Purpose - In order for actively pursuing medium and long term policies of Gangwon region to be effectively and efficiently driven, efficacious and practical development strategies are needed. In terms of regional revitalization in most regions that are dependent on the primary industry like Gangwon-do Province, the maintaining of local community becomes difficult and there are limitations on the support from the central government and local governments. Therefore, local communities need to implement measures not only to be financially independent but also maintain and activate themselves. And community business can be adopted to be a proper strategy to cope with this change. This study drew importance of a community business model appropriate for Gangwon-do region to figure out success factors. Research design, data, and methodology - This study aimed to come up with importance of community business model for Gangwon-do region by using AHP Method. AHP Method, which was developed by Professor Saaty in 1970', is a methodology to simplify complex problems for a rational decision making. A survey targeting related public officials and expert group was carried out and a total of 30 questionnaires were collected for the analysis. Results - Analysis model used in this study was to prioritize community business models of Gangwon-do region. The second hierarchy was divided according to local restoration type, local resource utilization type, environment improvement type, and life support type. The third hierarchy consisted of 5 items such as network, the middle structure, program, government support, and human resources to measure each importance. As a result, in the second hierarchy, local resource utilization type had the highest importance. In the third hierarchy, the middle structure had the highest importance, followed by government support, program, network, and human resources. Collectively, the results suggested that important critical factors of community business model of Gangwon-do region was the importance of local resource utilization model and the middle structure. Conclusions - Not only should projects that are already operating in the region but next community business projects that are planning in the Gangwon-do region should be practically operated in view of the importance and the models derived from this study.

This paper presents the evaluation model which is included in a quantitative evaluation methodology for evaluation processes of validity and effectiveness of information budget investment and improving conformance of ROI(Return On Investment). That is, the right efficiency targets of information investment for the development project to GDOC (Government electronic Document Distribution Center), and KPls(Key Performance Indexes) which enable to evaluate objectively effectiveness in the preliminary and post evaluation phases are developed, and then the results were come out by practical investigation study using quantitative evaluation methodology.

Recently, digital contents systems have been constructed by means of a Web-based Information Systems(WBIS). However, developers supper from the Web Crisis since there is no systematic methodology for development and maintenance of the WBIS. To partially cope with the problem, we propose web-based business process and navigation modeling methods for efficient restructuring of a WBIS. A Business Process Net model is the business process model. Additionally, system structure model, state transition model, and user interaction model are the navigation models. These models might be useful for development and restructuring of a WBIS which includes digital contents.

Supply chain performance management is the essential part of various business activities in supply chain management area, and integrating it with general business management improves the supply chain performance. Although supply chain performance management is important and expected of market growth, there are few researches on this area and lack of practical applications. To resolve these problems, this paper presents a new performance management methodology for a supply chain integrating SCOR (Supply Chain Operational Reference) model and Balanced Scorecard (BSC). And we develop a framework of the Supply Chain Performance Management System (SCPMS) based on this methodology, and implement a prototype system.

Purpose: This study attempts to analyze the current status of the railway logistics business and to seek ways to improve it by using the business model as an analytical framework. It was intended to reflect practical implications that could be applied to the field, by dealing with issues at the industrial site related to each component in the business model. Research design, data and methodology: This study was conducted through literature review and field research. We analyzed academic papers and industrial reports on the development of the railway logistics industry and interviewed various stakeholders in the railway logistics industry. Results: This study determined the factors that could be eliminated, raised, reduced, or created from the customer and product perspective, infrastructure management perspective, and financial perspective. Conclusions: The growth of existing business can be achieved by lowering service prices, improving service quality, and securing large-scale transportation capacity. The additional transportation of high value goods and cold chain commodities will be promising business opportunities. Existing services can be provided to new customers (large pre-shippers, forwarding customers, etc.) in order to increase the size of sales Urban delivery services and comprehensive logistics services based on complex logistics centers may open an avenue for new market. A more timetable and track capacity need to be assigned to logistics, which significantly improve the flexibility and the competency of railway logistics.

