A Study on the Spatial Distribution Characteristic of Urban Surface Temperature using Remotely Sensed Data and GIS (원격탐사자료와 GIS를 활용한 도시 표면온도의 공간적 분포특성에 관한 연구)

  • This study used four theoretical models, such as two-point linear model, linear regression model, quadratic regression model and cubic regression model which are presented from The Ministry of Science and Technology, for extraction of urban surface temperature from Landsat TM band 6 image. Through correlation and regression analysis between result of four models and AWS(automatic weather station) observation data, this study could verify spatial distribution characteristic of urban surface temperature using GIS spatial analysis method. The result of analysis for surface temperature by landcover showed that the urban and the barren land belonged to the highest surface temperature class. And there was also -0.85 correlation in the result of correlation analysis between surface temperature and NDVI. In this result, the meteorological environmental characteristics wuld be regarded as one of the important factor in urban planning.

  • Recently, as GIS industry has substantially grown up, convergence between industries such as the application coverage of surveying and cadastral information is gradually on the increase. The new approach of convergence between topographic surveying and cadastral survey is indispensable to make the change of geospatial environment ready and to maximize the utilization of National Spatial Data Infrastructure(NSDI). The purpose of this paper is to seek the way of synergistic improvement in topographic surveying and cadastral survey in comprehensive aspects of national geospatial information. First, we reviewed policy environment to clearly establish aim of convergence and promising perspective of GIS industry policy, considering NSDI. In addition, we examined current state of administration (organization, human resource, service) and institution situation. We came up with interior ability and external policy environment as well as critical success factor for the synergistic convergence by using SWOT analysis. Lastly, we developed basic perspective of convergence and improvement model and concrete scheme for stakeholder to complementary make progress. We can come to conclusion that the convergence of topographic surveying and cadastral survey should be not only carried in macro outline of successful NSDI but also committed to completion and maintenance of GIS framework.

Design and Implementation of Service Model for Tailored Residential Space based on 3D Cadastral Information (3차원 지적정보 기반 맞춤형 주거 공간정보 서비스 모델 개발)

  • Recently, Through the linkage and opening, the fusion of the spatial information, it is necessary for productive ecosystem to provide a variety of information and to increase the civil use. Depending on the economic growth, demand for quality of life and well-being has been on the increase. Spatial information service contents for the public convenience has emerged to solve the problem such as health, safety, welfare and discomfort of daily life This study aims to implement search services for a tailored residence space through the three-dimensional data modeling on cadastral information. To achieve this goal, we established the requirements for deriving a registered object by investigating recent trend with respect to existing cadastral data model and defined property and relationship. Focusing on Songpa-gu, Jamsil station in Seoul, we implemented search services for a tailored residence space for three-dimensional right analysis in conjunction with residential and commercial complex building. As a result, we derived a way to supply 3D cadastre information through open platforms (VWorld) and to represent efficiently, which is able to improve the quality of spatial information service contents for the public convenience as well as to widen utilization of information.

  • Geography Information System is divided to many details fields such as Urban Information System, Land Information System, Military Information System etc. These detailed fields are connected each other and make National Geography Information System. Now Geography Information System is being used in many fields with Urban Information System. And information of all field is being constructed to network for share each other. Now Land Information System(LIS) is being constructed to two dimensional. But LIS can construct and utilize three dimensional geographic data by connecting Geography Information System and this effect will be greatest. Thus, the study of connecting cadastral map and digital terrain map must be continued. Through the study of connecting digital terrain map, the construction and analysis of three dimensional digital elevation model will be able to construct Land Information System effectively. To this study, the authors constructed integrated geographic data by uniting digital terrain map and cadastral map and constructed three dimensional digital elevation model. By connecting cadastral information database, the authors developed three dimensional Integrated Land Information System.

