The International GNSS Service (IGS) has prepared for a transition from the relative phase conte. variation (PCV) to the absolute PCV, because the terrestrial scale problem of the absolute PCV was resolved by estimating the PCV of the GPS satellites. Thus, the GPS data will be processed by using the absolute PCV which will be an IGS standard model in the near future. It is necessary to compare and analyze the results between the relative PCV and the absolute PCV for the establishment of the reliable processing strategy. This research analyzes the effect caused by the absolute PCV via the GPS network data processing. First, the four IGS stations, Daejeon, Suwon, Beijing and Wuhan, are selected to make longer baselines than 1000km, and processed by using the relative PCV and the absolute PCV to examine the effect of the antenna raydome. Beijing and Wuhan stations of which the length of baselines are longer than 1000km show the average difference of 1.33cm in the vertical component, and 2.97cm when the antenna raydomes are considered. Second, the 7 permanent GPS stations among the total 9 stations, operated by Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute, are processed by applying the relative PCV and the absolute PCV, and their results are compared and analyzed. An insignificant effect of the absolute PCV is shown in Korea regional network with the average difference of 0.12cm in the vertical component.
The goal of this research is to suggest a theoretical process-centered assessment model based on Learning Progressions of key competencies in the context of STEAM instructions. The "Process-Products Combined Module-type (P2CM) STEAM Assessment Model (P2CM STEAM Assessment Model, hereafter) can be used both as an instructional model and as an assesment model, applicable for various STEAM topics and instructional types. consists of 3 axes. The first X axis stands for 4C competencies that should be emphasized through STEAM instruction. The second Y axis stands for the types and the hierarchy of STEAM instructions. The third Z axis stands for the assessment standards based on LP. We also exemplified an assessment module combined creativity competency with creativity-based instruction based on . Based on the research results, we suggested elaboration of assessment models based on Korean LP research outcomes, development and supply of formative assessment models through field-based in-depth research, modification of formative assessment models with the participation of teacher communities and in-service teachers, and the necessity of further research on assessment models for tracking LP.
This study aims to develop a spring/fall motorcycle jacket for quick service transporter. Depending on the results of the previous research, this study produced the tested jacket which was improved in material, pattern, and design. For the tested jacket, 100% polyester fabric excellent in strength, durability and abrasion-resistance was selected as a major material, and Cordura was used as a partial material to improve the strength and abrasion-resistance of the sleeve side lines, elbow and shoulder areas. The retro-reflection material was applied partially in order to improve visibility of the jacket in the night or in a dark place. A total of 7 pockets were composed in the jacket for the sufficient storage spaces. The functional design elements such as the 2-way zipper and the placket at the center front, the action pleats at the upper part of back armholes, the pit-zip at armpit were applied. In addition, the sleeve pattern was bent with the shape of elbow curvature in time of driving and the back length of the jacket was lengthened 4cm. As a result of the appearance assessment, there was a significant difference from the existing jacket in all items but chest size, shoulder width, cuffs circumference, and jacket hemline circumference. In motion adaptability and field activity appropriateness assessments, the assessment grade for all items was found to be commonly higher than that of the existing jacket, and thus, the tested jacket was assessed to be suitable for a motorcycle jacket design for the quick service transporters.

Recently, due to applicability increase of vector data based digital map for geographic information and evolution of geographic measurement techniques, large volumed GIS(geographic information service) services having high resolution and large volumed data are flowing actively. This paper proposed an efficient vector map compression technique using the SEC(spatial energy compaction) based on classified bins for the vector map having 1cm detail and hugh range. We encoded polygon and polyline that are the main objects to express geographic information in the vector map. First, we classified 3 types of bins and allocated the number of bits for each bin using adjacencies among the objects. and then about each classified bin, energy compaction and or pre-defined VLC(variable length coding) were performed according to characteristics of classified bins. Finally, for same target map, while a vector simplification algorithm had about 13%, compression ratio in 1m resolution we confirmed our method having more than 80% encoding efficiencies about original vector map in the 1cm resolution. Also it has not only higher compression ratio but also faster computing speed than present SEC based compression algorithm through experimental results. Moreover, our algorithm presented much more high performances about accuracy and computing power than vector approximation algorithm on same data volume sizes.
