In the TV manufacturing industry, a demand for chic design of TVs is increasing. As a reult of this trend in TV design, more curved surfaces in a TV cabinet are introduced, which enforces the use of fixers to combine a front cabinet with a TV main body. In this paper, we introduce a robot system for attaching various types of fixers to a TV cabinet. The developed system consists of three main blocks. The first one is the dispensing block, in which transferred cabinet is centered and UV adhesives are dispensed on the cabinet. The second one is the fixer attaching block, in which a cabinet is centered again and fixers are attached to pre-determined places on a cabinet by a robot with several end effectors. The last one is the UV hardening block, in which very strong ultraviolet rays are applied to the cabinet for attaching fixers tightly to the cabinet. The developed system is successfully adopted in a TV manufacturing process.
Seismic qualifications of electrical equipment, such as cabinet systems, have been emerging as the key area of nuclear power plants in Korea since the 2016 Gyeongju earthquake, including the high-frequency domain. In addition, electrical equipment was sensitive to the high-frequency ground motions during the past earthquake. Therefore, this paper presents the rocking behavior of the electrical cabinet system subjected to Reg. 1.60 and UHS. The high fidelity finite element (FE) model of the cabinet related to the shaking table test data was developed. In particular, the first two global modes of the cabinet from the experimental test were 16 Hz and 24 Hz, respectively. In addition, 30.05 Hz and 37.5 Hz were determined to be the first two local modes in the cabinet. The high fidelity FE model of the cabinet using the ABAQUS platform was extremely reconciled with shaking table tests. As a result, the dynamic properties of the cabinet were sensitive to electrical instruments, such as relays and switchboards, during the shaking table test. In addition, the amplification with respect to the vibration transfer function of the cabinet was observed on the third floor in the cabinet due to localized impact corresponding to the rocking phenomenon of the cabinet under Reg.1.60 and UHS. Overall, the rocking of the cabinet system can be caused by the low-frequency oscillations and higher peak horizontal acceleration.

Recently, as the number of safety accidents caused by reagents increases, researches on a system that can reduce safety accidents are underway. Existing systems managed reagent cabinet through various sensors. On the other hand, there are disadvantages in that countermeasures against simultaneous danger situations are insufficient at multi-reagents cabinet. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes a system to manage the reagents cabinet through danger priority. Danger priorities are selected through domestic chemical accident cases and the Chemical Safety Management Act. If a danger situation occurs in the reagent cabinet, make sure it is from a single or multiple reagent cabinets. For multiple reagent cabinets, compare the reagent cabinet priorities and run the device sequentially from the reagent cabinet with the highest priority. Thus, by operating the device according to the danger priority, the chain reaction can be prevented in advance and the reagent cabinet can be safely managed.
The in-cabinet response spectrum is used to define the input motion in the seismic qualification of instruments and devices mounted inside an electrical cabinet. This paper presents a procedure for generating the in-cabinet response spectrum for electrical equipment based on in-situ testing by an impact hammer. The proposed procedure includes an algorithm to build the relationship between the impact forces and the measured acceleration responses of cabinet structures by estimating the state-space model. This model is used to predict seismic responses to the equivalent earthquake forces. Three types of structural model are analyzed for numerical verification of the proposed method. A comparison of predicted and simulated response spectra shows good convergence, demonstrating the potential of the proposed method to predict the response spectra for real cabinet structures using vibration tests. The presented procedure eliminates the uncertainty associated with constructing an analytical model of the electrical cabinet, which has complex mass distribution and stiffness.
This paper investigates the seismic behavior of an electrical cabinet considering the influence of equipment-anchor-interaction (EAI) that is generally not taken into consideration in a decoupled analysis. The hysteresis behavior of an anchor bolt in concrete was thereby considered to highlight this interaction effect. To this end, the experimental behavior of an anchor bolt under reversed cyclic loading was taken from the recently developed literature, and a numerical model for the anchor hysteresis was developed using the component approach. The hysteresis properties were then used to calibrate the multi-linear link element that is implemented as a boundary condition for the cabinet incorporating the EAI. To highlight this EAI further, the nonlinear time history analysis was performed for a cabinet considering the hysteresis behavior comparative to a fixed boundary condition. Additionally, the influence on the seismic fragility was evaluated for the operational and structural condition of the cabinet. The numerical analysis considering the anchor hysteresis manifests that the in-cabinet response spectra (ICRS) are significantly amplified with the corresponding reduction in the seismic capacity of 25% and 15% for an operational and structural safety condition under the selected protocols. Considering the fixed boundary condition over a realistic hysteresis behavior of the anchor bolt is more likely to overestimate the seismic capacity of the cabinet in a seismic qualification procedure.
