  • 클라우드 컴퓨팅은 소프트웨어를 서비스로서 사용할 수 있도록 하는 SaaS 프레임워크를 포함한다. 기존의 서비스가 있음에도 테넌트와 용도의 차이에 따라 서비스 제공자가 서비스를 다시 구축한다면 비용이나 관리적 측면에서 많은 자원을 요구하게 된다. 이에 우리는 기존 소프트웨어를 재사용 할 수 있도록 프로세스 알제브라를 이용하여 분석하는 기법을 제안한다. process algebra는 소프트웨어의 구조를 분석하고, 이를 비즈니스 프로세스나 다른 언어로 표현할 수 있으며, 재사용할 수 있는지 검증할 수 있다. process algebra 중 CCS(Calculus of Communicating Systems)는 비즈니스 프로세스나 XML로 변환하기 유용하므로, 이를 이용하여 프로세스를 구조화하고, 구조화된 명세를 비교 및 관리를 위한 메타 저장소를 제안한다.

  • 소프트웨어 산업의 발전을 위해서는 소프트웨어 인력의 양성과 산업체에서의 적절한 인력활용이 필수적이다. 소프트웨어 인력의 양성을 위해서는 체계적인 훈련 및 교육과 함께 소프트웨어 산업에 적합한 자격제도의 운영이 요구된다. 현행 IT분야 국가기술자격제도는 소프트웨어 산업 발전에 부응하지 못하고 있으며, 소프트웨어 인력에게 요구되는 다양한 분야의 자격종목을 제공하고 있지 못하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 국내 소프트웨어 자격제도의 문제점을 분석하고, 해외 자격제도 벤치마킹 및 업계 현황조사를 통해 소프트웨어 자격제도 개선을 위한 프레임워크를 제시하였다. 소프트웨어 직무능력 표준 및 기술수준 검토를 통해 현재의 국가기술자격제도에서 갖추지 못하고 있는 다양한 직무의 수준별 자격 체계를 제시하고, 관련 정부기관이 이들 자격을 제도화할 수 있도록 정책 추진 방안을 제시하였다.

  • 최근 임베디드 소프트웨어가 다양한 분야에서의 개발이 두드러지면서 그 요구사항들도 다양해지고 있다. 그 중 이슈화되고 있는 것 중 하나가 하드웨어와의 종속성을 반영한 체계적인 개발방법을 제시하는 것이다. 기존의 개발방법들은 하드웨어와의 밀접한 관계, 여러 유사 도메인에 대한 고수준의 재사용성 요구 등 임베디드 소프트웨어가 갖고 있는 특성들을 효과적으로 반영하지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 제품계열적 접근방법을 통해 효율적인 임베디드 소프트웨어 개발방법을 제시하기 위한 개발프로세스 모델 설계방법을 제안한다. 개발프로세스 모델의 설계 중점은 먼저 효율적 요구사항 도출기법으로 디렉토리 방식의 도메인 스코핑 방식과 IDEF0 기반 비즈니스 모델을 제안한다. 다음으로 서비스 구조 기반의 컴포넌트 도출방식과 하드웨어 종속성을 고려한 아키텍처 설계 방식을 제안한다. 마지막으로 제안한 개발프로세스 설계모델이 어떻게 임베디드 소프트웨어 개발에 적용되는지를 보이기 위해 다중센서데이터 융합시스템에 적용한 결과를 설계과정마다 제시한다.

  • As the business has been highly informatized, many companies has bought the software for their works. There are two types of software license. One is a site license and the other is a user license. This paper is focused on the user license. User license has the number of the right to use software. So, software managers always need to know the number of licenses in use and should limit the number of software license in use. If someone in the company use a software without license, he will be treated as a piracy. In that case, the company should pay for the settlement cost for the exceeding license use. In this paper, we suggest the model how we can limit the installation of the software within the number of licenses by license management system.

  • The current software company report system in Korea has many problems in its efficiency and effectiveness. In this paper, we investigated the system by surveying the contracting officials and contractors in software development. By analyzing current status and some problems with the survey results, we derived an feasible improvement scheme for the software company report system. We suggested efficient procedures and reporting items for the registration process, some benefits for contractors, and the short-term direction for its implementation.

