최근 대규모 비즈니스 시스템을 효율적으로 운영하고 자동화하기 위해 기법으로 BPM과 SOA의 융합이 제안되고 있으며 운영데이터로부터 매일 의미 있는 정보를 생성할 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 BPM-SOA 융합을 통해 비즈니스 프로세스 자동화 방법론을 제시하고 실제 프로젝트 관리 비즈니스 프로세스를 구현하여 검증한다. BPM-SOA 융합은 약 결합된 시스템 구조를 통해 향상된 확장성과 생산성을 제공하며 잦은 변경과 프로세스 재사용에도 장점이 있다. 그 다음, 기존 시스템에 새로운 비즈니스 프로세스가 추가될 때 시스템의 확장성을 분석한다. 마지막으로 의사결정을 지원하기 위한 SAP 비즈니스 인텔리젼스를 이용하여 BPM에서 생성된 데이터를 분석한다. 비즈니스 인텔리젼스는 의사결정에 유용한 정보를 제공할 뿐만 아니라 비즈니스 프로세스 최적화 기회를 제공한다.

Workflow Management System (WFMS) is a software system to support an efficient execution, control and management of complex business processes. Since traditional commercial systems mainly focus on automating processes, they don't have methods for enhancing the task performer's efficiency. In this paper, we propose a new method of executing business processes more efficiently in that a whole process is scheduled considering the degree of the participants' workload. The method allows managing the largest constraints among constituent resources of the process. We utilize DBR scheduling techniques to develop the method. We first consider the differences between workflow process models and DBR application models, and then develop the modified drum, buffer and rope. This leads us to develop WF-DBR (WorkFlow-DBR) that can control the proper size of the task performers' work list and arrival rate of process instances. Use of WF-DBR improves the efficiency of the whole process as well as the participants' working condition. We then carry out a set of simulation experiments and compare the effectiveness of our approach with that of scheduling techniques used in existing systems.

2003년부터 시작하여 현재 진행 중인 L전자의 BPM 구축은 한국에서는 최초의 전사적 BPM 구축으로 다른 기업의 관심의 대상이 되고 있다. L전자는 세계 TOP 3의 Global Brand을 이룬다는 목표 하에 기업 업무 혁신(process Innovation)을 가동하였다. 끊임없이 가속화되는 세계화나, IT의 발전 등으로 인한 기업 경영 환경의 변화는 전략의 변화에 따른 업무 처리 절차, 방식의 변화를 초래하고 있기 때문이다. 본 사례는 L전자가 BPM(Business Process Management)을 이용하여 업무 프로세스를 체계적이며 지속적으로 개선하려는 노력에 대하여 구체적으로 살펴보고, BPM을 통한 혁신의 의미와 가능성에 대하여 논의한다.

e-Transformation of an enterprise requires the collaboration of business processes to be suited to the business participants' purpose. To realize this collaboration, business processes should be implemented as components and the system developers could be able to reuse the components for their specific purpose. The first step of this collaboration is the discovery of exact components for business processes. A dilemma, however, is the fact that there are thousands or even millions of business processes which vary from one enterprise to another. Moreover, business processes could be decomposed into multiple levels of semantics and classified into several process areas. In general, discovery of exact business processes requires understanding of widely adopted classification schemes such as CBPC, OAGIS, or SCOR. To cope with this obstacle, business process metadata should be defined and managed regardless of specific classification schemes to support effective discovery and reuse of business processes components. In this paper, a methodology to discover business process components published in different semantic levels is proposed. The proposed methodology represents the metadata of business process components as topic maps stored in a registry and utilizes the powerful features of topic maps for process discovery. TM4J, an open-source topic map engine, is modified to support concept matching and navigation. With the implemented tool, application system developers can discover and publish the business process components effectively.

업무프로세스 관리시스템(BPMS：business process management system)을 이용하면 새로운 프로세스를 정의하거나 기존의 프로세스를 갱신하는 일이 매우 용이하다. 대체로 표준화되고 일상적인 업무를 대상으로 프로세스를 관리하는 것은 이러한 소프트웨어를 사용하여 효율성을 높일 수 있겠으나, 비일상적인 예외상황에 대한 처리를 위해서는 별도의 전문가 참여나 특수한 의사결정 과정을 거쳐야 하는 경우가 많다. 본 논문은 다수의 예외처리용 업무 프로세스가 저장소에 축적된 상황을 전제로 예외처리 프로세스 선정의 자동화 방안을 제시한다. 예외처리에 가장 적합한 프로세스를 검색하는 것은 예외상황에 관한 충분한 이해가 필요하기 때문에 상황의 인지(context awareness)는 매우 중요한 과제이다. 예외상황의 이해를 원활히 하고, 예외처리 프로세스의 효율적인 선정을 위해 본 연구에서는 '상황변수'와 '의사결정변수' 자료구조를 도입하였다. 전자상거래의 배송과정의 예외사례를 사용하여 제시한 변수구조가 어떻게 검색트리 생성에 활용되는지를 예시하였다. C5.0 알고리즘은 최적검색트리를 생성해주며, 그것은 또한 문제의 상황에 최적인 예외처리 프로세스의 선정을 위한 검색경로를 설정한 것임을 보여준다.

