performed using dental maturity. Postmortem missing of the anterior teeth or the distortion of image of the anterior teeth in panoramic radiographs can make it difficult to analyze the development of the anterior teeth. This pilot study was conducted to derive a new age estimation method based only on the developmental stage of mandibular posterior teeth. Methods: This study was conducted using panoramic radiographs of 650 subjects aged 3 to 15 years old. The dental developmental stages of the lower left first premolar, second premolar, first molar and second molar were evaluated according to the Demirjian's criteria. The intra-/inter-observer reliability was evaluated, and multiple linear regression analyses were performed including the developmental stage of each tooth as an independent variable. Results: The intra-/inter-observer reliability was 0.9626 and 0.8877, respectively, and showed very high reproducibility. Multiple linear regression analyses were performed for males and females, and the age calculation table was derived by obtaining the intercept and the coefficient according to the development stage of each tooth. The coefficient of determination (r2) of the age calculation method was 0.9634 for male and 0.9570 for female subjects, and the mean difference between chronological age and estimated dental age was -0.42 and -0.21, respectively. Conclusions: This pilot study evaluated the developmental stages of four lower posterior teeth in the Korean group according to Demirjian's criteria, and derived age estimation method. The accuracy was lower than when more teeth were used, but it will be useful to estimate age of children when the anterior teeth are difficult to accurately analyze.

  • 사용자 요구의 다양화와 그에 따른 트래픽 증가 등 현재의 IMT-2000 기반에서 수용할 수 없는 보다 복잡한 이동 멀티미디어 환경이 도래하고 있다. 이러한 이동 멀티미디어 서비스를 원활히 제공하기 위해 ITU-R을 중심으로 한 전 세계 이동통신 업계는 이미 4세대용 시스템 규격 및 개발에 상당한 진전을 보이고 있다. 본 논문에서는 4세대 이동통신용 기술기준을 기존의 3.5세대인 WiBro의 기술기준을 근간으로 하여, 주요 기술기준 파라메터를 분석하였다. 또한 주요 기술기준 중 송 수신측의 공통요소인, 점유주파수 대역폭을 WiBro의 기술기준을 참고하여 도출하였으며, 모의실험을 통해 검증하였다. 따라서 본 논문의 결과를 4세대 이동통신용 점유주파수 대역폭으로 제안한다.

미래 학교시설의 건축계획방향에 관한 연구 (A Study for Architectural Planning Direction to the Future School Facilities)

  • 본 연구는 4차산업혁명 등 새로운 패러다임에 대비하기 위한 미래 학교건축계획의 체계화를 최종목표로 하는 선행연구로써 계획 요소 및 원칙 설정을 통한 계획방향 제시를 주요 목적으로 하며, 연구결과를 바탕으로 향후 계획모형 제안을 통해 학교시설이 과학, 기술, 환경 등 각 분야의 선도적 개념을 수용한 교육적 역할을 수행할 수 있도록 하는데 그 의의가 있다. 이를 위해서 미래 학교시설 관련 선행연구 및 연구자료 등을 통한 이론적인 개념을 통한 도출과 교육부의 우수시설학교 평가기준과 조달청의 설계공모 평가기준을 통한 건축계획요소 도출, 국내외 미래학교 사례를 통한 계획사례 도출을 근거로 미래 학교시설 건축계획 요소와 원칙을 유추하고, 건축계획방향을 제안하였다.

출력인자 계산에 이용되는 등가면법의 타당성 연구 : 장방형 X-선 조사면에 대해서 안전한가\ulcorner (Application of the Equivalent-Field Method for Output Calculation: Is it safe for elongated x-ray fields\ulcorner)

  • 연구 목적: 등가면법은 장방형의 X-선 조사면의 출력인자 계산에 널리 이용되고 있다. 본 연구에 서는 출력인자 계산시 등가면법의 적용에 영향을 줄 수 있는 선질, 조사면의 두 변의 길이의 비, 측정점의 깊이 등을 조사하였다. 또한 등가면법의 타당성이 유지되는 영역을 밝히는 어림계산법을 제시하였다. 대상 및 방법 : 본 연구에 사용된 X-선의 선원은 4-, 6-, l0-MV 이었다. 조사면의 폭을 5-40 cm 까지 변화시키고 각 조사면에서 두 변의 비를 1:1 에서 10:1 까지 변화시켰다. 조사면의 장방효과는 물팬톰을 이용하였으며, dmax, 5-cm, 10-cm 깊이에서 시행하였다. 장방형의 조사면과 각 조사면에 대한 등가정사각형면에서의 출력인자를 구하여 이들 두 방법에서의 차이를 나타냈다. 결과 및 토의: 장방형의 조사면과 이에 대응하는 등가면 간의 출력인자의 차이는 일반적으로 장방비가 커질수록 증가하였다. 장방형의 조사면에 대한 출력인자의 측정값은 일반적으로 각 조사면의 등가정사각형면을 이용하여 계산한 값보다 높게 나타나서 크게는 10%의 차이를 나타냈다. 똑같은 두 변의 비에 대하여 장방형의 조사면과 둥가정사각형면에 대한 출력인자의 차이는 조사면의 크기가 작을수록 크게 나타났다. 실험에 사용한 각각에서 선질의 종류와 각각의 선질에서 측정깊이에서 두 값은 큰 차이를 보이지 않았다. 결론 : 본 연구결과에 의하여 등가면법을 출력인자 계산에 사용할 경우 이를 판단할 어림계산법을 구할 수 있다. 한 변의 길이가 25-cm 이하인 조사면에 대하여 만일 장방비 < (0.48) (긴 변의 길이) - 0.5를 만족하는 경우에는 출력인자의 오차를 2% 안에서 등가면법을 이용할 수 있다. 이와는 다른 경우에는 출력인자를 직접 측정하여야 한다. 이러한 기준은 4-10MV X-선원에 대하여 10-cm 깊이의 측정점까지 타당하다.