Canine peripheral nerve sheath tumors (PNSTs) are spindle cell tumors that arise from Schwann cells, perineural cells, fibroblasts or all of them. Based on the morphology and biologic behavior, PNSTs are divided into benign PNST (BPNST) and malignant PNST (MPNST) forms. The aim of this study is to diagnose the two cases of neoplastic tissue samples with features of PNSTs by the histopathology and immunohistochemistry. The study was performed using two specimens from small animal clinic. The first case, A was a mass, 3~4 cm in diameter, extruded from vaginal mucosa of 10-year-old spayed female mixed-breed dog. And the second case, B was a subcutaneous mass, 1.5 cm in diameter, which is originated from right hind leg of 9-year-old castrated male mixed-breed dog. Two cases were stained with hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) for histopathological examination. And also immunohistochemistry (IHC) was performed by the avidin-biotin peroxidase complex (ABC) method with antibodies specific for the following proteins: S-100 protein, smooth muscle actin (SMA) and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). In results, Antoni B schwannoma pattern characterized by pleomorphic, round and fusiform polygonal cells was seen in A. In B, Antoni A pattern, densely packed spindle cells arranged in interlacing bundles was seen in addition to Antoni B pattern. In IHC, cytoplasms of neoplastic cells were diffusely labeled for S-100 expression in A and B. For SMA, both A and B show negative expression. And for EGFR, A shows negative expression but B shows partially positive expression in areas of Antoni B schwannoma pattern. The histopathologic features of two cases coupled with the S-100 immunoreactivity led to a diagnosis of PNST. For SMA, both A and B show negative expression. The diagnosis of A will be a BPNST with the negative result and B will be a MPNST with the positive result for EGFR.
This study describes a canine lymphosarcoma with a rapid proliferation and recurrence. A 4-year-old, male, Shih Tzu dog was examined for acute swelling mass. The mass had been identified since 3 months ago and enlarged $10{\times}7$ cm and located in the right axillary region. The surgical removal was recommended when patient visited veterinarian and the operation was conducted. The removed tumor was $11{\times}8{\times}7$ cm and firm, lobulated and white cut surface. Routine screening laboratory test was assessed with blood and radiological analysis. The metastasis sign was not detected on thoracic and abdominal radiography. Blood test revealed decreased lymphocytes. After surgical removal of the mass, microscopic histopathological examination was performed to determine the final diagnosis. Histopathologically, the tumors are characterized by the same histological features, including the presence of neoplastic cellular populations, and lymphocytes infiltration in varying proportions. Also, DNA was extracted and PCR analysis was employed to analyze the origin of tumor cells. T-cell specific nucleic acid fragments were specifically amplified by PCR. On the basis of the laboratory results, the tumor was diagnosed with canine T-cell lymphosarcoma. On the basis of our knowledge, this is the first report of canine T-cell lymphosarcoma in a Shih Tzu dog.
This study was carried out to assess the effect of the chlorine treatment into water for processing chicken products in each stage of slaughtering, with a special viewpoint related with reducing the viable number of microorganisms by which the water and the chicken body were contaminated. The mean bacterial number on chicken samples after picking process was log5.37$\pm$0.20~5.84$\pm$0.160CFU/$\textrm{cm}^2$. When assessed by standard plate count method, it was the higher one than any other processing stage in which eviscerating, pinning, packaging, and chilling was followed in order of the mean bacterial number. The coliform bacterial numbers on carcasses after sampling from different processing stages were log2.11$\pm$0.63~2.88$\pm$0.25MPN/$\textrm{cm}^2, which show almost similar numbers in each processing stage. But, after chilling process the number was decreased slightly. The bacterial counts in the water for scalding and chilling showed log3.43 $\pm$ 0.59~5.06$\pm$0.21 and log4.30$\pm$0.21~6.62$\pm$0.33CFU/$m\ell$, respectively. In the coliform counts for the water taken out from the 2nd chilling tank, the number was log1.97$\pm$0.35~2.91$\pm$0.22MPN/$m\ell$ which showed higher than those of the 1st and the 3rd chilling tank water. The effect of chlorination in reducing the bacterial numbers was accepted at the residual chlorine concentration of 1$m\ell$/$\ell$by showing the reduction from $10^8$ to $10^4$CFU level and the numbers were decreased less than 10CFU at the concentration of 5mg/$\ell$, when assessed by viable cell counts. In conclusion, these results suggested that chlorination In chilling water with final concentration of 5mg/$\ell$was strongly recommended to reduce the bacterial numbers on final chicken products.