The purpose of this study is to analyse the effectiveness of Quality Leadership on the Business Performance through Quality System for Manufacturing Companies in the North-east China, and research into the model of Quality Leadership is related with the Business Performance. A new questionnaire of QM based on Conti's Quality System thesis, was developed and tested. A statistical analysis of data was collected from Manufacturing Firms in the North-east China. As a result, Quality Leadership is the important drivers of Total Quality Management, and is related with the Quality System. Then, the Quality System is directly related with process, and process is also related with the Product Quality and the Business Performance. Of course, the Product Quality is directly related with the Business Performance in the end.

The value of intangible assets of a company attracts attention in enterprise management environment drastically changing. Following such a trend, many companies have adopted knowledge management. Especially in construction industry of which success of a project is easily affected by the capacity of various participants and work performers, we may find many cases to which the knowledge managements have been adopted. However, the domestic design companies have tended to be late to introduce the knowledge management or have difficulty in effective use of KMS already constructed. This study suggests KMS based on BPM (Business Process Management) and drives its effects to improve problems mentioned above. We drives the expected effects by studying the existing studies and surveying domestic design companies and suggests Prototype for introducing a real system.

오늘날 경영환경은 기술혁신 등으로 인해 경쟁 압력이 커져 가는 불확실성의 환경하에 놓여 있다. 회사 내부에 수많은 정보들이 다양한 채널로 통해 입수되고 변경되기 때문에 정보를 체계적으로 관리하기 어렵고, 정보의 유지보수 관리에 어려움이 많다. 이와 같이 급변하는 기업환경에 신속히 대응하기 위하여 기업의 업무는 비즈니스 프로세스 중심으로, 기업의 정보시스템은 BPMS(Business Process Management System) 중심으로 구축되어가고 있다. 그러나 현재까지의 BPMS 솔루션들은 대부분 대기업 위주여서 중소기업의 경우에는 이러한 BPMS를 도입하기가 어려운 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 중소기업의 비즈니스 프로세스를 모델링하고 실행, 통제, 분석 할 수 있는 시스템을 개발하여 웹으로 서비스할 수 있도록 하였다. 개발된 시스템은 해당 업무를 자동으로 알려주고 업무별 흐름에 따른 양식과 설명서를 제공한다. 중소기업의 BPM 툴로서 사용할 수 있게 경량화하여 구현하였다.

기업이 경영활동이 세계화되고 글로벌 경영기업으로 탈바꿈하면서 이를 둘러싼 경영적 요소 및 환경도 급변하게 되어 기업이 처한 위험의 유형이나 빈도가 더욱 증가하게 되었다. 특히, 근래에 들어 IT와 산업이 융합되면서 산업의 비즈니스 프로세스에 중추적인 역할을 하고 있다. 그러나, 인터넷 환경하의 정보시스템은 기업 경영의 효율성을 증가시키는 반면 이에 따른 위험의 발생 정도와 그 파급 효과를 더욱 증가시키고 있다. 위험을 인식하고 이를 분석하고 평가하여 관리하는 능력이 뛰어난 기업은 위험에 따른 피해의 확산을 조기에 차단하고 오히려 이를 기회로 이용할 수 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 정보시스템을 기반으로 하는 자동차 제조 산업을 대상으로 비즈니스 연속성 확보를 위한 위험관리체계에 대한 연구를 하였다. 세부적으로 자동차 제조 산업의 비즈니스를 분석하여 정보자산을 식별하고 자산의 위험을 분석하여 평가하였다. 그리고 평가 요소에 따른 위험관리 대책을 수립하고 이에 따른 비즈니스 관점의 위험관리체계에 대한 프레임워크를 연구하였다.

Two reasons for the low success rate of the practical implementation of BPR are the lack of good models and consideration of information system development stage in a BPR project. This paper suggests an Integrated Business Process Model (IBPM), which incorporates two distinct but interrelated points of view: form and business process. By integrating the form model with the business process model, the IBPM has advantages in performing BPR projects; it helps to build the model, to analyze and redesign business processes, and to do requirement analysis of information systems. This paper also suggests a new BPR supporting tool, BRAWII(Business Reengineering Assistance Workbench version 2.0). BRAWIIsupports IBPM and manages full stages of BPR project. In the design of BRAWII, the linkage between results of a BPR project and requirements for information system development is considered.