소프트웨어사업 하도급제도 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improvement of Subcontracting System for Software Project)

  • Small/medium software businesses are often at a disadvantage when trying to win government contracts. Rather, most of small/medium software companies work with larger companies in the form of subcontracting. In its broadest meaning, subcontracting refers to the purchase of a part of a product or process from a different company. Appropriate subcontracting system helps both large and small software firms keep in healthy. However, many problems regarding subcontracting have been reported and recognized as one of major obstacles impeding advancement of the software industry. This paper examines the current problems in subcontracting system by conducting a field survey and proposes directions to improve the system for software project. It suggests revision of 'Software Industry Promotion Act' to induce fair relationship among software firms.

다종 S/W 적용에 의한 선형계획법 연구 (An Applied Technique of Linear Programming Using Multi-Softwares)

  • Linear programming has become an important tool in decision-making of modern business management. This remarkable growth can be traced to the pioneering efforts of many individuals and research organizations. The popular using of personal computers make it very easy to process those complicated linear programming models. Furthermore advanced linear programming software packages assist us to solve L.P. models without any difficult process. Even though the advanced L.P. professional packages, the needs of more detailed deterministic elements for business decisions have forced us to apply dynamic approaches for more resonable solutions. For the purpose of these problems applying to the "Mathematica" packages which is composed of mathematic tools, the simplex processes show us the flexible and dynamic decision elements included to any other professional linear programming tools. Especially we need proper dynamic variables to analyze the shadow prices step by step. And applying SAS(Statistical Analysis System) packages to the L.P. problems, it is also one of the best way to get good solution. On the way trying to the other L.P. packages which are prepared for Spreadsheets i.e., MS-Excel, Lotus-123, Quatro etc. can be applied to linear programming models. But they are not so much useful for the problems. Calculating simplex tableau is an important method to interpret L.P. format for the optimal solution. In this paper we find out that the more detailed and efficient techniques to interpret useful software of mathematica and SAS for business decision making of linear programming. So it needs to apply more dynamic technique of using of Mathematica and SAS multiple software to get more efficient deterministic factors for the sophiscated L.P. solutions.

Business Collaboration Support for Offshore Software Development

  • Offshore software development (OSD) is international business collaboration. OSD projects often encounter intercultural and inter-linguistic problems disturbing the projects. Business documents are formal media of information and knowledge for OSD. While OSD documents should convey common understanding of the OSD products, the documents may contain unsuitable expressions which draw misunderstanding of the required products and offensive issues for the collaboration. Intercultural and inter-linguistic differences cause mistakes and inappropriate expressions. OSD from Japan to China is the largest in Asia, and Japanese language is often used in OSD documents. Large similarity is found between Japanese and Chinese in their languages, while many differences exist even for the same word. The similarity induces to write unsuitable expressions for both sides of OSD. To introduce risks for OSD projects caused by unsuitable or inappropriate expressions in OSD documents, we propose to apply a proofreading system of Japanese documents for OSD. Japanese consignor uses the system to refine OSD documents written by Japanese engineers for Chinese readers, and Chinese consignee uses it to refine Japanese documents written by Chinese Engineers as derivatives of OSD projects. Effectiveness of applying the proofreading system is discussed for actual projects.

A Comprehensive Theoretical Framework for a Better Understanding of Motivations of Participants in OSS Development Projects: A Meta-Research Approach

  • Participants in Open Source Software (OSS) development projects usually contribute voluntarily without expecting direct compensation for their work. One of the central puzzles raised by the success of OSS is the motivation of the participants; why top-notch programmers choose to write software that is released for no fee. In order to respond to this peculiarity employing a meta-research method, we first identify and review theoretical perspectives from diverse disciplines including economics, sociology, political science, anthropology, psychology, and management. Then, we suggest a comprehensive framework that provides a holistic understanding of the puzzle in question. Reviewing key empirical studies based on the suggested framework, we also suggest a future research agenda.

Analysis of the Open Source Software Sector in China

  • The paper describes the status and context of the Chinese Open Source Software (OSS) industry and ecosystem based on the analysis of the components of the China OSS Promotion Union. The analysis involves comparisons of several main Chinese developers of Linux operating system and makers of open source counterpart of the popular Microsoft Office package as well as several main Chinese OSS communities. Comparisons concern the technological and business aspect. The findings reveal peculiarities of the divergence of innovative activities of Chinese companies, as well as indicate that the strong government support may at the same time limit the technology selection under rigid competition, especially as foreign open source companies are found to be more focused on hobbyist developers and are able to maintain larger independent communities. Implications of the paper include the need to coordinate global development efforts and adjust science & technology policies in order to stimulate both the development and the diffusion of open source among Chinese companies and individual hobbyists.
