A Study on the Competitive Structure and Business Models of MRO e-Marketplace (기업소모성자재(MRO) 관련 e-Marketplace의 경쟁구조와 비즈니스 모델에 관한 연구)

  • B2B transaction was expected to dominate in the global market and thus many e-marketplaces have been built since 1999 in Korea. However, only a few e-marketplaces are thriving and the future of B2B e-marketplaces except MRO area seem to be uncertain. This paper explores why B2B transactions only in MRO area are rapidly increasing and examines the competing structure and business models of MRO e-marketplace. Business models of MRO e-marketplaces are various among different countries. However, they can be classified as three business models:information portal model, purchasing agent model, open market model. It is not easy to answer which business model is most competitive because each models have their own advantages and functions. Information portal model can be easily applied for the e-marketplace which operates off-line enterprises. Purchasing agent model is favorable to the e-marketplaces which has already obtained buyers and sellers. Open market model is desirable to the e-marketplace which has excess to global market.

  • 전자시장에서 판매자와 구매자의 비즈니스 모델은 매우 다양하다. 그것은 자료의 이동에 이용되는 통신망에 따라서도 구분된다. 내부의 조직적인 자료 통신망은 구매자-판매자 관계에 대해 두 가지 대조적인 영향을 미친다. 또한 통신망은 구매자와 판매자사이에 더욱 짧은 거래에 의해 특정화된 전자적인 시장을 조장하기 위해 이용된다. 그러나 존재하는 상거래 관계를 강화하기 위한 통신망의 사용과 새로운 거래 파트너에 변화비용을 증가시킴으로써 파트너를 일정한 상태로 유지하는데는 그럴 듯 하다. 이에 따라 전자적인 시장에 대한 요즘의 추세는 더욱 널리 인식되고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 배경에서 판매자와 구매자의 이론적이고 논리적 근거들을 바탕으로 전자시장에 적합한 비즈니스 모델들을 찾는데 그 목적이 있다.

A Study on the Effect of Buyer/Seller Relationship and Market Entry of Korea Electronic Trade Firms (전자무역업체의 바이어 관계결속과 시장진입에 관한 실증적 연구)

  • This research is to study the frequency of internet use in domestic trading companies and to analyze how to appear the effect of internet use in accordance with the frequency of internet use. The results of positive analysis are summarized as follows; First, the higher the frequency of internet use, the more likely buyer intimacy appears to be effective. Second, the higher the frequency of internet use, the more likely related companies or buyers are satisfied. Third, it is proved that an acquisition of marketing information is close relationship with internet use. That is, the higher the frequency of internet use, the more likely an acquisition on of marketing information is high. Ninth, the higher the frequency of internet use, the more likely the competitive predominance of companies is slightly enhanced.

A Study of Cross-border Trade in Second-hand Goods

  • Purpose - The purpose of this research was to examine the regulation and distribution channel of second-hand goods in cross-border trade in order to propose methods of protecting consumers through the international standardization of the intensifying second-hand trade and resource recycling. Research design, data, methodology - This study first defines several concepts relevant to research in international second-hand goods. Second, a questionnaire and interviews were conducted with manufacturers of second-hand toner cartridges and automobile parts to identify the current status of export and manufacturing. Results - The study proposes the international standardization of second-hand goods and waste to protect consumers and promote efficient resource recycling. Conclusions - The results of the study reveal that second-hand goods (except automobiles) do not have an HSK code to use for import/export data collection. Though used car exports are declining, used cars are increasing. Collecting data on used car parts is impossible because the buyers purchase and ship the second-hand parts.

  • The trial business of e-trade service providers for supporting small enterprises to find their markets abroad is about to begin from the end of March, 2003. The department of Industrial Resources held the "Committee of e-trade service provider selection" with professors of e-trade field, and selected three companies: ECplaza, EC21 and Tpage Global. The e-trade service providers combine the various technologies of on-line trades and off-line trades to support small enterprises with lack of marketing skills by intermediation of overseas buyers and production, registration of e-catalogs and offers, administration of inquiries, trade negotiations, and contract settlement. Prospective small enterprises with exports under US$ 5 million will be selected by 2005. The selected companies will be supported fully by the government, and will be provided with the services by the e-trade service providers. e-Trade service will be the most potential and successful ones in the future, which helps traders and organizations preparing for globalization.

  • The purpose of this study is recognized the problems of parking and parking demand, supply and operation of the control etc. It is to provide an alternative for the overall parking problem. Parking problem occurs because there is not enough parking spaces. In order to solve the parking problem of Chil-gok 1 residential development district, this study propose making use of a road parking lot establishment and the school playground and the public facilities construction parking lot. But it is the methods which are short-term. A fundamental solution method is Levying garage option on car buyers. It is system to apply a law for establishing garages to all of vehicles.

Computational Trust and Its Impact over Rational Purchasing Decisions of Internet Users

  • As web-based online communities are rapidly growing, the agents in the communities need to know their measurable belief of trust for safe and successful interactions. In this paper, we propose a computational model of trust resulting from available feedbacks in online communities. The notion of trust can be defined as an aggregation of consensus given a set of past interactions. The average trust of an agent further represents the center of gravity of the distribution of its trustworthiness and untrustworthiness. Furthermore, we precisely describe the relationships among reputation, trust and average trust through concrete examples showing their computations. We apply our trust model to online social networks in order to show how trust mechanisms are involved in the rational purchasing decision-making of buyers and sellers, and we summarize our simulation results.

  • The aims of this study was to provide information of sites to potential buyers and apartment builders through a comparative investigation on the urban criteria in 5 disDicts of Usan city Mugeo, Daun, Guhwa, Guyoung, and Cheonsang. The content analysis method was used to determine the urban factors which reviewed the urban and environment plan legal system and contents of plans which analyzed the housing characteristics in Ulsan city. Also utilized were professional's opinion and various emphasized elements such as the location of apartments through newspaper advertisement from 1990 to 1999. The urban evaluation factors used in this study were degree of air and noise pollulion, traffic facilities, land use, living environment and economics. Major findings are as follows: Mugeo area has the most convenience community facilities, Guyoung and Cheonsang areas have excellent natural environment-air and noise pollution.

Repurchase Intention of Experienced Buyers in the Internet Shopping Mall by Using Customer Segmentation (고객세분화를 통한 인터넷 쇼핑몰 구매 경험자 재구매의도 영향 요인)

  • Identifying customer repurchase intention is very Important for the Internet shopping mall to activate CRM (customer relationship management) in B2C (Business to Customer) eCommerce. In this paper, the experienced buyer's repurchase intention Is analyzed by using the approach of customer segmentation. Total of 979 samples, which had already experience of Internet shopping, are analyzed to demonstrate that the degree of repurchase Intentions differs from each segmented group. The benefit segmentation is performed by identifying private benefits for which consumers can seek among 14 services. The results show that the different group has a significant difference in the repurchase Intention. The results of repurchase intention can lead to practical recommendations for CRM in B2C eCommerce.
