자유곡면의 5축 NC 가공을 위한 CAM 시스템 개발 (Development of CAM system for 5-Axis NC machining of sculptured surfaces)

  • Developed in this research is a CAM system for 5-axis NC Machining of sculptured surfaces. We identify problems in generating 5-axis NC data and propose methods of overcoming them. Issues discussed in this paper are: kinematic modelling of NC machines; determination of cutter position (location and orientation); check of machine work-range; linear trajectory plann- ing ; calculation of feedrate number. The proposed system has been implemented in FORTRAN77 on the Personal IRIS EWS, and it also constitutes a module of the CAD/CAM system 'CASSET' developed in KIST CAD/CAM lab.

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop a CAD/CAM system for generation of designing and manufacturing information such as total drawing sub-assembly drawing, part drawing detail drawing part list and NC data for machining by CNC lathe were CUT machining center. Through this study the CAD/CAM system for deep drawing transfer die in mechanical press process has been developed The developed CAD system can generate the drawings of transfer die in mechanical press. Using these results from CAD system. it can generate NC data to machine die's elements on the CAD system. This system can reduce design man-hours and human errors. In order to construct the system it is used to automate the design process using knowledge base system. The developed system is based on the knowledge base system which is involved a lot of expert's empirical knowhow in the practice field. Using AutoLISp language under the Auto CAD system. CTK customer language of SmartCAM is used as the overall CAD/CAM environment. Results of this system will be provide effective aids to the designer and manufacturer in this field

  • This paper is concerned on kinematic analysis and simulation of an automatic feeding mechanism subjected by the motion of a curvilinear inverse can. The curvilinear cam is rotated by positioning a translating roller and the automatic feeding mechanism is moved to the sliding position by the motion of a campin fixed on the curvilinear cam. The curvilinear cam consists of two arcs of circles and two straight lines. The modular approach is used for the kinematic analysis of the feeding mechanism. As the first part of the paper for the motion simulation of the cam-feeding system, this paper discusses the algorithm to simulate the motion of the cam-feeding mechanism.   • In this study, a CAD/CAM system for axisymmetric deep drawing processes has been developed. An approach to the system is based on the knowledge based system. Under the environment of CAD/CAM software of Personal Designer, the system has been written in UPL. The geometries of intermediate and final object in deep drawing process, including processes parameters are input for the CAD/CAM system. The input data can be obtained from the results of Pro-Deep. The parts drawing of die sets for each process is generatedin tool design module of the CAD/CAM system. Also, the die assemblydrawings can be obtained. NC commands for machining of the part can be generated in the developed CAD/CAM system.

  • 최근 지르코니아와 CAD/CAM을 이용하는 심미적인 임플란트 보철치료 방법들이 많이 소개되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 방법들은 치은부위와 교합면부위에서 한계점들을 가지고 있다. 이에 본 증례에서는 지르코니아와 CAD/CAM 시스템을 이용하여 고정체 1 mm 상부에서부터 형성되는 점막하지르코니아 임플란트 보철물을 제작하고 이를 타이타늄 지대주와 접착하여 시멘트 나사 유지형 보철물을 제작하였다. 임상적으로 심미적이고 기능적면에서 만족할 만한 결과를 얻었기에 이를 보고하고자 한다.

  • 조기 교정치료의 개입은 종종 성장하는 치열을 정상 교합으로 유도하는 것에서부터 시작된다. 유치의 상실로 인한 맹출 실패를 예방하는 가장 간단한 방법은 밴드 및 루프와 같은 공간 유지장치를 부착하는 것이다. 밴드 및 루프 공간 유지장치는 밴드의 픽업 인상 과정을 거쳐야 하며, 시멘트 소실과 탈회, 인접치의 locking과 같은 문제들을 갖고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서 CAD/CAM을 이용한 band가 필요 없는 공간유지장치가 개발되었다. 본 증례는 밴드 없이 CAD/CAM을 이용하여 하악 제2소구치가 성공적으로 맹출할 수 있었기에 이를 보고하는 바이다.

  • CMM과 CAD/CAM접속(interface)은 1)CMM의 가동률 향상과 자동측정 프로그램 작성의 효율화, 2) 피축정물 측정 기준값의 효율적 작성, 3) CMM의 측정결과의 피드 백에 의한 데이터 해석과 설계시방, 도면의 수정, 4) 설계되지 않은 미지형상의 피측정물을 측정해 CAD/CAM시스템에 의한 모델링과 NC 가공 프로그램의 작성을 주목적으로하여 진행되고 있다. 향후 생산라인 내의 검사 스테이션으로 사용될 수 있도록 CMM 자체의 제약 극복과, 공장자동화를 위한 요소 기술, 기계와의 접속 (interface) 기술개발에 의해 설계, 가공공정에 비해 상대적으로 낙후되어 있는 검사공정의 자동화와 타부문과의 통합화가 촉진될 것으로 전망된다.

  • To purpose of this study is to model design and motion analysis of tangential cam mechanism using personal computer system. The CAD(Computer Aided Design) system used in this study was constructed with CPU(Central Processing Unit) 80486, RAM(Random Access Memory) 8M, CGA graphic card. By using developed program for tangential cam mechanism, we designed tangential cam models and analysed displacement, velocity, acceleration of follower.

  • The purpose of this study is the development of CAM system which can cut and measure any shape by machining center and coordinate measuring machine. The overall goal of the CAM system is to achieve the CNC machining, from digitizing through to final cutting. The hardware of the system comprises PC and machining center, CMM. There are three steps in the CNC machining, (1) workpiece measuring on the CMM, (2) geometric modeling by the CAD system, (3) NC commands generation by the tool path compensated for tool nose radius. It is developed a software package, with which can conduct a micro CAM system in the PC without economical burden.