Purpose: This study aimed to identify the position for the most accurate head-up cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) by comparing saddle position CPR (SPCPR) and traditional CPR (TCPR). Methods: Sixty certified persons who completed a basic life support provider course between May 1 and June 21, 2019 were enrolled in the study. The participants were asked to perform 2 minutes of CPR, and the depth of chest compression, rate, position, full release, and hands off time were assessed. Accuracy was evaluated based on data collected from a smart phone application connected to the manikin via bluetooth and analyzed using frequency, percentage, t-test, analysis of variance and ${\chi}^2$. Results: The accuracy of chest compression was statistically significantly higher for SPCPR, 63.03%[${\pm}8.75$] for SPCPR and 55.50%[${\pm}10.17$] for TCPR [t=3.074, p=.003]. The depth of chest compression was statistically significantly greater for SPCPR, 4.51cm[${\pm}0.45$] for SPCPR and 4.16cm[${\pm}0.61$] for TCPR [t=2.503, p=.015]. The rate of chest compression was statistically significantly higher for TCPR, 105/min[${\pm}10.79$] for SPCPR and 111/min[${\pm}11.57$] for TCPR [t=-2.008, p=.049]. Accuracy of position of chest compression was statistically significantly higher for SPCPR, 96.10%[${\pm}13.73$] for SPCPR and 79.93%[${\pm}30.34$] for TCPR [t=2.659, p=.011]. Accuracy of full release was higher with SPCPR, with 86.30%[${\pm}30.53$] for SPCPR and 71.10%[${\pm}36.05$] for TCPR, but the difference was not statistically significant [t=1.762, p=.083]. Conclusion: Saddle position CPR was found to be more accurate than TCPR in the performance of manual head-up CPR.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate the occurrence of microbiological contamination of kitchen utensils and environments of food service operations at university located in Seoul, Korea. Methods: We collected swab samples from the surfaces of knives, chopping boards, floors, and drains, as well as drinking water and airborne bacteria samples from 20 food service operations. Three bacterial indicators and five food poisoning bacteria were measured quantitatively and qualitatively, respectively. We used selective culture media and the PCR assay targeting 16S rRNA gene for the microbiological analysis. Results: We detected bacterial indicators on knives or chopping boards in eight different food service operations and, three food service operations (I, M, and O) showed more than 3 log colony forming units $(CFU)/100cm^2$ on their knives, significantly higher than the others. The levels of bacterial indicators on the floors and drains in the cooking areas were much higher than those on the cooking utensils. S. aureus was detected on 10 floors and 8 drains. Culturable bacteria were identified in 5 drinking water samples, and food service operation B ($431.1CFU/m^3$) and C ($551.2CFU/m^3$) showed more than $400CFU/m^3$ of total airborne bacteria. Conclusions: These results suggest that some of food service operations in this study may require additional investigation to secure the microbial safety of cooking environments. In addition, further actions including hygiene education for employees and proper guidelines to maintain clean cooking environments should be prepared.
The code static eccentricity model for elastic torsional design of structures has two critical shortcomings: (1) the negation of the inertial torsional moment at the center of mass (CM), particularly for torsionally-unbalanced (TU) building structures, and (2) the confusion caused by the discrepancy in the definition of the design eccentricity in codes and the resistance eccentricity commonly used by engineers such as in FEMA454. To overcome these shortcomings, using the resistance eccentricity model that can accommodate the inertial torsional moment at the CM, interactive relations between shear and torsion are proposed as follows: (1) elastic responses of structures at instants of peak edge-frame drifts are given as functions of resistance eccentricity, and (2) elastic hysteretic relationships between shear and torsion in forces and deformations are bounded by ellipsoids constructed using two adjacent dominant modes. Comparison of demands estimated using these two interactive relations with those from shake-table tests of two TU building structures (a 1:5-scale five-story reinforced concrete (RC) building model and a 1:12-scale 17-story RC building model) under the service level earthquake (SLE) show that these relations match experimental results of models reasonably well. Concepts proposed in this study enable engineers to not only visualize the overall picture of torsional behavior including the relationship between shear and torsion with the range of forces and deformations, but also pinpoint easily the information about critical responses of structures such as the maximum edge-frame drifts and the corresponding shear force and torsion moment with the eccentricity.
