Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to investigate the influence of brand equity on customer purchase decision (CPD) of products for retailers distribution (RB) in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam. There are five elements in the brand equity model such as brand awareness, brand association, brand loyalty, perceived quality, and pricing policy. Research design, data and methodology: Qualitative methodology was used for exploring the research model and variables. The survey was conducted to collect data from 251 respondents who bought products at RB in Ho Chi Minh city, which is based on a Likert scale. The collected data were analyzed with the reliability of the scale, exploratory factor analysis, and research hypothesis testing by SPSS 22. Results: The results obtained revealed that brand awareness, brand association, perceived quality, and pricing policy have a significant impact on CPD for RB. Furthermore, the results showed that perceived quality is the most significant component in influencing CPD at retailers. Conclusions: From the research results, some management implications that RB should focus on are perceived quality, choice of pricing policies and strategies, brand building and development to attract more customers as well as enhance its image to improve customers' purchasing decisions of products at retail distributors chain.

An existing risk diagnosing methodology (RDM) diagnoses corporate risk for product-innovation projects. However, it cannot evaluate and compare the risk levels of multiple alternatives in the product development stage. This paper proposes a modified risk diagnosis method to fill the gap of risk evaluation in selections of innovative product alternatives and the application of the method will be also illustrated by a case problem on alternative selections in electrical dimmer designs. With RDM as the foundation, a modified RDM (MRDM) is proposed to deal with the problem of selecting innovative project alternatives during the early stages of product development. The Bayesian network; a probabilistic graphical model, is adopted to support the risk pre-assessment stage in the MRDM. The MRDM is proposed by incorporating the risk pre-assessment stage into the foundation. By evaluating the engineering design risks in two electrical dimmer switches, an application of the MRDM in product innovation development is successfully exemplified. This paper strengthens the existing methodology for RDM in innovative product development projects to accommodate innovative alternatives. It is advantageous for companies to identify and measure the risks associated in product development so as to plan for appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

토지정보화 방법론은 정보시스템 개발 방법론의 과정을 따르면서 토지정보의 구축 및 관리, 활용에 특화된 토지정보화와 관련된 시스템의 개발에 적용할 수 있는 방법론이다. 따라서 정보시스템의 구축 방법론의 이해와 토지정보화에 대한 특수한 상황의 이해가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 토지정보화에 대한 이해를 높이기 위하여 기존의 토지정보시스템들에 대한 다양한 분석을 시도하였고, 기초 방법론으로는 EA기반의 참조모형 및 컴포넌트 기반의 방법론을 활용하고 있다. 더불어 토지정보화 과정 중에 발생할 수 있는 다양한 문제나 이슈사항, 단계별로 수행하여야 하는 문제 등을 제시하여 방법론 세부항목으로 구성함으로서 토지정보화 방법론의 특수성을 최대한 살릴 수 있도록 구축하였다.

The present study is aimed at developing the optimal instruments for dispelling the uncertainty factors during the formulation of strategies for corporate development. The objective is the creation of a complete model of strategic analysis, which encompasses both the environment (internal and external) and the management rational component. This model -built on the analysis of three corporate cases - is concretized by a simulation for testing the strategy by the means of software which enables the users to cope with a dynamic and complex corporate environment. The research questions regard the development of a complete strategic analysis, which covers the entire decision-making process; the concrete assessment of the business strategy on the basis of quantitative data: the identification and enhancement of the critical variables of business administration, in such a complex and dynamic reality as the corporate environment.

Purpose: The purpose of the study is to explore the factors which influence the night-time economic development in Hanoi, Vietnam. The results can help policymakers achieve a scientific basis to plan the development of night-time economy in Hanoi. Research design, data and methodology: The research model is developed from literature review with 7 independent variables, including natural conditions and resources, infrastructure, safety, environmental issues, promotion and international integration, development of sharing economy, and institution and policy. This model is then adjusted by exploratory factors analysis to have 4 new variables: Institution and environment, Infrastructure and safety, Promotion and sharing, and Nature and resources. The model is regressed based on the data of 463 observations of night-time economy in Hanoi, Vietnam. Results: Consistent with the current literature addressing night-time economy, the results show positive impacts of all of the independent variables studied. Conclusions: It is recommended for the local authorities to strengthen advertising and promoting investment for NTE development in Hanoi city and also enhance the role of state management in NTE activities by raising awareness of the state management apparatus towards a more open-minded multi-dimensional view of the NTE, developing the NTE to overcome the barrier of thinking "if it cannot be managed, it is forbidden" in state management agencies, and defining responsibilities and authority among state management agencies in the management of NTE activities and strengthening decentralization and decentralization of powers for localities in the management and development of NTE.

