In this paper, we propose the flexible design architecture for a continuous packet connectivity (CPC) Protocol among additional features of 3GPP HSPA+. In order to meet a practical intellectual property (IP) reuse and the developing time reduction design goals, we utterly take a CPC protocol into account to be realized by reusing digital signal processor (DSP) IP of the proven high speed packet access (HSPA) platform with the minimum hardware modification and addition. Based on the Teak series DSP, the proposed CPC protocol is divided into discontinuous transmit and receive mode, CPC manager, and interface with the proven HSPA platform. According to the regularized verification flow for wireless cellular communication applications, the proposed CPC protocol has been verified in various test scenarios.
In offline environment, unlike traditional advertising model through TV, newspaper, and radio, online advertising model draws instantaneous responses from potential consumers and it is convenient to assess. This kind of characteristics of Internet advertising model has driven the growth of advertising model among various Internet business models. There are, conventionally classified, CPM (Cost Per Mile), CPC (Cost Per Click), and CPS (Cost Per Sales) models as Internet advertising expenditure model. These can be examined in manners regarding risks that stakeholders should stand and degree of responsibility. CPM model that is based on number of advertisement exposure is mechanically exposed to users but not actually recognized by users resulting in risk of wasted expenditure by advertisers without any advertising effect. While on aspect of media, CPS model that is based on conversion action is the most risky model because of the conversion action such as product purchase is determined by capability of advertisers not that of media. In this regard, while there are issue of CPM and CPS models disadvantageously affecting only one side of Internet advertising business model value network, CPC model has been evaluated as reasonable both to advertisers and media, and occupied the largest segment of Internet advertising market. However, CPC model also can cause fraudulent behavior such as click fraud because of the competition or dishonest amount of advertising expenditure. On the user aspect, unintentionally accessed advertisements can lead to more inappropriate expenditure from advertisers. In this paper, we suggest "CPCD"(Cost Per Coupon Download) model. This goes beyond simple clicking of advertisements and advertising expenditure is exerted when users download a coupon from advertisers, which is a concept in between CPC and CPS models. To achieve the purpose, we describe the scenario of advertiser perspective, processes, participants and their benefits of CPCD model. Especially, we suggest the new value in online coupon; "possibility of storage" and "complement for delivery to the target group". We also analyze the working condition for advertiser by a comparison of CPC and CPCD models through advertising expenditure simulation. The result of simulation implies that the CPCD model suits more properly to advertisers with medium-low price products rather than that of high priced goods. This denotes that since most of advertisers in CPC model are dealing with medium-low priced products, the result is very interesting. At last, we contemplate applicability of CPCD model in ubiquitous environment.

Determination of several cationic surfactants in cosmetics has been investigated. Reverse phase ion pair chromatography was used to identify and quantitate cationic surfactants. Cationic surfactants analyzed in this experiment were cetylpyridium chloride, stearyltrimetylammonium chloride, bezalkonium chloride, benzyldicethylcetylammonium chloride, and bihenyltrimethyl ammonium chloride. The separation was achieved on a reverse phase coumn with 10mM HCl-acetonitrile eluent. In this condition, the most of cationic surfactants with exception of CPC and CTAC respectively with suppressed conductivity detector and UV detector connected in series. The calibration curves obtained by plotting the peak areas of the cationic surfactants were linear at levels ranging from 0.005 to 0.1% correlation coefficient, r=0.9988. The detection limits were 1 to 5ppm in sample solution. The average recoveries of cationic surfactants added to hair treatment cream and hair rinse in three to five experiments were 96.7 105.2% and relative standard deviations were 1.1-3.8%. The case that there were CPC and CTAC in same solution was also tested. CPC and CTAC which couldn't be separated on reverse phase column were quantitated with suppressed conductivity detector and UV detector connected in series. Recovery of CPC and CTAC were 101.6 and 89.2% respectively. The proposed method was applied to the determination of cationic surfactants in commercial hair treatment cream.

With the original Transmission Control Protocol(TCP) design, which is particularly targeted at the wired networks, a packet loss is assumed to be caused by the network congestion. In the wireless environment where the chances to lose packets due to transmission bit errors are not negligible, though, this assumption may result in unnecessary TCP performance degradation. In these days, many papers describe about wireless-TCP which has suggested how to avoid congestion control when packet loss over the wireless network. In this paper, an enhancement scheme is proposed by modifying SNOOP scheme. To enhance the original SNOOP scheme, CPC(Consecutive Packet Control) and ZWSC(Zero Window Size Control) are added. The invocation of congestion control mechanism is now minimized by knowing the cause of packet loss. We use simulation to compare the overhead and the performance of the proposed schemes, and to show that the proposed schemes improve the TCP performance compares to SNOOP by knowing the cause of packet loss at the base station.
An immobilized Trigonopsis variabilis cells having an high activity of D-amino acid oxidase(DAO) was used to convert CPC into GL-7-ACA. The optimal pH of the reaction system was 8.0-8.5, and the optimal temperature was 40$\circ$C. When immobilized cell was used repeatedly in semi-batchwise reaction, the system retained 80% of the initial activity after used of 12 times for over 12 hours. The storage stability of the immobilized cell was maintained for 30 days at 4$\circ$C. The CPC concentration for the maximal reaction rate was about 30 mM and 40 mM for free and immobilized cells, respectively. Substrate inhibition of CPC concentration more than 50 mM was overcomed by 20~25% by immobilization. Pure oxygen supply into reaction system was most efficient in D-amino acid oxidase reaction. Continuous conversion to GL-7-ACA from CPC has been developed with an bioreactor system containing immobilized T variabilis cells. By opera- tion of the reactor for 5 hours, the average conversion yield of >80% and GL-7-ACA production of 40~45 mM per hour could be obtained.

