The purpose of this study is to examine the current status of user-contributed reviews for the Next Generation Library Catalogs, and the potential impact of user reviews available from the external sources, including Amazon.com and GoodReads.com. During the period of February 16th through April 4th, 2012, the number of holding libraries and user-contributed reviews, tags and reading lists of ten selected books were examined from the WorldCat. Also the user-contributed reviews for the same books available from Amazon.com and GoodReads.com were examined, and a case of reviews for one book was analyzed. The result shows that only a few users participated in the WorldCat, and user-contributed reviews were rarely used, when compared with tags or reading lists. Several hundred to thousand user-contributed reviews for the same books were available from Amazon.com and GoodReads.com directly linked with bibliographic records. A case of one book from Amazon.com reveals the possibility of distorting the function of user-contribution. With the introduction of the function of user-contribution, it is expected that its growth rate should be carefully observed and its potential impact on users should be thoroughly and systematically analyzed in the near future.

컴퓨터의 발달로 산업현장은 많은 부분이 자동화되고 있다. 자동화를 위해서 고려되어야 할 사항 중 하나가 입출력 디바이스 제어이다. 산업현장을 자동화하기 위해서 관련 프로그램 등이 필요하지만 이들 프로그램과 입출력 디바이스는 매우 종속적이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 COM을 이용하여 입출력 디바이스를 제어하고자 한다. 입출력 작업에 사용되는 범용 디바이스와 이를 컨트롤 할 수 있는 디바이스 드라이버를 개발하고, COM을 이용한 공장 자동화 프로그램을 개발하여 일반 사용자가 쉽게 그 기능을 사용할 뿐만 아니라 이들 프로그램을 재사용 할 수 있게 하였다.

This study was conducted to investigate the flora of Mt. Jang located at Haeundae-Gu in Busan. The survey for the flora was carried out from Oct. 2008 to Sep. 2009. The results were obtained as follows. The flora consists of 5 forms, 22 varieties, 238 species, 198 genera, 91 families, 47 orders, 7 classes, and 3 divisions as total 265 taxa. The typical communities were Osmunda japonica com., Stephanandra incisa com., Gleichenia japonica com., Eurya japonica-Pinus thunbergii com., Styrax japonica-Pinus thunbergii com., and Smilax china com. which were distributed along Forest Bathing Area and Yangun Falls, Miscanthus sinensis for. purpurascens com., Carpinus turczaibovii var. coreana com and Pseudosasa japonica were distributed around the top of mountain. According to the ecological characteristic species, the evergreen plants were observed 15 taxa 14 genera 13 families, the naturalized plants 18 taxa 17 genera 10 families, the specific plants categorized by Ministry of Environment 20 taxa 18 genera 18 families, the endangered plant 1 specie Utricularia yakusimensis, and the cultivated plants were observed 21 taxa 18 genera 14 families.

Component users must customize components they obtain from providers, in order to fit them to their own purposes. Normally, a component consists of black-box parts and white-box parts. Component users customize a component by modifying white-box parts of a component, and the customization faults appear through the interaction between black-box parts and white-box parts. Customization testing could be an integration testing of these two parts of a component. Also, customization testing in CBSD should select effective test data to reduce the testing cost, since CBSD aims to reduce the development cost. Therefore, this paper proposes a customization testing technique based on COM architecture through analyzing many COM components, and the technique selects effective test data. This paper evaluates the effectiveness of the test data selected by the proposed technique through an empirical study. It applies the techlique to a large-scale component-based system, Chamois, and it shows that the technique enables us to test customized COM components that run in a real component-based system

The pot experiment was conducted to compare the effects of BIO-COM (Organic fertilizer made from industrial by-product) with the compost and humic acid on the physico-chemical properties of soils and the yield of paddy rice (CV. Chucheong-byeo). The results obtained were as follows: 1. All the fertilizer treatments, except humic acid, increased rice yield compare to no fertilizer treatment, and Bio-Com was the highest among the fertilizer treatments. 2. Rice yields were increased with increasing BIO-COM only up to 4% but 2% with N.P.K. fertilizers. 3. Rice yield showed highly positive correlation with number of panicle per hill but negative correlation with 1000 grain weight. 4. BIO-COM application induced the noticeable increase of pH, EC, OM, T-N, Av-P, Ex-Ca, Ex-Mg, Ex-Na, and $Av-SiO_2$, contents in the soils after experiments, and there were highly significant positive correlation among them. 5. BIO-COM application was positively affected on plant height, number of tiller, and fresh weight and dry weight of rice plant throughout entire growing stages and these are positively correlated with rice yield. 6. BIO-COM application also induced the increase of chlorophyll, N, P, Ca, and Mg contents in rice plant 7. It is revealed that there were highly positive correlations between rice yields and pH, EC, OM, T-N, Ex-Ca, and Ex-Mg in the soils. 8. It was also shown the highly significant positive correlations between rice yields, and N and P contents in the rice plant at heading stages, respectively.