국내 유아식 및 유제품 제조기업의 선두주자인 M사는 출산율의 감소로 인한 시장 규모 축소, 외산 분유의 유입 증가, 심화되는 경쟁사와의 내수시장 경쟁으로 인하여 점점 성장률이 침체되는 경향을 보이고 있었다. 이러한 환경 가운데 M사는 개방형 협업을 통한 서비스 혁신 방법론을 활용하여 새로운 서비스 혁신의 기회를 마련하였다. 그 결과, 외부 이해관계자와의 협업을 통해 서로가 필요한 가치를 상호 교환하고, 외부 자원과 내부의 축적된 기술적 역량을 연결함으로써 차별화된 서비스를 만들 수 있었다. 본 논문에서는 기업 외부의 자원을 활용하여 신 서비스를 개발한 M사의 "개방형 협업을 통한 서비스 혁신 방법론(Open Collaboration Innovation Methodology, OCIM)"의 활용을 중심으로 서술되었다. 또한, 방법론을 적용할 때에 나타난 한계점과 실제 적용할 때 고려해야 할 사항들과 향후 연구의 방향이 수립되었다.

Purpose - The main purpose of this study is to contribute to the elevation of producers' production at various levels by proposing the creation of producer improvement indexes that can be used for the successful 6th industrialization of Korean agribusiness based on the Kano model and has synergistic effects on the development of the 6th industry through scientific researches. Research design, data, methodology - To this end, this study derived better and worse index from the same estimation of Timko's customer satisfaction index as in the evaluation charts used in previous researches and theoretical studies on the Kano model. Results - In this paper, we suggested that the formula for producing PSCI Index be applied to yield the producer improvement index in the 6th industry, in order to draw SIPPI. Conclusions - If this suggestion is realized, then a lot of researchers will be supported to more systematically study producers, and it is expected to contribute to the development of the 1th industry, a basis for the successful 6th industry. Moreover, the central government and municipalities are expected to provide a variety of clues for applying various policies for successful agribusiness.

Purpose: This study seeks to establish the environmental damage theory applicable to Kenya. The analysis is based on annual data drawn from World Bank on carbon dioxide emissions (CO2e) and gross domestic product per capita (GDPPC) for Kenya spanning 1963 to 2017. Research Methodology: The study adopts explanatory research design and autoregressive distributed lag model for analysis. Results: The results revealed a coefficient of -0.017 for GDPPC and 0.004 for GDPPC squared indicating that economic growth has negative effect on CO2e in the initial stages of growth but positive effect in the high growth regime with the marginal effect being higher in the initial growth regime. The findings suggest a U-shaped relationship consistent with Brundtland Curve Hypothesis (BCH). Conclusions: The findings emphasize the need for sustainable development path that enables present generations to meet own needs without compromising the capacity of future generations to meet their own. Sustainable development may include, investment in renewable energies like wind, solar and adoption of energy efficient technologies in production and manufacturing. The study concludes that BCH is applicable to Kenya and that developing affordable and effective mechanisms to boost sustainable development implementation is necessary to decrease the anthropogenic impact in the environment without any attendant reduction in the economic growth.

Purpose - Through the analysis and research of different characteristics and related mechanisms of live commerce anchors, this paper aimed to help live commerce anchors to strengthen their characteristic advantages, beautify the live broadcast environment, improve resource allocation and enhance business performance, so as to help live commerce anchors to achieve better high-quality development. Research design, data, and methodology - This study was conducted by sample survey method on 361 live commercial anchors who have experience in using major online shopping malls for more than one year. Data analysis methods were frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation model analysis. Result - Hypothesis 1 through Hypothesis 5 were all supported. The results of this study suggest that professionalism and mutual entertainment of live commercial anchors have a significant impact on business performance, survival strategy, resource allocation and environment selection. The resource allocation and environment selection of live commercial anchors play a mediating role in the professionalism and mutual entertainment of live commercial anchors on business performance and survival strategy. Conclusion -The results implied that the professionalism and inter entertainment of live commercial anchors have a positive impact on business performance and survival strategy. In the new situation, live commercial anchors should further improve their professionalism and mutual entertainment, so as to achieve better development.

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to propose procedure and methodology for developing failure rate databook which is suitable for Korean operation environment. Methods: To this end, we investigate failure databooks used in foreign countries and study the procedure and methodology for collecting failure data, organizing the data, estimating failure rate and summarizing results. Results: We develop the procedure of development of failure databook, the items for data collection, database schema of part details and part summary and contents of failure databook by considering the application environment in Korea. Conclusion: The results of our research could be utilized for the development of Korean failure rate databook and research of reliability prediction model and could ultimately contribute to improve the accuracy of reliability prediction.