The purpose of this paper is to give information on e-CPC implementation in the manufacturing industry by studying and analyzing a small and medium sized manufacturing company. After analyzing Various factors on J's e-CPC implementation such as environmental factors, process management factor, and result factors, success factors on J's e-CPC implementation are analyzed. The results of this paper can be summarized as follows. First, the most leading role on J's ERP implementation is the will and support of CEO and team leaders. They led the implementation to be stability successfully by settling the different opinions among teams, showing their ability on process decision and communication with consultants. Second, J tried to prompt system stability by mapping out and conducting the long term change management strategy. Third, J organized ERP project team to implement ERP quickly, and it turned out to be successful Finally, J tried to get outside information from consultants and collaborative companies that have experience in implementing ERP. Especially J made full use of overseas consultants. In respect that this paper giver lots of information on e-CPC implementation in manufacturing industry by a case study of a small and medium sized manufacturing company which has not been carried out so far, it would be useful enough.
Particle number portable emission measurement system (PN-PEMS) is an instrument for measuring number concentration of automobile exhaust. The principle of some pre-existing commercial PN-PEMS is to charge particles and display the number of particles by measuring current. However, this method has some problems for measuring exhaust. In this study, to solve these issues, we have developed a single particle counting PN-PEMS based condensation particle counter (CPC). The PN-PEMS based CPC does not affect driving conditions and it is convenient for mobile because the instrument is small and light in structure. We evaluated counting efficiency of PN-PEMS based CPC by using electrostatic method (electrometer and Faraday cup).

Purpose: Calcium phosphate cement (CPC) is one of many useful materials for restoring tooth defects, periodontium and maxillofacial area. Chitosan is a biodegradable material that has been shown to promote the growth and differentiation of osteoblasts in culture. This study examined the interaction between odontoblasts and bio-calcium phosphate cement reinforced with chitosan. Materials and Methods: $5{\times}10^3$ odontoblastic cells were seeded into each well. Various concentrations of bio-calcium phosphate cement reinforced with chitosan (10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 ${\mu}g$/ml, 1, 2, 4 mg/ml) were diluted and added to the wells. The well was incubated for 24 h, 48 h and 72 h. After incubation, the number of cells was assessed to determine the cell viability. A cytokinesis-block micronucleus assay and chromosomal aberration test were carried out to estimate the extent of chromosomal abnormalities. Microscopic photographs and RT-PCR were performed to examine the adhesion potential of bio-calcium phosphate cement reinforced with chitosan. Results: Bio-CPC-reinforced chitosan did not show significant cytotoxicity. The number of damaged chromosomes in the cells treated with Bio-CPC-reinforced chitosan was similar to that in the control cells. There was no significant increase in the number of chromosomal aberrations in the Bio-CPC reinforced chitosan exposed cells. Microscopic photographs and RT-PCR confirmed the adhesive potential of bio-CPC reinforced chitosan to odontoblasts. Conclusion: Bio-CPC-reinforced chitosan did not affect the odontoblastic cell viability, and had no significant cytotoxic effect. Bio-CPC-reinforced chitosan showed adhesive potential to odontoblasts. These results are expected form the basis of future studies on the effectiveness of dental restorative materials in Bio-CPC reinforced with chitosan.

Static compound parabolic collectors (CPCs) have advantages such as ease for fabrication and lower cost compared with other concentrating collectors. In this study, thermal performance analysis of CPC employing heat storage tank was carried out. The clearness index and capacity of heat storage tank are taken as the main parameters for numerical simulation. The effects of the parameters on the hourly and daily system performances ncluding the useful energy, heat loss, and collector efficiency were numerically investigated. Results showed that the system has a potential for efficient recovery of solar thermal energy.
Despite of the increasing importance of environmental mycobacteria, detection and identification of mycobacteria from environmental sources including water have been fraught with technical difficulties. Although, several protocols to optiruize isolation of mycobacteria from water sources have been reported, standard method has not yet been established. In this study, usefulness of cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC), a cationic quaternary ammonium compound, for the isolation of environmental mycobacteria from diverse water samples was evaluated. For this, water samples from diverse water sources such as effluent water, lake water, and underground water were collected, treated with diverse concentrations of CPC, and plated on the solid agar plates. Subsequently individual colonies grown on the plates were sequence analyzed for identification of each colony. In brief, the results from this study showed that the growth of mycobacteria was enhanced by use of CPC as a pre-treatment reagent to water samples by inhibiting growth of other non-mycobacteria in water. In fact, the effect of CPC to decontaminate non-mycobacteria for isolation of mycobacteria was better than 1~4% of NaOH, which is a routinely used decontaminating reagent widely employed for culturing mycobactera from sputum specimens. Therefore, the results from this study seems to support that the CPC pre-treatment may be useful for isolation of mycobacteria from diverse sources including clinical specimens which are often contaminated with other bacteria.
