[ $PM_{10},\;PM_{2.5},\;CO_2\;and\;CO$ ] in driver cabins of subway line from 5 to 8 were monitored from 07:00 through 21:00 (or 19:30 or 20:00) on May. Driver cabin of subway line 7 showed the highest $PM_{10},\;PM_{2.5},\;CO_2\;and\;CO$ concentrations. General Linear Model indicated that subway line, subway location (ground and underground track) and running time (morning and afternoon) significantly influenced the concentrations of $PM_{10},\;PM_{2.5},\;CO_2\;and\;CO$ (p=0.000). Daily profile of $PM_{10},\;PM_{2.5},\;CO_2\;and\;CO$, expressed as an 30 minutes average, showed similar variation pattern over day period. These concentrations showed the highest concentrations between 07:00 and 09:00 of rush hour, slightly dropped and again rose slightly after 18:00. In correlation analysis, significant relations among $PM_{10},\;PM_{2.5},\;CO_2\;and\;CO$ were detected (p<0.01). In particular, correlation coefficient between $PM_{10}\;and\;PM_{2.5}$ was highly significant (r=0.884). Regression analysis also concluded that $PM_{10}$ concentration significantly explained 71.4% of variation of $PM_{2.5}$ concentration (p=0.000, $R^2=0.714$). Correlations by CO with $PM_{10}\;and\;PM_{2.5}$ were 0.451 and 0.520, which were higher than those by $CO_2$. Further study is needed to examine the sources of $PM_{2.5}$ and CO in subway and to compare pollutants concentration among subway lines.
There has been a rapid increase of the concern on the space radiation effect on pilots, crew and passengers at the commercial aircraft altitude (~ 10 km) recently. It is because domestic airline companies, Korean Air and Asiana Airlines have just begun operating the polar routes over the North Pole since 2006 and 2009 respectively. CARI-6 and CARI-6M are commonly used space radiation estimation programs which are provided officially by the U.S. federal aviation administration (FAA). In this paper, the route doses and the annual radiation doses for Korean pilots and cabin crew were estimated by using CARI-6M based on 2012 flight records. Also the modeling concept was developed for our own space radiation estimation program which is composed of GEANT4 and NRLMSIS00 models. The GEANT4 model is used to trace the incident particle transports in the atmosphere and the NRLMSIS00 model is used to get the background atmospheric densities of various neutral atoms at the aircraft altitude. Also presented are the results of simple integration tests of those models and the plan to include the space weather variations through the solar proton event (SPE) prediction model such as UMASEP and the galactic cosmic ray (GCR) prediction model such as Badhwar-O'Neill 2010.
In this study, specific review for the recent trend both in technical parts and the contents of IFE will be revealed. At the same time, how the passenger's satisfaction on IFE will lead to make an intention of repurchase and create the transmission of positive feed backs on the concerned airline has been thoroughly studied. In order to do the above, 250 air traveling passengers has participated the survey and 235 survey forms has been analyzed by Multiple Regression Analysis. According to the analysis, the physical environmental Improvement in aircraft system helps to Increase the satisfaction degree on IFE. The convenience is revealed as the most effective factor in the satisfaction degree on IFE while the atmosphere and design is regarded as the similarly Important factor. The contents of IFE are obviously affecting the satisfaction degree in positive side. Consequently, the customers' satisfaction on IFE positively affects to the repurchase intention especially to the transmission of the feed back.

Although most electricity production contributes to air pollution, the vehicle organizations and environmental agency categorizes all EVs as zero-emission vehicles because they produce no direct exhaust or emissions. Currently available EVs have a shorter range per charge than most conventional vehicles have per tank of gas. EVs manufacturers typically target a range of 160 km over on a fully charged battery. The energy efficiency and driving range of EVs varies substantially based on driving conditions and driving habits. Extreme outside temperatures tend to reduce range, because more energy must be used to heat or cool the cabin. High driving speeds reduce range because of the energy required to overcome increased drag. Compared with gradual acceleration, rapid acceleration reduces range. Additional devices significant inclines also reduces range. Based on these driving modes and climate conditions, this paper discusses the performance characteristics of EVs on energy efficiency and driving range. Test vehicles were divided by low / high-speed EVs. The difference of test vehicles are on the vehicle speed and size. Low-speed EVs is a denomination for battery EVs that are legally limited to roads with posted speed limits as high as 72 km/h depending on the particular laws, usually are built to have a top speed of 60 km/h, and have a maximum loaded weight of 1,400 kg. Each vehicle test was performed according to the driving modes and test temperature ($-25^{\circ}C{\sim}35^{\circ}C$). It has a great influence on fuel efficiency amd driving distance according to test temperature conditions.

This experimental study presents the results of the cooling performance test of a $CO_2$ heat pump system for fuel cell vehicles. The experimental facility provides the cool ing and heating environment for cabin and heat releasing component. The test loop is designed to target the cooling capacity of 5kW and its coefficient of performance (COP) of 2.2. The cooling performance of the heat pump system is strongly dependent on the refrigerant charge and the degree of superheat. We carried out basic experiments to obtain optimum refrigerant charge and the degree of superheat level at the internal heat exchanger outlet. The heat pump system for fuel cell vehicles is different from that of engine-driven vehicles, where the former has an electricity-driven compressor and the latter has the belt-driven (engine-driven) compressor. In the fuel cell vehicle, the compressor speed is an independent operating parameter and it is controlled to meet the cooling/heating loads. Experiments were carried out at cooling mode with respect to the compressor speed and the incoming outdoor air speed. The results obtained in this study can provide the fundamental cool ing performance data using the $CO_2$ heat pump system for fuel cell vehicles.

