The contribution analysis of various external aeroacoustic noise sources to interior noise is important, enabling to design an automobile with a low interior noise level. With a new technique, the CD (Cholesky Decomposition), it is proposed to decompose an overall interior noise spectrum into multiple spectra, each representing the contribution of a specific noise source to the interior noise. In order to validate this method, three kinds of experiments were conducted. Furthermore, it is proposed to improve the CD-based contribution analysis method to be integrated with existing exterior microphone arrays in the wind tunnel. This method was validated with an experiment with two speakers.
To develop an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for nivalenol (NIV), we produced polyclonal antibodies against tetraacetyl nivalenol (Ac4-NIV) and established ELISA conditions. Ac4-NIV-hemisuccinate conjugated to bovine serum albumin (Ac4-NIV-HS-BSA) was immunized with Freund's adjuvants into rabbits subcutaneously several times. By use of the antiserum showing the highest titer and Ac4-NIV-HS-HRP conjugate, we established competitive direct ELISA (cdELISA). Standard curve of cdELISA showed that the detection range of Ac4-NIV was about 10~5,000 ng/ml (ppb). The cross-reactivities of the polyclonal antibody towards Ac4-NIV and acetyl T-2 were 100 and 70% respectively, and those towards NIV, deoxynivalenol, 3-acetyl deoxynivalenol, 15-acetyl deoxynivalenol, triacetyl deoxynivalenol, fusarenonX, and T-2 were less than 0.1%. When cdELISA was applied to NIV-spiked corns followed by extraction with 70% acetonitrile and acetylation with acetic anhydride in pyridine, the recovery rates of the Ac4-NIV were 108, 143, and 70% (average, 107%) in the levels of 100, 300, and 1,000 ng/g (ppb), respectively.

The properties of Fe ions in the $ CdFe_2$$O_4$ and $CdFeAlO_4$ were investigated using the Mossbauer spectroscopy, in the temperature range from 300K to 900K. The calculated Debye temperature, recoil free fraction, mean square displacement and velocity are, 476.5K, 0.835, 3.39$\times$10\ulcorner$\textrm{cm}^2$, and 1.11$\times$10\ulcorner$\textrm{cm}^2$sec$^2$for Fe ions in the $CdFe_2$$O_4$ and 369.0K, 0.741, 5.65$\times$10\ulcorner$\textrm{cm}^2$ and 1.33$\times$10\ulcorner$\textrm{cm}^2$/$sec^2$in the $CeFeAlO_4$. The difference of the properties in the two samples were explained by the variation of the Fe\ulcorner-O\ulcorner bonding length with the substituted Al ions.

In order to improve the efficiency of Cu2-xS-CdS PN junction type solar cell, a method of reducing the series resiatance is considered. In the fabrication of the thin film of Cu2-xS, what has the largest value of conductivity is fabricated at 250 $^{\circ}C$. The thin film of CdS which has beer fabricated at the temperature 250-30$0^{\circ}C$ of the substrate and 800-85$0^{\circ}C$ of evaporating material has the largest value of conductivity and also fairly good photoelectric characteristics. Therefore, the evaporated thin aim type CdS solar cell has been fabricated at the temperature 25$0^{\circ}C$ of the substrate and 800-85$0^{\circ}C$ of the evaporating material, and its efficiency is measured to he 6%.

last few decades. In this study, the lyophilized cells of Pleurotus eryngii (mushroom) were used as an inexpensive biosorbent for Cd(II) and Pb(II) removal from aqueous solutions. The effect of various physicochemical factors on Cd(II) and Pb(II) biosorption such as pH (2.0-7.0), initial metal concentration ($0.0-300mg\;L^{-1}$), temperature, fungal biomass and contact time (0-120 min) were studied. Optimum pH for removal of Cd(II) and Pb(II) was 6.0, and the contact time was 45 min at room temperature. The nature of biosorbent and metal ion interaction was evaluated by Infrared (IR) spectroscopic technique. IR analysis of mushroom biomass revealed the presence of amino, carboxyl, hydroxyl and methyl groups, which are responsible for biosorption of Cd(II) and Pb(II). The maximum adsorption capacities of P. eryngii for Pb(II) and Cd(II) calculated using Langmuir adsorption isotherm were 82.0 and $16.13mg\;g^{-1}$, respectively. The adsorption isotherms for two biosorbed heavy metals were fitted well with Freundlich isotherm as well as Langmuir model with correlation coefficient ($r^2$>0.99). Thus, this study indicated that the P. eryngii is an efficient biosorbent for the removal of Cd(II) and Pb(II) from aqueous solutions.

