The purpose of this research is to investigate the tendency of color preference for the elderly in housing. For this, a questionnaire survey was carried out with color chips and 9 photos of the living rooms which were chosen among apartment model houses in Pusan. Preference of color usage was measured by SD scale developed by advertising adjectives for the model houses. The result of this study are as follows: 1) The preferred color image was characterized as soft, warm and simple. The main factors of color image were identified and named as 'dignity factor' and 'personality factor'. 2) The elderly preferred G generally, but R for dominant color of the living room. They distinguished their attitudes about the color by the purpose of color usage. 3) For colors of architectural components of the living room, preferred colors were narrowed Y, YR and R for wall, art wall and floor. Beige was the most popular color in the living room for the elderly. This research can contribute to the basic data of color planning for the elderly housing.

Nano Inkjet DTP technology, a new technology introduced recently, can be applied to various types of fabric, and pre-treatment process can be omitted, which makes the whole printing process compact. Some important factors for DTP are color difference between the color selected by the designer on PC and the color on the final product and durability of the final fabrics. In this study, the twenty-three trend colors of 2012-2013 F/W suggested by PeclersParis have been picked to be printed on cotton, silk and polyester fabrics, then K/S and ${\Delta}E$ value and color fastness were measured. The results show that dyeability of fabric is varied for each color group, and that also tone of color affect to dyeability when measured for colors in the same group. In general, for all fabric, light fastness, washing fastness and color fastness to sublimation are outstanding. However, because of poor rubbing fastness, additional treatment to fix colorant on fabric is required.

Beijing as one of the prosperous cities has been attracting more and more to the people in China and overseas because of the coming Olympic Games. And the housing enterprises have become extremely popular as follows. The request of housing designation has also been increased and a color factor should be the key point of housing designation. This study is a research of perceptual color designation in public residential housing in Beijing. In particular, this study will deal with the color designation development trend of public residential housing in Beijing after an analysis of color designation of high-class residential housing from 2000 to 2007 in Beijing. Color around people is not only understood more rationally and personally in 21 century but also it is pursued to get a brand-newly incentive from tradition. While color could give housing many wonderful looks. Chromatics people have had a deeper acknowledge of color and color function so color has played a key role of housing designation. Color effect on people in physical and physiology aspect is getting more important. The color issue are one of the most effective and efficient factor in the in public residential housing, therefore this study deal with this issue 'How to effectively use the color in public residential housing space.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the visual sensibility of color combination for clothing. The color combination for clothing were divided into three types according to the color coordination. In each type, the stimulus was applied three combination method according to the chromatic color/chromatic color, the chromatic color/achromatic color, the achromatic color/achromatic color. As a result, 42 color combination for clothing were obtained. The survey has been done for the 42 color combination for clothing with 27 semantic differential hi-polar scales. The major findings of this research were as follows. 1. To explain the hierarchy of visual sensibility, two sensibility groups were classified, the first group being cute and bold sensibility and the second group being comfortable and soft sensibility. 2. As result of the factor analysis, 4 factors(attractiveness, cuteness, boldness, softness) were found to be constructing factors for visual sensibility of color combination for clothing. 3. To explain the hierarchy of visual sensibility, two sensibility groups were classified, the first group being cute and bold sensibility and the second group being comfortable and sort sensibility.

The objective of the study is to create color plan for company D based on color images of the Bloomsbury Group paintings, which is an art institute based in Bloomsbury, London, a hometown of the company, to renew the traditional brand image of the company by blending fashion and art. This study analyzed 'D's previous F/W Color planning from 2003 to 2007 through NCS to understand characteristics of company D's color planning. It considered company D's color renewal concept by looking into Bloomsbury Group's backgrounds and pieces. Based on 2008-2009 F/W color trend and the analysis result, the study suggests a color plan with reference to a case study of the company D, for which I work as a colorist. The color renewal of the company D for 2008-2009 F/W season was categorized into theme I. Bloomsbury and theme II. Charleston for planning. The following table summarizes the result of 2008-2009 F/W season color plan with focus on development of new check and print patterns. The significance of the study can be found in that it advanced beyond the color planning stage to be applied to the actual renewal. Through a renewal of an existing brand, a fashion brand can be revitalized to have distinguished competitiveness.