Recently, the computer software technology is not keeping pace with the increasing demand of application software development and rapid changes in business environment. To overcome this "software crisis", many researchers have studied the methodologies to improve the productivity in software development and the flexibility of software usage. Among these methodologies, the most promising and intensively studied methodology is the Object-Oriented Approach The purpose of this study is, therefore, to examine the applicability of the Object-Oriented Approach for improving productivity and flexibility in Management Information Systems development. For an application, we selected a financial planning model, especially focusing on the budgeted income statement. In this thesis, we identified relevent objects in the budgeted income statement, and represented them in the object models. By implementing these object models using C++ language, we evaluated their adaptability in the budget-making process, and showed, by comparing them with the existing Planning '||'&'||' Modeling Languages such as IFPS(Interactive Financial Planning Saystem), their practicability in Management Information Systems. The results of this study are as follows: First, the same object models can be used in making the budgeted income statement both in the department level and in the corporate level. Second, the object models provide the flexibility and extensibility of an application program in case of the changes in business environment. Third, the Object-Oriented Approach is a practical methodology to improve the productivity and cut down the maintenance cost of application software development.t.

It is expected that the next generation mobile communication system will be a service-driven developed system capable to realize the human-centric mobile convergence services. and it is different from the technology-driven development approach of the second and the third generation mobile communication systems. As a preliminary research work on such service-driven system development approach for the next generation mobile communication system. we developed the scenario based service analysis process (2SAP) framework to derive core service technologies and functionalities. In this paper. we propose the next generation mobile convergence service business model creation methodology based on research results of the 2SAP framework. To achieve this goal, we first establish a service model contains several components such as infrastructures. operations. and provision of services that are indispensible for providing next generation mobile services. Then, the next generation mobile services and its corresponding business models can be created by adding service and value flows to the developed service model after defining necessary components of business model including actors, their relationships, and roles.

Many researchers have studied component technologies with concept, methodology and implementation for partial business domain, however there are rarely researches for component classification to manage these systematically. In this paper, we suggest a component classification model, which can make component reusability higher and can derive higher productivity of software development. We take four focuses generalization, abstraction, technology and size. The generalization means which category a component belongs to. The abstraction means how specific a component encapsulates its inside. The technology means which platform for hardware environment a component can be plugged in. The size means the physical component volume.

Purpose - The purpose of the study is to promote the adoption of traditional liquor product contents in order to revitalize the market and to increase consumer awareness of traditional liquor. Research design, data, methodology - In this study, the 4P relationship model was evaluated that included the self-supporting business of traditional liquor, continuous business, diversification of the types of the liquor, and discovery of preliminary social enterprises for the distribution of the liquor. Results - The study suggested a 4P relationship model that consisted of traditional liquor as the product, traditional market as the place, promotion within traditional market, and payment of labor costs. In other words, selection of the traditional liquor product, place, rental supports, distribution and delivery strategies, operations, public relations and training, foundation of social enterprises, and discussion between departments. Conclusions - The central government, local governments, and merchants (the market association) should actively cooperate with each other to revitalize the market for traditional liquor. Social enterprises that rely on a non-profit business model are likely to revitalize the traditional liquor market.

This paper aims to suggest a validity analysis model that would be helpful for local governments considering u-City construction projects and a methodology for them to promote build-transfer-lease (BTL) u-City projects. This methodology mainly uses quantitative and qualitative analysis based on the Value For Money (VFM) designed by the Public and Private Infrastructure Investment Management Center (PIMAC) under the Korea Development Institute (KDI). BTL projects requires a large amount of capital and involves long-term investments. Therefore, multi-faceted validity analysis is required for the success of a project. This study will enumerate various factors to be considered in the pre-analysis of validity of BTL projects and suggest a methodology to verify them. A case study of a BTL project promoted by Ansan City assisted in designing this study in detail.