We have fabricated and evaluated new high efficiency green light emitting phosphorescent devices with an emission layer of $[TCTA_{1/3}TAZ_{2/3}/TAZ]:Ir(ppy)_3$. The whole experimental devices have the basic structure of $2-TNATA(500 {\AA})/NPB(300{\AA})/EML(300{\AA})/BCP(50{\AA})/SFC137(500{\AA})$ between anode and cathode. We have also fabricated conventional phosphorescent devices with emission layers of $(TCTA_{1/3}TAZ_{2/3}):Ir(ppy)_3$ and $(TCTA/TAZ):Ir(ppy)_3$ and compared their electroluminescence characteristics with those of the device with an emission layer of $(TCTA/TCTA_{1/3}TAZ_{2/3}/TAZ):Ir(ppy)_3$. The current density(J), luminance(L), and current efficiency($\eta$) of the device with an emission layer of $(80{\AA}-TCTA/90{\AA}-TCTA_{1/3}TAZ_{2/3}/130{\AA}-TAZ):10%-Ir(ppy)_3$ were 95 $mA/cm^2$, 25000 $cd/m^2$, and 27 cd/A at an applied voltage of 10V, respectively. The maximum current efficiency was 52 cd/A under the luminance of 400 $cd/m^2$. The peak wavelength and FWHM(full width at half maximum) in the electroluminescence spectral were 513nm and 65nm, respectively. The color coordinate was (0.30, 0.62) on the CIE (Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage) chart. Under the luminance of 15000 $cd/m^2$, the current efficiency of the device with an emission layer of $(80{\AA}-TCTA/90{\AA}-TCTA_{1/3}TAZ_{2/3}/130{\AA}-TAZ):10%-Ir(ppy)_3$ was 34 cd/A, which has been improved 1.7 times and 1.4 limes compared to those of the devices with emission layers of $(300{\AA}-TCTA_{1/3}TAZ_{2/3}): 10%-Ir(ppy)_3$ and $(100{\AA}-TCTA/200{\AA}-TAZ):10%-Ir(ppy)_3$, respectively.
20S-dihydroprotopanaxatriol (2H-PPT) is a derivative of protopanaxatrol from ginseng. Unlike other components from Panax ginseng, the pharmacological activity of this compound has not been fully elucidated. In this study, we investigated the modulatory activity of 2H-PPT on the cellular responses of monocytes and macrophages to understand its immunoregulatory actions. 2H-PPT strongly upregulated the release of radicals in sodium nitroprusside-treated RAW264.7 cells and the surface levels of costimulatory molecule CD86. More importantly, this compound remarkably suppressed nitric oxide production, morphological changes, phagocytic uptake, cell-cell aggregation, and cell-matrix adhesion in RAW264.7 and U937 cells in the presence or absence of lipopolysaccharide, anti-CD43 antibody, fibronectin, and phorbal 12-myristate 13-acetate. Therefore, our results suggest that 2H-PPT can be applied as a novel functional immunoregulator of macrophages and monocytes.
Poly-$\gamma$-glutamic acid ($\gamma$-PGA) was mixed natural flora of Bacillus subtilis, contaminated from cooked soybeans. Also, it was performed to find out the antiallergic activity by using NC/Nga mice, in vitro. The $\gamma$-PGA (PGA-HM : PGA-high molecular weight), Molecular weight 300 kDa, was decomposed and made PGA-LM (PGA-low molecular weight) which has molecular weight below 30 kDa by sonication. Therefore, it was same result between PGA-HM and PGA-LM, and reported PGA-LM as basic result. We found that PGA-LM contains antiallergic efficacy that inhibit B cells and Th2 cells activation from isolated CD4+T cells in NC/Nga atopic dermatitis model mice, and not show a cytotoxicity in the hFCs. To investigate the effects of these PGA-LM in vitro, isolation of splenic B cell and CD4+ T cells in atopic dermatitis mice were used. To elucidate the role of PGA-LM in anti-CD40+ interleukin-4 (IL-4)-mediated B-cell activation, showed that the capacity of B cells to expression IL-$1\beta$, IL-6, and TNF-$\alpha$ mRNA down-regulated, and IL-10 mRNA up-regulation by PGA-LM treatment, but it had no effect on TGF-$\beta$ expression. In addition to CD4+IFN-$\gamma$+ and CD4+CD25+foxp3+, the functions of PGA-LM in the development of the CD4+CD25+foxp3+ and CD4+IFN-$\gamma$+cells, the phenotype and functions of PGA-LM induced CD4+CD25+foxp3+, and CD4+IFN-$\gamma$+cells in CD4+T cells. These results suggested that PGA-LM could change cytokine production and generate CD4+CD25+foxp3+ Tregs in NC/Nga mice, and may be effective for immunotherapy in patients with AD.