This study aimed to find out the suitable design of footwear cabinet. The questionnaire data from 1969 persons of 400 families about footwear cabinet showed following results. 1) The number of shoes was related with sex, age, occupation, family income, the number of family members and educational level of housewives. 2) The size of shoes in the range of 80% of the investigated shoes was 30cm of height, 30cm of length, and 10cm of width. 3) The satisfaction with footwear cabints was mainly decided by the size and space of the cabinet. 4) Umbrella, tools and shoe polish and brush were usually kept in the footwear cabinet as well as shoes. On the basic of the results above. The size of 108cm of length (20cm for umbrella), 35cm of width and 105cm of height is sugested as the desirable footwear cabinet for the General public housing scale apartment for 5 family members and this cabinet should have 5 divider and one flexible divider by 30cm which may be adjusted by 20cm.
Electrical instruments and devices contained in cabinets for controlling nuclear power plants require seismic qualification; likewise, in-cabinet response spectrum (ICRS) is necessary. Gupta et al. (1999) suggested the Ritz method, where rocking, frame bending, and plate bending behaviors of cabinets are considered, as a method for determining ICRS. This research proposes a method to determine the rocking stiffness of cabinets, which represents its rocking behavior. The cabinet is fixed on mounting frames and is connected to the base concrete by anchors. When horizontal excitation is applied to the cabinet, the mounting frames at anchors are locally deformed, the mounting frames are bent, and then rocking in the cabinet becomes evident. A method to determine equivalent vertical spring stiffness representing the local deformation of the mounting frames at anchors is then proposed. Subsequently, the rocking stiffness of this mounting frame is calculated upon assumption of the mounting frame as an indeterminate beam.
The improvement of cooling efficiency for the cabinet of automatic controller is the most efficient method of it's application. Therefore, this study has been analyzed and investigated the improvement of cooling efficiency and reduction of energy for the cabinet of automatic controller, respectively. So this study was conducted to enhancement of cooling efficiency for the cabinet of automatic controller by making a structure which produces difference of air pressures in the entrance tube of external air. And the structure has capacity of the pyrogen source (PTC elements) to make temperature range from $145^{\circ}C$ to $155^{\circ}C$. Consequently, temperatures of the upper, the lower in the interior of the cabinet of automatic controller and the exhaust part were revealed $28.57^{\circ}C$, $23.38^{\circ}C$and $36.14^{\circ}C$(average temperature of the exhaust part in case of existing method : $45^{\circ}C$) in target test of this study, respectively. It was found that the cabinet of the automatic controller has better cooling ability than the cabinet of automatic controller by using an existing method.

Safety-related equipments of nuclear power plant must be seismically qualified to demonstrate their ability to function as required during and/or after the earthquake, The seismic qualification is usually achieved through analysis and testing. Analysis method is preferably adopted for structurally simple equipments which are easy to be mathematically modeled. However even for relatively complex equipments analysis method is occasionally used for computing the input motion or supporting information for the component test followed. Electrical cabinet is a typical example for which analysis method is combinedly used with test to get modal properties of the enclosing cabinet structure. Usually the structural elements and doors of the cabinet are loosely interconnected with small-size bolts or spot welding. Therefore cabinet-type equipment usually has high and complex nonlinear properties which are not easily idealized by simple practical modeling techniques. in this paper with respect to a typical cabinet-type structure(instrumentation cabinet of nuclear power plant) a comparative study has been performed between three different state-of-the -art modeling techniques: lumped mass model frame model and FEM modal. Form the study results it has been found that modal properties of the cabinet-type structure in the elastic behavior range can be reasonably computed through any type of modeling techniques in the practice with slight modification of model properties to get better accuracy. However it needs additional modeling techniques to get reasonable results up to nonlinear range.
Numerical modeling for the safety-related equipment used in a nuclear power plant (i.e., cabinet facilities) plays an essential role in seismic risk assessment. A full finite element model is often time-consuming for nonlinear time history analysis due to its computational modeling complexity. Thus, this study aims to generate a simplified model that can capture the nonlinear behavior of the electrical cabinet. Accordingly, the distributed plasticity approach was utilized to examine the stiffness-degradation effect caused by the local buckling of the structure. The inherent dynamic characteristics of the numerical model were validated against the experimental test. The outcomes indicate that the proposed model can adequately represent the significant behavior of the structure, and it is preferred in practice to perform the nonlinear analysis of the cabinet. Further investigations were carried out to evaluate the seismic behavior of the cabinet under the influence of the constitutive law of material models. Three available models in OpenSees (i.e., linear, bilinear, and Giuffre-Menegotto-Pinto (GMP) model) were considered to provide an enhanced understating of the seismic responses of the cabinet. It was found that the material nonlinearity, which is the function of its smoothness, is the most effective parameter for the structural analysis of the cabinet. Also, it showed that implementing nonlinear models reduces the seismic response of the cabinet considerably in comparison with the linear model.