Hairy vetch (Vicia villosa Roth) winter annual is very effective on reducing chemical nitrogen fertilizer for subsequent com by fixed organic green manure nitrogen fixed during hairy vetch growth. In this experiment, hairy vetch produced above-ground dry matter of 5 ton/ha, nitrogen yield 200 kgN/ha, at com planting on the average during 1997 and 1998. Changes in com yield and nitrogen uptake for two years were investigated after application of nitrogen fertilizer 0, 60, 120, 180, 240 kgN/ha on plot of winter fallow and hairy vetch green manure, respectively. Nitrogen status such as ear-leaf N%, SPAD value at silk and dough stage, and com yield decreased in proportion to reduction of nitrogen fertilizer at winter fallow, but nitrogen status and yield of com were not different among nitrogen fertilizer rate at hairy vetch green manure. Com yield (total dry matter) at 0 kgN/ha plot of hairy vetch was 22, 20 ton/ha in 1997, 1998, respectively and com could produce more dry matter 9, 13 ton/ha by hairy vetch green manure compared with winter fallow under the condition of no nitrogen fertilizer in 1997, 1998, respectively. Com yield (total dry matter) at 60kgN/ha of hairy vetch green manure was higher than that of high N fertilizer rate such as 180, 240 kgN/ha of winter fallow. Nitrogen uptake of com at plot of hairy vetch-no nitrogen fertilizer slightly decreased than at plot of hairy vetch - nitrogen fertilizer, but com absorbed more nitrogen of 141, 159 kgN/ha by hairy vetch green manure compared with winter fallow under no nitrogen fertilizer condition in 1997, 1998, respectively. Nitrogen fertilizer reduction for com by hairy vetch green manure was 149, 161kgN/ha in 1997, 1998, respectively. Still more, com could absorb more soil nitrogen by nitrogen fertilizer 60kgN/ha of hairy vetch green manure than by high nitrogen fertilizer such as 180, 240 kgN/ha at winter fallow. It is concluded that nitrogen fertilizer for corn could be reduced by winter cultivation and soil incorporation of hairy vetch at com planting.

본 논문에서는 데이터베이스 인터페이스 설계가 COM(Component Object Model)으로 구현하는 것이 가능한지를 실험적으로 설계하고 구현하였다. 본 객체지향 코드 설계는 캡슐화, 상속성, 다형성 측면에서 설계자 및 사용자에게 많은 장점을 제공한다는 측면에서 널리 적용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 COM을 이용하여 기존의 데이터베이스를 접근, 제어 할 수 있음을 보인다. 본 논문은 기존 데이터베이스로서 MS Access(DB)를 대상으로 하되 MS Access가 제공하는 최종사용자 기능을 무시하고 새로운 프로그램(COM)을 설계하여 기존사용방법과 같은 효과와 기능을 발휘할 수 있도록 한다. 프로그램의 설계는 크게 서버와 클라이언트로 나눈다.[10] 실험적 개발의 결과를 볼 때 DB엔진 설계 시 COM으로서의 설계에 활용 할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 한편 클라이언트는 다양한 언어로 설계가 가능하기 때문에 다양한 사용자, 다양한 접속 요구에 쉽게 적용할 수 있다.

본 연구에서는 경첩 발목 보조기(Hinged Ankle Foot Orthoses, HAFO)의 착용이 경직성 뇌성마비 아동의 보행 시 신체 질량 중심점(Center of Mass, COM)에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 한다. 실험은 보조 기구의 사용 없이 독립적인 보행이 가능한 경직성 뇌성마비 아동(하지마비 아동 8명, 편마비 아동 5명) 13명이 참여하였다. 34개의 적외선 반사 마커를 신체에 직접 부착한 뒤, 6대의 동작분석 카메라로 맨발 보행과 HAFO착용 보행을 각 5회 촬영하였다. 전-후방, 내-외측, 수직 방향으로의 COM의 이동과 COM 속도를 계산하여 HAFO착용 전 후를 대응표본 T검정으로 분석하였다. HAFO 착용은 양하지 마비 아동 그룹은 COM의 전방 이동이 유의하게 증가하였고(p<0.01), COM 속도는 내-외측과 수직 방향에서 유의하게 증가하였다(p<0.01). 반면 편마비 아동 그룹은 COM 이동과 속도가 모든 방향에서 유의하게 증가하였다(p<0.01). 따라서 HAFO는 뇌성마비 아동의 보행 기능을 개선시킨다고 할 수 있다.

In this paper, we implement Microsoft COM software modules for elliptic curve cryptographic applications and analyze its performance. The implemented COM software modules support all elliptic curve key exchange protocols and elliptic curve digital signature algorithm in IEEE 1363 finite fields GF(p) and GF(2m). Since the implemented software modules intend to focus on a component-based software development method, and thus it have a higher productivity and take systematic characteristics to be open outward and to be standardized. Accordingly, it enable a software to be developed easier and faster rather than a method using C library. In addition it support the Microsoft COM interface, we can easily implement secure software applications based on elliptic curve cryptographic algorithms.