  • In Ubiquitous Information society, real shape of spatial information and accurate position information are required. Spatial information standardization is needed to service for the people. International standard was defined to ensure compatibilities of various standards, technologies, and terminologies and to promote mutual trade certain criteria and standard forms were established through international agreement. International standard is made by International Organization for Standardization, and International Standard Organization Technical Committee 211 manages the geographic information field. ISO TC 211 is working on LADM (Land Administration Domain Model) which defines administration law and spatial surveying component related to land and efficiently manages data and land systems of the countries. This study introduced processing of standardization of a surveying package which is related with LADM and comparing it with Korea Cadastral information system.

  • At the present time the cadastral sections has a document for constructing database of land register and commit to record the assessed cost of land in field. Kumjung-Ku, Pusan is a model in this study. It is possible to investigate the present land record by connecting graphic data with attribute data in author's program. AutoCAD make possible to connect graphic data with attribute data. Because of limitation of constructing database in AutoCAD, authors construct independent database in Clipper's circumstance. Database in AutoCAD and Clipper is connected to the menu-file in AutoCAD's circumstance.

  • In recent years, LiDAR technology has been becoming more popular and important. Its applications are completely replacing the traditional remote sensing technique. One of these applications is creating Digital City Models in urban areas, which is essential for many others such as disaster management, cartographic mapping, simulation of new buildings, updating and keeping cadastral data. In most of these cases the building outlines is the primary feature of interest. In this paper, a method of extracting building outlines from LiDAR data will be performed.

Assessment of the FC-DenseNet for Crop Cultivation Area Extraction by Using RapidEye Satellite Imagery (RapidEye 위성영상을 이용한 작물재배지역 추정을 위한 FC-DenseNet의 활용성 평가)

  • In order to stably produce crops, there is an increasing demand for effective crop monitoring techniques in domestic agricultural areas. In this manuscript, a cultivation area extraction method by using deep learning model is developed, and then, applied to satellite imagery. Training dataset for crop cultivation areas were generated using RapidEye satellite images that include blue, green, red, red-edge, and NIR bands useful for vegetation and environmental analysis, and using this, we tried to estimate the crop cultivation area of onion and garlic by deep learning model. In order to training the model, atmospheric-corrected RapidEye satellite images were used, and then, a deep learning model using FC-DenseNet, which is one of the representative deep learning models for semantic segmentation, was created. The final crop cultivation area was determined as object-based data through combination with cadastral maps. As a result of the experiment, it was confirmed that the FC-DenseNet model learned using atmospheric-corrected training data can effectively detect crop cultivation areas.

Analysis of GIUH Model using River Branching Characteristic Factors (하천분기 특성인자를 고려한 지형학적 순간단위도 모형의 해석)

  • The purpose of this research was to develop a model that minimizes time and money for deriving topographical property factors and hydro-meteorological property factors, which are used in interpreting flood flow, and that makes it possible to forecast rainfall-runoff using a least number of factors. That is, the research aimed at suggesting a runoff interpretation method that considers the river branching characteristics but not the topographical and geological properties and the land cover conditions, which had been referred in general. The subject basin of the research was the basin of Yeongcheon Dam located in the upper reaches of the Kumho River. The parameters of the model were derived from the results of abstracting topological properties out of rainfall-runoff observation data about heavy rains and Digital Elevation Modeling(DEM). According to the result of examining calculated peak runoff, the Clark Model and the GIUH Model showed relative errors of 1.9~23.9% and 0.8~11.3%, respectively and as a whole, the peak values of hydrograph appeared high. In addition, according to the result of examining the time when peak runoff took place, the relative errors of the Clark Model and the GIUH Model were 0.5~1 and 0~1 hour respectively, and as a whole, peak flood time calculated by the GIUH Model appeared later than that calculated by the traditional Clark Model.

  • Land information is the real-time spatial thing which must be considered with spatial and time factors. This study aims to apply and implement an appropriate spatiotemporal model for land information by exploring spatiotemporal data models which have been suggested in the previous studies. The implemented spatiotemporal model in this study is characterized by time and attribute. In the time aspect, it is divided by valid time and transaction time, and in the attribute aspect, includes the related information such as area and ownership. At the spatial point of view, the model has a spaghetti information structure as reducing information overlapped by managing the spatial information coordinates. The spatiotemporal land information model in this study facilitates representing the quality of attribute, spatial and time information.