Purpose: As communicable disease, COVID-19, pandemic strikes over the world, it is critically bewared that air travel possibly be a major pass way to deliver the infectious disease virus. Especially the airplane could be an unique environment to cultivate the virus spreaders. In order to keep the continuous safe airway as well as the industry, related international associations and organizations have been published the guidelines for the prevention and control the infectious disease through the all aspects of aviation. By reviewing the guidelines, focusing on the in-flight infection prevention and control, this study would not only inform a summary of the international guidelines but also provide an essential and general consideration for related research or guideline study. Methods: Guidelines of 5 major countries are reviewed, which has been seriously influenced by COVID-19 : U.S., Canada, E.U., Australia and China. The items of the guidelines are re-categorized as its similarity and structure by applicable cases. Results: The result of this study shows that each guideline seems to share a major structure and issue such as identifying sick traveler, sick passenger care, and cleaning even though that of China has a different since it used to consider the flight conditions based on 3 levels of infection risk. For sick passenger care, the guidelines includes crew safety, service level, sick passenger isolation, and cleaning. Implications: A published guideline as a public manual could be to prevent and control the in-flight infection efficiently and promptly. It also could provide a confidence of knowledge and educate for all users to prepare the in-flight emergency as well.

This paper is focused on the research of environmental and human factors for a design of PMVbased air conditioning system in the ship. In the results from environmental factor research, it is possible to dissatisfy thermally in the wheel house and communication room of 25 ton and engine room of 100 ton. The clothing and activity in the ship is modified using inland indoor characteristics. Thermal resistance of clothing may be more sensitive to PMV(predicted mean vote) than metabolic rate because of large deviation among maritime polices. The distribution of human factor is right long-tailed than standard normal distribution.

This study intends to present a direction for the better reforming of fishers'onboard living conditions and proposals for preparing for ratification of the Work in Fishing Convention by means of making a comparison between standards on recent national fishing vessel accommodation facilities and standards on the Work in Fishing Convention and Its Recommendation, 2007, ILO. For the most part of standards on national fishing vessel accommodation facilities are somewhat insufficient to satisfy the provisions in Annex III of the Convention. Considering by items on fishing vessel accommodation facilities, the standards on insect protector, noise and vibration, heating and air conditioning, lighting, persons per sleeping room, recreational facility are not provided in national law. Headroom, separation of accommodation, sleeping room floor area, mattress size, mess room, galley and food storage are partially sufficient for the Convention. In case of sanitary facilities, national standards are not sufficient for the Convention. The other side, facilities related safety of ship and crew such as emergency escape etc., are fully sufficient for the Convention. These insufficiencies caused by different types of fishing vessel depend on originality of fishing method and practices. In the comparison between equivalent tonnage about vessel's length on convention and calculated tonnage of national existing fishing vessel, the difference are 226tons about length 24m and 501tons about length 45m. For that reason, headroom, persons per sleeping room, cabin of sicker and injured, sanitary facilities may decide to use gross tonnage in place of length (L) and the alleviating measure basis of convention. But in case of standards on sanitary facilities which are unsufficient for the Convention, specially in coastal fishing vessel length basis should be adopted with alleviating basis for less than length 24m.
Auto exhausts and air pollution can become trapped in the cabin of vehicle, reducing the amount of oxygen available for breathing. Driver may feel sleepy, headaches, nausea, confusion, dizziness and lower levels of oxygen can damage the driver's general health. Consequently, oxygen generator purified oxygen into the car to help driver get the oxygen driver's body needs. In this study, in order to evaluate the oxygen generator performance, the samples that the various conditions(humidity(50%, 100%), flow and oxygen concentration) were examined. There were three types of oxygen generator; sample 1($2.5{\ell}/min$, $36%O_2$), sample 2($4.5{\ell}/min$, $41%O_2$) and sample 3($5{\ell}/min$, $39%O_2$). As the humidity increased from 50% to 100%, the oxygen concentration of the sample 1(36%), 2(41%) and 3(39%) was reduced $31%O_2$, $38%O_2$ and $38%O_2$, respectively. Also, the each sample measured that effect of human in car on oxygen concentration, if the oxygen concentration is one person in car, each sample of oxygen concentration was $20.8%O_2$, $23.7%O_2$ and $21.2%O_2$. From the above results, it was shown that oxygen generator for car, if the oxygen concentration is increased, effect of humidity is reduced, and that in the sample of supplying a high-rate of oxygen, the oxygen concentration is increased. It was suggested that effect of humidity on oxygen generator for car can be reduced according to the supply of oxygen.
In this study, an analysis method for maglev train-guideway interaction is verified using field measurement data. The cabin and bogies of the maglev train are modeled as rigid bodies that are allowed to have heave and pitch motions. Levitation forces from the electromagnetic suspensions on the bogies are controlled using an active control algorithm. The guideway is represented using the Euler-Bernoulli beam. Considering rigorously the changes in air-gaps and material points at which the levitation forces are applied due to the pitch motions of the bogies, dynamic analysis of maglev train-guideway interaction is performed. Using field measurement data, obtained from the Incheon Airport Maglev Railway, the analysis method is verified. Accuracy of the analysis method is investigated. It is determined that the structures in the railway are designed and constructed safely according to the design code for maglev railways.