Modern Hanbok tends to use new colors based on traditional colors and their symbolic meanings. In addition to the traditional colors, various expressions have been increased, it is necessary to consider the color and color trend used in modern clothing. This study focused on the period 2011 - 2020 and analyzed the main color and coloring method of top and skirt by year with 450 data from a total of 81 wedding magazines. The results of examining the characteristics of traditional colors during the target period are as follows. First, the main color of the Jeogori showed a distribution of various colors in the first half, but the main color of the skirt concentrated on black, white and light pink in the second half. Second, while the use of blue and green systems decreased, Dang-ui color changed to warm yellow, green, and red systems. The Baeja used plain dark white in the first half; however in the latter half, they changed to white or accented colors. The one-piece used various colors in the first half, but only black and white appeared in the second half. Third, in the upper and lower colors of Hanbok, the blue-red color, the traditional contrast color of the first half, decreased significantly in the second half. The appearance rate of proximity for the complementary color harmony of white-red color and the adjacent color harmony of white-blue increased.

Dunhuang murals are one of the most outstanding achievements in the art of traditional grotto painting in China, and are known as a "Wall Museum". As a representative of the heyday of Dunhuang murals, an in-depth exploration of Dunhuang murals from the perspective of color will help researchers understand the laws and connotations of color in Dunhuang murals during the Tang Dynasty and fully grasp the art of Dunhuang murals. The color system of the traditional Chinese "Five colors" concept expresses the cultural attributes and emotions of the Chinese people and has distinctive national characteristics. This thesis provides a theoretical grasp of the traditional Chinese "Five colors" view of color system, the Dunhuang murals of the Tang Dynasty, and the color configuration of the color composition principles, and uses the modern design principles of color composition to conduct an in-depth analysis of the configuration of the Dunhuang murals' use of color. Explore the unique characteristics of Tang Dynasty Dunhuang murals, and help modern designers master richer color application techniques by learning from and studying the harmonious patterns of Dunhuang murals to provide a new path for the dissemination of excellent Chinese traditional culture.

A study focused on the implication of the blue and black colors in Korean traditional costume is presented. The presented study shows that the blue color in most of literatures regarding Korean traditional costume implies not only green and blue colors, but also dark blue and black colors. In a broad sense, the blue color implies a color category which includes green, indigo, blue, dark blue and black. On the other hand, the color includes blue, dark blue and black in a narrow sense. The rotor black, however, should not be interpreted as blue and dark blue because it has two bypes of black colors with and without reddish tone. Four reasons that the color blue was understood as the color black were discussed in this paper. The fundamental reason was that the blue color looked like black because of dark shadows. Secondly, there was a difference of color awareness between the color blue in Korea and in China. Thirdly, there was a color difference related to the type of textiles. Finally, other substitutes were used because of the lack of blue dyes.

We removed the bluish of the natural ruby successfully by vacuum annealing, and measured the color evolution with annealing time and temperature. We varied the anneal temperature and time $800\~1500^{\circ}C$ and $3\~26$ hrs, respectively. The color evolution of rubies with annealing condition was recorded by a digital camera and a color coordination visible spectrometer. We determined the optimum bluish eliminating annealing condition was $1500^{\circ}C-3hr$, which conserving the natural inclusions. We suggest the bluish shrink with diffusion coefficient of $D=(5\times10^{-3}){\exp}(-200.000/RT)[cm^2/s]$. We propose the color of ruby may be determined as the identical red color if the color difference between two samples are less than 1.0, and the color difference nay be an auxiliary standard to evaluate the color of rubies.

An object color can be seen differently under the various outer illuminants. However, human visual system has color constnacy that the object color can be seen constantly under the different outer illuminants. When the viewer watches TV under specific that the object color can be seen constantly under the different outer illuminants. When the viewer bathes TV under specific outer illuminants, he perceives distortes color due to the emitting specturm of outer illuminants as well as the radiation of CPT itself. Namely, when the outer illuminants such as fluorescent and incandescent lamps incident on CPT, brightness, saturation, hue, itself. Namely, when the outer iluminants such as fluorescent and incandescent lamps incident on CPT, brightness, saturation, hue, and contrast on color pictures are changend, he perceives distortedcolr fromthe original color. In this paper color enhancement algorithm based on light intensity and outer light decision funtion using RGB sensor was proposed. The implemented TV of proposed algorithm has higher visual quality at the view point of human visual system and more vivid than that ofcoventional color TV.
